You screamed at Steve as he sat looking completely emotionless, all that mattered to him was keeping up his title of “ king Steve”.

What the actual fuck are you talking about, all I ever do is spend time with you if you ask me we might even spend TO MUCH TIME around each other. Steve replied.

Your jaw almost hit the ground then you began to speak. “ TO MUCH TIME??? THATS WHAT YOU THINK? DONT START WITH ME HARRINGTON; WHEN WE ARE TOGETHER IM NOTHING MORE THAN AN ARM REST, A PROP BESIDE YOU WHILE YOU SIT SHIT TALKING WITH TOMMY.”

“ WELL TRY FUCKING HARDER” it might come off a bit harsh but you’ve had enough, when you and Steve first got together it was amazing, you were both so very in love but lately it’s all been feeling one sided. Steve’s taking this king Steve stuff way to serious, he barley even talks to you.

It took a few months for you to pull yourself together but you finally came around with the help of Eddie Munson. You had met him through your little brother Dustin, he dropped him off from a hellfire meeting one night and his car broke down right as he pulled up to your house, thankfully they made it there safely but Eddie ended up having to stay the night and the car got fixed in the morning; you spent that night talking to Eddie and you both grew closer by the day and eventually began to become a little more than friends.

Steve knew what he said was wrong, he knew it was all a mistake. Even though you left months ago he still can’t get you off his mind. He’s let go of the whole “ king steve” childish nonsense. You were much more important to him than that but it’s a little to late now.

Eddie reached for your hand as you both walked into school. “You look gorgeous today as always m’lady” he said in his cute little accent he does that you love. “ and you as well my prince” you both giggled and pecked at each others lips. Little did you know Steve was watching from afar his heart breaking at the sight of you with another guy. He knew you deserved to be treated well, he didn’t blame you for leaving, he knew he was an asshole but now he’s changed. His heart felt heavy and his eyes fluttered fighting tears. All he could do was walk the other way.

Later that day he began his shift at family video which means he also began his ranting about you to Robin. “ I just wish I would’ve listened or said more or done better” Steve spoke. “ ughh” robin said rolling her eyes “ you know Steve this is getting old. You messed up dude, we all do but you’ve seriously got to move on.” “ don’t you think I would if I could? I can’t Robin, I love her.” Steve replied. Before Robin could get any words out the door opened “ welcome to family videos!” Robin said, she picked up her head to greet whoever had came in but that’s when she was met with Eddie. Robin knew you and Eddie had been seeing each other, Steve had mentioned it one, two or a thousand times. All she could give was a soft smile to him. Steve panicked. He didn’t know if you were behind Eddie or if Eddie came to start a fight, every possibility was running through his head except for the fact that he could just be coming to get a movie. So Steve hid behind a cardboard cut out and made a complete fool of himself.

Eddie knew you and Steve had dated but he didn’t know to much, he though things ended peacefully and you two didn’t really have that much history but boy was he mistaken.

“ uhhh why did Harrington just run behind a cardboard cut out?” Were Eddie’s first words. Steve swiftly came out from behind the cut out trying to play it off “ not hiding, just cleaning” he was beyond confused right now. Robin just shrugged with embarrassment. “ anyways” Eddie began, “do you guys have sixteen candles?” Steve’s heart was shattered all over again. He knew that was your favorite movie which was probably why Eddie was asking for it right now. “ uhh yeah, I actually have a copy right here, here you go” Robin pulled a copy out from behind the counter that had just been returned earlier that day. “ Thanks” Eddie replied. There had been intense awkwardness in the room the entire time and Eddie honestly didn’t have a clue as to why. He awkwardly waved the movie a little then turned to walk out the door. As soon as he did “ THATS HER FAVORITE MOVIE ROBIN” Steve said “ JESUS CHRIST HARRINGTON ENOUGH!” Robin replied throwing her hands up in defeat. “ they’re probably watching it tonight doing God knows what, I can’t take it any more. That should be me on her bed watching it with her, me holding her not that freak!” Suddenly a cough came from the door. It was Eddie “ I forgot to pay and no one mentioned it but keep your fucking movie.” Eddie tossed the movie and walked out the door.

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the homes that surrounded Joel’s in the little commune in Jackson.

