Monsterhunt: Lixivioth, that which Bleeds from Beyond
Artsource
It starts as a ripple in the air, a churning beneath the skin of reality, then a silvery limb breaks the boundary before melting back into unexistance. Like a drowning soul thrashing in the sea, a body breaches the 'surface' full of a wild and desperate impulse to survive, a willingness to drag anything down if it meant keeping their head above water a little longer.
This is Lixivioth, a celestial who's time in the outer void has so deeply warped it that nothing remains but a cataclysmic desire to return no matter the cost. Once an explorer and collector of knowledge, Lixivioth's curiosity tragically drew it not just to the unknown but past the boundary of what could be known, beyond which laid nothing but dissolution.
Adventure Hooks:
Seeking forbidden knowledge, a devotee of Vecna has summoned and bound Lixivioth to a magic mirror, tormenting the spirit with glimpses of a reality it cannot touch. While infiltrating the villain's lair, the party come across the mirror and have the opportunity to ask it questions that might give them an edge against their foe. There is a magical procedure they must follow though, as every question that does not ascribe to the proper magical formalities puts a hairline crack in the glass, weakening the celestial bindings and giving it a chance to break free.
Days before needing to perform an important spell for the safety/prosperity of the realm, a great wizard was found dead in his study bleeding mercury form every hole in his skull, a tome of celestial learning in his hands. His body cannot be moved and the flow has yet to cease, slowly flooding his tower as his apprentices (and local authorities) scramble for answers. Lixivioth is using the wizard's body and magic to manifest in the material plane, and by the time the party are called to help it will be a matter of hours before the eldritch angel crawls it's way up his throat. To win the day they'll need to piece together the components of a binding spell from the mage's libraries while fending off quicksilver elementals and the tower's malfunctioning defences.
Beyond the borders of the party's homeland, an order of elven oracles were once rumored to seek wisdom of the distant future and past in the ripples of a silver spring, at least until a marauding band of centaurs overran their glade acting on their mystic's visions. Generations of ensuing seers, all mad as haters through imbibing magical mercury, have led the herd to become stronger and more violent all while unwittingly doing Lixivioth's bidding. A renegade has broken free, seeking aid from the people her herd has spent lifetimes raiding in the hopes of stopping an upcoming ritual.

dunmeshi inner voices but it's all actual strengths of the characters
Senshi: maintain a balanced diet, listen to your body and be mindful of where your food is coming from. Don't take more than you need from the ecosystem, but remember that to live means to take.
Chilchuck: get paid upfront, get a contract, always have ways to protect your interests in a job, unionize.
Marcille: maintain good hygiene, and take care of your hair and clothes - it's nice and it's worth it. Things in the handbook are there for a reason, but tools aren't moral.
Laios: know your weaknesses and your strengths, and those of your friends. Rely on them and make sure they can always rely on you.
Falin: it's always worth to try kindness first, and to keep a heavy blunt object on hand if that doesn't work out.
Izutsumi: search for your own goals. Be open to change.
Kabru: make your own judgments, and then update them, rather than fit everything you see to your expectations. Act on your beliefs and judgements.
Shuro: always keep the cops in mind, never trust the cops. Know how to balance pressure and politeness in diplomacy.
Namari: maintain a balance between your personal and group interests. Act on your strengths.
Hien: you're staggeringly pretty as is

Chilchuck says: Do what you can from where you are. Every action matters, every dollar counts.

1d12 ways to complicate an encounter
A magic or mundane artifact generates an effect harmful to the PCs, but it is guarded by the monster's minions.
The encounter's setting starts to collapse during the battle, and all the combatants will need to escape.
A boss monster has a 'second form' that activates mid-way through the battle.
Traps are placed throughout the battlefield, and characters must be wary of them.
The PCs must complete a ritual while fending off attacks from the enemy.
The encounter area is a series of cliffs or platforms, forcing characters to jump around and risk falling, possibly into a pit, water, or lava.
There is a monster that uses the blink spell or tunneling to avoid attacks between its turns.
A minor enemy has the ability to summon or call for reinforcements every round.
There are three sides, not two, battling in this encounter.
A disastrous environmental effect, such as an avalanche, wildfire, or earthquake, occurs in the area, dealing damage and forcing the combatants apart.
An anti-magic pulse affects some areas of the battlefield periodically, suppressing spells and magical items when it is active.
The enemies are shockingly weak and easily defeated, but the PCs' goal isn't here -- the treasure chest is a mimic, or their princess is in another castle.

