Is clovers memories discontinued
ohh god. Not exactly. but it is in indeterminate hiatus. ughhhgh
Tumblr media
main issue is its meant to represent a handful of headcannons that i don’t personally subscribe to as much as i used to,,aa,aaaaaaand thats fine. my takes on characters tend to evolve over time and thats pretty normal.especially when the character is new in my mind like clover was at the time. but . ahdhhfhgngngngngnjgjgjgjjghghghghghgfhmgfjh, gdfs, jhbsdfkhjdskbfjhlkjhlsdbflkjhdfbsljhksdfbkhljsbrglknjIT MAKES IT HARDER FOR ME WORK ON IT, ESPECIALLY WHEN MY COMICS MAKE ME FEEL SHY AND DUMBBB. RRRRARGHHGHHGHFJFJI know i dont owe anyone anything and I made those comics primarily for my own entertainment and no one else’s BUTSTILL IMSORRY. “i got over ambitious and also married myself to ideas prematurely and also this happens a lot” award
Just know a big part of me refuses to drop the comic and its still pretty important to me. However i proceed is just gonna have to be a bit experimental. ive been debating releasing the rest of the pages and just letting the color palette be way more limited, or skipping to the parts that still excite me the most (they dont really require much context anyhow). worst comes to worst i will share the unfinished scraps of the next few pages explain whatever. but im giving myself the leisure of time. thats all i type this before sleepinggnight be niceee

Hi, miry! I hope you're doing well. :) Anon comment, because I'm shy lol.
I know a lot of people are saying it, but I just have to add mine to the mix: I absolutely LOVE your pain-sharing AU. The amount of whump potential it has, the amount of fun you can have with it, and the lighter moments you can explore within it are insane, lol.
For the people in the back: PAIN-sharing au, NOT wound sharing.
Also, just wanted to let you know that it's always a joy seeing your art on my feed. I love your art style and the detail you put in every single one of your drawings. I could literally spot your art style from a mile away, it's so distinct (imo). I find myself coming back to it again and again.
Question, which you don't have to answer if you don't want to: I've seen some people headcanon that teleporting in botw/totk is an uncomfortable or even painful experience, because of the whole disintegrating into strings and putting Wild back together thing. What are your thoughts on that? Personally, I'm not sure yet. I think it might be a little bit like Twilight, where he's used to the pain of transforming into a wolf.
Keep up the amazing work!
Aaah hey anon! 🥹💖
And I'm seriously so glad people liked it, cause it was rotating in my brain for a while and I needed to transfer my brainrot to others hehe even if it means I get asked about the wound sharing a thousand times 🙈 I'm still so thankful over the reception it's gotten! All of you are great, 100000/10 fandom!
And AAAAH 🥹💖 you're so sweet, seriously!! I struggled with my art for so long, it really makes my day whenever people tell me they like it and think it's unique 🥹💖 it inspires me to keep going!!!
And oooh, yes! Good question!
I feel that wild's slate teleportation thing would be more uncomfortable and confusing than painful? Like that's kinda my headcanon at least 🤔 like it makes them nauseous and it's disorienting, but I wouldn't particularly see it as painful (cause like, rip wild if it is cause I used it SO MUCH in botw/totk lmao)
I feel like twilight would be familiar with the feeling since midna's twili transportation thing also disintegrates him into small particles lol like twilight would vibe with using the slate thing the most of the links (not counting wild, obviously)
Though I can see them getting to wind's hyrule and transport via cyclones and then suddenly, wild's slate isn't as bad anymore lmao

AU where Sirius didn't go to Azkaban, so he gets to help Remus during the full moon pt 1.
*warning: mentions of body alteration, werewolf shifting, nausea and others.*
The moon was almost full now, its silvery glow spilling through the small window, casting long shadows across the room. Remus could feel it – every nerve in his body was screaming with the approach of the transformation. His skin tingled, and nausea coiled tightly in his gut, making him dizzy. It was always like this, like some creeping sickness that started days before the actual full moon, building up slowly until it became unbearable.
Remus tried to focus on his breathing, gripping the edge of the bed until his knuckles turned white. Sweat gathered at his temples, his muscles tensing under his skin as if they knew what was coming. It was going to be worse tonight. He could already feel the way his body ached more than usual, his joints throbbing as if they were preparing to tear themselves apart. Sirius was nearby, lounging in the armchair next to the fire, his eyes flicking to Remus every few minutes, filled with concern but staying quiet. He knew better than to say anything, not when it was this close. They had done this dance too many times to count, but Sirius was always there. Always. That fact had been one of the few constants in Remus’ life, and tonight was no different.
The minutes dragged, and Remus’ head swam. He could feel his heartbeat thudding in his chest, quicker now, erratic. His hands shook, and when he tried to stand, the room spun violently, his vision blurring. “Sirius—” His voice was barely more than a rasp, thick with strain. In an instant, Sirius was there, a steadying hand on Remus’ arm, his face inches from his. “I’m here, love.” The tenderness in his voice was almost enough to break through the haze of pain. Almost. Remus gritted his teeth as the first sharp wave of agony hit, his knees buckling under the force of it. He sank to the floor, clutching his sides as the transformation began. His bones cracked loudly, the sound sickening in the quiet of the room, and he let out a guttural groan, fighting the scream that wanted to escape his throat. His spine stretched, pulling his body forward, twisting it into a new shape. His skin burned as coarse fur sprouted along his arms and back, his jaw elongating painfully into a snout. “Fuck…” Sirius cursed under his breath, watching helplessly as Remus writhed on the floor, muscles rippling and contorting. It never got easier. Remus' hands dug into the wooden floor, his fingernails splintering as they extended into claws. His senses were overwhelmed by the change — the nausea hitting him full force as his ribs cracked, expanding, his entire body growing larger, more beast than human now. He growled, his breathing was erratic, every inhale sharp and painful as the wolf fought to take control. Sirius stayed close, but kept just enough distance, crouching down at Remus' side. He knew the drill. Wait. Don’t touch. Not until the wolf had settled. Remus, or what was left of him beneath the wolf, could sense Sirius even through the haze of red-hot pain and rage. Somewhere, in the back of his mind, there was still that part of him that loved Sirius, that didn’t want to hurt him, no matter how much the wolf wanted to lash out, to sink its teeth into something. His yellow eyes darted to Sirius, wild and dangerous, but recognition flickered for just a second. Sirius. “You’re still in there, Moony,” Sirius whispered, his voice steady, grounding. “I’m right here. You’re not alone.”