"Joel, you alright in there?" Ellie's voice called from outside the door. He'd been in there for a while and she was getting worried. His admission about the bullet that missed his head had stayed with her, and she was always wary about leaving him alone when he was in a mood.

He replayed the events of the day in his mind. You all had been out scavenging, laughter mingling with the desolate sounds of the overgrown world. But then, a clicker had appeared out of nowhere, its monstrous form lunging at you. Joel had reacted quickly as soon as he saw it, but the deafness in his right ear had made him slow to hear it in the first place.

By the time Joel had got his arms around you to pull you away and shoot the clicker, you were already dripping blood to the ground. What should have been a preventable altercation with a clicker turned into a deep gash on your arm. The scream you let out when it got you would become an addition to his nightmares.

When you reached your neighbourhood, you both parted ways silently with Joel not even sparing a glance backwards to see you get into your home.

You reached across the table to grab Joel's hand. "Joel, we don’t have control over everything. I could walk outside tomorrow and get trampled by a horse and you’d still find a way to blame yourself. You need to stop this. I’m not going anywhere.”

You had left him just a while ago after spending the day together, but your absence felt heavy in his heart. He realized he hadn't even said goodbye to you, mind too occupied with the thoughts that wouldn't shut up.

He stared at his plate as he pushed his food around. "What?"

“Really? You have no idea what I’m about to say?” 

Joel sighs and rubs his face. “Can we not–” 

“No, I’m not gonna put up with this anymore. You’ve been shut off ever since the incident with the clicker. It’s not fair to me, or to Ellie for that matter, to have to tiptoe around your mood. What’s going on?” 

Ellie senses an argument brewing and quietly gathers her dishes and leaves the dining area. 

Joel clenched his jaw, his fingers tightening around his glass. "Don’t act like you don’t know. You know this was all my fault. I couldn’t hear the goddamn thing. I was slow to reach you. If I’d been just 2 seconds late? If– God, you would be dead or worse by now.”

But Joel was stubborn. He started to stand, gathering his dishes in his hand, his voice rough. "Think about it. I have, and I think it's time for you to go." He leaves, leaving you stunned. Not wanting to stay where you’re not wanted, you leave too.

One day as he was returning from patrol, Joel found himself outside your home. He stared at the illuminated window, watching the silhouette of you laugh with the new guy. It was like a scene from a movie. A pang of jealousy and regret gnawed at his chest. He clenched his fists. He couldn't stand the thought of you being with anyone else, but he knew it was for the best.

Which is why Joel surprised himself when one day he found his feet taking him to your doorstep, his heart pounding in his chest. When you opened the door, surprise and wariness in your eyes, he cleared his throat.

"Can we talk?" he asked, his voice rough but sincere.

You studied him for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, come in."

You sat down in the living room, the silence heavy between you both as you sit on opposite ends of the couch. Joel stared at his hands, struggling to find the right words. Finally, he looked up at you.

"I’ve been doing a lot of thinking. Or more like Ellie.. has been making me do a lot of thinking," he admitted, his voice gruff but vulnerable. "And I realized I let my guilt and my anger and my frustration drive you away. But those are my demons. Not yours. You don’t deserve to be hurt over the things that hurt me.” 

You stared at him in silence, processing his words. You thought that Joel had given up on you and you were prepared to move on with your life. Seeing him open up to you was a shock to your system. 

“I come here with no expectations, sweetheart. I don’t expect you to forgive me or take me back, but I am so sorry. I have a lot to work on. I can’t promise you I won’t be like that again. But if you.. If you still want me.. If you would still have me.. I will try my hardest to be deserving of you.” Joel’s eyes were filled with tears at this point and he reached out to hold your hands. 

Your gaze softened as you took his hands. "Joel, I will always want you.” 

Joel stared at the floor feeling slightly abashed as he admitted softly, "I love you. I don't want you to be with someone else.” 

You pull him into a tight embrace. "Well.. I guess I’ll have an interesting conversation with Adam when I see him later,” you say to lighten the mood. The truth is you and Adam both knew that what you had was just for fun. You had even told him about Joel and you knew he’d be happy for you.

At the mention of another man’s name, Joel’s arms tightened around you and he buried his face into your shoulder saying, “No more Adam. No more whoever-the-fucks around this town. Just Joel.” 

