Remember Me (Avenge Me)
Danny Fenton had no idea what it was, but there was something in the Infinite Realms that felt off. He had felt it for a few days now but he hadn’t been able to pinpoint what exactly that feeling was except that something was in the Realms, something that didn’t belong here. He just needed to find what it was and send it back to where it belonged. But before he could do that, he had to pinpoint the feeling.
The way Danny was connected to the Infinite Realms was weird, he didn’t know how to explain it. Despite the fact that he had turned down the crown and title of King, the connection grew stronger. Clockwork had informed him that the connection was because he was the balance. Despite his desire to live a normal life and not become royalty in the Realms; the Infinite Realms claimed him regardless. Clockwork had told him that it was because he was the balance, that the Realms had claimed him as such. He was the only true halfa in existence, Vlad was starting to turn more ghostly every day, and his body was slowly dying, Ellie was created she hadn’t been born alive and then half died so it wasn’t the same.
But Danny? He had died halfway, he had become half living and half dead and had become basically a Schrodinger’s cat because of it. And since he had this perfect balance to him, he was the one to rule the balance, to keep up with if things in either the land of the living or the land of the dead were out of balance. This resulted in his getting his ass thrown onto the newly created Council of Ancients that ran the Infinite Realms as a fucking junior member because apparently, his connection to the Infinite Realms meant that he was on his way to becoming an ancient. And now he had been stuck with a position of power despite his refusal.
So, because of this, he was immediately alerted by the Infinite Realms themselves that something was wrong. Someone was here that wasn’t meant to be and he had to get them out of here before it threw everything out of wack.
The problem was that the Infinite Realms didn’t tell him where this thing was, all it told him was that something that didn’t belong was there and he needed to find a way to get it out. Which was how he was brought to his current location. He stood in the castle of the Infinite Realms searching through the archives for that Ancient’s damned infini-map because he swore he left it here but where?
“What are you doing?” An annoying, irritating voice asked angrily and Danny turned to find Ghost Writer glaring at him, his arms crossed over his chest. “You are destroying my library.”
“I’m looking for something,” Danny said with a huff before he turned back to the pile of books he was tearing apart to find that stupid fucking map.
“What are you looking for!? I have a system Daniel, a system and you are destroying my library!”
“I’m looking for the stupid map! There’s something in the Infinite Realms that shouldn’t be here but I can’t fucking find it without the map. Where did you put it?” Danny exclaimed, turning on a heel to glare at his enemy.
Ghost Writer scoffed, pressing a hand to his chest in offense. “I didn’t do anything to it except put it in its rightful spot,” he said before summoning the map and holding it out for Danny. “You will be cleaning this up once you finish your blasted mission or else I will be having another conversation with FrostbiteFrosbite regarding your behavior.”
Danny rolled his eyes and snatched the stupid map from him and stormed out of the library, muttering about hateful librarians. Frostbite was the one in charge of Danny until he had actually become an Ancient, had said that he would be responsible for any of the child’s actions until he was old enough to conduct himself. Despite the fact that Danny was twenty-two in living years, he was considered a baby ghost until his hundredth year of existence, he would be considered an ancient upon his five hundredth year of existence. Until then, he was just a baby who couldn’t control himself, according to the other ghosts. It was why he got along so well with Ember, Johnny, Kitty, and Youngblood, they were all still considered baby ghosts as well.
The halfa grumbled to himself as he looked over the map of the Infinite Realms and tried to relax as Clockwork had instructed him, letting his shoulders drop down, letting the tension leave his body. He let out a soft hum as he focused on the pull he felt in his core, the very thing telling him that there was something wrong in the InfiniteInfinte Realms that he needed to fix. Slowly the information on the map started to change and morph and then it appeared.
He let out a groan as the dot appeared in the ghostly version of Gotham, his least favorite part of the Infinite Realms. With an annoyed huff, Danny rolled up the map and stuck it in his chest, and took off out of the castle and through the realms to the worst part of the Infinite Realms.
It wasn’t the ruler of the area that was bad, actually, he adored Lady Gotham, she was a member of the council and the sweetest ghost he had ever met. It was the souls who drove him up the wall. Each one demanded that he solve their murder, demanded that he help them get revenge on this villain or that one and basically drive him insane.
Martha and Thomas Wayne in particular drove him up the wall. The two had approached Danny numerous times begging for him to protect their son, to try and get him to stop whatever it was that he was doing and each time Danny said no. If it didn’t go against the balance of the realms, he didn’t step in. The fact that their son decided to not get help after their murders and become a vigilante in a furry costume to fight crime was not a reason for Danny to intervene. Now if he had summoned his parents and tied their ghosts to him, then Danny would step in.
His job was to make sure that the ghosts passed over and that they stayed in the Infinite Realms rather than cause mayhem in the living realms. Just as he made sure that humans didn’t stay within the Infinite Realms if they ever appeared here. The only one he ever had to deal with was usually John Constantine but at this point, it seemed like he finally got the message.
Danny flew through the Infinite Realms and his feet slowly landed on the ground of Gotham City. He looked around and wrinkled his nose as the tug to his core grew stronger. Yup, whatever was wrong was here. He pulled the map out of his chest and looked at it once more.
“Oh good, you’re here,” a woman said, her voice laced with a strong Jersey Accent.
