Neuvillette Furina core with Fischl and Yae as off-field electro application and extra damage. Please don't judge my Yae rotation too much, I am not used to her timings yet. On the other side we have the classic double hydro hyperbloom team with Nahida as the on-fielder. Very comfy pick this abyss as you can do good chip damage in the little damage windows you get in the first two chambers.

this abyss seems hard, but its actually just kind of annoying. hardest dps check is first half of first chamber, but it doesnt have element restrictions, so if u struggle, you can clear it with your strongest team for 3 stars and then switch to a team with hydro and geo, which are needed in next rooms

second side are mostly pushovers, but that ugly tree has 15 sec window at the start where you need to do A LOT of fast elemental attacks to break its shield or it one shots you. things that work:

hyperbloom, with xq or yelan so you have a lot hits

burning is really good

double hydro xq+yelan

ororon with any electrocharged

chevr overload or just national, esp with benny c6 and you mash normal attacks on xiangling bc they are very fast

just any fast hitting team, keqing aggravate. kazuha is actually better than xilonen despite her being natlan, bc his burst does like a million fast hits

natlan dps like kinich or chasca, obviously

And I wasn't even simping for him, I liked him bc of the gameplay in the first Hyakunin Ikki event

Farmed hydro set for him, then the nymph set and then RE-BUILT him by farming the whole new nymph set the dedication is proved I think ahah

Childe C2 was a double accident trying to pull for Heizou and Freminet (I haven't got them btw lol)

The fact that his best team is still the International is vile but also incredibly based

Ngl I was pretty annoyed by her before this one summer event where we got to know her story and since then she easily became a top character for me (including damage-vise)

She's a sub-dps so I literally put her in every team I can lol

Kaeya main day one. Literally the reason I started to play genshin. I didn't even know it's gatcha at the time imagine that. Just saw a pretty character on twitter and decided to try. I'm like super lucky he's standard chara lol

I've tried a few different builds over the years (physical, freeze, melt) and end up stopping at melt one

Yes, he's in his og outfit even tho I have the skin, I just like it more

Even pulled Shenhe for him (even tho she ended up being my absolute favourite female chara in genshin) I even got the skin for her and broke my f2p journey

Her build is hybrid, support noblesse but also cryo goblet for some damage

And yes, she has her signature, but to be honest I was trying to pull for Mistsplitter for Kaeya

I play them both in Melt comp

Traumatised like Xiao

I was saving the entire first year I played just to get him (I started to play on his banner but couldn't get him), I never got any Inazuma 5* except for Kazuha just to get Xiao.

..And then devs decided to rerun him every 3 months FUCK

I was definitely hurt but oh well

Tried many different builds and teams for him (even pulled Albedo for double geo). Every time he was getting buffed, I got this chara/artifact.

Is my build doing enough damage? Still no. But he's still my favourite deadly little meow meow and I'm not ashamed to admit it (I kinda do cringe writing this please know it's meta ironic)

Liked him since beginning and yes I did pull on his banner instead of waiting for standard and I don't regret it. He's a good dps and best standard chara

Tighnari's is a day-one build btw I haven't changed it since he came out I think it's still good.

Arle Flex:

Arlecchino C2R1 — Xilonen R1 — Bennett C6

the last slot is usually Kazuha, but can also use Citlali R1, Emilie, or Yelan C1R1.

I love that this team allows Pyro and Geo to be paired with Anemo, Cryo, Pyro, or Hydro, so Arlecchino can cover 6/7 elements in Spiral Abyss.

Neuvi Hyper:

Neuvillette R1 — Furina C2 — Citlali R1 — Xianyun

Higher damage ceiling than Arle, but less flexibility due to less elements and just how Neuvillette works. Would love to get Neuvi's C2 to really make this ridiculous. Citlali's shield is surprisingly helpful, given that both her damage and her shield scale on one stat (EM).

Hu Plunge:

Hu Tao R1 — Yelan C1R1 — Furina C2 — Xianyun

Lower damage ceiling and a trickier DPS than Arle, but the double hydro and the plunge / fanfare healing stacks are more than enough to help Hu Tao do the job. Hu Tao doesn't really scale well in terms of damage with early constellations, so the support constellations are more meaningful.

