i have.... Such a storied history with that music 😭 i found it when i was 20, a year after i made a playlist based on my experiences going to see my uncle play in his german cultural society bands and like fancy christmas dinners and stuff, as well as the twilight zone tower of terror ride at disney which had a really immersive 1920s hotel themed queue with like cobwebs and stuff. the idea of old big band music was really interesting to me. so naturally i was instantly interested in eateot. really spooky music. i was obsessed from a distance. at some point everyone in my local classic rock shitposting discord space knew about it to some degree and somewhere in there we would once or twice do a listening party of the whole thing. meanwhile i was interested in meeting more people who were into this music, so i went to see if there was a discord server. there was not, at least that i could find, so i made my own. i didnt expect it to be that serious so i kinda just modded the first few people who joined lmao. big mistake. lots of drama. the server grew really really big to like hundreds of members. but then long story short it got deleted by this one person who really shouldnt have gained power and everyone merged over to this other caretaker server which kinda sucks BUT in visiting that server just now to refresh myself on how everything had gone down because its been so long, i met with a lovely transgender girl who turned out to be not only the server owner but in fact one of the mods from my server who hadnt transitioned back then!!!!!!!!! so yaaayyy🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️the story ends with a transgender win. anyway the music is really scary because i have a grandma with dementia and im worried about it happening to my mom and myself so i cant listen to it any more but i still highly respect it as a work of art and i love the ivan seal cover art

Eddie joins the Discord call, "Sorry, I'm late!"

"Finally!" you cry out.

"They're my normie friends," you say.

Eddie feigns surprise, "You actually have friends?"

Bella and Jorge chuckle while you sneer out, "Fuck you, Munson."

Shocked, Bella just says, "Wow."

Jorge cackles, "Y/N, where did you find this guy?"

"In the depths of the internet and now he won't leave me alone."

"You invited me!" Eddie exclaims.

You shake your head with a chuckle, “I mean Eddie and I are friends. He’s…cool.”

You snort, “Stop it! You guys know we’re just friends! Anyway, this loser is late! Is he streaming already?"

You open twitch on another tab and pull up his profile. He just started streaming and he's talking to his chat.

You smirk and type into his chat:

Eddie reads your message aloud and then holds his hands up, "Okay, okay! Sorry! Yeesh, Nagging Nancy over here."

You narrow your eyes at your screen and type in chat again:

You watch as Eddie smirks, "When? Psh. Honey, I'm not gonna be res-ing you when you die 'cause I'm gonna live the most!"

You then hear the familiar ding when Eddie joins the Discord call, "Sorry, I'm late!"

You shrug even though he can't see you, "I still want to listen to it, Eddie."

"I'll hold you to it." A silence falls upon you two as you switch games. Suddenly, you get the notification that EddieTheBanished raided with 1,732 viewers.

"Oh! Thanks for the raid, Eddie! Hi, raiders! For those who don't know me, I'm CyberCat. You can call me Cat or Y/N. I'm a variety streamer. Uuuhh, just finished playing Fornite with Eddie and my normie friends. Now I'm gonna play some Animal Crossing and chill for the rest of the night. You look at Eddie and see he's still in the call with you, "Eddie, are you just gonna hang out here?"

Eddie kept your stream up while he worked on his music. Occasionally he'd pause and watch as your Animal Crossing character ran around the island trying to catch a bug or go fishing. He didn't want to admit it but he definitely had a crush on you. There was just something about you that made him feel all fuzzy inside. You were beautiful, funny, sweet, and your banter with him made him feel alive. But you wouldn't feel the same. You couldn't. Sure, you two would talk every day, play games together and whatnot, but you've never met in person. He couldn't-shouldn't have these feelings for you.