Danny glanced up and smiled at Lady Gotham who stood before him, her form that of a nineteen-twenties Black woman. She dressed as most women who had been a part of the Harlem Renaissance, or well in the Lady’s case, Gotham RenaissanceReneissance as a lot of the same things that had occurred in Harlem had trickled into Gotham at the time. Her hair sat coifed up in a beautiful afro upon her head, large hoop earrings hug from her lobes and a beautiful flapper-style dress and simple black heels covered her. She was gorgeous beyond words and Danny felt his core flutter at the ghost before him.
“Hi Lady Gotham,” he said with a small smile on his face.
“Hi Danny,” she said before grabbing his wrist and pulling him through the streets of what looked like Upper Gotham. “I’m glad you’re here, I need you to figure out what we should do, he’s not a ghost but he isn’t alive either. I know him but he doesn’t know who he is, he also doesn't know that he’s dead and it’s not right? As in he’s not dead correctly?”
Danny frowned and followed the ancient down the street quickly. “What do you mean he isn’t dead?”
“He’s like you, but not?” Lady Gotham said, screwing her nose up as she frowned.
At that, the halfa let out a soft hum, maybe that was why the Infinite Realms had been bothering him so much to fix this. The two hurried down the streets of Gotham until they approached Wayne Manor and Danny let out a whine.
“Please don’t tell me that Martha and Thomas are here?” He complained.
Lady Gotham just gave him an amused smile and opened the doors to the manor and led him inside. “Alright, Lord Phantom has arrived, we shall let him look at the boy and decide what we should do now.”
Danny sighed and looked over the room to find both Waynes in the sitting room as well as a young boy around the age of fourteen sitting slumped down on the couch, his arms crossed over his chest. He was wearing a ripped-up and destroyed Robin suit, his lips curled up in a scowl.
He looked at the boy and then at the Waynes. “I still don’t understand what I’m doing here,” he said, feeling even more confused. Then his core tugged at the boy roughly and he nearly stumbled at the weight.
He looked at the boy again. “You’re not dead. But you are dead,” he murmured, stepping towards the kid and walking around him slowly as he took him in. He was definitely in a ghost form, the snow-white hair, red eyes, and greenish skin were the giveaway. But there was a strand of black hair at the front of his head, not only that but there was something obviously different about him, something not quite dead.
“Yeah, that’s what they said too,” he grumbled. “Look do you know who the fuck I am? Because these assholes know but they won’t tell me shit.”
Danny frowned, his brow furrowed in concern as he looked the kid over once again and took a seat on the couch with him. “What do you know? Do you remember anything?” he asked, taking the kid’s hand in his and pressing his fingers to the pulse point on his wrist and feeling the dull beats of a heart. It was far too slow, even slower than Danny’s in his human form which only beat five times per minute. This kid’s heart was still beating once per minute.
Robin shrugged his shoulders. “Not much. I woke up wearing these ripped-up clothes and had a major headache, I’m kinda hungry and something feels wrong. I don’t think I’m supposed to be here but I don’t know where I’m supposed to be either.”
Danny hummed and looked him over. “You want answers?” He asked.
“Phantom, you don’t know if it would be more harm than good,” Thomas warned, stepping forward. Danny held a hand up, ignoring the man as he looked down at Jason Todd, a boy who was completely and totally out of balance, who had died before his time and not only that, he didn’t die right.
“You were very scared when you died, but not only that, you were very angry,” Danny said softly, looking Jason in the eyes, ignoring the complaints from the Waynes as Lady Gotham ushered them out of the room. “You went to find your mother, desperate to have her love. But what you got was betrayal, betrayal, and a crazy ass clown who murdered you in cold blood and your dad didn’t make it in time.”
Jason let out a snarl. “He didn’t come, he was supposed to be there, he was supposed to save me.”
“And he didn’t, and you were murdered. You’re angry, aren’t you?” Danny asked, tilting his head to the side as he summoned a small portal that showed a version of Jason Todd clawing himself out of his grave and stumbling out mindlessly, like a zombie almost. Danny looked back at Jason.
“Your name is Jason Todd, you are best known as Robin, Batman’s sidekick, his right-hand man. You were murdered by the Joker and you want revenge, you want to avenge your death,” he said, staring dead into those red eyes of an angry revenant who let out a snarl.
“I want more than revenge, I want the Joker destroyed and I want my dad to be the one to do it. He should have been there,” Jason snarled out, his eyes glowing bright, ectoplasmic green as the anger grew more and more. “And I’ll get him to do it one way or another.”
“Phantom,” Lady Gotham said softly, worry lacing her voice as she watched the scene in front of her in concern.
“A revenant, Lady Gotham, Jason Todd died and became a revenant. He’s so angry with his own murder that he is forcing himself to come back to life to get revenge, even if he didn’t realize it himself. His human form has already dug itself out of the grave, now Jason needs to find a conduit to send him from our world to the human world once again.”
“And how are you going to do that?” The ghost asked, looking down at Jason who was now stewing in his own anger.
Danny quirked up his lips in a small smile and looked over at the small portal showing him what was happening in the world of the living. “Nothing, look,” he said as Talia al Ghul approached Jason’s zombie-like body and pulled him into a nondescript car. “The League of Assassins have found him. He will likely be dipped into the Lazarus pits and reconnected with his body.”
“So we just leave him like this until they do that?” Lady Gotham asked incredulously.
Danny looked back at Jason and shook his head. “No, we’ll make sure they pull him through. But we won’t be able to stop the rage he is going to feel, he’s angry and he wants revenge. And that anger isn’t going to go away until he finds that revenge.”