Some (late) holiday photos of the boye~!
#cats#holiday#OUGHH....... barely could even get these edited and posted... my mysterious sickness flare up has been sooo bad the past few#days.. I didn't even go to the usual obligatory family christmas I was supposed to attend (!!! health issue/medical mention in tags below)#My stomach issues basically put me in a constant state of uncontrollable shivering/body shaking + nausea + sometimes rapid heart#rate. and when it happens at night that makes it like.. nearly impossible to sleep when you're violently shaking + you can feel your heart#so strong + you keep having to run to the bathroom every 5 minute to cough and gag#and throw up and so on and so forth. etc. So I went like 40 hours without any sleep almost for christmas eve and all of christmas day#last night I finally got maybe 2 hours of sleep in between the nausea and shaking and stuff. and then today I was able to get a few#hours of sleep in the afternoon. Today I tried taking an anxiety mediciation a doctor gave me in case it was anxiety related (it's apparent#ly used to relax people and works in the moment. rather than like Anxiety Mediciation that you have to take for weeks to see any effect#because I think this isn't actually acting on your brain chemistry it's judt like..a mild sedative or something.) but all that did was make#me dizzy and sweaty lol. I;m glad I slept a little but I'm just still frustrated that I don't feel normal. I started having these#'episodes' (with the stomach issues + shaking + heartrate + nausea etc.) like at the end of october. And usually it will happen for like a#few hours at a time. or i'll lose sleep one day and then be fine the next. but this has been like nearly 3 days of feeling weird. so is#getting kind of annoying... It's funny too because I was so so productive like.. literally the few days before. I was feeling much better#and I was working on my game and blah blah. But then.. random issue flare up out of nowhere of course.. yaayy.... happy holidays to meee lo#I did at least see two random ducks outside of my window in the yard area for christmas. and havent seen them since. So it's like.. hrmm..#pacing around my room nauseous and shakings and etc. but at least... hello.. two little ducks placed there just for me :3c#Now I get anxiety every night which I'm sure doesn't help/could exacerbate whatever underlying genuinely physical issues exist. But after#like 2 nights of 'I spend the night sleepless and incredibly uncomfortable just sitting in the dark sick' then bedtime is like.. dread...#I even was trying slapping myself in the face in desperation to see if somehow that could shock my body out of whatever the hell it was#doing lol.. up at 3am holding ice cubes in my hand and hitting myself in the head and crying from exhaustion and thowing up.. literally#ridiculous cartoon character feeling... AAANYWAY!!! At least I have baby boy pictures. and I have lots of doctors appointments so hopefully#whatever the issue is can be sorted out at some point. I don't know much about ibs but hopefully maybe something like that that I could pos#ibly take medication for and not something more seirous or anything. Maybe there's a food I'm secretly intolerant to or whatever.#And I did at least post a sims holday video actually timed for the holidays so that's something. I havent been productive really latrely#though obviously.. I can't even play games or small tasks when in that state since I'm just SO physically uncomfortable. Nausea and heart#stuff are THE hardest physical sensations to ignore.. BUT yeah... hoping I shall sleep at all tonight. hopeing to get like 3 productive#things done.. at some point... at least SOMETHING... lol..... *** *** ***

A/N: This is for the Anon who asked for someone getting too high and feeling sick, and having the room spinning. I have a bunch of Logan asks, and the rest of this is something I've been thinking about, so here you go. Don't hate me, please.
C/W: drug use and unintended drug use (edible and weed cookies)
The house party was big and crowded and felt kind of like a fraternity, which meant that all the 20-somethings there were having a blast reliving their college years.  It seemed like everyone knew someone going, so even though Logan and Gabe and Rory and Noa all arrived together, they probably weren’t going to stay together all night.
Logan was bouncing up and down like a little kid, and Gabe gave her an amused grin.  “Feeling it, then?”  Logan had taken her first-ever edible an hour earlier.
She crinkled her nose in a way Gabe found adorable.  “I . . . think so? Everything seems kind of shiny.”  She pointed at the lights at the front of the house.  “Like those.  They’re dancing!”  She giggled and grabbed Gabe’s arm.  He twirled her around until she squealed.
“You only took 2.5 mg so things should stay shiny and happy for a couple more hours,” he said, taking her hand and threading their fingers together.  “And I took 10, so I’ll be enjoying myself all night.”  He leaned in and kissed her head as the four of them walked up the pathway to the front door.
“What did you take?” she asked Noa.  Even though she didn’t say it out loud, she’d  been feeling a little bit nervous, not knowing how the edible would affect her. Now that earlier anxiety seemed to be melting away on a wave of joy.
“5 milligrams,” said Noa, “which is usually plenty.  Makes me feel floaty and high without it feeling like too much, you know?”
Logan did not know, but she nodded anyway.  Everything felt kind of easy right now.  “Should I take more, then?” she asked Gabe.  “Like another 2.5?”
“If you want,” he nodded. “But no more, for your first time.  Here.” He took her hand and dropped a wrapped packet into her palm.  “If you decide later, you’ll have it.”
Inside the house was an enormous table of vodka-spiked Jell-o shots and Rory insisted they all do one before he and Noa disappeared into the crowd.
Gabe handed her a second one.  “Cheers!” he said with a grin, clinking his little plastic cup to hers. That seemed awfully funny to Logan.  She slurped down the shot and leaned in to Gabe for a kiss.  “You had red and I had blue; Iet’s make purple!” she giggled.
He chuckled back and was in the middle of kissing her when someone grabbed his arm and pulled him into a game of beer pong.  “Come cheer me on!” he said, tugging Logan with him.  She laughed.
“I can wipe the floor with you in beer pong, Calder.”  She nudged him with her hip, knowing how much he liked it when she used his last name to flirt - or in bed.  Indeed, his eyes grew a little wider and he almost dropped the paddle he’d just picked up.  ‘Watch it now,” she warned, grabbing it out of his hand and spinning it neatly.  “Oooh, twirly.”
Gabe picked her up and spun her around like he had outside.  “I’ll show you twirly,” he said, grinning.
“Yo, Gabe!  Are you going to play or flirt with your girlfriend?”  One of Gabe's soccer teammates started flicking beer at them.
He put Logan down and then tried to jump out of the way when she swiped at him with the paddle.  She managed to smack him lightly on the ass and he gave a fake pout.   “Not fair, I’m a lot more high than you; my reflexes are slower.”  He managed to grab the paddle from her anyway.
“Well then, I’ll just have to catch up.”  Logan opened up the second edible and popped it in her mouth.  .
