I really love the idea of romanticising life but not in a way perceived on social media where it all feels like a compulsion of looking cute, clicking cute pictures and loving things. Honestly romanticising doesn't mean any of that, it's not about loving things forcefully but about appreciating things. It's about finding beauty in the chaos and celebrating it instead of waiting for a perfect moment or a perfect place. The idea of romanticising life is more about finding moments of peace in your daily life instead of wishing to escape your life. It could be you just drinking a cup of coffee on a morning but without any anxiety in your gut, it could be the colourful sky at the time of sunset, it could be you journaling in your cute diary, it could be the whispers of gentle breeze, it could be a mere look at the sky. Romanticism saves people by actually filling people up with so much of gratitude for everything and everyone.

No matter how many friends you have because at the end of the day all you need is a listener. Someone who listens to you, someone who listens to your endless rants, someone who listens to you even if they have no knowledge about the topic you are talking about, someone who listens to you not to reply but just to listen and to understand you. You know it's a basic human need to have someone who listens to you and validates you. And I find it very cute when someone listens to you talk about the same thing for the millionth time without looking disinterested.

We call ourselves humans but we tend to run away from the very thing that makes us human, which is our feelings. We often forget that our feelings are a part of us. For the longest time even I thought having feelings was embarrassing. And I know I'm not the only, one a lot of people still think like that. People think it's cool to desensitize themselves but honestly it's pitiful. You are not cool you are just pathetic for not being able to express your feelings. And I think that's where art comes in, as a way for you to express yourself, as a way to comfort you, as a way to make you feel less lonely and more humane, which is the beauty of art. So, I think art is something that can keep humanity alive.

I think the best thing that our generation has normalised is having "online friends" . The bond created with these people is not based on their looks or their status but on the basis of their likes, their personalities, their favourite fandoms and their interests. You might have never shook hands or hugged them but still you are more comfortable telling them about your stupid mistakes and stupid jokes. The best thing about these friends is you don't have to meet them regularly to keep your friendship alive. And it's also the worst part not getting to meet them regularly or even once a week or once a month. From meeting them in the comment section of a meme to listening to their rants to updating them about our lives, online friends become our forever friends. It's a different kind of friendship but it's the cutest no pressure of any sort just two people sharing bits and pieces of their lives with each other and supporting each other.

You probably don't believe this but there are a lot of people who silently adore and admire you. Who silently wish they could have your eyes, who silently love your hair, who silently like your smile, who silently desire to be as kind as you, who silently admire the light you bring along, who silently adore the way you talk and the way you think. They might shy away from saying this to you but the universe knows. Universe have heard things you haven't. And that's why universe has been kind to you because you have been kind to it's creations.

We put so much stress on love at first sight but we don't talk much about " best friends at first meet ". Meeting someone for the first time and clicking with them so naturally that it feels like you guys have been best friends your whole life. Mere seconds ago you were just strangers but then you talked a little and discovered how guys have same pov's about a lot of stuff, and how you guys are actually like the best friends duo from your your favourite sitcoms or movies. And then all the awkwardness just fades away as if it was never there. These are the purest friendships where you didn't have to pretend to be someone else to become friends. Such friendships make you feel like you have come home.

There are so many languages and so many words to describe our feelings and emotions but sometimes no language can convey what small gestures can. Leaving the last bite for them because they always want it, reading their favourite book or watching their favourite movie just so you guys could talk about it, leaving them notes just to remind how pretty they looked while they were busy doing something, doing their least favourite chore for them because they don't like doing it, making playlists for them. It all says I love you without actually saying I love you. I think it's beautiful conveying your feelings and emotions without using words because sometimes words are just words.

Humans are the only creatures who know how to communicate yet we fail miserably at expressing ourselves. We often try to run away from our emotions and if we can't then we try to hide them. So we don't do things we like, we don't say what we feel, after writing the whole paragraph about our emotions we delete it and send a word reply, we don't create more art, we don't hear our favourite songs just because they reminds us of someone or the feeling someone gave us, we don't write enough, we don't appreciate the sunshine that greets us every morning and we don't talk to the stars and the moon who are our forever companions.

You know one of the best feelings is to be someone's favourite person. And I'm not just saying it romantically but also platonically. It's so cute how proudly they tell people that you are their favourite person. Out of so many billion people only you get to be their favourite person. Because only your company brings them comfort, you get to be the reason of their happiness. And the thing that gets me is you don't have to do anything except being yourself, all you have to offer is your presence. You being there for them is more than enough.