You laughed at the way he sounded like a possessive child. You stroked his hair and think for the first time in a while, that maybe you and Joel will be okay.

Warning: Angst, some of the boys cry, Levi falls down the stairs, Beel and Belphie have panic attacks

LUCIFER:

Your picture wasn’t in the papers he received when admitting you to RAD. So he had no clue what you looked like until you were teleported into the middle of the RAD council room. And it was chaos, not just because you were unfamiliar with the Devildom and frightened, but also because as soon as he laid eyes on you he let out the loudest gasp and almost keeled over from a heart attack.

It's safe to say after that Lucifer got ALOT more protective over you, and seemed to play favourites whenever you were in the picture. You could do no wrong in his eyes...even if you did do wrong. In his mind, this was his second chance with Lilith. Probably even slips up and calls you Lilly, or Lilith on accident, even if you're a male.

Almost has another heart attack when you pull out the scrapbook and point to what looks stunningly like Lilith and call her, "Great-Great-Grandma." Actually collapses straight onto the floor and makes all his brothers panic.

MAMMON:

Let out a girlish scream the second he saw you, it was like he had just seen a ghost...and to him, he basically had. You looked IDENTICAL to Lilith and it freaked him the hell out, it was like a ghost was now their new exchange student. He thought at first that Lucifer was a big weirdo for choosing an exchange student, seemingly specifically because they looked exactly like their dead sister.

He's already pretty protective, after all, that's the job Lucifer assigned him to do. But he gets...better at it. Basically turns into a guard dog...or a protective big brother, whichever you prefer. He's one of the few brothers who actually DOESN'T accidentally call you Lilith, or any nickname for Lilith.

Choked on his noodles when he saw a woman who looked EXACTLY like Lilith in your scrapbook. You had to give him the Heimlich because he was practically choking to death.

LEVIATHAN:

When he saw you when he was running down the stairs to shake down Mammon he slipped on the stairs and came tumbling down and knocked himself out. Mammon carried him to the living room to sleep it off, and he woke up to you looking over him and he immediately assumed he died and went to wherever Lilith went after she died.

After that was all cleared up, Levi basically tries to avoid you. The guilt of losing Lilith in the war, and how after that he has done nothing with his life but be a useless otaku and play video games makes him feel horrible for disrespecting the memory of his sister so he tries to hide as much as he can from you.

Faints with Lucifer upon seeing Lilith in the scrapbook, Levi.exe has stopped working, please reboot your system. Starts crying as soon as he wakes up, and takes a picture of the photo on his phone so he can look at it whenever he wants to beat himself up.

ASMODEUS:

Is at a loss for words upon seeing you, he can't even make his normal remarks because he's too stunned. Goes catatonic for like an hour as his brain tries to reboot and process this new information. Cries for a couple of hours and doesn't even get mad he messed up his makeup because this was an emotionally draining day.

After that, he goes...somewhat back to normal. He tries his hardest to get you to like him and hang out with him. Loves doing spa days with you and painting your nails, sometimes he'll slip up and say something along the lines of, "Lilith loved this colour on her nails." And then claim he never said anything if you ask.

Started crying very loudly and messily when he saw Lilith in your scrapbook, clinging to you tightly and snotting all over you. He's quite emotionally fragile and this knocks him all off.

SATAN:

The most normal out of all the brothers, most of his memories of Lilith are Lucifers. He never really knew her. He finds it incredibly odd that Lucifer would choose you though, and like Mammon assumes it was solely because of your appearance and calls Lucifer a creep for it. Does find it incredibly odd that you look almost identical to her.

He makes no real effort to smother you with affection and love, nor does he completely ignore you. He just acts normal, all while trying to subtly ask you questions about your family tree to figure out a theory on why you look so much like Lilith.

It's ultimately Satan's fault you pull out the scrapbook, and upon seeing your great-great-grandma, the pieces all fall into place like one big jigsaw puzzle.

BEELZEBUB:

He's usually quite chill...he was not chill when he saw you. His hands started shaking, his breathing got rapid and he felt like he was drowning in air. Just the first sight of you caused him to have a massive panic attack. He felt like he just saw the ghost of Lilith, and who could blame him?