“Here. Play for me.”  One of the other soccer players shoved a paddle into her hand.  Mateo something, she thought.  He grimaced.  “My girlfriend’s off puking, apparently.”
“Already?  Party’s barely started. “ Gabe did a couple of deep knee bends and stretched his arms behind his back as if he was getting ready to run a marathon and not play a game of beer pong.  The guy shrugged.
“Pregamed a little too hard, I guess.  Her friends told me I’ve got to take her home.”  He rolled his eyes.  “I’ll drop her off and be back as soon as I can.”
Personally Logan thought that was kind of a jerk move, but she wasn’t so high that she’d just blurt something like that out. Instead she took her place on the other side of the ping pong table and stared down her boyfriend, rocking back and forth on the balls of her feet.  “You’re going down, Calder.”
He gave her an aggrieved look.  “I’m getting you high all the time from now on.  I mean, you’re killing me here, but it’s very cute.”  He tilted his head, considering her, a sort of silly, private expression on his face.
Despite herself, Logan blushed; Gabe wasn’t usually that verbal about how he felt.   “Well, I think you’re very cute.  And shiny.”  She cocked her head sideways.  “But I’m still going to beat you.”  She bounced the ping pong ball on the table.  “Are you ready?”
They played four games, each winning two, before Logan got called away by the arrival of a couple of her friends and Gabe decided he had to go pee.  Before they separated, he grabbed her for one more twirl. “Rematch later?  Winner takes all?”
Logan had to find her bearings before she answered.  “You’re . . . urp . . . on,” she managed after a small burp.  Two beers had probably been enough. She cleared her throat.  “Come find me.”
Gabe didn’t seem to have heard that last bit; as soon as he’d stopped spinning her he’d been swallowed up by the crowd.  Logan put her hand on her stomach.  Her head felt pleasantly floaty but her stomach was a little sloshy from all the beer, so on her way to her friends she grabbed a couple of bite-sized cookies from a big table of desserts that was right next to all the Jell-O shots. The rainbow colors were pretty but she definitely didn’t want any more of those right now.
“Logan, come on, they’ve got karaoke!!”  One of her friends grabbed her away from the dessert table and in the direction of the microphone set up.  On the way she saw Gabe talking animatedly to a couple of his friends and stopped walking to watch.  Her boyfriend was just so damn cute.  And he loved her, which was awesome.
“Hey, earth to Logan.”  Her friend Annie waved a hand in front of her face.  “You’re staring.”  Her friend gave her an amused look.  “I know your boyfriend’s great, but drooling on the carpet is a definite party foul.”
Logan blushed.  “S-s-sorry,” she stuttered sheepishly.  “I’m high.”
Annie snorted.  “Aren’t we all?”  She pulled Logan’s hand again. “Now come sing.”
Logan secretly loved karaoke, and tonight, damn, she was working it.  From Dancing Queen to Love Story to I Want it That Way, she was pretty sure her voice had never sounded better or her friends been funnier or the air she was breathing feel more electric.  They started a conga line to Hot Hot Hot and she could barely put one foot in front of the other, she was laughing so hard.  Someone had turned down the overhead lights and turned on a rainbow disco ball and the colors swirled crazily all over.  Logan couldn’t keep her eyes off of them.
They danced into another room and she saw Gabe, deep into some sort of video/drinking game with a bunch of guys, all spread out on a huge sofa.  It looked like an intense competition of some sort.  Everyone there was laughing though, and the sofa looked comfy.  She tried to catch her boyfriend’s eye, to see if he was ready for the rematch, or maybe a walk outside, but he didn’t look up, even when she called his name.
It was too loud for him to hear, and then the line kept moving and the lights kept spinning and a few seconds later they were back in the kitchen, where Logan grabbed another cookie because there was still too much liquid in her stomach.
One of her friends offered her another Jell-O shot but she waved it away.  “Is there water?”
No one could seem to find any water, but maybe that was because they were all cracking up and dancing around the kitchen.  Logan tried to dance too, but now her head seemed to be spinning at a different speed from her body.  The lights were everywhere, twirling crazily, and it was making her dizzy.  A girl she didn’t recognize pulled her into a looped-arm dance and spun her around and when she let go, Logan stumbled into the side of the big granite island.
“Ooops,” she said, when a couple of the cookies fell on the ground.  She watched them tumble, thinking she needed to do something about them, but her head felt like it was disconnected from the rest of her and her arms didn’t want to work.  “Gett’um.”
“Watch it, don’t waste the weed!”  A guy reached down and scooped up the cookies, frowned at them for a minute, and then shrugged and popped one in his mouth.  “Needed to re-up,” he said through the mouthful.  “A two milligram treat.”
Logan tried to steady herself by grabbing onto the countertop.  “Wha-what?” she asked. Her tongue felt thick in her mouth.  “Two?
The guy nodded cheerfully and gestured expansively at the baked goods.  “My best batch yet.  Weed cookies and weed brownies and weed mini-muffins.  Two milligrams per bite.”  He peered into her eyes.  “Looks like you’ve enjoyed a couple; was the flavor right?”
Logan stared at him dumbly.  “Yeah.”  The room was spinning wildly around her now, or was that just the lights?  Her stomach rolled uncomfortably.  “‘Scuse me,” she mumbled, turning towards her friends.
Except they weren’t there anymore.  There were people in the kitchen, but Logan didn’t recognize anyone and trying to focus on the faces made her even more dizzy.  She needed to sit down, but there were no chairs in here. Where had all the chairs gone?  And her friends?  What if they’d left her?  She took a few steps forward. Maybe there were chairs in the next room.
God, she wanted to sit down, but everywhere she looked there were too many rainbow lights and nowhere to sit.  She grabbed a random arm.
“Sit?” she asked.  The person started laughing and shook her off.  Why wouldn’t they help? A thrum of panic rose in her chest.
She needed Gabriel.  Gabriel would know how to make the room stop spinning and her stomach feel less queasy and her breathing slow down.  And didn’t he have a sofa too?  Logan was sure she’d seen him on a sofa.  But she didn’t know where he was, hell, she didn’t even know how to get out of this room.  Her heart felt like it was beating out of her chest, the crazy thump thump thump making her belly toss in a nauseating motion.  She grabbed another arm.
“G-g-gabe?” She slurred.  “Need Gabe.”  This voice laughed too, but didn’t pull away.
“You’re his girlfriend, right?  Damn, how much have you had?”  The arm pushed her against a wall.  “Stay here, I’ll go find him.”
