Is Strangerville really ordinary, V?
Collect all the seashells and buried treasure and create a display of it all ✅
Transcript:
Hello V, how have you been? I was getting worried because you've not responded in a while, but it's good to hear from you! I was just wondering, why is it called Strangerville? Everything you wrote seems pretty ordinary to me, it's not strange at all! But I guess I don't know why Sulani is actually called Sulani!
Speaking of, there are strange things happening here. Suddenly I see lots of washed up treasures on the beach and rare seashells that wasn't there before. We have our own collection at home!
The weather has been all over the place, like sudden thunderstorms and the sun sets at a much later time. And my Dad is saying there are more dolphins in the sea, which is very rare to see!
I asked my closest friend about this. She started talking about the supernatural and the possibility of mermaids existing: how supernatural stuff could trigger these events and control the weather. Straight after, she said she's been reading and watching fantasy stuff lately, so I don't know if I believe her words.
Then I asked my classmate what he thought, he said I was talking bullshit. I guess I am talking bullshit! I remember I asked my Dad and Uncle this when I was younger and they thought I was crazy.
So what do you think about the supernatural? I know that spellcasters exist because I've met one! They look human, you can't tell that they have powers! But mermaids? A human with a fish tail seems impossible.

There haven't been any Milgram headcanon requests so far, right? How about 🧸 and 💔 for Mikoto?
Mikoto time!! Thank you for the request -- I know it's risky posting headcanons so close to Double, but I'll come back and ammend anything that might be proven wrong on Wednesday 😂
🧸 A headcanon about their childhood: Through his early schooling years, Mikoto was present for a lot of extracurricular activities. He didn't always care/give his all, he just enjoyed hanging out with others and fooling around. The reason he can be such good friends with everyone is because he's picked up on tons of little things over the years by dabbling in all those arts, fields of study, sports, etc. Once he finds out your hobby, he can immediately retrieve some bit of knowledge/memory to get a conversation going, or even join in the activity. Mahiru is pleasantly surprised by his classic literature references, gardening club gets him on Shidou's good side, Muu likes talking to him about fashion tips, he can play sports with Fuuta, he tries to bond over band memories with Amane, and so on. When he was a kid he was just trying things out for fun, but as an adult he's grateful he picked up on so much.
💔 An angsty headcanon: He's accustomed to, and expects, bad separations. So many friendships and relationships ended on a very sour note, so now he's used to pulling away first. (There was no aggression or violence, but) the appearance of different alters followed by the host's insistent denials would make others think poorly of him. The more he claims ignorance, the more it seems like he's just gaslighting/manipulating, so there have been a few explosive separations in which he had no idea what went wrong. Because of that, it's been harder to get close to anyone, and he will start pulling away the minute things show signs of trouble. It's why he left the smoking group so quickly, and doesn't hang out with the other prisoners as often in T2. Instead of waiting for an inevitable fight, he ends things immediately and peacefully.

good morning! i’m insane about the coven again!
(thinks about cleo learning that betrayal is inevitable and people are out for themselves and that there are very few people that they can trust. who had been stabbed in the back by the very first person she had met in this world. and then they meet el who is earnest and insecure and vulnerable and inexperienced and they go “this is someone i can Trust.” and never sees her as anything other than a friend and rival who stands on equal ground. and scott is also someone cleo can Trust because he’s proven himself to her over and over again, lifetime after lifetime. thinks abt c!cleo and trust)
you are sick and twisted for sending me this you know that. in 2024 no less

woagh… you have no idea how big of an honor it is for me to be requested to draw someones blorbo.
also hai :3 and thank you very much :33 i love making the blorbos creature looking.
this was also a good wake up call that i do not draw Alex NEARLY as much as i should.
i kind of wanted to draw half-dead Alex, but i have not earned that responsibility yet 😔 so instead i did one of those “his ass is NOT ___” memes
versions w/o the text and guitar under cut

really do like shri'iia being an oath of the crown paladin when she was still in menzoberranzan meaning that she very much upheld the terror and status quo lolth enforced over her drows. she was kind of an inquisitor in a way, or a crusader, and she hunted down anyone who didnt want to follow lolth. she was very much a part of the people who enforced that fear and paranoia lolth particularly likes, more so as she was kept in the shadow so she just instills dread on others without them knowing. her name is supposed to mean 'silent chaos' btw and she did just that. but then the script flips and now suddenly she's one being hunted. the worst part is shri'iia never understood why anyone would want to defy lolth before, but now that she's seen the other side and she's seen the potential that they were robbed from, that's when she understands why even though they were raised in the dark, some still yearned to see the sun. that's when she understands why her own mother was willing to throw everything away and be an outcast so she's not under lolth's gaze anymore, and i don't think shri'iia regrets what she has done when she was still following lolth - more so that she regrets and scorns that she never knew there were other options besides lolth, and it's possible to live without that constant fear and dread that comes with serving the spider queen.
