How much would junko have gotten done without mukuro? because as dangerous and plenty intelligent and capable she is on her own, she got a lot of things done thanks to mukuro, right? not that that stopped her from killing her off, of course.

How much did Mukuro handle, actually? Bc I'm not sure Mukuro really was necessary for anything besides maintaining Junko's cover.

As far as I recall, helping to keep Junko's obvious absence obscured during DR0 and DR1 is really her biggest part. Kamukura was instrumental on more than one occasion, however. It was Kamukura's presence that ensured the Student Council Killing Game went off without a hitch as well as causing many of the events in Ultra Despair Girls AND the entire killing game in DR2.

Mukuro may be the muscle on certain occasions, but I don't really think she handles much that Junko couldn't do herself... besides imitating Junko when she's indisposed, ofc.

Looking back at danganronpa 1 cuz I’m watching the game grumps playthrough and it occurred to me that there really shouldn’t be a difference in how the execution happens between the bad ending and the good ending? At least, not that I can tell right away. maybe the difference is supposed to be that by covering for kyoko and making the trial last a bit longer, makoto unwittingly buys time for alter ego to get into the system and stop the execution, which doesn’t happen if he just lets kyoko get voted guilty? It’s unclear but i think that might be it, actually: by covering for kyoko, makoto made the trial last longer, giving alter ego time to find a way to interrupt the execution. also the execution was designed poorly from the start considering it sent the victim into the trashpit instead of just ending under the press but tbh i dont think the mastermind was really concerned about that.

"This was my first trip without Drae or Nana since I originally left from Gridania, and it made me kinda nervous to even climb aboard the ship. But what a journey it was!