Logan couldn’t have moved even if she wanted to,  Everywhere was confusing and crowded, and the feeling of it being too much was starting to overpower her.  She needed Gabriel.
And then he was there, and he was spinning crazily too, and his face was laughing, but his voice was not.  “What is it, Lo?  I’m about to be in the finals.”
She had no idea what that meant.  His arm was in front of her and she tried to grab it, but missed the first time.  “Spinning,” she managed to say.
Gabe laughed again.  “You’re high; it’s supposed to spin.  Look.”  He twirled around, arms out.  “We’re all spinning; it’s great.”  He looked around.  “Where’d your friends go?”
“Don’ know.”  Logan started to shake her head, but it made the room tilt, so she stopped.  “Can we leave?”
“Now? I’m about to be in the finals!  Coops and Mags bet me $100; I can’t leave now.”  He grabbed her arm.  “Go get some water and find your friends; you’ll be fine.”  He was talking to someone else now.  “She only had five; she’s not that high.”  He was laughing again, and started to turn away.
“No . . . wait . . . “  This time she managed to grab his arm.  “I had . . . cookies.”  She didn’t know how to explain more.  For some reason, this made Gabe laugh even harder.
“Oh man, you did?  How many?  No wonder you’re a mess.”  He gave her a little push.  “There, go sit outside and get some air; you’ll be fine.”
Logan didn’t know how to tell him he was wrong, that everything was wrong.  Dimly she heard someone ask didn’t she know not to drink too? but she couldn’t tell who was speaking. It felt like everyone around her was angry and she couldn’t understand why.  Panic rose in her chest along with a nauseating pressure.  She tried again.
“Gabe, can we go? I wanna go.”
Now he looked annoyed.  “I tole you; Imabout to win a hundred dollars.” He gave her another little push.  “Don’ be all clingy and annoying.”
Logan couldn’t breathe.  “I’m not . . . “ she tried to say, but her mouth didn’t seem to be working.  The room tilted sideways and she reached out and grabbed a fistful of Gabe’s shirt.  He shook her off with a rough “I said, don’t.”
He was speaking to someone else.  “Can you take her t’ find’er friends?  They’re gonna start without me.”  He wasn’t looking at Logan anymore, and he was laughing with someone else.  “Off to the races!” he yelled, and leaped away.  Or maybe he didn’t leap, maybe that was the floor bending; Logan couldn’t tell anymore.  A hand tightened on her shoulder.
“C’mon.”  It tried to push her through the crowd but the floor was swaying more and making her feel sick.  She stumbled again, into another body.
“Logan?  Oh sweetheart, was five too much for you?”  A familiar voice and softer hand were there.  Logan closed her eyes and leaned into it.
The other voice spoke.  “You know her?  She apparently ate some of the weed cookies.  Drank too.  Her boyfriend asked me to find her friends; is that you?”
“Yeah, I got her.”  The softer voice - Noa’s - sounded a lot angrier now.  Logan swallowed down more panic.  What if Noa left her too?  “Did . . . her boyfriend see her like this?”
“Yeah; he’s wasted too; wanted to get back to the Mario Kart drinking frenzy in the media room.  Me too, actually.  You got her?”
The words were washing over Logan like the lights were spinning.  The floor tilted again.  “Dizzy,” she mumbled.  “Too loud.”
“Too much THC will do that.  Do you remember how many cookies you ate?”  Noa was much better at leading; Logan swayed but didn’t seem to be falling against people anymore.
“Don’ know. Three’r four,” she said.  She wanted to ask Noa if it was true, if she really was annoying, but It was too crowded and loud, music and voices blasting from all sides.  Her breathing sped up.  She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to make it stop.
There was suddenly another set of hands on her other side.  “That’s right, almost there.  The stronger arms pulled her forward.  “And where the fuck’s your brother?”
Logan didn’t understand.  “He died,” she slurred, feeling completely off-balance.  “Charlie died.”  There was a sharp sound next to her ear, and then the deeper voice spoke again.
“Not Charlie, hon.  I know he died.  I mean Noa’s brother, Gabe.  Your boyfriend and my best friend, although I’m seriously questioning that right now.”
The pressure in Logan’s chest grew until it burst out as a weird half sob, half burp.  She shook her head.  “Wouldn’t come, wouldn’t leave.”  There were more tears now.  “I asked and asked.” She tried to catch her breath and it got caught in her throat, where the lump was.  “Said I was annoying.”
“Oh fuck.”  Logan had no idea who’d spoken.
“Yeah, well, he’s about to be really sorry he said that, wasted or not.”  The stronger arms were suddenly gone.  “You got her okay?  I’m finding Gabe.”
“Yep.  I think Logan and I will take a little walk and find a quiet place to sit.  There’s a park at the end of the block.”
“Love you.  I may kill your brother; hope that’s okay.”
“Just try not to leave any visible marks; Gabe’s got sensitive skin.”  There was a chuckle, and Logan twisted around.
“Gabe?” she asked, confused.
“Not here, sweetie, but Rory’s going to find him.  Can you walk down the stairs?”
They were outside, and the noise and lights and the tilting floor were suddenly gone.  Logan’s knees almost buckled.
“Whoa, hang on; can you walk a little more?”  Noa’s voice was quiet and calm and Logan latched onto that.  She was already too clingy and annoying; she couldn’t make Noa leave too.
“Yeah,” she breathed, stumbling a few more steps down the sidewalk.  It was rolling and buckling too; she had to walk carefully.
“Are you feeling anxious?”  Noa’s voice was still very calm; she didn’t sound angry.  Logan gave a shaky nod and put her hand on her chest.
“Heart . . . heart’s beating so fast,” she said, breathing out another sob. The streetlights were twinkling and it made her think of Gabe.   “He said I’m clingy!”  As much as it was a relief to be outside, it wasn’t helping Logan’s stomach at all.  She swallowed hard past the lump in her throat, but it just made her queasier.
“Yeah, well, he’s an idiot.  And not that it’s an excuse, but he’s with some of his college friends tonight, and apparently has regressed from all the progress you’ve gotten him to make as a boyfriend."  Noa suddenly put her hand on Logan’s shoulders and turned her to look her in the eye.  “You are not clingy, and not annoying, understand?”
Logan gulped down saliva.  She knew Noa wanted her to respond, but she needed to get her stomach under control first.  The sidewalk dipped and she couldn’t hold back a gag.
“Noa . . . I don’ feel well.”  Her stomach rolled again.
