Had a small idea about Louie Duck with a rather depressed reader (could be because of their family, home life, crippling anxiety that they'll never worth anything in their life) putting in him a moment where he's forced to act mature for once (somewhat at least.)

─ ✩ 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 ; louie duck + reader
─ ✩ 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄 ; the reader is a child just like louie! i know it wasn't specified but it just feels right. it's your choice if you wanna see this as platonic or a lil crush. enjoy!
─ ✩ 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 ; emotional distress, anxiety, and the struggle to fit in.
louie duck was known for his laid-back, carefree nature. he preferred taking the easy route in life and was often on the lookout for shortcuts to success. but on this particular day, louie found himself in a situation he had never experienced before.
he had noticed that you, a close friend and companion, had been acting differently lately. in one of the mansion's dimly lit rooms, he found you, sitting in a shadowed corner. your usual enthusiasm and sparkle seemed to have dimmed, replaced by a heavy cloak of sadness. louie's eyes widened as he took in your downcast expression and the weight on your shoulders. he had never seen you like this.
with a sigh, he approached you cautiously, a hint of concern in his voice. "hey, what's wrong? you look like you lost a fortune, and i'm usually the one who does that." he chuckled.
you glanced away, avoiding his gaze, and didn't reply. your silence was deafening, and it left louie feeling unusually uncomfortable.
louie's brows furrowed, and his usual snarky grin gave way to a deeper frown. he leaned in closer, determined to break through your wall of silence. "come on, spill the beans. i can't help if you don't talk to me."
you continued to avoid eye contact, and louie couldn't understand why you were shutting him out. his frustration grew, and he couldn't help but raise his voice slightly. "seriously, what's going on? don't just shut me out like this!"
but your reaction wasn't what he expected. instead of getting defensive, you simply lowered your head further, and a single tear slipped down your cheek. it was a heart-wrenching sight that silenced louie instantly.
his initial irritation gave way to a sense of helplessness. louie had never been one to deal with emotional issues when it came to others. he was the "money" guy, not the "feelings" guy. but seeing you like this, he couldn't just walk away.
louie slowly sat down beside you. "hey," he said gently, "whatever it is, you don't have to go through it alone. talk to me. i'll listen."
with a deep breath, you began to share the burdens that had been weighing on your heart. "it's just... i've always felt like i don't fit in. like i'll never be as good as the others, you know?"
louie frowned, genuinely concerned. "why would you say that? you're awesome! you fit right in with the group."
you nodded, but tears welled up in your eyes. "i know, but it's just... it's hard when everyone else seems so perfect. i've got crippling anxiety, and it feels like i'll never be able to measure up to the standards set by scrooge and everyone else."
you hesitated for a moment, then continued about the family issues that had been a constant source of pain. "i feel like i can never measure up, like i'm a constant disappointment. no matter what i do, it's never good enough for them."
louie was silent for a moment, and you could see the wheels turning in his head as he searched for the right words.
"you might not believe it," louie began, "but we all have our issues and insecurities and stuff. we just hide them pretty good sometimes. and maybe you're not like scrooge, dewey, or huey, but that's okay. you're you, and that's what makes you special."
you wiped away a tear and looked into louie's eyes, searching for any hint of judgment or mockery. instead, you found warmth and compassion.
you appreciated louie's empathy, and you went on, "i just wish i had a family like yours. you know, one that's loving and supportive."
louie, wasn't entirely sure how to respond, given that he'd grown up with a close-knit, caring family. he hesitated for a moment, trying to find the right words. "well... family doesn't have to be just the people you're born with. family can be the people who care about you, no matter what. and, you're part of our family now. we've got your back."
your eyes met louie's, and you saw the sincerity in his gaze. it was a comforting reassurance that you had someone in your corner. "thanks, louie. i appreciate that more than you know."
he grinned, a touch of his mischievous charm returning. "hey, what are friends for, right? even if i have to be all mature for a minute." he let out a mock groan, making you chuckle.
after a heartfelt conversation, louie could see the weight on your shoulders beginning to lift, if only just a little. he couldn't help but feel proud of you for opening up, even he knew it wasn't easy.
with a soft smile, louie reached out and pulled you into a warm, comforting hug. it was a simple but powerful gesture, a silent reassurance that he was there for you, no matter what. your arms wrapped around him in return, and for a moment, you both simply held onto each other, finding solace in the embrace.
"i'm here for you," louie whispered softly. "and we'll figure this out together... okay?"
you nodded against his shoulder, the tears of earlier replaced with a sense of gratitude and relief.

I'm on a roll with old cartoons right now. Just started re-watching old 1987 DuckTales and got some platonic yandere headcanons for Scrooge with nibling reader (Again I only watched several episodes of the series so if I made him ooc I'm sorry):
To be honest, Scrooge didn't like you at first and just saw you as another child Donald told him to babysit. Most of the time you would be in Duckworth's care while he gets some work done, being insistent or stubborn in spending time with him would quicken the pace of his attachment. He couldn't recall the last time the manor was this lively but it would be frustrating to keep track of what you're doing.
He would bring his nibling to most of his adventures, but not without bringing any necessities needed for them just in case they get hurt. From extra clothes and first aid to a shotgun if an enemy will be pushing his niblings boundaries (Cause I've seen the first episode with Scrooge bringing a gun when he thought he was being robbed and thought it was scary and hilarious). Launchpad would question if this much luggage is needed for the travel but Scrooge would convince him it is necessary.
In the adventures where he brings along Huey, Dewey, and Louie he would tell them to keep Nibling reader safe and out of trouble. But it has the opposite result Scrooge wanted which resulted in him nearly having a heart attack when he heard his nephews lost you on the way back to the plane. He would scold them on how you could've been hurt, or worst killed, and decided that his nephews and his nibling would not be brought in the same adventure.