Girl Load:

Arlecchino C2R1 — Fischl C6 — Chevreuse C6 — Yae Miko

Overload team for Arle when I need lots of electro, and just really good electro sub-DPSes.

Koko Hyperbloom:

Nahida — Kokomi — Furina C2 — Raiden C2

Raiden is built for EM here of course. Not the strongest team but Kokomi works hard here, and my most survivable team. Not dying to HP drain here.

Rapid Zap:

Kokomi — Furina C2 — Ororon — Xilonen R1

Team for when I need high count of elemental application due to Natlan enemy Void Ward. So, Tenebrous Papilla or Lord of Fire.

Bloom Slay:

Baizhu — Nilou — Yelan C1R1 — Kaveh C6

Kaveh is definitely one of my blorbos and this team is rarely broken out due to low damage ceiling, but is very fun. Big bloom codes.

Inazumommies:

Raiden C2 — Yae Miko — Kujou Sara C6 — Jean C4

Raiden has a lower damage ceiling but the mono electro team is still fun! Love the electro polycule.

Overworld:

Arle C2R1 — Yelan C1R1 — Xilonen R1 — Xianyun

And finally, my overworld exploration team! Arle is enough damage for anything on the overworld, and there's a lot of fast movement tech. Was pulling towards Xianyun C1 for more hops, but alas I think I'd rather save my guarantee for Skirk or the french chef girl.

3. your favorite party

well i had quite a Few parties you might say, some i can't even recall but my objective favorite would be xiao + jean + albedo + zhongli .... also known as the expensive team with everyone being 5*s but i at least get this right. it's really fun and really strong, i did a lot of exploration with this team especially in the chasm since actually the lack of elemental reactions means that there's less constraints for proper rotations. double anemo/geo means anemo resonance which is great for exploration and geo resonance which is just a great universal buff i'd say this was the team i had most fun playing. i cleared some spiral abyss content with this team as well and they did great. classic moryana with ayaka + mona + diona + venti was my overall best and strongest team, i did a LOT of spiral abyss with them. i don't use that specific lineup for world exploration though, usually i'd swap mona for kokomi at least and diona for like whoever. there's kokocharge (i made that up) typical lineup is kokomi + fischl + beidou + xingqiu/venti depending on needs since i mostly used this for spiral abyss or fast clearing domains, specifically the one with the rifthounds. it's not really comfortable for casual playing though since it's mostly just capitalizing on chain reactions and with world exploration you'd prefer single hit big damage kind of attacks. my ayato teams were a mess but when it came to abyss i made like a fucked up national comp with ayato + xiangling + bennett + sucrose which was really hard to play. national comps in general are just way too complicated with their rotations for me but i mean if they do damage ......... i also have a specific setup for a domain which was ayato + yun jin + bennett + sucrose. tbh i enjoyed playing ayato but i wish his teams were more coherent or at least in my time

in my current account i'm enjoying nahida + lisa a lot as a duo.... aggravate is really good and so is hyperbloom but i need a hydro other than barbara

27. how much do you cook if you do it

i would think i cooked about as much as the average player does, i did enjoy my healing foods but the ones that buff become kinda obsolete at some point in endgame. i used to do those gacha rituals with like making a bunch of food that the character likes before pulling them but i stopped at some point

35. a random headcanon

here's another thought, it's kind of between a headcanon and a kin memory? dainsleif is called the boughkeeper but we don't actually know how what or why. like what bough is he keeping. this came to me in a dream or popped in my head or something which is why it might be a kin memory but i interpret him to be the guardian of irminsul. he has close connections with that tree at least and it's also safe to speculate that he has special access to it since he's able to manipulate memories and his weird "immunity" to the khaenriahn curse being probably related to how he's able to shift the properties of the universe at will. one of the biggest questions that still remain today is how exactly traveler is a descender but their twin isn't, i think it's because dainsleif was able to incorporate them into the script of teyvat through irminsul manipulation. what does this mean? i can't tell you..........