After that he sticks around you heavily, always following you around like a nearly 7-foot-tall dog. Offers you his food to you, and becomes incredibly protective of you. He's terrified of losing you, just like he lost the real Lilith. Slips up and calls you Lilith, or Lilly once or twice but immediately apologizes.

Seeing your great-great-grandmother makes him have another panic attack, and he has to sit on the floor next to Levi and Lucifer for a while to try and recuperate.

BELPHEGOR:

Felt Beelzebub's panic attack due to their twin telepathy thing while he was up in the attic, but had no clue how. He was mostly pissed at the fact he couldn't help his twin with whatever was bothering him. When you wondered up to the attic and found him, he immediately found out why Beel had had a panic attack.

He promptly has a panic attack too. His thoughts rage around in his head, he had to kill you because you were a human but...you looked so much like her and just looking at you made him want to cry and the thought of killing you made him want to throw up.

Ultimately, when you release him from the attic. He doesn't kill you, he can't do it, you look too much like her, it'd be like killing Lilith all over again. Upon seeing the scrapbook and the picture of your great-great-grandmother he had to lie down, and hold Beel's hand while they had twin panic attacks.

You and Frank have been close since you first arrived in this hell hole. You always hung out after trials and listened to music together. He had a girlfriend named Juile and she hated you. She hated how close you and Frank were. She was extremely jealous of your relationship. She felt very inscure and tried to seperate you guys as much as she could. It was very hard to do but sometimes she managed to do it. You guys always snuck around and made your bond that much stronger. Over time you started to fall for Frank.

You didnt even relize it at first, but when your heart started beating rapidly around him you knew. You panicked because he had a crazy girlfriend and he's your best friend. You pulled at your hair and let out a frustrated scream. You were called in a trial and so you took out your frustrations on the survivors. When you got back you sat by the campfire with some of the other killers. "Oo you seem tense" a voice teased, you knew whose voice that belonged to. "Yeah so what if I am?" you said a bit annoyed and turned to face Ghostface. The mask's souless eyes stared into you, you felt another pair of eyes on you. They were burning into your skull and your shivered. "uh-oh I better leave..see you soon sweetheart" he waved then walked away. Footsteps stormed your way and you rolled your head towards them. You looked up and raised an eyebrow. "What?" A furious Julie stood above you her, mask moved to the side of her head.

She grabbed you by the collar of your shirt and yanked you up. She started to yell at you calling you names and curing at you. "You fucking whore! You seduced my man and made him dump me!" She raised a hand to slap you but before she could a hand grabbed her wrist stopping her. "Julie stop being so childish, they had nothing to do with I just dont love you anymore" He glared at her and she looked like she wanted to cry. She turned her face away and glared at me one more time before drpping me and walking muttering "whatever fucking cunt"

The killers around the campfire were all staring at you, completely baffled but some were amused. Frank grab your arm and pulled you up and tugged you into the woods. "c'mon lets get away so these creeps cant see us.." he was acting different but that could be becuase he just broke up with his girlfriend. Once you guys got deep enough you sat down and used a tree as back support. You both sighed and sat in silence for a while. You opened your mouth to speak then closed it not knwing what to say. It was uncormfortable sitting there which bothered you. "Listen Frank if I did anything to influence you to break up wi-" you started but he cut you off "You didnt influnce andything I just dont love her anymore, she changed and besides I fallen inlove with someone else" he stated, you eyes widened and your heart shattered. "oh" was all you said, what could you say?

"They're pretty, kind, smart," your heart ached when he went on to describe them it was too much "They make me feel goof about myself, they even scare the survivors with me" he smiled as he said that and looked at you. Your eyes widened and your breath got caught in your throat. Your heart was racing, was he talking about you? I mean he had to be you couldnt think of anyone else who he would scare survivors with.

Self doubt plauged your mind. Frank grasped your chin with his hand and he tilted it up so you looked at him. "Im talking about you dumbass" he chuckled you blushed and grabbed his hand. Without a single thought you kissed him, his eyes widened and he kissed you back without hesitation. You both wrapped your arms around each other.

