#hermittober #tangotek #hermitcraft #mcyt #tangotek fanart #my art #phoenix draws #au idea where Tango was a hiker who got lost during a snowstorm and stumbled into a cave. its very dark and cold but there's this strange-#-rock everywhere that's giving off a faint glow and it slightly warm to the touch. so he breaks off a piece and curls up around it. and as-#-the snowstorm gets worse and worse outside he just gets sleepier and sleepier and- oddly enough- the crystal gets warmer and warmer #eventually tango finally gives in and falls asleep something that means death in his situation #but it doesn't #when he wakes back up the sky is clear but the terrain is unfamiliar and unwelcoming. the snow covered everything that Tango couldve used-#-to identify where he was and. he finds he doesnt really mind. he'll just stay here in the cave. besides isnt that what you're supposed-#to do when you're lost? so Tango wanders back into the cave where he finds theres structures he couldnt see before in the dark. they're-#-a little worn down but tangos got time so he rolls up his sleeves and starts repairing things. he doesnt notice that hes not hungry-#-despite not having anything since hours before he fell asleep. he doesnt notice how the tips of his fingers are slightly frostbitten but-#-undamanged #And above all else #he doesnt notice #that He.#Isnt #Cold #um. oops. i wrote a minific in the tags #anyways now imagine regular tango doing a magical girl transformation into The Dungeon Master

Thinking about if Laura was in the final battle she'd of gotten turned into a titan. She'd be so disgusted after. But, she's too prideful, so I'm like - would she try stop herself before turning, so she doesn't have to be a burden on people by being the enemy, and being killed by them. WOULD SHE. Go for a weapon to finish herself off first. She'd be turned before she got the chance, but now I am thinking.

Okay so I finally watched the first episode but I gotta say…I’m a little disappointed?

Like, the chemistry between the characters and the intrigue of the opening from the games just didn’t translate through for me. There were some great lines/shots/transitions they got rid of or changed that I don’t understand why they didn’t include (e.g. “you should start helping out with the mortgage then”, solider noting that Sarah is a little girl and showing more hesitance, the news report transition between past and present).

It was nice getting a bit more backstory on some stuff but yeah, I don’t know. So far I think the game’s opening was a lot stronger.

#the explanation of how fungi can fuck us up with warmer global temperatures driving their evolution was very scary #and I did like the added scene of ellie tricking joel #but yeah idk I feel like even though they spent longer introducing sarah in the show her bond with joel was translated better in the game #like I didn’t get emotional at all during her death scene but every time I rewatch the clip from the game I do #so I don’t think it’s just because I was expecting it #I wish they kept the opening the same honestly #and tess just felt irrelevant here?#and also joel doesn’t come across as hardened #he looked so shook at having killed someone at the end of the episode #plus here he’s looking for tommy #and it’s interesting what they did with the fireflies locking up ellie #and ellie not really knowing marlene until now #I don’t remember that being the case in the game but I could be wrong #still showing ellie being held against her will does make the fireflies more of assholes here #like to me it will actually support the argument of her being coerced more at the end #as in sacrificing herself wasn’t really her idea #and that marlene manipulated her #P.S. why the fuck are the infected in the show so fast? they weren’t like that in the game and it came off as tacky imo #tlou show #the last of us #misc #my opinion