“Revenants die after they get their revenge, Phantom. He’s going to live a half-life up there, one full of anger and heartbreak and then he’s going to die again,” she said sadly, looking at one of her wards.
At that, the Lord of Balance let out a hum and took Jason’s hand in his. “No, he won’t. Jason Todd is going to live a very long life,” he declared as he collected a handful of ectoplasm and slowly pressed it into the revenant’s chest. “The ecto will keep him alive well into his eighties unless he somehow dies on the job or something else. Jason Todd, upon getting revenge for your death, you have my blessing as Phantom, Lord of Balance to continue living until your time has truly come. Do not waste this second shot at life,” he advised softly.
Jason tore his eyes away from the hole he had been burning into the ground and looked at Danny. “I can go back?” He whispered softly.
Danny just nodded and gave him a small smile. “Go back, get your revenge, and then live a very long and happy life. I don’t want to see you again for a very long time, do you understand?”
He swallowed and nodded his head. “Yes, yeah I can do that.”
The halfa gave him a small, secretive smile. “The rage you are going to feel is not a bad thing, it’s what’s going to keep you going, what’s going to keep you alive. Learn how to use it for more than just anger, okay? Learn to live with the rage and learn to live again.”
“How do I use it for more than just anger?” Jason whispered. “I’m so angry I want to kill I want to destroy everything.”
“You’ll remind yourself that not everyone gets a second chance, you’ll remind yourself that you are very lucky to be able to live again, many ghosts would kill for that chance. So you won’t waste it, right? You won’t waste my gift in allowing you to live after you’ve gotten your revenge.”
Jason shook his head and shot forward, hugging Danny tight. “Thank you.”
Danny just smiled and hugged him back as a portal opened behind Jason. He pulled away from the revenant and shoved him through the portal roughly.
“Are you sure this is a wise decision?” Lady Gotham asked softly watching through Danny’s portal as Jason came through the Lazarus Pits with a gasp.
Danny nodded his head. “Yup. He’s not meant for our world, not yet. But he’s going to be a very strong ghost one day. But until then, he deserves life.”
“What are you going to do about the Observants?”
Danny smiled and picked up a small green post-it note from where Jason had just been sitting. “I think we will find that they won’t put up that much of a fight,” he said, showing the note to Lady Gotham.

This is my entry into the BatPham Disney AU summer event!
Shaytan Alhufra
The Hunchback of Notre Dame AU
[Read on Ao3]
Day 1
(Death/Resurrection)
“Mom and Dad are out this weekend, and Jazz is planning on spending the whole time at the library, if you guys want to come over,” Danny said conversationally one day over the lunch table as he stirred the gravy into what passed for mashed potatoes.
“Can’t.” Sam stabbed a cucumber slice out of her salad angrily. “My mom is taking me dress shopping for some party over the summer.”
“Me, either, dude,” Tucker said, struggling to open his milk carton. “Lex Corp is unveiling a new prototype drone and I want to watch the live demonstration. Last time something caught on fire, it was awesome.”
“Oh, okay.” Danny squashed his disappointment and fear. He really didn’t want to be alone in the house right now. Not with the empty hole in the wall in the basement. His parents said the portal didn’t work, that it might never work if they couldn’t figure out what was going on with it, but that didn’t stop the feeling that something was lurking in the darkness, beckoning to him. “Maybe I can come over and watch it with you?”
“Yeah, that sounds like fun,” Tucker said, giving up on his mangled milk carton. Sam took it with a sigh and opened it easily and handed it back to him. “You boys have fun. I’m going to try to negotiate for only one petticoat this time.”
“Ew, people still wear those?” Tucker asked, recoiling from her with a grimace.
“No, and I don’t know why Mom insists I do.”
Danny couldn’t stop himself from laughing at his friends' dual looks of disgust. This weekend would be fine. He would be fine.
***
Danny unlocked the front door to the empty house and let himself in. It was dark, but enough light was filtering in through the living room windows that he didn’t feel the need to turn on a light. He locked the door behind himself and made his way to the kitchen. Tucker’s family was great. They never treated him any differently for what his parents did for a living and avoided the subject since they knew it made him uncomfortable. His parents studied ghosts, something that can’t even be proven. How did they expect him to make friends when he was the but of all the other kid’s jokes on career day?
Danny sighed and filled a glass with water from the sink. Even the city water was safer to drink than the pitcher in the fridge, stored next to ectoplasm samples, because why would they put a fridge in the lab when they have a perfectly good one in the kitchen? Mr. Foley had cooked dinner, spaghetti, and meatballs with garlic bread and salad, and Danny was always thankful for a dinner he didn’t have to kill a second time. He finished his water and put the glass in the almost full dishwasher. He should run it, but he didn’t know if Jazz would eat when she came home, so he left it. He could run it in the morning either way.
Right now he wanted to go to bed and sleep while his parents were out and the constant noise from the lab was at an all-time low. It was never really quiet in the lab, with too many machines whirring and beeping with ongoing experiments, too much electricity surging through the wires, but without his parents tinkering and exclamations of discovery or disappointment it was almost eerie how quiet it was. Danny walked quickly past the basement door and headed up the stairs to his room. He made it about halfway when he heard it. There was a skittering. Something was moving around in the lab. A mouse? He hoped not. He saw what ectoplasm did to hotdogs, he did not want to see what it did to a mouse. He opened the basement door on silent hinges and padded his way down the stairs. He didn’t dare turn on a light in case he scared the mouse away. He crept across the lab, eyes on the edges and corners of the room where he knew mice liked to hide. He didn’t see anything, but it was pretty dark.
