You thought the Stegosaurus-Tyrannosaurus fight in Fantasia was anachronistic? Hah! In Le Piège Diabolique (The Diabolical Trap) by E. P. Jacobs (1962), a Tyrannosaurus gets to battle a Plateosaurus. The fact that they lived over 130 million years apart does not seem to be a hindrance.

"He [HergĂŠ] even had his friend Jacobs' covers corrected: the fearsome monster threatening the characters had to disappear, as well as Blake's revolver. HergĂŠ justified his intervention with a French law that increased censorship for publications aimed at young readers. Jacobs was furious: it was five years before he drew another cover for the magazine!"
Happy 70 years!

[1] NEW UPDATE.
the plot has thickened ! rumor has it patrick didn't bother to let sabrina down easy before pursuing talulah. he chose to spend a week fighting with sabrina first instead. guys, i wouldn't recommend this approach ! karma must be on sabrina's side because it seems that just as things are going good for her and noah, things with patrick and talulah are taking a turn south. speaking of noah, i hear he's bitter since finding out his ex-girlfriend blair is back in town. he claims he's over her, so i'm not sure why he cares. lastly, jacob is missing someone special... his tv remote !

The untitled album turns 6 today đśđż
On this day in 2019, Rammstein released their seventh studio album. What was significant and different compared to previous albums was that this one had no written title on the coverâjust an image of a matchstick. As a result, it came to be known as the âuntitledâ or âmatchstickâ album.
Richard's recurring statement in past interviews that no new album was planned is widely known. After the LIFAD tour ended in 2013, the band took a year off, and after one more meeting, another year. The general consensus was that they didnât want to pressure themselves or each other, since the working phase for the LIFAD album had been very exhausting in terms of group dynamics. In an interview in 2015, Till revealed that the band would be meeting in September 2015 for a casual, creative gathering. In October 2015, this photo was published on the official website, showing the band improvising in Schneiderâs studio:
It was decided that the band would work between the festival tours of 2016 and 2017, and that rest periods should be respected. Richard worked on his demos together with Till; the final results were presented to the rest of the band during their meetings and discussed.
As the first result of that creative period, the song 'Ramm4' was introduced during the 2016 tour. Flake commented: âWe wanted to show the world that we are still together and that we are creating new music.â To this day, the song hasnât been officially released, although it was used again as the opening song on last yearâs tour.
At the end of 2016, work resumed. In March 2017, Richard mentioned in this interview for the Rammstein in Paris film that at that point, 35 almost-finished songs existed, and that the wait would be worth it. Over the course of the year, these drafts were reduced to 28. Sky van Hoff also mentioned that same year that he would be working with Rammstein. Work on the compositions continued until spring 2018, apparently under a rule of four working days per week (Monday through Thursday). The song âDeutschlandâ in particular weighed heavily on the band - the lyrics prompted them to repeatedly look back on their own past and exchange their views:âEveryone of us expressed his opinion in detail. All of us talked about our experiences and feelings with respect to Deutschland. Some of us even told stories about themselves that I never heard before.â (Deutschland Photobook)
Recording took place in spring 2018 at La Fabrique Studios near NĂŽmes in southern France, with recordings made for a total of 16 songs.
Jacob Hellner was no longer involved, his role was taken over by Olsen Involtini. In late summer 2018, the orchestral and choir parts were recorded in Minsk. In December of the same year, 11 of the 16 songs were mixed by Rich Costey, Olsen Involtini, and Richard in Santa Monica, California.
As a teaser for the album, a tracklist with placeholders for letters and durations was released in 2019, hinting at the song titles:
DEUTSCHLAND â 05:26
+ADI+ â 03:00
++++ DICH â 03:00
A+S+Ă+D+R â 03:00
++X â 03:00
P+PP+ â 03:00
+AS +CH ++E++ â 03:00
+IA+AN+ â 03:00
WE++ WE+ â 03:00
+A++OO â 03:00
+ALL++ANN â 03:00
Audio snippets, each featuring a short instrumental segment from one of the songs, gave further clues to the tracks.
Starting on the albumâs release day, a large truck toured various cities in Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Austria. At each stop, visitors were given a special code they could use to win 2x2 tickets to the sold-out shows of the 2019 Europe Stadium Tour.
The album itself was visually dominated by the colors white and white. A making of video was released showing the photo shoot, which featured photographer Jes Larsen working with the band.