can I ask advice? my friend recently came out to me as a trans girl, but she’s having a really hard time. apart from the everything about being a trans woman in the world, she’s been treated horribly already as a traumatized autistic “boy” and there aren’t any other transfems around us, the only other trans person we know is me and im more or less theyfab. so here’s the question: I know she really wants to make friends as herself, especially with other transfems, and get into a community, but she’s terrified and depression fatigued and doesn’t feel like she’s really worth it bc she’s pre transition. is it inappropriate for me to look for/contact transfem support groups or discords? im not gonna push her into anything but she does very well with more information and if it’s not rude or invasive, I thought I might just ask in a few transfem spaces or contact the mods and sort of what goes on and what they’re about, see if they have any other recs for newly hatched chicks if they’re more insular. and then just like. Send her the rundowns so she’s not going in blind. I don’t want to push and I don’t want to get in random online trans women’s business asking stupid questions. but I also know that even tho we’re friends I don’t quite Get It or Know Stuff and I cant rly be everything she needs nd deserves with this. and after all she’s been through I don’t blame her for being scared to reach out. it is not inappropriate for you to look for/contact transfem support groups or discords!!! well some of the discords might be weird about it because discords are often run weird but that's just a discord thing.

better yet -- you could look for local events and take her! dont feel like you cant go because youre not transfem, if you're taking a trans girl to a transfem event, unless it's for us "only" then you're allowed/encouraged to come with. she'll feel less anxious with a trans friend who will have her back!!

i think this is the biggest advice i have for TME trans people/cis queer people in supporting trans girls -- go with her. be her friend. stand up for her! trans girls are so denied from everything that even when we're explicitly allowed, we function like vampires. you need to offer us a space, and you might need to physically take her to events in/around your area if you can find anything at all -- even if you have to travel

It's the start of the 2nd Term 2024 Inuyasha Fandom Awards!

We hope everyone has had a good start to the year! A huge shout-out to everyone who participated last term and made it such a huge success! We look forward to all of the amazing new fanfiction and fanart to be shared with this beautiful community!

A special thank you goes out to @elevenharbor for donating her time and talent to creating banners for everyone! (If you have not received your award banner for last term, please reach out to one of the mods asap!)

We also wanted to let you know that the lovely @yukinon-writes has stepped down as being a moderator for FeudalConnection. She has brought such amazing elements to our awards, and we will always keep a mod-spot open should she wish to return.

With her parting, we've had a seamless transition in welcoming @the-lone-huntress into the fold, and we look forward to all of her ideas and innovations she brings with her.

At the end of last term, the voting form also included the possibilities of the Roulette Categories for this term, and we have taken the top choices for both Fanart and Fanfiction:

The Fanfiction Roulette Category for this term will be Best Rising Author. This is defined as: A piece crafted by an Inuyasha fandom creator who has not placed first, second, or third in any previous quarters. A category to recognize lesser-known authors and show them some love.

The Fanart Roulette Category for this term will be Best Underappreciated Fanart. This is defined as: An Art piece with under 100 notes or retweets, designed to highlight some of the newer or lesser known artists.

In addition, we are adding a Roulette Romance category for both Fanfiction and Fanart. This term the pairing chosen will be Inuparents (Inu no Taisho x Izayoi).

For Fanfiction, it will be defined as: Stories that have developed a believable romance between Inu no Taisho and Izayoi (aka Inuyasha's parents). "Believable" is subjective, and it is up to those nominating/voting to draw their own line on that quantifier and vote their "Best". This includes canon universe and AU/AR settings. A thruple can be included, but only if the focus is on Izayoi and Inu no Taisho's relationship.

For Fanart, it will be defined as: Any romantic depiction of Inu no Taisho and Izayoi (aka Inuyasha's parents).

The original Best Romance categories will remain, so all other pairings, including LGBTQ+, can be nominated into those categories. All other pairings will be up for voting again next term.

Guys, I hate to do this.

Any of you who know me in any circle know that I'm a very professional, very private lady who hates any sort of disc horse breeds that might give me a headache. But this one is important, and my goal here is the integrity and reputation of artists.

For my credentials: I have been a part of five zines in the past. Two I moderated, and one I ran, created, laid out, printed, and shipped in its entirety.

So anyway:

HELLCHEER ZINE BULLSHIT

I joined Hellcheer and the Kindred Freaks Zine very late. Well, after sign ups, check-ins, etc. I saw it was happening in april-ish and shot a DM to the twitter to join. I did both a full art page and a cosplay page.