Prompt 212
“Did we just pull an Isekai?”
“I mean, does it count if it’s practically just Ghostwriter’s usual shit, just more chaotic?”
“Sam, this is like a game, look, we even have inventory overlays!”
“Yeah but Tuck, I died so therefor I pulled an isekai, right?”
“Shit, why does that make sense?”
“Boys, perhaps actually look into your overlay there? Perhaps look at the map as well?”
“... oh my Ancients, guys, we’re not the players, we’re going to be the bosses of this game.”
. . .
“This is going to be so much fun guys.”
The JL Jr team would really like it to be known that they are in fact done with Klarions shenanigans. This is literally the first day school is out for the summer for them! Who even showed him DnD and anime anyway?!

Ally: Gulm the Gorger
The usual dust and mildew scents of the dungeon give way to the wafting odor of woodsmoke, vinnager, and frying onions.  As they enter the chamber, they find a hulking orc brooding over a bubbling cauldron. He looks to regard them, and while he is distracted something limp and tendrilled flops out of the boiling water. He swears, and beats the whatever-it-is into submission before using a heavy iron ladle to drown it in the broth.
At some prompting (and his insistance they taste test the soup) the orc introduces himself. Gulm has been the quartermaster for a number of barbarian camps and raiding parties and he’s seen it all. Two decades or so their war leader decided that the party would raid a dungeon, and while all the youngbloods were getting themselves killed in the lower levels, Gulm was getting a taste for dungeon cuisine. The tastes and textures of monstrous cooking are a treat for a gourmand like Gulm, who spends his twilight years travelling to different delves, killing and cooking all the strange new creatures he can find.
Gulm has likely eaten everything “common” at his particular level, but if the party kills something big and interesting and brings it back to him, he’ll gladly cook it for them, granting them extra healing on a rest. He has no taboo against eating sentient creatures, but finds the flesh of humanoids to be plain and unappetizing. He likewise has no qualms about eating undead, and has worked out a few tricks to make it palatable.
The gorger is crude and standoffish, refusing the offer to travel with the party if it is made. That said, they will likely find him inexplicably in their next dungeon delve, and the one after that,  and the one after that. If the party impresses him with a truly rare carcass, Gulm WILL tersely attach himself to the party and begin to act as their quartermaster, ensuring their camp is well cared for, their meals are made to his standard, and their wounds are tended to the best of his middling ability.
Eventually Gulm will die, He has no illusions otherwise. He’s too old an orc to believe his savage fortitude will sustain him forever. He is still an orc though, and plans to go out fighting. If the party has not earned his trust, he will die offscreen, having just set up camp in the final dungeon but seemingly nowhere to be found. If they have earned his trust, he will die for the party, ensuring they live to enjoy at least one more meal. Upon searching his kit, the players will find His prized possession: a cookbook written in orcish, in which he records all his greatest discoveries and experiments. The exact effects of this cookbook are up to you as a DM, but I suggest a once a week “ritual” to cast hero’s feast.

I see directly post-canon labrumiso as a polycule that both laios and mithrun are dating kabru but not each other, BUT! I do think that they could be a triad after a while with mithrun and laios building a relationship.
it's insanely funny to me the image of laios sadly telling mithrun about a interesting monster he never got to see before he got cursed, so on one random regular meeting mithrun suddenly teleports into the room with a carcass of the monster laios wanted to see
but I think the funniest of it all is that because of mithrus terrible sense of direction he would have to teleport short distances to be able to figure out where he is and make his way into the castle, that week there was a lot of rumors of a elven ghoul dragging a carcass across the kingdom
also mithrun would immediately crash from lack of mana after teleporting all the way into the castle
