GUYSGUYSGUYS hi:) I forgot to post the photos of my last cons (I’ve been to two since I posted the other photos of friend and ghostbur cosplay) and I’ve recently taken up cosplaying Karl! So here’s some photos of that and I’m gonna post some hc’s I have of the dsmp lol

If I had a nickle for every time I had a dream that involved me meeting a Fable smp cast member cause we were involved in some sort of irl roleplay thing, but plot twist it was actually happening and I was the only one who could see this was beyond a silly rp game, but was trying to think it wasn't because they knew what they were doing...

I'd have 2 nickles... which isn't a lot... but it weird that it's happened twice...

Indeed they would. In fact, this point actually pushed me to ask my sister-in-law, who is a therapist/counselor about it just out of curiosity. 

Here’s what I learned:

Despite what my counselor said, not all therapists were required in school to do counseling themselves to get certified. Some counselors have actually never even been to therapy themselves (not sure how I feel about that to be honest… not to deter people from going to therapy - please do if you are able) something my sister-in-law didn’t seem to be a big fan of.

When asked if she felt like she needed counseling after/because of a specific client she said that yes that can definitely be the case. She noted that empathy fatigue is often common after listening to people all day, which makes sense and that would be a common reason for some needed personal counseling. As expected, while she hasn’t had to deal with a lot of it, she did note that dealing with people with antisocial behavior disorders (ie narcissistic, histrionic… think sociopath disorders) can be especially taxing.

Given that the dsmp is a group of povs of the same story and events, I was curious on whether she often found herself taking sides when she does couples counseling. She said that there can be an initial bias at first when the base facts are presented to her, which is something she often has to check herself on, but that actually she finds that usually there is truth and wrongdoing on both sides and there is no true ‘bad guy.’ Though she did add that she has not dealt with any relationships involving more intense abuse especially relating to antisocial behavior disorders. In other words, the couples she sees likely came willingly and are sound enough in mind on both sides to want to fix the problems, if that makes sense.

So in other words, there are, much to my surprise, counselors who do not go (may not have gone) to therapy themselves, but that doesn’t make it healthy and considering the characters in the dsmp it would likely be recommended that this counselor also see someone. I will say though the implication that people in the dsmp are more problematic then real world people are is perhaps an underestimation of irl mental illness. Just because the dsmp members wear armor and carry around weapons doesn't make them more troublesome than people irl, though perhaps that is me viewing it from their world standards which I assume the therapist would be from. In either case, whether the therapist was from the realm of Minecraft world circumstances or more irl, I do imagine they being either inhumanly sane and not need a therapist of their own, or they get together with another therapist and perhaps drink over all the dsmp insanity. And whether they would be inclined to take sides I think is hard to say since there are definitely some characters who need a psych ward. Anyways… hope you enjoyed my info dump. :)

Some of those headcanons I promised you guys in my last post:

1: after time, the pressure of time travel resulted in some of Karl’s hair to turn white(similar to the revived members streaks of white hair!) and he would dye it with Quackity because he didn’t question why some of his hair was suddenly white

2: Karl started to get the realties of different times mixed up, so he’d occasionally call Ranboo ‘butler’. Nobody ever really figured out why, but they thought it was some stupid joke.

3: Eret and Puffy would hang out a LOT and gained the reputation as the ‘mum’s’ of the server. Every time someone said that they’d jokingly say something like ‘oh, dear Captain, I’m deeply in love with you!’ Or ‘My Queen, give me a kiss!’ Just to fuck with everyone

4: Eret would dye Puffy’s hair:3

5: When Quackity was fighting, poker chips would come flying from his pockets (even before Las Nevadas which concerned his fiancés)

6: Karl and Sapnap babied Quackity 24/7 (ex; ‘Oh no! Karl, our little schnukims is hurt!’ ‘Sapnap, our little baby has a bruise!’ ‘God forbid someone touches our baby *Karl says while clinging onto Quackity*) (Quackity didn’t like it so Karl and Sapnap did it for the sake of annoying their fiancé)

Those are my dsmp headcanons that I have as of now and that actually have depth and I’m not too tired to right, so have fun my little schnukims:3

you know that thing about birth marks representing how you died in a past life? I don't think scarring, but I like the thought of tubbo having markings on his face representing the firework scars. I also like the thought that Michael underscore is in college and this is turbo going on vacation to meet up with phil. snowchester flag pin on his backpack, a friend's red bandana tied to keep his hair up in the quesadilla island heat. dorky muscle tanks for vacation that say "DANGER: RADIOACTIVE ABS ☢️" .

also I think niki has a syndicate patch and Phil has one to match her ok bye

What tma fear's avatar I feel like the dsmp characters would be

(Note: I do mean the characters. Purely)

Dream - You know I've considered both the Eye and the Stranger, however then I remembered the Web. The manipulation and schemes. It just fits him so well. Dream is definitely with the Spider.

George - I wasn't really sure about him to be honest, but I felt like all the mushroom imagery could potentially make him a Corruption candidate.

Sapnap - Now the Destruction would probably be fitting, but with all the animals he killed, Sapnap is heading straight for the Slaughter.

Tommy - I feel like exile and his limbo nicely did the job for me and placed Tommy with the Lonely.

Ranboo - Considering the memory journal holding all of his knowledge, as well as the (not sure if that's canon actually. Oh well) enderwalk state having and knowing all his memories, I feel like Ranboo would go to the Eye.

Tubbo - Nukes. Firework death. Tubbo is on a very prominent way to the Desolation.

Technoblade - Blood God. Slaughter. Need I say more

Phil - Now I was struggling with this one and was just about to slap the Vast on him cuz wings and call it a day. But like. The Goddess of Death. Phil is literally already an avatar of the End like canonically. How did I not realize that sooner.

Schlatt - As much as I hate to say it I feel like Schlatt would be with the Lonely. I mean, just thinking about it, this guy has basically no one. Seriously like who on the entire server ever liked him. He was such a douche that he literally pushed everyone away. That sounds very Lonely to me.

Feel free to add your own interpretations and characters in rbs/replies. I don't feel 'qualified' enough to assign fears to people like Ponk, BBH, Quackity or Antfrost and I would love to see the list grow!