We all know kiri be most attentive, overprotective husband to a pregnant reader. Now, picture this: pregnant reader, a now stay-at-home wife and maybe like 6-7 months preggo. One day she's just bored out of her mind, having finished cleaning the house against her husband's wishes cause lets face it, he's the sweetest, dorkiest worrywort, and so she goes on YouTube and sees a video on how to crochet the cutest tricerotops and she just squeals. Knowing her husband wont be home until later, she goes to the store to buy all necessary supplies- different colored yarn, a crochet needle, etc, and before she makes the drive home and decides to call dear kiri to what he wants for dinner and when he finds out she's out and about outside the safety of their home, worried, panicked husband mode engaged and he legitimately RUNS to her location, dont matter if she's a hundred blocks away, he's ditching a screaming bakugou during patrol and is there in a matter of minutes.

As soon as he sees her, he's frantically patting down her body in search for any kinds of injuries and when there's none, thats when he sighs in relief. So they go about getting some snacks and dinner for later that night and he drives reader home, no but's, or's and if's you're not lifting a finger while in his presence, he's bringing in all grocery bags and then goes back to a fuming bakugou with a sweet kiss on the lips. Then when the coast's clear, reader starts her plan. Of course doing something like crochet for the first time will take lots of practice and patience, but of course reader is DETERMINED to make the cute mini dino plushie for their unborn child, no matter how her hormones get her frustrated and angry with it, she is GOING to make it if its the last thing she ever did.

And at last, all her hard work pays off! Theres a cute little dino plushie sitting in her hand. And of course the first thing she does is show her husband as soon as he's home from hero work.

And imagining kiri's cute reaction to it just makes my heart squeeze, he'll get all teary eyed and has that sunshine smile at the cute stuffed animal and hugs his wife. Then he makes a request that she make him one for a keychain and you know reader will be looking up a cute shark for the shark man himself.

And just his reaction to the mini red shark with his signature safeguard just sends his heart a flutter and he's kissing and praising his sweet wife. The next day you'll see that he has a hard time deciding to put it on his key ring or on his phone, like its just so cute and its like a little reminder of you and he wants it with him at all times, so he just ties it up on his hero belt to keep it close and asks you to make some more to put on his phone and key ring and he just loves it so much that he decides to sit with you and try to crochet a lil cute animal with you but it comes out a little deformed but you love it no matter what and you ask him to get you a little display case for all the crochets that he tries his best making for you.

Omg idk if this is weird, but just imagining his cute, wholesome reactions to the little crochet plushie just gets me all warm and fuzzy inside.

And imagine when he sees his lil baby playing with all the crochet plushies you made them? :'(( telling you, baby dont want any other toy

Hi my love. I’m sorry you’ve been feeling down about the lack of interaction you receive on your writing. I wish I had some helpful advice or something to offer to make you feel better but I all I can really think to give is my own experience, which is honestly pretty similar. It really sucks to see a bunch of people like something that you’ve put a lot of time and effort into but not like it enough to share it with anyone or leave a comment or do anything other than click a little heart button. It’s hard to see people go through liking every single chapter but they dont like it enough to reblog it? Or leave a comment? And it doesn’t even have to be some crazy detailed explanation of your thoughts. A gif of Kermit screaming into the void says more than a like.

And I’ve had the same thoughts, about not writing anymore. Or at least not putting it on tumblr anymore. Not all because of a lack of interaction but I’d be lying if I said that didn’t factor into it. And it might not be the right solution but it definitely would stop the disappointment I feel when my writing doesn’t get interactions.

I tell myself all the time that I’m writing for me and because I like it and it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks, and part of that is true, but it helps to hear you say you write with readers in mind. Because that’s a thought I always try to tamp down (maybe just to make myself feel better) but it is fun to write things with other people in mind or what you know someone else will like/identify with/freak out over/etc.. So that doesn’t make me feel better about like vs interaction but it does make me feel better about what I want my writing to be deep down

Anyway this is all to say that I’m sorry you’re frustrated and I wish that I could help and I also really love seeing you on my dash and having you around and selfishly I really hope you don’t decide to leave but if you do I get it. you need to do what’s best for you ❤️

You’re allowed to write for whatever reason makes you enjoy writing! And it can change based on the day and what you’re writing. Go with what you want deep down. I don’t judge my writing by the number of interactions but the interactions are what’s meaningful for me here. I’d rather have quality over quantity ❤️