At the time, the server was quiet but kind. We got updates on the number of orders and books being made.

@Lawless is the runner of the Zine. They created and organized it. They are in charge of the main emails, the selling website, the orders, the shipping, and the funds. (To be clear, this level of sole responsibility is not ABNORMAL in a zine. And is not always an issue.)

@Valerie is the 'social media' mod. They are in charge of managing announcements and answering questions on Twitter and Tumblr. Please keep in mind: No one wants anything but a fast and easy recovery for both Lawless and their mother. Medical emergencies, heck—LIFE happens. It's always okay to put a hiatus on anything, even product with money, in order to take care of yourself and family. Every single contributor only wants them to be clear in what they need and how we can help.

So lets break down what's happening.

Back in May, Lawless went radio silent on the status of books and merch coming in. Another contributor and I, @Toguchin, start dming Lawless to make sure everything is on track. They come back after a week and apologize for being MIA, explaining that their mom got sick. We thank them for all their hard work and wish them and their mom well.

On July 15th, after contributors and customers inquire on delays to meeting the announced shipping deadline, Lawless makes a twitter post saying shipping has started and contributor copies will be happening. They proceeded to go MIA from the server discord and have been since.

The following week, contributors and customers discover that shipping HAS NOT started. Labels have been created and printed, but nothing appears to be in transit at all.

Toguchin and I started getting reached out to by customers worrying their packages are lost. We report this to the zine server to NO RESPONSE. Except @Ashlee, the discord mod who also has heard nothing.

July 20th to 22nd with customers complaining and theorizing a scam in mind; Toguchin and I propose that PDFs be given out to assure and apologize for delays.

We as a server discover a few things: 1. We cannot access the list of buyers at all in order to email apology zines because Lawless did not share the account information with anyone. 2. We cannot access the main email for the same reason. 3. Valerie, the social media mod, deleted discord and distanced themselves from the Hellcheer fandom and has not been checking the Twitter or tumblr, or discord notifications since May.

Ashlee and Ichikun contact Valerie to sign on.

I made a new email and said fuck it, we need to do something to assuage fears, let them send receipts to honor their zines. Valerie didn't know what to post or say or how to answer everyone, so I gave them a copy paste.

Still no words from Lawless but hoping for the best knowing the have a medical emergency, Ashlee and I begin answering the new email for PDFs, but cant help people change addresses or give them any update!!!

Throughout the weeks mods and contributors ping Lawless constantly asking if they need any help! Any help at all, answering emails, changing order addresses, heck a few of us ask if we can pick up the books and packages and ship stuff for them so they can hands off the project and take care of their mom. No response.

We send message after message saying if Lawless can share picture proof, that would be great cause scam theories and chargebacks are starting. BUT ALSO, we let Lawless know we and customers will ABSOLUTELY UNDERSTAND delays if they just communicate it. That if they post in server and on Twitter that shipping needs to wait a month or two, no one will mind. No responses.

July 31, Lawless makes a Twitter update with comments disabled that they are shipping ALL packages that monday with a picture of packages. They also call Valerie privately and tell the issue that USPS refuses to pick up shipments from Lawless has, and they can't leave their mothers side from the post office. They also claim they can only deliver ten packages at a time at the post when they go. *USPS has no such rules. Me and other mutuals who run shops have never had such a problem.

A week later, we realize that customers and our packages are still not in transit. Labels printed only. Most of us assume all packages are just label printed and sitting at Lawless' house.

We beg for updates from Valerie or Lawless. Valerie doubles down on Lawless old reasonings and also officially goes MIA until present day.

Throughout August, USA packages get delivered. A few more updates are made straight to Twitter and Tumblr with comments off. Radio silence in server.

As packages arrive, we all become aware from people's posts and pictures that random Stranger Things Art Stickers are included. No credit to any artist is given? No contributor is responsible for this art. These are suspected to be BOUGHT from Amazon. STOLEN arts amazon sellers resell in packs. NO contributor is okay with this!!! Valerie responds with no response at all.