More little facts:
If you ordered the album in Germany from Saturn or MediaMarkt, you received a free promotional T-shirt, which has still never been officially released. Another special promotion took place in Long Beach, California: if you bought the album at the store Fingerprints Music, you had the chance to receive a free Rammstein logo tattoo.
The song âDeutschlandâ triggered a wave of outrage in Germany, as it was frequently misinterpreted and the music video was considered offensiven - particularly due to its references to the Holocaust.
The music video for âRadioâ was projected onto a building wall in Berlin-Mitte on April 25, 2019, at 8:55 p.m., shortly before the albumâs release. About 1000 fans attened the presentation:
Olsen Involtini also took on the role of mediator during the creative process. Richard reported the following: âBecause of his presence, the energy between Paul and I changed dramatically. I donât know why. Itâs almost like couples therapy. Itâs not about going there and getting advice from a therapist. Itâs more about if you go to a therapist and youâre sitting in front of another person, youâre listening to what the other person is saying, and while theyâre saying something, youâre thinking of strategies on how to fight against it. So, all of a sudden, I was listening to what he was saying and he was listening to what I was going to say. Individually, we are very, very different. Black and white. If he says âYes,â I say âNo.â Itâs always the same story. But somehow we need that for the Rammstein universe.â (Revolver)

SmackDown at the Capital One Arena was set to be another electrifying episode, with the atmosphere buzzing in anticipation of the nightâs events. The crowd was already roaring with excitement as they filled the massive arena, creating an exciting energy that could only be matched by the sheer intensity of the competitors and storylines that had been building for weeks.
The opening of the show saw Wade Barrett stepping into the spotlight. With his gravelly voice and undeniable charisma, he started by addressing the absence of Joe Tessitore, who had been missing from his usual post. Barrett took the opportunity to fill the audience in on the situation before Vic Joseph threw to a video recap of last week's show.
As the camera transitioned from the recap, the unmistakable music of Cody Rhodes hit the arena, and the crowd went wild. Cody was known for his passion and larger-than-life personality, and he had a message to share with the world. The air in the arena was thick with anticipation as the American Nightmare made his way down the ramp.
Upon entering the ring, Rhodes immediately took to the microphone, ready to kick off his segment. His voice boomed through the speakers, holding the crowd's attention. "WrestleMania is right around the corner," Cody began, teasing his fans with the idea of his potential opponents. "But, I need to know what you think. Who should I face?" He started to run through a few options, with the fans voicing their opinions loudly in the form of cheers and boos. The energy in the building was electric as Cody bantered with the audience, feeding off their reactions.
However, Cody was interrupted before he could say much more, and the unmistakable sound of Drew McIntyreâs music echoed throughout the arena. The tension rose as the Scottish Warrior made his way to the ring, his eyes locked on Cody. The two men exchanged looks, and the air grew thick with the promise of an impending clash between them.
But before anything could happen, a new figure emerged from the backstage area: Jacob Fatu. He strutted down the ramp with a sense of purpose, his eyes focused on the ring. As he entered the squared circle, his imposing presence filled the space. "The title belongs with my family," Jacob declared, his words resonating with a sense of pride and determination. His familyâs legacy was at stake, and Jacob was there to stake his claim.
Just as things were beginning to heat up, the video screen behind them flickered to life, showing the image of Solo Sikoa walking backstage. Solo wasnât alone, though, beside him, in a striking contrast, stood Aphrodite, dressed in all white. Her elegance seemed to light up the screen, contrasting sharply with the gritty environment of the arena. Jacobâs expression shifted immediately, his face hardening as he noticed them. His frustration was noticeable, but before he could voice his displeasure, a moment of silence hung in the air.
"I get the first word with Solo," Jacob said to Cody, his tone sharp. But Cody, ever the confident showman, responded with a quiet yet firm, "I'll get the last." The words hung in the air for a moment as the tension between the three men simmered. After a brief exchange of words, the scene cut away from the ring, and the camera shifted to the backstage area. It was there that the dynamics of the evening truly began to shift.
Backstage, Joseph shared a private moment with Aphrodite. They were a striking pair, their chemistry undeniable as they conversed in hushed tones. "I hate that our first Valentine's Day together again had to be spent at work," Joseph said softly, his voice laden with genuine affection. Aphrodite, looking up at him with a gentle smile, brushed a strand of hair from her face. "We can do a late dinner after the show," she replied, her voice tender yet filled with warmth.
