I really wish I could go to megacon at the end of the month, especially since the red dwarf cast are gonna be there;;; know Danny and Chris were at MCM in May but bc of how expensive going to London is I dunno if I’ll ever get back to going all the way down there.

So I knew I was gonna be missing out on that but with more of them going to megacon and the fact a friend said it was a pretty decent con I really wish I could go and experience it for myself but I just don’t have the money or means to these days with everything going on in my life ;;;; and I haven’t been to a con since 2019 so whenever I do find myself able to afford to go to cons, in order to ease back in it’ll need to be something a little closer to home up here first;;;

Feeling sentimental about how each of the Dwarfer's has a sad past.

Kryten - accidentally killed crew of Nova 5 and didn't recognise that they had perished. On his own for a very long time.

Lister - abandoned by himself, was adopted but adoptive parents died so lived with Grandma until she passed in his teen years. Mentioned being in an orphanage. In novels was homeless for some time before joining the JMC.

Rimmer - suffered greatly because of his family.

Cat - was abandoned by rest of cat people for being "uncool". Parents referred to in derogatory terms but its inferred they were left behind due to disability.

I feel for them all.