As of now:

No response to missing digital copies. Ashlee and I cannot give out any without receipts because we have no access to buyers list. Nor can we answer missing packages inquiries cause we have no info. International packages unaccounted for. SCRUNCHIES FREE OR OTHERWISE UNACCOUNTED FOR. Zero word on contributor copies. Zero word on donation status. Zero word on generated profit or book and shipping cost. No way to verify funds at all. No word from Lawless to contributors since July 15. From Valerie since the 31st.

Some notes:

Turning off twitter comments was NEVER what any one of us wanted. A ZINE LAYOUT was never shared. So until people had them in hand or in PDF none of us realized that the credits DO NOT POINT TO ANY SOCIAL MEDIA. All of our usernames are handle-less? This was extremely disappointing. This one matters to me: Our FanEdit artist was not aware their work was not getting a full page. Again no pre-layout was shared. So their work is tiny and in the margins of the front and back. That's not okay. All of us wanted to help in any way we could. NONE of us doubt Lawless intentions or emergencies. But lying, misleading, non-communicating and turning off comments are all things we did not consent to. All of us only wanted a cordial, honest response. None of us actually cared about delays as much as we did communications. There has been many noticeable times Lawless has been online, posting privately or otherwise, even active on Discord and has not reached out.

Why make a post:

Customers should know contributors fought for them. That we did everything we could and our reputation as artists in the fandom shouldn't be tarnished cause two creators decided to disappear. Contributors should get their copies. Many of us BOUGHT bundles. I've been in five zines and every single one gave out free contributor copies WITH merch!!

I'm also attaching all server screenshots for integrity. I'm in half a mind to release the zine PDF publicly, for free, for everyone at this point. I personally think it's only fair since many are still missing just that. But I do not want to insult anyone who paid for just the PDF regardless of the potential contribution to charity. But it's really up to customers, not me.

Auto Grab Drink when Eating Fixed an Issue with StreetFoodTable Customers (Home Chef Hustle) not eating, which should also fix the Issue some Players have, where Sims go get Water via Sinks etc.

Horse Jump Parkour I set the Distance Test higher for my Interactions to show up. Removed some Animation Parts (Scratch Neck etc.) between Jumps, so that the transition between jumps looks smoother (Only affects my Interactions).

was it hard/weird to go from being a fan to a cast member? And what was your favorite part of each?

I mean,,, in an odd way not really? There was a slight weirdness to it in the beginning, maybe, but outside of a few issues, it was honestly a very easy transition for the most part, and I think it’s because I was friends with the some of the cast before I was a fan? I sort of occupied this weird middle space already while I was in the fandom, almost.

I didn’t really start watching Fable solely from the place of stumbling onto it as a fan. I came into it wanting to watch and support my friends. Most of the cast and I were already in the same circle of friends and creators, or at least closely adjacent ones, when the server launched. Jamie and I had been great friends for a few years at that point, and had connections and friendships with a lot of the cast through my girlfriend and other mutuals before even joining the fandom. So a lot of the time, as much as I was active in the fandom side of things, I was also talking with the cast and my friends about the creator side of things (not to mention being a mod in the discord and in twitch chats), and had more of the cast I kind of knew reach out to me and become better friends because I was in the fandom. So I was sort of already a known presence and mutual when I was invited into the cast server as the VA for Deltavera, and after spending so long in that creative space (at least a few months) as a guest voice actor, not much really changed when I was invited as a player character, other than getting my own character. I was sort of already there in a way, I just… got to also be a cast member for season 3.

In terms of my favourite part of each?

From a fan perspective; I love the support the Fable fandom has for each other. There’s such an excitement and supportive atmosphere to the things everyone creates and the way everyone participates in lore together from the fandom side of things. Whether it’s people spending ours in vc’s puzzling out codes and languages together, or the way so many people came together to theorize, to even just how complimentary the fans are of each other’s work, there is such an aspect of community which is ironically not present in a lot of big fan communities I find.