He heard it again, the quiet almost non-existent whisper of tiny feet on metal from behind him. He turned, dread pooling in his stomach, toward what he knew was behind him. The empty void of the broken portal. Its metal jaws stretched seven feet in each direction, but it felt much bigger than that. Cables and wires hung from the walls and spilled from its open end like the tongue of some great beast. Someone could mistake it for dead, but Danny felt in his gut that it was sleeping. The beast was sleeping and a mouse was running around in its mouth. He didn’t know what it was that made him take a step forward, to enter that great maw. Some stupidity or bravery took hold of him and he placed one foot into the void. Then the other. Then one more step and his foot caught on a loose cable.
You hear, sometimes, of how people in extreme situations say the world slowed down around them. He and Jazz had watched a documentary about it, once. The doctors they had talked to said it had something to do with the adrenaline and your body’s reaction to sudden stress. It had never really come up again. He was so rarely in life-threatening situations. But as soon as his foot caught on the cable and he started tipping forward he saw everything. His hands shot up on their own accord, he saw the button, grey like the surrounding metal, and felt it hit his palm and depress. He heard the beast around him wake up and shudder to life. A ball of green fire built in the depths of its throat and sparked along the metal, raced up his arm and across his chest. He saw it all before the pain registered. He barely had time to scream before everything went green and then faded to black.
***
Ra’s Al Ghul walked into the chamber like he owned the world. In essence, he did. He owned the world and ruled it from the shadows, the same way he had been doing for centuries. He was rarely surprised anymore, and when something did happen to surprise him he often took interest in it. He circled the pool of Lazarus water, his underlings bowing their heads in deference or fear, he didn’t care which. Something was happening that he had never seen before. The pool was bubbling, almost like it was boiling, except the temperature hadn’t changed. A dark vapor poured off the surface and gathered and swirled around the roof of the chamber. It hung there like a cloud threatening a storm.
Suddenly he saw something in the water, something pale white floating up to the surface.
“Everyone out,” He said quietly. He needn’t shout, everyone obeyed him without question. Soon he was alone in the room watching whatever it was slowly make its way to the surface. It took several minutes and several more slow circles of the pool for the body to emerge. Ra’s carefully pulled the body from the water and laid it down on the cool stone. It was a boy, young, maybe mid-teens, with pale skin tinged blue and hair as white as fresh snow. The clothes he had been wearing, a simple t-shirt and blue jeans, were in tatters, burned away and barely hanging on. Ra’s checked the boy’s neck for a pulse. He didn’t find one, instead, he found a green mark like lightning branching up his neck and face, and disappearing under the collar of his ruined shirt. Ra’s pulled the garment off and it practically disintegrated in his hands. The lighting stretched across the boy’s chest and down his left arm, ending in a nasty-looking burn on his palm that oozed a vibrant green fluid.
“Pit demon.” he spat, standing up quickly and taking a few steps back. He had heard of them and read about them in texts. How they had come out of the pits and wreaked havoc on whoever was unfortunate enough to be near. How they bled a green more vibrant than anything that occurred in nature, even the pits paled in comparison. Ra’s had half a mind to separate its head from its body and bury them in separate parts of the world before it woke up and started causing problems. But then it stirred and choked, sitting up quickly and vomiting Lazarus water onto the stone floors. Its arms shook as it held itself up. Then it stood up, rising on unsteady feet that quickly left the ground. It’s arms flailed in wide circles and it wobbled in the air. It was like it had never flown before like it was a baby. A cruel smile found its way onto Ra’s face. The Lazarus pits had given him a baby pit demon, and he had an idea of how it could be of use to him.
He was even kind enough to bestow upon it a name: Shaytan Alhufra, Demon of the Pit.

Writing Excerpt from “Ghost Town”
—(In Progress)
—DPxDCDisneyAU2023
“What the hell Jazz?!”
“Don’t start with me Danny, I am tired,” she ignored him and brushed off his anger like it didn’t matter. He knew logically there would be more parties and things to do throughout high school, but he couldn’t think logically right then.
“Stop acting like an old woman Jazz, you’re sixteen!” Danny pulled his hair, wanting to scream. “If you keep me from going out and doing stuff like this, how do you expect me to grow as a person?”
“I think that you will grow just fine Danny,” she patted him on the shoulder and went to the kitchen. His jaw dropped at the pure audacity out of his big sister.
Danny plopped into a nearby chair and banged his head on the nearest flat surface to him. Groaning loudly and waving his arms around, he called out, “Fine! Guess I’ll just grow then–into a vegetable! I’ll be a couch potato and I’ll never leave the house again, just planting roots into the ground until you have to start watering me.”
Jazz came back out at his complaints and raised her eyebrows. He knew he was being dramatic, she knew it too–did he care? Hell no. He would be the most annoying little brother he could be until she apologized for ruining his life year after year.

What a man can do
POTC AU!!! Jason as Elizabeth Swan, Roy as Will Turner and Jazz as Jack Sparrow.
For @dpxdcdisneyau !!!
The Kraken wasn't after the Black Pearl, it was after her Captain, Jasmine Fenton. Jason's choice was heavy in his heart, but not difficult to make. After all, he needed to keep his fiancé safe. Or a Pirates of the Caribbean AU that no one asked for but I'm here to deliver.
