Its so fucking funny to me that Dusk is meddling with Imogen's relationship with Laudna for funsies, clearly unaware that she is already this close to losing it at all times. Psychic Cowgirl is wracked by nightmares and holding the lightning equivalent of a shotgun and levelling it at the moon. She is On The Fucking Edge. It would be so incredibly funny if Dusk was fully focused on the Calloway mission only for her to get clocked across the back of the head by Imogen because this bit of meddling went too far.

Not to still be stuck on the Dusk reveal, but Liam slipping into the Caleb accent was my cue for this discussion:

The reason I’ve craved the “Dusk” type character for so long is because of the Mighty Nein. The Nein were always worried about a double agent to the point that when almost any Guest PC came in, they immediately questioned it. Of course, they would come around. But there was always questioning: Shakaste, Calianna, Twiggy, even Reani got this treatment. And I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop- for a Guest PC to come in and for the Nein to finally be vindicated in their skepticism. And they never were.

But do you know what’s even funnier? The most trusting bunch of idiots seeing a cute enby and going, “Oh, let’s adopt them <3” and that character being the one to be a sexy badass double agent with a sick accent.

I’m very excited to see what the actual trajectory for this is and when the reveal will go down, because obviously the players can be unaware for as long as they batch record before this batch is aired, but as of today onward, they’d be hard-pressed to avoid spoilers, so I have to imagine they’re going to figure it out in the next couple pre-recorded episodes. I can’t wait to see what happens.

Orym would die for any member of the group, but anyone who touches Fearne is going to feel the brunt of his fury. Yu lost any semblance of connection with him the moment they grabbed Fearne’s wrist. If Yu ever puts a foot wrong near Fearne, the Calloway parents won’t have a chance to do anything, because a certain halfling is going to tear Yu apart.