And from the cast perspective it’s much the same. I love getting to see how people react to things I’ve made. I love people translating Telchin passages, or theorizing about little Ulysses lore drops, or make headcanons for him which I always adore reading. As someone who has wanted to be a writer since I was 5 years old, there is an excitement and happiness I genuinely can’t describe about seeing people react and engage with media I’ve made or had a hand in making, and I genuinely get emotional about it a lot of the time. I love being part of something which has a community in the way it does.

but in all seriousness, here's a list. this isn't an install order nor does it list all requirements for mods, but it does have all the mods I can't live without or have used before and enjoy. read mod descriptions closely, watch for compatibility sections, and you'll be fine. I won't really mention cosmetics beyond listing some devs (including myself, to be transparent) who focus on that kind of thing, because this list will get even longer and cosmetics tend to be more on a case-by-case basis. I also won't list texture mods because I don't use them.

this is also not exhaustive and I will definitely forget some lol. browse nexus, there's definitely lots of things I probably looked over/missed.

also, do not use synth's guide, period. it's now unsupported and I'm tired of troubleshooting it on the main modding server.

Here is your reminder that LioConvoy has done the following abhorrent behaviors:

Doxxed Minors among his group the Senate and reached out to their family members and in one case made a false claim to a 15 year old's school that the child was a potential school shooter in an attempt to ruin the 15 year old's life. Considering Lio lives in America and is aware of the social and political climate, this could have also potentially lead to the 15 year old being shot and/or killed if a swat team had been called instead. This was done because the 15 year old disrespected LioConvoy in a call.

Verbally harassed an autistic, mentally disabled woman with brain damage so severe she has a handler and the mental capacity of a child. For 4+ Hours in one call. He did this over MULTIPLE calls on discord. Why? Because this woman, Rosa, did not ban a potential child predator from a Discord Server she was a Mod in that DID NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO BAN PEOPLE. (Note: I am aware Rosa has done things that certainly deserve to be called out for. But due to her medical history, mental capacity, and the fact Lio straight up threatened to call Rosa's mother and have Rosa thrown on the streets in a call HE STILL HAS UP IN HIS CHANNEL I do not think any of his abhorrent bullying of her is acceptable. Nor the Non Apology he gave)

Allegedly abused at least one of the 'Adopted Children' he brought into his home when said individual (who was a legal adult during the entire thing) was going through a rough patch in their life.

Potentially had an emotional affair with a much younger woman to the point his wife showed concern and Lio, allegedly, threatened divorce over it. (of note: this young woman, Hopeless Peaches, may or may not have transitioned and detransitioned since then. Reports are a bit confusing and Im not keeping up with it so if anyone can clarify I'd be thankful)

Due to his lack of research into groups like RAINN, he made the suggestion to tell a MINOR to set up a camera to potentially record a Sexual Assault attempt instead of any other route to help said minor. To my knowledge, this suggestion was not followed up on or actually suggested to the minor, but was shot around the adults in the Senate during a call.

When he discovered that a victim of grooming had come in contact with and was once again talking to their groomer, Lio verbally abused them in a call and threatened his entire Mod Team on Discord to also get them to verbally abuse said victim for doing so, instead of offering any help to the victim.

In recently revealed videos he has used homophobic jokes in response to an individual trolling him and also joined in on a joke about sexually assaulting a victim of sexual assault. The reason for the SA joke? Because the person trolling Lio was a fan of theirs.

More currently he has begun defaulting to accuse anyone who speaks out against him or even remotely negatively concerning his past behavior as a potential Child Predator or Zoophile, with zero evidence to back up these claims.

What is a zine? A zine is a small book created and distributed by fans on a particular subject that they really care about, for other fans. They usually contain art and writing, and many come with fan-made merchandise sold in bundles of various sizes. In this case, this zine is themed around the character Apollo Justice and his journey as a trans-man!

Why 18+ only for contributors? While the zine itself will be SFW, the topic of gender transition cannot be completely severed from discussions of anatomy and sexuality. This can make it awkward and tricky to have minors in the Discord where discussions about these topics could pop up.