Day 1: Resurrection/Death
[Read on AO3][Read on FFN]
---
The silence was deafening.
After blowing up the sack filled with gunpowder — and sadly, all the rum — Jason barely had time to gather his bearings. They had to get moving. The Kraken would be back any minute, and that meant they had to start running.
He glanced at where Roy was still shaking his head, his clothes singed and drenched at the same time as he tried to sit up from the deck of the destroyed ship.
“Did we kill it?” One of the crew members asked, voice small.
“No.” Someone responded. “We just made it angry.”
Jason looked back at Jazz, knowing what that meant. She didn’t even look back at him, eyes fixed on the disturbed waters, searching. The rifle was still smoking in her hands from when she took the decisive shot.
Since Jason met the strange woman, this pirate, he had always seen her being something she wasn’t. Cocky, playful, and completely inappropriate for a lady, Jazz had been all those things and more. During their adventure she did everything in her power to not show her true feelings.
Right then and there? He saw the truth that hid beneath the surface.
Her teal eyes left the seas and focused on him. She wasn’t laughing anymore.
“Captain, orders!” The crew shouted from the still burning rubble on the other side of the deck.
Jazz’s eyes struggled to leave his for a moment. She took a deep breath and promptly marched down the stairs towards the main deck, casually walking by Roy standing up. Jason rushed to help him, ignoring the pointed stare he gave him. Lately Roy gave him many of those, with a slight frown accompanying them.
“Abandon ship,” Captain Jazz threw the rifle to her first mate, Skulker. “Into the longboat.”
Abandon ship?
Jason glanced at the rest of the crew, the confused glances not missed by anybody. Still, everyone started moving at the Captain’s orders — Jazz had done incredible feats and always landed on her feet.
Skulker walked up to her, one hand reaching but aborting the movement. “But— The Pearl…”
It was no secret that the first mate was as fond of the ship almost as much as the Captain. It was one of a kind, after all.
Jazz avoided everyone’s eyes. “She’s only a ship.” She frowned, looking down.
Jason knew it was bullshit the moment the words left her mouth. Jazz had done so much to get her ship back, even risking her own life — and everyone else’s — more than once. She once told him, in confidence, that she needed the ship to find someone; but she never explained who or why. Just that she needed the Pearl.
Still, he jumped to support her. “She’s right. We have to head for land.”
Their eyes met for a moment, gratitude in her intense blue.
Youngblood turned his head, shocked. “There’s a lot of open water.”
“We have to try. We can get away as it takes down the Pearl.” Roy jumped in too. He had this charm, different from Jazz’s mysterious strikes of genius hidden under a funny personality, that made people listen to him.
It was one of the things Jason liked about his best friend and the man he almost married. Roy was ride or die and loyal to boot, and he knew how to step up and lead if it was necessary. When he was taken away from him, when the bastard of Vlad Masters forced him on an impossible quest, Jason was completely ready to go on a rampage if it meant getting him back — damn his family’s reputation and whatever people expected of him for being a Wayne.
Skulker nodded at him, but he clearly didn’t like it. “Abandon ship.” He kept nodding, looking around the destroyed vessel. “Abandon ship or abandon hope.”
Jason let the crew follow Roy as they figured out lowering the boat and setting up their escape plan. Instead, he stayed put and watched as Jasmine, proud Captain of the Black Pearl, walked around what was left of her ship with longing in her expression.
There was tenderness in the way her hands caressed the weathered surface of the mast, saying goodbye for the last time. Jazz was not the kind of Captain that abandoned ship, and yet she was mourning her precious ship she had fought so hard for. It was almost like she was accepting something she didn’t want to accept, something she had been running away from for a long time.
Jason had his suspicions. He eyed her bandaged hand, his mind making the connections.
He approached the mourning Captain, making sure his body language was disarmed and welcoming. “Thank you, Jazz.”
She turned, one eyebrow raised. “We are not free yet, love.”
Of course.
“You came back.” He said, walking closer. He knew she liked him, and while she cracked jokes and tried many times to flirt with him, she never actually made a move. “I always knew you were a good woman.”
He didn’t miss how her eyes immediately traveled to his lips, her breath catching a little. She wanted him.
Jason closed the distance and captured her mouth in a long awaited kiss. He smiled against her lips when she immediately grabbed his face, her long and nimble fingers softly pushing his drying curls away.
Jazz moaned into the kiss, her hands coursing down his body like she couldn’t believe she was allowed to. He pushed them closer to the mast, the pirate’s back flushed against the wood and completely melted under his kiss. She wanted him. And yet—
Click!
Their eyes met, but all the fire was gone. Did she see the cold determination in his eyes? He could see the grief come back rampant into hers.
“It’s after you, not the ship.” He said. Jazz smiled softly. “It’s not us.” He licked his lips, not missing her look at them for a second. “This is the only way, don’t you see?” He got closer, maybe to kiss her one last time, maybe not. In the end he chose not to. “I am not sorry.”
And he wasn’t.
This would stop the Kraken from following him, following Roy. It didn’t matter if Jazz had this mysterious personal quest to find somebody — whoever that person was, it was not worth him losing everything again. People were dying and if Jason could do this one thing to save them, he would do it. Even if it meant killing Jasmine. It was his burden to bear.
She seemed to understand him.
“Pirate.” She threw without much heat.
Jason hesitated for one second before turning away and leaving the Captain chained to her ship.
