cross and killer being affectionate. or at least cross being affectionate at times and killer eventually warming up to it. cross is already reserved (and nervous about showing it) affection wise but i think he'd push himself to do it. small acts. small kisses and light touches

killer appreciates the shows of affection. it's a small comfort or security even to have someone willing to be affectionate with him. they learn after a while that cross isn't scared of Them when they speak about being nervous or embarrassed about it. i think they'd work on speaking a bit first before doing things like hug or hold hands. asking permission, giving a little warning

☆ on the topic of designs, i tried to have dm and petey have somewhat of a similar shape to sonic and shadow respectively.

— it probably isn't show very well here but i feel that sonic has round shapes concentrated around the middle of his body, while shadow has more pointed/sharp shapes concentrated towards his chest area. maybe i'll tweak the designs again but that was what i was going for!

cross feels uncomfortable around both of them. not from any real form of dislike or contempt

cross is just nervous around dream. cross is deeply uncomfortable around nightmare

i can see cross eventually warming up to either of them but as far as first impressions go i dont think he’d be too keen on speaking to them one on one for long