Are ships allowed? Shipping will be allowed as long as the focus on your piece is Apollo and his relationship to transmasculinity. Some ships may not be allowed, and are up to the Mods’ discretion.

Are AU’s allowed? AU’s within the universe of Ace Attorney, such as characters meeting at different points or canonically dead characters staying alive, will be up to Mod approval during the pitching process. AU’s like a crossover with another property, superhero/sci-fi, etc. will not be accepted.

What kind of trans headcanons are allowed in the zine? Transmasculine headcanons can come in many flavors, and all are welcome! The point of this zine is to celebrate Apollo’s journey of self discovery, where his destination is the man we meet in the series.

Will this zine include spoilers? This zine will contain spoilers for all games Apollo Justice is present for, including AA5, AA6, and the Seven Year Gap of AA4.

Can we explore moments outside of canon? Contributors will have the chance to explore the moments in Apollo’s life in the gaps we don’t get to see between the canon, like his life growing up during the 7YG, or even post canon.

Can I apply for multiple roles? You can apply for as many as you’d like, but you will only be selected for one within the zine. There may be exceptions to this, such as a page artist also being a merch artist, or tasked with making small supplementary social media art depending on the number of applicants.

What are the rules on AI art and writing? As stated previously, unless you own all of the training data the AI used, any and all AI writing or art is strictly prohibited from this zine.

"Recovering Radqueer" using transabled and transharm

Anonymous sent: I'm a "recovering radqueer" but I still use transIDs, even the "harmful" ones like transabled and transharmed/ful. They're the only words that meaningfully describe my experience. The anti-transition stance of Dissomei just doesn't work for me when I fully intend to remove an eye and I know nobody in that community would approve. I want to get away from the radqueer community but they are the only ones who will accept me. Every anti-radqueer blog I talk to just spits slurs and tells me to kill myself over my identity. Do you have any advice? Other labels that aren't anti-transition? Blogs that are pro-transID but anti radqueer that I can interact with to separate myself from all the abusers in the RQC?

Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that you've been told to kill yourself. I don't believe anyone deserves that and that's not fair to you.

I can absolutely understand wanting to still use transIDs, and the reasons you gave definitely are common. It sounds like you have some serious intentions, and while obviously I don't want anyone to harm themselves in general, I do also acknowledge that serious dysphoria makes it feel unavoidable. It reminds me a lot, in fact, of people with BID who have performed self amputation. At the end of the day, everyone deserves a chance to be happy - so don't worry, no judgement on that end.

Whether or not your wants/needs are understood by others, it’s important to honor that you’re experiencing something very real that makes you feel connected to these identities. The language you use to describe your experience doesn’t have to come from a bigoted/harmful place. It does suck, though, when it feels like there aren't exactly the right words to describe your identity. :(

Identity-wise:

Some people do genuinely use "transabled" in a 100% good-faith, non-radqueer-associated way. As far as I'm aware, this originated in the BID community, so if it's possible you may fit that disorder's criteria, you could switch to identifying as that. A 100% good-faith, non-radqueer-associated way transabled person. There's even a pride flag for this by antiradqueer if you like.

I recently heard of the term "dysfirming" to be a substitute for "transitioning" that applies to some atypical dysphoria-influenced identities. I don't know if this would be a helpful term?

I would suggest looking into communities focused on body mods, body autonomy, trauma recovery, and identity exploration. Find forums, Discords, Subreddits, etc, and see if it's a space you can vibe with. I think you could potentially find some people who think similarly to you. If you want me to specifically look and link you to some places, feel free to send another ask.

Dissomei as a term actually isn't anti transition! You can see a couple of quotes from the creator on this page, and one mentions that even amputations are accepted. Of course, it'll always be up to you what term you want to use.

Find a therapist if you haven't already. I know, you've probably heard "get therapy!!!" a lot, haha, but I don't mean "get into therapy so they can make you stop identifying the way that you do". A truly good therapist would be someone you can trust to talk about how you feel and that includes being transID. And they could also direct you to any local IRL groups that might be good places to hang out!