“Okay, that’s okay.  A little nauseous?  That can happen when you have too much. And you had a Jell-O shot too, didn’t you?”  They entered a little park and Logan almost moaned with relief when Noa settled her onto a bench.
“Two,” she said miserably.  “And . . .urp . . . beer pong.”  That she’d played with Gabe, and it felt like a million years ago.  “He thought I was cute then.  Oh god.”  She wanted to cry but she didn’t think she could without throwing up.  She leaned forward and buried her head in her hands.
Noa rubbed her back quietly for a few minutes.
“Trust me, he still thinks you’re cute,” she said finally.  Noa’s voice was angrier now, but the quiet of the park had helped Logan claw back a little more clarity and she knew it wasn’t directed at her.  Unfortunately sitting down outside was doing nothing for her nausea.  Her skin prickled with discomfort and she had to spit thick saliva on the ground.
“I wanna go home,” she groaned.  “I really don’t feel well.”  She turned her head to Noa, who was reading a text.  “Can you take me?”  It should have been Gabriel, but even if he’d magically appeared in front of them, Logan didn’t think she would want to talk to him right now.
Noa looked concerned.  “Of course; can you face an Uber?”  She gestured at her phone.  “Rory’s still with Gabe.”
Logan swallowed hard, thinking about what her boyfriend might be saying to Rory right now.  That he really did think she was annoying? That he was tired of having a girlfriend?  Her breathing sped up again.
“I . . . I need to throw up,” she said, and immediately leaned forward to retch.  Nothing came up, but prickly heat erupted across her skin.  Her stomach gurgled uncomfortably and she retched again.
“Your stomach will feel better if you get something up, but it’ll take a little longer for the other effects of the edibles to ease.”  Noa kept rubbing her back.  “Once you vomit, I’ll call an Uber, okay?”
“Okay,” Logan gasped.  Her stomach spasmed again, and this time she heaved up a mouthful of liquid, tinged blue from the Jell-O shots.  “Ugh, she groaned.”  The next retch was dry, but a few seconds later a stronger wave of dizzying nausea washed over her and she vomited up cookies and beer and a little bit of the dinner she’d eaten before the party.
Noa patted her back, and it was nice, but Logan had become used to Gabriel taking care of her when she was sick. And even though her despair at the way he’d acted was morphing into anger too, she couldn’t hold back a deeper sob.   And then she was crying and gasping, and choking up small mouthfuls of vomit, all at the same time.
“I’m . . . I’m sorry,” she slurred, spitting into the pile on the ground.  “This’is so gross.”
“Nothing I haven’t seen before.”  Noa’s hand stilled on her back.  “Feeling better?”
Logan wiped her hand across her mouth.  “Enough, although everything’s still kind of spinny.”  She carefully stood up.  “I think I’m okay to get home though.”
“I’m going with you.”  Noa spoke like it wasn’t even a question, and Logan was grateful.  “But . . .” she paused, frowning at her phone and then looking up at Logan.
She felt a thrum of dread.  “What is it?”  She braced herself to hear the worst.  Noa bit her lip.
“Gabe wants you to come over.  Rory got him home and he’s a little more sober now.  Not completely, but enough to know what an ass he was to you.”  Even while Noa was talking, Logan’s phone buzzed too.
G:  OMG I’m soooo sorry. Come over?  Rory said you’re with Noa. Please?”
Logan squeezed her eyes shut.  It would be easier to let Noa take her to Gabe’s, where Rory was.  And she did believe it when Gabe said he was sorry.  But . . . she still wasn’t feeling well and Gabe was still drunk or high or whatever, even if less than earlier.  And he’d still said what he said, and weren’t people more honest when drunk?
She took a deep breath. “I want to go home,” she said firmly.  “I . . . I’m sorry; I know he’s your brother and you want to be with Rory, but . . . I need some time to think.”  She grabbed Noa’s arm.  Will you tell Rory to tell him?”  Her phone buzzed again in her hand and without looking at it, she turned it off.  Noa gave her a sad smile.
“I’ll tell him.  And for what it’s worth, I think it’s the right thing to do,”
Logan grimaced.  “I hope so.”

Warmth at winter
Whumptober 2024, number 30: Recovery, Hospital bed
Summary: Time had very plentiful ways of helping his boys. And some of those diverse ways put his life into danger. One such situation happened during a very cold winter night…
CW: Overheating (sweating, dizziness, nausea, fainting, fatigue), worry, fear, panic, cursing
Notion: - Part of my Ranch Family AU, the Modern Linked Unvierse stories - Time has lost his right eye and has the scar over it but he does NOT yet have Fierce Deity's markings.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
It was the coldest winter Time had so far encountered. He wasn’t certain if he had had higher body temperature straight off after birth or if it was something the orphanage’s owners had caused. Either way, he was fully grateful of it. Yet, there was one bad thing that his situation caused.
The one eyed male couldn’t be certain of the temperature of his boys’ rooms. He couldn’t just put a thermometer into there to know unlike in the stables and Cucco house. Yet, at least in those places the animals could get warmth from each other if needed. Not to mention that Epona would definitely let him know if those places weren’t warm enough.
Yet, mostly the ranch’s owner was fine with his boys crashing in his room. He enjoyed of their company and loved to look after them. At first, when it had been one to few, he was actually capable of helping. Now, with seven of them, he couldn’t deny the fact of it being bit too much.
One by him was no trouble. There was more than enough of room to move away if the heat started to be too much. Two was still good. One to both side with the bed being wide enough to provide the space in case one started to be sweaty beneath the blanket. Three started to need actual getting away. Four persons around him began to make him feel tad trapped. It was still plausible of shifting the boys bit away without waking them up but still providing the needed warmth. With five the warmth rose quicker underneath the blanket than what he wanted to admit into. He needed to squirm out of the hold and pretty much sit on his pillow to let his own body temperature to cool down a bit. Six caused him to really gasp for air, fight to keep his movements careful enough so he wouldn’t wake up his boys and get out of the hold before already pulling his shirt off. Seven ended up being in such way that one to few of the boys woke up as he forced his way out of the hold while feeling sweaty, bit dizzy and slightly nauseous. Yet, he still was able to cool down and assure his boys of things being fine and that it just got bit too hot for him. He always returned to his earlier place, though. Yet, he didn’t go beneath the blanket anymore as he just laid over it to prevent getting too warm again. Eight…
Things had started easy and normally at that night. Each of Time’s boys as well as his older brother had been sleeping at their own rooms. He had tried to make sure everyone’s rooms were warm enough but, for a reason or another, his family just made their way into his room. Still, each of them knew they could come to wake him up or just take a place from the bed if they felt like it.