Roy was waiting for him at the boat with questions written all over his face. He was a good man, he had tried so hard to get his shit together and make an honest life for himself after Oliver adopted him. If Jason was becoming a pirate, if he was so willing to make such a dishonorable choice, he didn’t want to involve the only good thing in his life like this.
“Where’s Jazz?”
Jason busied himself with getting the boat ready to go. “She elected to stay behind to give us a chance.”
Roy was quiet for a second. He said the wrong thing, he was lying, and somehow he knew Roy knew he was lying. Would he call him out? Would anyone else question Jazz’s sudden change of heart?
He looked up to find his fiancé giving him a pointed stare. He could say something, he could tell the truth, and yet… he couldn’t find the words. He would tell him, later, when they were all safe. When they could put all of this behind.
In the meantime, he needed them to be safe.
He looked at the crew that was watching the conversation with wide eyes. They hesitated, glancing at where Jazz was still chained to the mast, but from this angle they wouldn’t see anything. “Go!” He shouted.
They made quick work and put as much distance as they could between them and the doomed ship and its Captain.
Jason’s eyes never left the dark shape in the distance, not even when the Kraken emerged from the depths and dragged it deep down to the waters, with Jasmine inside it.

My Day 2 submission for @dpxdcdisneyau!
Rating: Teen and Up Pairing: Jazz Fenton/Dick Grayson Additional Characters: Dani Phantom, Pandora, Hades Warnings: Canon typical violence, an instance of sexual harassment as well as references to past incidents Summary:
It was always one thing or another. To other humans she was a hair's breadth too close to death to be considered one of them. To ghosts like the Observants she was too mortal to have a place alongside even her family. To prove once and for all that she belongs, Jazz embarks on a journey to become a true hero and sets her sights on Thebes. Through battling monster and saving innocents, to falling in love and thwarting a dastardly plot, Jazz will find that belonging is more than just a matter of principal, but something of the heart.

Disney Week Is Coming Up!!!
Tumblr media
Disney Week is coming up in just a few weeks!
That being said, I thought it could be fun to share some prompts for anyone struggling to come up with ideas but want to participate nonetheless! These are not required, if you have a different idea go for it! These are just some fun prompts to share for anyone struggling to think of something for each day.
Some fun prompts to explore:
Day 1: Resurrection/Death
Coco AU: Tim gets in an argument with the bats that results in him getting thrown into the Infinite Realms. Now he has to find his way back to the world of the living before time runs out and he becomes a ghost forever.
Snow White AU: Danny runs away from Amity after his parents try to destroy him and finds himself adopted by the Wayne Family. Now it's Danny Fenton and the 7 Waynes (Bruce, Dick, Jason, Tim, Duke, Cass, Damian) the Fentons find him and manage to break Danny's core. Now the Waynes need to find out a way to bring their beloved Danny back to life.
Big Hero 6 AU: Jazz is murdered and Danny thinks it's his fault, he joins a hero team to find out who killed his sister and why. The hero team he joins? up to you.
Day 2: Monster/Damsel in Distress
A bat is the victim of a cult ritual but it backfires and turns the batkid into a frog. A ghost finds the frog and is like oh only a kiss from a royal can turn you back! Good thing I know the royal family in the Infinite Realms!
Sleeping Beauty Au where Danny has been put under a curse and his ghosts start kidnapping people far and wide to wake him up. A member of the batfam wakes him up with a kiss
The pit demon inside of Jason wells up and turns him into an uncontrollable monster, now the Bats are fighting against time to find someone to fix Jason and bring him back to normal. (loosely based off of Turning Red and the Red Panda being out of control)
Day 3: Ohana/Loss
Lilo and Stitch AU: Jason Todd passed away and Dick finds himself struggling to move on. One night he sees a shooting star and prays for an angel to become his friend. What he gets instead is a wounded, angry Danny Fenton who is running away from the GIW/Fentons/Infinite Realms whatever you choose.
Strange World AU: In an effort to save the world, Bruce, Dick, and Tim find themselves going into the Infinite Realms to find something to help. What they find instead is halfa Jason Todd who decided he didn't want to go back home after dying.
Encanto AU(kinda): Duke discovers one day that the Wayne Manor is actually sentient and the entire home is being possessed by a ghost named Danny who has been spending the last ten years protecting the Wayne Family from harm. He befriends the house because he's the only one who can actually see Danny.
Frozen AU: Danny and Damian are brothers who were separated from one another. Danny has ice powers and accidentally hurt someone and ran away from home because of it. Damian goes looking for his brother to bring him back.
Day 4: Power of Love/Revenge Curse
in a fight against Klarion, a spell is cast on a member of Young Justice that puts them under a sleeping spell, the only way to save them is to find King Phantom of the Infinite Realms and see if he can break the curse.
howl's moving castle au where a member of the Batfamily angered a ghost and was aged to that of an eldery person. In an effort to find a way to fix it, the bat goes searching for someone to help them and meet Phantom, a powerful ghost from the Infinite Realms who is trying to avoid being crowned as King of the Infinite Realms.
Ella Enchanted AU where Danny has been cursed to be obedient by Vlad. He goes on a journey to find a way to break the curse put upon him and in doing so meets Jason Todd who has just recently died and is trying to find his way back to his family and the two work together to find a way to fix what has been done to them.
Day 5: Childhood/Adulthood
Damian learns one day that he has a twin who lives in a completely different world than him and makes the journey to the Infinite Realms to meet the twin he never knew he had. (Based off of Tinker Bell: Secret of the Wings)
The Ghost King is forced to hold a ball to find a consort.the batkid who dances with him leaves a birdarang or batarang behind and now it's like finding a needle in a haystack ("have you seen how many there are out there? one's a starfish!")
