I went to band camp for marching band for the first time, and I found out that the marching band staff was trying to get us involved in a ‘pyramid scheme’ and they were trying to kill us. Later I pulled out my trombone and started sniping the staff with it from a hotel window. I shot a couple before I tried to shoot one of the band directors, who kept dodging.

I keep mentioning Hickory and Dickory travelling by cart but have neglected to actually show whatever's pulling that cart anyway this is Ziege. Probably hails from the same mountain environment as the brothers, was probably named by Dickory because he's just as creative at naming things as his parents were. They're good at emotional support and have mixed feelings on Rhonda when she finally shows up. We're all going to pretend they've been here this whole time.

Fact: Julius Caesar didn't actively try to conquer the village since Astérix and Son.

Doylist answer: The authors (Uderzo, then Conrad and co) simply wish to diversify their story and not to have Julius Caesar plotting against the Gauls in every book he appears. Besides, there were some attempts in Astérix and the Secret Weapon and Astérix and the White Lily. It's only a matter of time until we get a new comic book with Caesar actively plotting against the village.

Watsonian answer: Caesar's resolve to conquer the village softened ever since they took care of Caesarion and protected him from Brutus's troops. Maybe seeing his sworn enemies caring for his son weakened his will to conquer them and, if he does plot, his schemes seem less threatening and dangerous than usual.