It started from Four. The shortest boy had woken up from a nightmare and felt in the need of company. While still half asleep, the youngster went into the first place he could think of: Time’s room. He just climbed up onto the bed and crawled over to his caretaker. Time, being light sleeper, woke up already into the opening of his door. He smiled fondly at his boy and just raised the blanket to let him into a hug.
Next to come over was Sky. Besides the shortest boy, he was another one whom easily got cold. The youngster yawned while clutching the stuffed bird toy before scrambling to the bed. Time carefully shifted so he wouldn’t awaken the earlier kid as he moved to his back. He wrapped his free arm around the nearly asleep being pilot-to-be and smiled as the youngster snuggled close to him.
Hyrule was bit surprise one to come over after all three had calmed down and the ranch’s owner was drifting back to sleep. Usually the last boy he had adopted went over to Legend’s room but sometimes, like on that night, he came over to Time’s. Maybe it was because the room was the warmest of the whole house or then just the different kind of feeling of safety he gave to his boys. Either way the kid already snuck beneath the blanket when he reached the bed and just crawled up to snuggle next to Sky and getting close to his caretaker while being between the two males.
Wild was another unexpected boy to come over. The master chef, as Time called him every now and then, loved to snuggle next to Twilight. Yet, the one eyed male knew he shared some similar situations with his third boy that the others couldn’t and hopefully never would. Nonetheless, the youngster stayed beneath the blanket while snuggling close to the one eyed male’s leg and holding tightly. Time wasn’t too happy of not seeing his boy so he checked on him by raising the blanket. At least that eased the excessive amount of heat for a moment.
It didn’t take long before Wind followed the boy whom had been brought to the Lon-Lon Ranch just about six months before him. Like Hyrule and Wild, he too snuck beneath the blanket as soon as he had a chance for it. The youngest youngster of Time’s family claimed the one eyed male’s other leg without second thought.
Time had a feeling that Legend had been tossing and turning in his own bed for a while before he finally decided to check on whom of his brothers had already claimed their caretaker. “Just get in. Almost everyone’s already here.” The ranch’s owner whispered quietly when his second boy stood bit uncertainly by his bed.
“Who’s missing?” Legend inquired while taking a place from Hyrule’s other side while being careful of lower being Wild. He kept Time as a pillow while wrapping his arms around the younger male in front of him. He yawned and snuggled close to Hyrule with a small smile on his face.
“Twilight and Wars.” Time answered quietly even though he wasn’t certain if his boy heard him anymore. Yet, Legend just gave almost unnoticeable nod of understanding. “Sleep well my boys.” The one eyed male whispered with a fond smile while closing his eye and just relaxing again.
Twilight came over quite soon after Legend had calmed down and fallen asleep. “You good?” He inquired after he noticed Time having opened his eye and looking at him.
“All’s fine.” Time replied while at the moment feeling calm and well. The fact of having raised the blanket for Legend and let some of the warmth out had eased thing off. He hoped it was enough for the rest of the night. “Come on, Cub. Take a place.” He half suggested, half requested.
The first adopted son of the ranch’s owner hesitated for a second before he nodded and moved to Four’s side. He didn’t go beneath the blanket as he hugged the shortest brother of his from behind. At the same time, unintentionally, he got the youngster to be much closer to their caretaker. And, sadly, getting the blanket tad tight from the given side. Yet, Time hoped they were close enough to the morning to worry about that.
Wars had woken up to the almost constant sound of walking at the hallway. He had lived in barracks and such for quite a while so it shouldn’t have been something to awaken him. Yet, the ranch was something he really wanted to protect and hence he needed to know whom was walking at there. He had learned to recognize the seven boys’ footsteps during the few past months he had so far spend at the Lon-Lon Ranch.
Once the last boy of his little brother had snuck into the one eyed male’s room, the ex-Captain finally got up from his bed and moved to Time’s doorway. “You look comfy like that, little brother.” He commented fondly.
“Why wouldn’t I be?” Time half queried while glancing at each of his boys and bit lifting the blanket too to check on the hidden ones. “I got my family right by me here.” He continued before grinning. “At least, I would have if you’d actually come over and take a place too.” He pointed out while giving something between a pout and puppy-dog-eyes to his older brother.
Wars chuckled softly and shook his head. “Alright, I get the hint.” He mused while taking a place from behind Sky. Like Twilight, he didn’t go beneath the blanket. He just snuggled close to his little brother’s fifth boy and wrapped one arm around the five years younger male’s chest. “Goodnight, Sprite.” He whispered fondly.
“Night, Wars.” Time mumbled happily while smiling as he fell asleep. Yet, he woke up only couple of hours later while feeling sweaty and too hot. His boys had moved even closer into the given warmth and tightened their hold around him. At first he just concentrated into his breathing while hoping for the situation to pass. Unfortunately, that wasn’t going to happen as his body temperature just kept rising underneath the blanket.
“Boys… Let go…” The one eyed male called and started to try and wiggle free. Sadly, that only got the seven boys of his to hold on stronger. He cursed and fought more while calling out to them. Yet, his voice was bit too weak and the youngsters and his older brother too deep asleep.
The sweating was followed by dizziness which caused the ranch’s owner to stop struggling. He fought to keep his breathing under control while trying to force his temperature down. Obviously, such wasn’t going to work like that. Slowly he started to rather gasp for air than breathe normally.
Time whined and trembled when the nausea struck. His attempts to move were weak and restricted by the seven around him. Even his brother’s arm felt like a rhino was sitting on his chest. He fought to stay conscious as the situation got worse. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a way for him to break free, wake the others up or get himself cooled down anymore. He quietly pleaded for help before darkness fell around him.
Wars woke up with a start only about five minutes later. He froze to his place when he felt and heard the labored sound of breathing. The cold dread and terror struck him and he recognized the feeling in a second. He hated how many times he had had that specific feeling back at the orphanage. And yet, he also was so very grateful of it as it had helped him to save his brother each and every time.
“Sprite?” He called out while quickly pushing himself up and being careful of where he put his hand. He inwardly cursed at the time his eyes took to get used to the darkness around him. “SPRITE!” He screamed out the moment the situation struck him. “Sprite, wake up!” He shouted and started to shake the unconscious little brother of his while bit slapping him but neither worked.
“Damn it, damn it, damn it!” The ex-Captain growled while realizing how sweaty and hot his brother’s skin felt. “Sky, Hyrule, sorry about this!” He half apologized, half growled out while forcing the duo off of his brother.