Mary Poppins AU: Danny is Mary Poppins and becomes a nanny for the Wayne Kids (maybe a no vigilante AU?)
Again, these are not required, these are just ideas for anyone who's wanting to write or draw something but can't think of what they want to do! Just some ideas to point people into a direction.
I hope they help and I can't wait to see you all participating in Disney Week!!

Shaytan Alhufra
(Day 2, Monster/Damsel in Distress)
[Day 1][Read on Ao3]
Shaytan crouched on the short wall that surrounded the roof of the tower and watched the people far below work. He liked to watch the people move around the city and go about their lives, flitting between work and school before going home to their families. Today was special, though. The city below hummed with activity and workers were setting up for a festival in the empty square right below his tower. They did this every year when the snow melted and the city began to warm from the winter chill. Stalls and booths were erected practically overnight and a large stage was set up right in the middle. There would be bands and performers playing all day and men and women on stilts and acrobats and jugglers and magicians and at the end of the day, there would be a costume contest. He liked to watch, but there was an itch under his skin, urging him to go down and join in. He leaned against one of the gargoyles guarding his tower, considering.
“Oh, Sam.” He whispered, brushing off a bit of moss that had started to grow around her wings. “I can’t go down there. I don’t belong with the people.” Shaytan ran a finger along the long white scars on his face. He knew his left eye was a frightening and unusual green. He was a monster and didn’t belong among the civilians. “And anyway, Master would be angry.” He could practically feel the side eye from the stone eyes, but he ignored her. She was stone, she didn’t get to give him attitude.
He glanced over to the other gargoyle on the opposite corner of the roof. He had named that one Tucker, and he, too, was giving Shaytan a judging stare. “I can’t! I’d be in so much trouble if Master found out.” He had seen his Master upset with him a few times, but he would be absolutely livid if he left the tower without permission.
A voice in the back of his head that he associates with Tucker whispered “If he found out.”
“If he found out,” he answered the voice, “I’d be thrown back into the pit where he found me!”
“But if he doesn’t find out, you could join the carnival. See the costumes up close. Listen to the music. No one has to see you.” he could practically see the conspiring smile spread across the gargoyle's face.
“I can’t use my powers without permission.” He thumbed at the silver and green cuffs around his wrists, keeping his powers under control. “It’s too dangerous.” He can barely control them whenever Master takes the cuffs off for his assignments. The last time he hadn’t been able to stay tangible for more than a few minutes and only his Master’s quick reactions had kept him from falling into the earth.
“You could wear a mask. Everyone does, it wouldn’t look strange,” Sam’s voice said, cutting through his thoughts.
“Not you, too,” he said, turning, betrayed, to the stone guardian at his back. He stood up on the wall and started walking toward Tucker, balancing as easy as breathing on the narrow ledge. “It wouldn’t matter, Master would find out.”
“How? There are so many people there, he wouldn’t notice you among them.” Tucker said. “Wear a mask and a hood. Keep your head down and don’t draw attention to yourself. You can do this.” Shaytan sighed and looked down at the people below. He could. There would be hundreds of people there. As long as he didn’t draw attention to himself and kept his face hidden he could sneak out. Master is always so busy this time of year anyway, he wouldn’t even notice he was gone.
Shaytan sighed. “I can’t believe I’m actually considering this.”
“Who are you talking to?”
Shaytan didn’t jump, but he was sure the tension in his shoulders gave his fright away. “Master! Good morning!” He turned and bowed to Ra’s al Ghul quickly before standing up straight. He kept his eyes on the knot of his Master’s red tie. “I was just talking to my…friends,” he finished lamely, gesturing toward the gargoyles behind him.
“Tch,” his Master tsked, his displeasure clear. “And are your… friends… real?”
“No, sir,” Shaytan replied quickly, ignoring the pang of betrayal that flared in his chest.
“Good, boy. Come, It’s time for your lessons.”
“Yes, sir. Thank you, sir.”
***
Hours later Shaytan collapsed against the short wall, exhausted. His Master had not gone easy on him, and he was going to be feeling it for a few days. He rubbed a hand into the large bruise blossoming on his shoulder from a bad fall and let his head fall back against the brick. “I’m going to that carnival,” he said for no one but the gargoyles to hear.
***
Kai roared into Gotham City, weaving his cherry red motorcycle through traffic, around midday and immediately had to detour to avoid some festival that was being set up. He groaned, as his directions were very specific and the detour had put him in an area of the city he had never been in before. He had been sent by his father as a favor to an associate of his, a man called Ra’s al Ghul. No one had told him what he would be expected to do for the man, and he wasn’t particularly looking forward to it. It wouldn’t matter, in the long run, if he couldn’t find Luthor Towers in the first place. He spotted a couple of police officers walking a beat and he pulled up beside them, flipping up his visor.
“Excuse me, officers. Can you tell me how to…” He trailed off as the officers ignored him completely, heading down an alley. “Or not,” he said.
Kai wished his father had given him a phone, but Lex Luthor, rich as he was, was never one to just hand him solutions to problems. He’d have to figure this out on his own. No problem, he just had to head back toward the city center and make his way from there. Kai kicked his bike into gear and headed up a narrow alley and onto a mostly deserted street. Mostly, because off to the side was a busker selling photographs— being harassed by the same officers who had ignored him.