As their conversation continued, Joseph leaned in to kiss Aphrodite, but she playfully pushed him away, her laughter filling the small space. "Stop it. Weâre at work," she reminded him, casting a quick glance around to make sure no one was watching. Unfortunately, someone had indeed seen them.
Savelina caught sight of the exchange. A smirk spread across her face as she approached, clearly enjoying the moment. "Oh! I know I ain't just see what I saw," she teased, her eyes dancing with amusement.
Joseph simply grinned. "You did," he confirmed, his voice dripping with a mix of humor and pride.
The interaction between the three of them continued for a while, with Savelina soaking in every detail of the unfolding relationship. Her smirk never wavered as the trio continued their conversation. But, as all things in the world of wrestling often go, duty called. Joseph and Aphrodite had to part ways to film another backstage segment, and the camera followed them as they made their way through the maze of corridors.
Meanwhile, backstage tensions were rising. Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga were seen searching for Solo Sikoa. The two of them were intent on finding their family member, but Solo, visibly distraught, wasnât exactly in the mood to engage. "I need time off. I let the family down," Solo admitted, his voice heavy with regret. He said he loved Jacob, but that didnât seem to alleviate the sense of disappointment in Jacobâs eyes. With nothing else to say, Jacob and Tonga walked away from Solo, leaving the tension unresolved.
It was then that Aphrodite, ever the supportive figure, stepped in. She placed a hand on Soloâs shoulder, offering him some comfort in his moment of vulnerability. The two lingered backstage, their presence a silent support for the conflicted man. It wasnât long before the main event rolled around, and the camera crew once again shifted its focus to the action.
The triple threat match for a spot in the Elimination Chamber had the crowd on the edge of their seats. Jacob Fatu, Braun Strowman, and Damian Priest were set to clash in a contest that would determine who would earn the coveted spot in the upcoming pay-per-view match. The bell rang, and the action erupted immediately.
Jacob and Damian wasted no time, quickly ganging up on Braun and sending him crashing out of the ring. For a moment, it seemed like Braun was the odd man out, but his raw power wasnât to be underestimated. As the match progressed, Braun began to show signs of his dominance, launching a rampage that shook the ring. But Jacob and Damian, in a clear attempt to build their individual feud, went after each other relentlessly.
At one point, Solo, seemingly out of nowhere, appeared to lend Jacob a helping hand. But to Cody Rhodesâ surprise, he quickly ran to the ring to fight Solo off. The situation quickly escalated as Tama Tonga joined in the fray, but Cody, in a burst of intensity, managed to get the better of them.
From the ring, Jacob saw Solo hit Tama Tonga, and his reaction was one of fury. He assumed it was an intentional attack, one that broke the fragile trust between him and his family. The chaos that followed was a blur as all three men seemed to be locked in a battle of wills. But in the end, it was Damian Priest who emerged victorious, securing the final spot in the Elimination Chamber.
After the match, there was a brief, unexpected moment of respect between Cody Rhodes and Damian Priest. They shared a handshake, a gesture that spoke volumes about their mutual understanding of the stakes that had been raised in the fight.
Once the camera cut away from the action, the focus shifted to the backstage area once more. Joseph was seen returning, his body language telling the story of a long night. Aphrodite was waiting for him, and as the camera crew captured their exchange, Aphrodite spoke quietly. "Theyâll understand soon," she told Joseph, her voice filled with quiet confidence.
The moment between the two of them felt intimate, almost like a promise of things to come. The tension of the night slowly started to ebb away, replaced by the comfort they found in each otherâs presence.
As the camera crew wrapped up for the evening, Joseph and Aphrodite made their way towards the locker rooms. "I found a Mexican restaurant that stays open late," Joseph said with a grin. "I made us a reservation." Aphrodite, her face lighting up at the mention of food, nodded in agreement. "Okay, go get cleaned up and we can leave to head over there," she replied, a soft smile playing on her lips.
Joseph made his way to the menâs locker room, ready to clean up after the chaotic night, while Aphrodite, in her own way, ran into Trinity and Jon. "What are yâall doing tonight?" Jon asked, his tone light and teasing.
"Weâre going to a Mexican restaurant," Aphrodite answered with a playful smile.
Jonâs words, however, caught her a bit off guard. "You kids be safe, use protection," he joked, clearly enjoying the moment.
Trinity, ever the voice of reason, slapped Jonâs chest in mock disapproval. "Ignore him," she told Aphrodite with a wink.
"I will," Aphrodite replied with a laugh. "Joseph and I are taking things slow," she added.