anyway HYPERBLOOM TEAMS

are ridiculously easy to both build and use. extremely f2p friendly. kuki shinobu is your friend but if you don't have her you can use like. almost any other electro character. beidou and fischl are pretty good, lisa is decent, razor is actually really good. you just need to build your electro character with a shit ton of EM and pair them with a hydro and a dendro. can be any hydro and any dendro as long as the application is good enough. great candidates include dendro MC, collei, yaoyao, and kaveh for the dendro. xingqiu is the best candidate for hydro and i highly recommend getting and building him if you don't already have him. you can easily clear abyss with a hyperbloom team.

rotations are just dendro application, hydro application, spam electro.

some really fun premium hyperbloom teams are: al haitham, nahida, xingqiu/yelan, kuki shinobu/raiden cyno, nahida, xingqiu/yelan, flex you can also replace xingqiu/yelan with kokomi for some extra healing, or even go double hydro.

Tell me a team composition that you love, but would have meta players raving, flaming, and crucifying you for.

For this blog, I define "meta" as the "most effective tactic available." In Genshin's case, ways to clear Abyss with 36 stars the fastest way possible and teams that cause the most damage. These teams are often repetitive across accounts, such as Raiden National (Raiden, Xingqiu, Bennet, and Xiangling) or Morgana (Ganyu, Mona, Diona, and Venti).

Much like my previous blog, I will not reply back to any comments. My purpose for this blog is to learn how others have fun with their Genshin teams.

This is a free/"safe" space to rant, but remain courteous and respectful in the comments section to others and me. Please. I will not tolerate anyone who wants to have an argument, be a snarky bitch, or give unsolicited "advice." I will block those involved.

Old photo, Shinobu is now lvl 90. Anyway, my Kavetham team is the one I get the most backlash for. While it does have meta qualities, Xingqiu + Kuki + Dendro = Hyperbloom, the metaslaves cry so hard that I put the Kaveh and Alhaitham together.

"Kaveh and Alhaitham don't work together."

"They have no "synergy.""

"That's not enough dendro application."

"They're like lathering mayonnaise onto a CPU."

No. They're not "mayonnaise" and a "CPU" or water and oil. They are two Dendro units that provide dendro resonance, can be major powerhouses alone, but even more dangerous together.

I made it work.

Kaveh made it to Abyss floor 11, chamber 3. If they were all fully built, they would be MENACES. The best built is Kaveh at C2R5, Talents 6/7/9, artifacts lvl 20. Everyone else is still a WIP, low talent levels, artifacts lvl 0-5, and weapons lvl 20-80.

My rotation:

¹ Alhaitham's skill and burst (or just skill, if his burst isn't up)

² Xingqiu's skill or burst for hydro application

³ Kaveh's burst and skill to detonate the cores and apply more dendro

⚡️ Shinobu is there to be the responsible one(/hj, the healer) that makes sure the boys don't get killed and she applies quickening and hyperbloom. Kaveh is more or less self-sufficient with his passive and can keep himself alive.

Although Kaveh is my dendro main, I switch between Kaveh and Alhaitham as I see fit. To make it less meta, Xingqiu and Shinobu can actually be replaced with double hydro (ex. Mona and Barbara) or Hydro+Zhongli, because gods forbid Alhaitham takes damage from his own cores.

It works if you rotate it right, but no one wants to put in the extra work to figure it out. The meta creates a close-minded set of builds, and it's filled with people who just want those giant crit numbers. I don't deny the meta characters, teams, and builds do great damage, but the metaslaves so often claim their unwarranted "advice" is just "worry for the team's functionality," like "I asked if my Kaveh build was good, not if Kaveh and Alhaitham had "synergy."

Me with my team building & scheming shenanigans:

On a silly little note, I have decided to build DPS Noelle and QiQi, both characters that have been tossed aside by the meta. I'm so excited to build them.

I've asked this on Hoyolab a few times in BottleMi but the response was tepid. Only 3 brave souls decided to share their thoughts. I saw two teams of full DPS units and a Yoimiya main who said "any Yoimiya team" (they didn't elaborate further).