“Where did you get this money, huh?” the taller officer asked, pulling the busker's camera bag toward him, and spilling a few dollars onto the dirty pavement.
“Stole it, most likely,” the shorter officer said, grabbing the busker by his shoulder and pushing him against the wall.
Kai got his first good look at the busker and his breath caught in his throat. He was beautiful, pale skin contrasted sharply with the dark hair that spilled from the loose bun at the back of the man’s head. Eyes like sapphires burned fiercely as he faced the two officers.
“I earned it, for your information,” he said, wrenching his shirt out of the officer’s hand. It stayed crumpled and stretched out, showing a hint of a collarbone. His hands fell on the expensive-looking camera around his neck.
“Yeah, and how’d trash like you afford a camera like that?” the taller officer asked, reaching for the camera. The man twisted, putting one of his arms through the camera strap, and tucking it safely to his side as he did. The shorter officer moved to grab him around the waist, but the man ducked, grabbing his camera bag in a single movement, before embedding a knee in the taller officer’s stomach and making a run for it, straight past Kai and up and over a fence.
The officers were up and chasing after him in a second. Kai moved without thinking, putting his bike in between the man and the officers who didn’t have time to react. They slammed into him at full speed, falling back on their butts with a groan.
“I’m sorry about that.” he said, not bothering to hide the amusement in his voice “I didn’t see you there.
“I’ll have you arrested for that!” the taller officer said.
“Of course, but before that, could you tell me how to get to Luthor Towers? I’m expected.” Kai held out a card to the man. On it was a seal that belonged to Ra’s al Ghul himself. The men paled when they recognized it, babbling apologies and promising to get him there as quickly as possible, even offering him a police escort, which he declined. As he was leaving he saw some cash on the ground that must have fallen out of the photographer’s bag. He put it into the jar of the next homeless person he saw and thought nothing more of it.
***
When Kai made it to the Towers he was led immediately to an elevator that took him directly to the top floor. The doors opened and he was greeted by a very nervous-looking officer standing guard outside of the large mahogany door. The officer opened the door and led him into a large bright room. The penthouse was not set up as a living space, rather it functioned as a secondary office for when Lex visited Gotham on business and it showed. Most of the decor was modern, white, chrome, and glass, except for an oak desk that sat centered in front of two large plate glass windows overlooking a beautiful view of Gotham City with Metropolis just visible across the bay. Ra’s must have had the desk brought in because Lex’s own desk was sleek steel and glass. The man himself, Ra’s al Ghul, stood with his back to the door, looking over the city. A green silk robe with gold trim flowed from his shoulders and just swept the floor.
The officer stopped a few feet short of the desk and gave a nervous bow. “Sir.” Ra’s turned to face them. From the way everyone was acting, he was expecting someone more physically intimidating. Ra’s was older than he was expecting, and slimmer, with salt and pepper hair and deep lines carved into his face. Under the robe, he wore a surprisingly normal three-piece suit with a red tie. The officer stood from his bow and gestured to Kai. “Kai Luthor is here to see you.”
“Thank you, officer, you are dismissed.”
The officer bowed again and all but ran from the room, leaving Kai alone with the infamous Demon’s Head. Ra’s regarded him for a long time with a clinical eye, like he was an interesting specimen under a microscope.  Kai clasped his hands behind his back and stood up straighter under the inspection. “I want to thank you for coming so quickly. I have been following your progress for a long while now.”
“Of course, sir,” Kai said stiffly, realizing suddenly why Lex had put him through so much discipline training. This man’s presence demanded respect. Ra’s came around the desk and circled Kai. He struggled to not follow the man’s movements. He was forcibly reminded of scientists in white coats surrounding him and inspecting every inch when he first emerged from his cloning pod.
When Ra’s finished his slow circle he turned back to the desk and picked up a crystal decanter filled with a dark amber liquid. “You represent a great achievement in science and technology, as I’m sure your father has told you.” The crystal clinked against the matching tumbler as Ra’s poured himself a drink. He took a sip and sighed before he continued. “Think of this assignment as a bit of a proving ground, to see how profitable that investment has turned out.”
“Yes, sir,” Kai said, inclining his head. “I apologize, what is the assignment?”
Ra’s tuned, glass in hand. “Come, walk with me.” He didn't look back as he walked, fully expecting Kai to follow.
They walked through a sliding door hidden in the wall and directly onto the roof of the building. The cold early spring wind plucked at Kai's hair and set Ra's robe billowing. The man walked right to the brick wall around the edge and looked down at the city and Kai stood next to him. “I’m sure you are aware of the Batman and his Robins. They have been a millstone around the neck of this city, preventing it from progressing. I have been attempting to track them down and eradicate them, but they are slippery beasts. I believe they have a lair somewhere in the city and I want you to find it.”
Kai felt a heavy weight settling into his gut but forced himself to ask. “When I find them, what would you like me to do?”
Ra’s gave him a cruel smile and in a swift motion smashed the glass on the brick without flinching at the injury to his hand.
Kai suppressed a shudder and took a deep breath before he spoke. “You make your point quite vividly, sir. When should I start?”
“There is a carnival tomorrow in Old Gotham Square.” Ra’s said, pulling a green handkerchief from his pocket and wrapping his hand. “The Bats are sure to be in attendance. Start there, and we will have them in hand this time tomorrow.”
“Consider it done, sir,” Kai said. The weight in his stomach grew. He may have bitten off more than he could chew.