The Mexican restaurant was a hidden gem, a place of warmth that seemed to wrap itself around you the moment you stepped inside.
The walls were painted in vibrant hues of red, yellow, and orange, each shade adding to the lively, yet inviting atmosphere. Intricately painted tiles adorned the walls, telling stories of Mexican culture and traditions. The soft, earthy tones of brown and terracotta grounded the space, giving it a welcoming feel. Above them, dim lighting hung like a soft embrace, casting a gentle glow over everything and creating an intimate atmosphere that felt both cozy and romantic.
The hostess greeted them with a warm smile, leading Joseph and Aphrodite through the restaurantâs warm, bustling interior to a private area tucked away from the main dining room. The space was secluded enough to offer them a sense of solitude but close enough to feel the pulse of the restaurantâs lively energy, a perfect balance for a quiet late evening.
The table was set for the occasion: a bouquet of fresh flowers sat in the center, their vibrant colors bursting against the soft glow of flickering candles. Delicate flower petals were scattered across the table, adding a subtle touch of romance.
Aphroditeâs eyes sparkled as she took in the scene, a soft smile playing on her lips. The thoughtfulness behind Josephâs choice of this particular restaurant didnât escape her, and she appreciated the effort heâd put into making their Valentineâs Day dinner special.
As they settled into their seats, Joseph couldnât help but feel the tension in his body slowly unwind. The chaos of the wrestling world, the endless demands of their professional lives, and the weight of the day seemed to melt away. Here, in this warm, intimate space, all of that felt distant.
Aphrodite reached across the table, her hand brushing gently against his. The touch was soft, deliberate, and full of meaning.
Joseph felt it instantly, the warmth of her hand, the sincerity in her eyes. It was a simple gesture, yet it spoke volumes. It said everything he needed to hear: she was here, present with him in this moment, and nothing else mattered.
He met her gaze, his grip tightening slightly around her hand. There was something about the way she spoke, the quiet confidence in her words, that made him believe in the future where, despite all the turbulence and uncertainty, they would find their way.
In the face of the unknown, her words were like a lighthouse in a storm. They were a promise, unspoken but clear, that no matter what life threw at them, they would be okay.
The quiet reassurance between them was enough. They didnât need grand gestures, lofty promises, or dramatic declarations. For now, in this small, peaceful corner of the world, they simply existed together. And that was all they needed.
As the evening wore on, their conversation naturally flowed from one topic to the next. It started with light-hearted banter, discussing the absurdities of life on the road like the bizarre encounters with fans, the strange habits of their colleagues, and the quirks of their backstage world. But as they continued, the conversation deepened, and they began to open up to each other about more personal matters.
With each passing moment, Joseph felt the distance between them dissolve further, until it felt as though there was no space left to close. He could feel the connection growing stronger, not just as a couple, but as two people who had truly found each other.
When their margaritas arrived, they clinked their glasses together, the sound ringing out softly in the quiet space. A gentle laugh followed, blending with the soft, ambient music playing in the background. The night outside seemed quieter as if the world itself had paused for a moment, allowing them to bask in this peaceful solitude.
Aphrodite leaned back in her chair, her eyes half-closed in contentment as she sighed. "This was nice," she said, her voice full of quiet satisfaction. "I needed this. Just to get away from everything, you know?"
Joseph smiled warmly, his eyes softening as he looked at her. "Me too," he said quietly, his tone carrying an unspoken agreement.
Aphrodite nodded, her gaze lingering on him for a moment before she spoke again. "Sometimes I think we forget to appreciate these little things. It's easy to get caught up in the chaos."
Josephâs smile softened further, and he reached out to gently squeeze her hand. "We donât forget, Aphrodite. We just get distracted. But we always find our way back, donât we?"
She nodded, her eyes locking with his in a way that conveyed everything they both knew without saying a word. There was no need for further explanation. The bond between them was unspoken, understood without question. It was in the small, simple moments, the quiet exchange of a meal, the shared look, the way they could sit together in complete silence and feel entirely at peace.
As they finished their meal, the evening seemed to stretch on, the world outside slowing down just for them. The sounds of laughter and conversation from the rest of the restaurant began to fade into the background as the final moments of their dinner stretched on. Time felt less important here, what mattered was the presence they shared in this moment, in this space.
Eventually, the check arrived. They paid with the same quiet satisfaction that had marked the entire evening. There were no grand gestures, no extravagant displays of affection just a simple exchange between two people who had found something real, something genuine in each other.