Hey, question but what are good teams for Layla, Xingqiu, Ninggaung, Candace or Kuki? C1, C3, C0, C3 and C2 respectively lol

layla goes with most teams that need a shielder but i find her superb for freeze in particular! i can also see melt being great (pretty sure melt layla's carried me through the abyss a couple of times LOL).

xingqiu is a hydro applier, which makes him good for any team that needs a strong hydro support. the most famous? well-known? example is vape hu tao + sustain + double hydro, usually compromising of xingqiu and yelan, but lately, furina's also been great. i suggest getting him to c6 at some point!

ningguang is a geo dps, and although i don't use her much, i'd put her on a mono geo team (ex. ning + zhongli/noelle + yun jin + gorou). it's best if you have gorou since he really buffs mono geo a lot.

regrettably, i don't play candace at all! i just got her from this past event and she doesn't seem to be the best hydro support that i have, so i didn't bother to build her. that said, i find her hydro infusions (supplied by her burst) very useful, so if you have a hydro dps that really depends on normal attacks (ex. ayato), i'd suggest building her for her burst!

kuki is best for hyperbloom (electro hits dendro cores to trigger elemental reaction). ideally, she'd be the one triggering the reaction, so build her for EM and put her on a team with a hydro applier (xingqiu would work brilliantly for this!) and a dendro unit. i'd also recommend trying to get kuki to c6!

For Ayato hb teams, double dendro = too much dendro, double hydro = too much hydro. And the latter is preferable.

He has 3 hit ICD so he applies 5 times hydro over his E. To get his burst every rotation as solo hydro you're looking at 180+ ER reqs, if not 200 and totally crippling his personal damage. The 2nd dendro will not give you that many more cores worth the personal damage loss on Ayato.

DMC as solo dendro otoh isn't going to be built for damage anyways, so you don't lose anything from investing into ER.

Xingqiu for ER generation, hydro app and personal damage, or Fischl for personal damage and ER generation are both way better than double dendro.

Strong pyro support Bennett and sub dps Xiangling help her out as well. On the other side the well established double hydro hyperbloom team, featuring Xingqiu and Yelan.

I saw someone say kaveh was 'barely usable' (paraphrased) and like tbh that just sounds like a skill issue

with proper investment he works super well idk where people are getting the idea he's like not a good unit. I get not liking his playstyle or thinking he's clunky like sometimes I feel like that too but

It is annoying that his only 'proper' hydro support is xingqiu (mainly cause I don't like xingqiu it's not about his kit or whatever. His kit works perfectly for kaveh) but mainly if you go Kaveh + Hydro Applic. + Electro + Dendro then you're set.

The hydro + Electro (I go for xingqiu + kuki) makes hyperbloom work and the double dendro is for resonance and dendro application when kaveh is out of burst.

my rotation is usually: XQ Burst (if available) + Kaveh Burst (if available) so kaveh makes dendro core and can also trigger them at the same time.

if going for hyperbloom: XQ Burst + Kuki E + Kaveh Burst

if neither don't have a Burst, then it's building energy for them. have the second dendro unit create bloom cores alongside XQ E and then trigger them with Kaveh E.

i want to know what teams you use for your characters in genshin all I have is overload and it's not working very well ;-;

I use a lot of characters lol. My main team is sort of an electro charged one: Mona, Raiden Shogun, Kazuha, and Kokomi.

Kokomi is the one constant. I dont do well without a shielder or healer lol.

I kinda switch out characters depending on what i want. Sometimes i use a freeze team, sometimes i use dendro bloom/hyperbloom team. Ive also got heizou so occasionally ill just use a hydro swirl or some other swirl team.

I *want* to get Diluc, in which case my main team will be a vaporize team: Diluc, Mona, Kazuha, Kokomi. Raiden shogun might be switching with kazu or mona sometimes

Overloaded is nice, bit it also throws enemies back which is a bit annoying in my opinion. And to be perfectly honest, i kinda focus more in characters i like than the reactions themselves.

Oh, making note of the team bonuses for double element is good too. My favorite combo is double hydro, because it increases all characters’ HP which makes Kokomis healing more efficient. Double pyro increases attack, double cryo increases crit rate, etc.

since i got kazuha, i literally put him into every team except like 2 hydro hu tao or mono geo. i’m exploring overworld with double hydro hyperbloom (just bc Candance is hot and XQ is her best option in a team), and i’m constantly in “NO GROUPING??” megamind meme