The duo gasped and yelped when the blanket was snatched away. “Hey!” Hyrule half shouted before gasping again as Wars forced him and Sky even more away from Time.
“Sprite! Sprite, damn it, wake up!” Wars kept half barking, half begging while doing his best to apologize to his brother’s boys as he forced them away. He yanked and pulled on the blanket to get it away.
“What’s going on? What’s wrong with Time?” Wind inquired while falling closer to panic.
“Overheating!” Wars snapped with a growl. “Fucking hell. Those son of bitches!” He snarled while forcing Time’s shirt off once he had the blanket away from him. “Get wet towels!” He commanded. “Cold water!” He half shouted after the few youngster that snapped into work. “They just had to mess with your body temperature, eh…” He whispered almost underneath his breath. “Those bastards just had to fuck it up. Cold during heat waves, hot during too cold winters.” He shook his head while trying to use the sweaty shirt as a fan.
Wild, Wind and Sky returned quickly with wet towels. Wars took them swiftly and started to do his best to cool his brother’s skin. “Damn it, Sprite, wake up already!” He commanded while having no idea how long his brother had been out of it. “Fucking shit, I should’ve figured it out. I should’ve stayed awake. I should’ve guarded you.” He mumbled while his actions weren’t working.
“Warriors…” Twilight called with bit wavering voice.
“Fuck this! I’m taking him to hospital!” Wars almost shouted while pulling his brother up from the bed. “Call the ambulance to the entrance of the town! Tell them Sprite’s having very bad case of overheating and he’s not waking up!” He commanded while rushing the five years younger male to the first floor. “Sky, Twi, you two drive the other two cars! Hyrule, you’re with me and Sprite!” He snapped the orders out while having carefully put the one eyed male down to the floor before quickly throwing on his jacket, snatching the keys and already putting the shoes on.
The seven youngsters of the ranch’s owner were swift in getting ready. There was no changing of clothes but just putting on enough to stay warm in the cold night. The boys were freaked out but the fact of Wars being capable of commanding them around aided them to stay calm enough to function. The older males did their best to soothe the younger ones.
Wars drove as fast as he could once Time was laying on the backseat with Hyrule watching over him. He was grateful of the meadow and wide areas to see. It helped to keep check on possible animals such as deer or foxes. Luckily the drive to the parking lot at the outside of the town went well and the ambulance was right there waiting for them.
Hyrule called both Wild and Four to inform of having reached the parking lot and having gotten to the ambulance. He and Wars stayed out of the way as the medical personnel worked with better knowledge and equipment in cooling down Time. Things seemed bit better by the time they reached the hospital as the one eyed male’s breathing had eased out towards normal.
Twilight and Sky drove to the hospital’s parking lot. Hyrule had kept both teams of his brothers updated on how things were going and which room to enter. For the rest of the night none of the eight males slept. Even though things were out of the worst, it still would take a while to fully recover from the incident.
Time woke up late at the next day with a whine. Yet, nearly instantly he struck his eye open with a start. “The boys!” He shouted out while sitting up abruptly but that only got him to whine even louder while bringing his hand over his mouth. He was feeling hellish and nauseous.
“Whoa! Easy, Sprite!” Wars nearly screamed while already gently laying his brother back down. “You gotta take it easy, damn it.” He growled before sighing and relaxing his tense shoulders at the freaked out look Time gave him. “The boys are fine. I’m fine. You’re the one who’s at the hospital bed in here.” He pointed out firmly before picking up the glass of water with a straw in there. “You need to drink.” He commanded while already offering it towards the one eyed male.
The seven boys of the ranch’s keeper and Wars stayed at the hospital with Time but they kept their distance. None of them wanted to repeat the incident for any of reason. While at there, Wild asked quite well anything he came up with considering foods that could be given to a patient of overheating. Wars and the others queried for all the other information just to make sure the one eyed male would make a full recovery.
It took about two days before Time was set free from the hospital. Yet, instead of going straight back to the ranch, the caretaker of the seven youngster queried for a detour. Sky and Twilight had fetched Wars’ car to the hospital’s parking lot during the first day just make sure everyone would get home without needing to wait for Wars to get his car.
The shop the ranch’s owner chose was selling beds, bed sheets, pillows, blankets and such. “What are you searching for, Sprite?” Wars inquired while following his little brother and looking around.
“I’m surprised you haven’t figured it out.” Time replied almost mischievously before shrugging. “But you’ll understand when I find it.” He continued while making his way straight into the section of blankets and linen. Once at there, he already started to go through them until grinning as he found what he was searching for. He knew it would end up bit pricy but it would definitely be worth it.
“That’s…” Wars half whispered as he stared at the gigantic blanket.
“The biggest there is.” Time replied while already fully knowing what he was doing. After finding the linen for the giant blanket, he searched out much smaller ones of both parts.
After paying and getting back home, the eight males with the ranch’s owner did as much as they could to help. They got the linen washed and kept close check on Time. They made sure he didn’t overdo himself and that he drank and ate often enough to keep the nausea, dizziness, dehydration and such away while recovering. At the next day, by the one eyed male’s instructions, they got the old bed sheets and blanket off.
The gigantic blanket was handled first and laid over the bed. After that came the smaller one into middle of the king sized bed. Only after that they put on the bed cover. “I’m still not getting it.” Wars stated out after everything was done.
“Before I explain…” Time started calmly before turning his gaze into the older male that had been like a brother to him for as long as he remembered. “Can I ask you something, Wars?” He inquired and the ex-Captain nodded without hesitation. “About my body temperature… Has it always been this crazy? I… I don’t recall it acting strangely until I was five but… My memory’s bit hazy on some things and, well…” He shrugged a bit while trying to put the pieces together.
Wars sighed heavily and shook his head. “No…” He half whispered before taking a deep breath. “Your body temp was normal until you were five. I don’t know what those bastards did to you but after that, for two years, it was going quite crazy. You had both hypothermia and overheating twice. It was crazy. I had to keep you warm during heat wave while everyone else was doing their best to cool down. Not to mention that you slept in a bathtub filled with cold water with me adding in ice cubes during winter while everyone else was trying to get warm. Your body just didn’t stop decreasing during summer nor did it stop increasing during winter. Spring and autumn were only times you had normal body temperature.” He explained sorrowfully.
“I don’t recall the other kids calling me on names because of it.” Time half whispered while frowning.
