Oswald isn't the type of guy who easily opens up, but losing his loved one, Ortensia, he got extremely depressed, feeling like he had nobody, yet an complete stranger, y/n unexpectedly decided to help him and care for him,

He fought the idea of having your help first, avoiding you and even sometimes being kinda rude, just to be left alone, but it was only matter of time he would open up for y/n, and even crying while venting in front of you

After a few months, already more than a year he felt way better, healing from the pain of losing Ortensia, and slowly feeling something towards y/n, something he didn't understand yet, but God he felt like he was in heaven everytime he was near you

Months keep passing, and his feelings kept growing, and he didn't hide it yet not fully, after all, he avoided flirting with you

His way of showing affection towards you during the time he was too afraid of confessing, was spoiling you, did you liked that plushie you two saw in a store while hanging out? He will get on his way to buy it for you.

Not to mention how protective he could be and sometimes even being jealous of others around you

Oswald felt kinda guilty for already falling in love after only a year and a few months after losing Ortensia thanfully that man had a few good friends that supported him moving on and confessing his love

And so he did, it was almost becoming two years after you and the lucky rabbit meet, he walked the way to your home and knocked at the door, when you opened it, there it was, Oswald the lucky rabbit, or should I say.. Your lucky rabbit, was I front of you with an big bouquet of (insert favorite flowers) all red from blushing and nervous, politely asking to go on a date with you

I made his overalls have patchwork referencing his many shorts colors, gave him MEKANIK goggles, and made his head fur more geometric.

Also his fur is a dark blue but idk if you can spot it without the highlights

I tried a bit of a minimalistic approach to this Oswald piece and I’m gonna be honest…I’m not a fan. I think minimalism is just not my thing, though I can definitely appreciate it. I just have the issue where I look at this and I want to add more and more, but I’ll practice self control by keeping it this way. I think it’s good to occasionally create things that are not your style or out of your comfort zone, just to have the experience.