“They understood.” Wars replied with a small smile. “I let them know it was because of the keepers of the place. They knew it was one of the payments for you to keep them safe and out of their hands.” He sighed heavily while feeling bit like crying. “You were just a kid and still you were ready to go through hell just to keep everyone else safe.” He snorted softly and shook his head. “You really haven’t changed from that.”
The one eyed male gave a small smile with bit of a blush and shrugged. “What can I say? You’re one hell of a role model.” He countered fondly and slightly grinned as his older brother blushed a bit. “Anyway, about the bed…” He continued and turned his notion to the thing.
“So, I know most of you will gladly get underneath the blanket when you come over. Now it’s just bigger one. Though, I’m sorry for this but, this time I’ll be sleeping over that big one. On that way, even though everyone can get close to me, the hold won’t be as restraining as before. The smaller blanket’s mine only so it’ll be easier to take off. On this way, if it gets too hot, I can get the blanket off and cool down.” The ranch’s owner explained as calmly as he could while not being too happy of the slight obstacle between him and his boys.
“You think it’ll actually work?” Wars inquired while feeling uncertain of the idea. He understood the way it should work but he fully doubted it to go right in the end.
“Why not try straight off tonight?” Time countered with a grin.
“NO.” The oldest male of the ranch stated out firmly. “You’re still recovering. I am not—“ He started before trailing off as his little brother gave him his best puppy-dog-eyes. “Sprite…” He started bit uncertainly but that only brought out a miserable whine and slump from the one eyed male. Wars whined loudly while facepalming. “You still can’t whimper, huh?” He half mumbled.
The ranch’s owner bit flinched, sighed heavily and slumped for real. “I’m trying but…” He shrugged sorrowfully. “It’s stuck hard.”
Wars sighed heavily and nodded. “Alright. Alright, I’ll accept BUT with one condition.” He yielded before already giving a stern look to Time. “I stay up the whole night and keep check on the situation.”
“Wha… NO!” The one eyed male exclaimed roughly. “You need the sleep too!”
“I either guard your door and keep everyone from coming over OR you accept me staying awake and guarding.” The ex-Captain stated out firmly. He grinned slightly when Time sighed exaggerated.
“Fine.” The ranch’s keeper huffed and rolled his eye. “Yet, you’ll sleep at the morning. And I’ll guard you at then.” He countered with a wide grin.
“Fine by me.” Wars replied and matched the grin. “Been missing you acting like a weight blanket.”
Time blushed with a start before chuckling a bit nervously. “I’m not that kid anymore, you know.” He reminded while smiling bit shyly. “Gained height and weight.”
Wars snorted and shook his head. “Seriously, little brother, you’re way too skinny for my liking.”
The one eyed male blushed. “I’m just lithe!” He exclaimed and huffed in fake annoyance as his brother laughed.
“Honestly, you need to actually gain weight, Sprite.” The older male countered.
“Oh for that I’m going to squish you tomorrow morning! I’ll show you I weight just enough.” Time promised boldly and Wars just chuckled while grinning. The younger male just huffed and turned his gaze off. Yet, when he heard and saw from the corner of his eye his older brother moving towards him, he turned back to face him.
The ex-Captain smiled fondly and hugged Time tightly. “You’re just perfect the way you are, Sprite.” He whispered fondly and felt the one eyed male relax in his arms. He kissed the side of his brother’s head before pulling off.
Wild had been more than ready to increase the meal portions of his caretaker’s but he scratched that idea when it turned out to have been just bit of teasing around between Time and Wars. Yet, he was happy of listening the duo banter off like that since it brought out much calmer and happier side of the one eyed male. Plus, it very much let the ranch’s owner to give out stuff from his past much more freely than before.
At that night the eight males did pile on Time. His body temperature still warmed up the bigger blanket from close by and with all there, the combined body warmth did increase the heat nicely. Yet, as they had awaited, the one eyed male did get too hot during the night. “You gonna help me?” He inquired when he woke up while sweating.
“Only if you’re unable to do what you claimed to be capable of.” Wars countered while actually wanting to already pull the blanket off. Yet, his little brother just nodded, apologized to his boys while promising to give his arms back to be hugged and worked the blanket off. The one eyed male folded it few times before using it as an extra pillow.
“See? All’s fine.” Time told almost smugly while worming his arms back into the hold of Legend, Hyrule, Twilight and Wild. Wars calmed down and simply nodded.
“Just sleep, little brother. I’ll guard you.” The older male whispered and the ranch’s owner nodded before yawning. Wars smiled fondly and kept close check on the situation but with the blanket off, the sweating had stopped and things were just fine. Time slept peacefully through the night without further incidents.
At the next morning the seven boys went to handle the ranch work while making sure Time and Wars stayed at the bed. “Thank you, boys! You are such sweethearts!” The one eyed male fondly called after them and the youngsters just nodded with a slight blush. “Now…” He continued with mischievous grin while turning towards Wars. “Your turn!” He half shouted before already pushing the older male down and pulling his own blanket over him. After that he just laid over his brother as fully as possible.
Wars gave out a startled yelp at the push before gasping at the blanket being brought over him. He chuckled a bit when Time fully pinned him down to the bed. Yet, he smiled fondly and wrapped his arms around the taller male. This was exactly what he had been missing for long while. His little brother in his arms safe and sound. “Love you, Sprite. I will always protect you as long as I’m capable of in any way possible.” He whispered fondly while meaning each and every word.
“Love you too, big brother.” Time replied quietly before tad grinning. “Now hush and sleep.”
Wars chuckled and kissed the side of his little brother’s nose. He grinned at the slight start of the younger male. Yet, after that he closed his eyes while calming down and smiling fondly. Time calmed down too and relaxed with his older brother. He didn’t mean it to happen but he ended up taking a nap too while Wars slept beneath him. They both felt as safe and secure as back in the orphanage whenever they had a chance to sleep like this. Guarding one another and making sure each other was safe and sound with them. They were once again at home with family.

What I SHOULD be doing;
Resting before what will be a manic day tomorrow moving as much stuff as possible to the new place, for the 1 day I have a mate driving a hired van for me
What I ACTUALLY did;
Attempted to remove a stubborn nail (whilst balancing precariously on a chest of drawers and a chair that likes to spin) and nearly knocked myself out whacking myself in the head with the pair of pliers.
I managed not to fall off and did manage to remove the nail in the end but the world's a bit sideways now aaaaaand my head and neck hurts.
So now I have to look out for mild concussion symptoms when I'M LITERALLY MOVING HALF OF ALL MY STUFF ACROSS TO WALES TOMORROW.
This is gonna be *fun*...