As they walked out of the restaurant, the cool night air greeted them again, but it didnât feel harsh. Instead, it was refreshing, like a reminder that the world outside was still moving, still full of noise and energy but here, with them, all of that could be left behind. For a while, they didnât need to engage with the outside world. This moment, this night, was theirs.
The drive back to the hotel was as calm as the journey to the restaurant had been. The streets were quiet, and the city lights shimmered through the windows of the car, their reflections dancing across the surfaces. There was no need for conversation. The comfort of each otherâs presence was enough. They didnât need to fill the silence with anything more than what was already between them.
When they finally arrived at the hotel, they exchanged a brief, knowing look, no words were necessary. They both understood. The night had been everything they needed it to be.
And as they walked toward the elevator, Joseph couldnât help but smile. Tonight had been perfect.
noitsreallyaphrodite 5m

It was Sunday afternoon as Aphrodite stood in the warmth of her home, her eyes flickering from one bouquet to the next, overwhelmed by the sheer volume of vibrant blooms she had received for Valentineâs Day.
The fourteen bouquets, each a beautiful arrangement from friends and family, were a testament to how much she was loved. Alongside them, four additional bouquets from Joseph stood proudly, each one a symbol of his affection and care. It wasnât lost on her how much effort he was putting into their relationship.
The sun streamed in through the large windows of her living room, casting long shadows on the polished hardwood floor. Aphroditeâs mind, however, was far from the peaceful serenity of her surroundings.
Instead, her thoughts swirled, as she tried to figure out how to arrange the flowers, knowing that her garden was already starting to overflow with colorful blooms. She had become quite the expert gardener over the years, each season seeing her add new and exciting plants to her outdoor sanctuary. Yet, today, with so many flowers to deal with, she was at a loss.
Before she could settle on a plan, the door creaked open, and in walked her best friends, Jatae and Mona. Their presence was always a welcome distraction from the chaos of her thoughts.
âI think you may need to buy the house next door for their backyard, Dottie,â Mona said, taking in the view of the flowers. Her voice was filled with amusement as she surveyed the scene.
Jatae, ever the more serious one, simply nodded in agreement. âYou think I should? Iâve been thinking about pulling a Kardashian and buying both houses on either side of mine and making a compound,â Aphrodite said, the words slipping out before she could stop herself.
Mona raised an eyebrow. âWhy would you need a compound?â
âItâs just an idea,â Aphrodite said quickly, not really meaning it but secretly enjoying the fantasy of it all. A compound, she thought. It would certainly make it easier to store all these flowers.
Jatae let out a low chuckle. âShe may be trying to pull a Kardashian and have a boatload of kids.â
Aphrodite rolled her eyes playfully. âI donât think thatâs going to happen anytime soon,â she said, though a quiet part of her did wonder what that life might be like.
The thought was nice, having a big family, maybe a few kids running around in the yard, laughter filling the air but it wasnât something she was ready for yet.
Josephâs name lingered in her thoughts as Jatae spoke again, a hint of teasing in her voice. âOh, so that means things with Joseph are going well. Maybe thatâs why you didnât invite India to plant flowers with us today?â
Aphroditeâs smile faltered for a moment. âThings are okay with Joseph,â she said, trying to sound casual. âAnd I did invite India, she heard flowers and immediately declined,â Aphrodite said.
Mona shook her head, a knowing smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. âAnd we know India is public enemy number one when it comes to Joseph. She ainât gonna believe that heâll do right by you until something happens like God, himself coming and telling her that Joseph has changed. India wonât ever trust him until she sees some concrete proof that heâs changed.â
Aphrodite sighed, trying not to let the heaviness of those words get to her.
âI love India, but damn, once she hates you, she hates you,â Jatae said, and Aphrodite couldnât help but nod in agreement.
âWell, to be fair, I did spend a good amount of time crying over Joseph, thinking my life was over after our breakup,â Aphrodite explained, her voice quiet but firm. âI think she gets a pass for not trusting him at the moment.â
Mona crossed her arms and leaned against the wall. âYeah, but youâre happy now, so she needs to loosen up. Youâre not the same person you were before. Things have changed.â
Aphrodite was quiet for a long moment, her thoughts drifting to her cousin Megan, another vocal member of the âwe hate Josephâ club. Megan had always been adamant that Aphrodite shouldnât have gotten back together with Joseph. Their rekindled relationship didnât sit well with her, and she was quick to voice her concerns.
âI havenât heard from Megan in a while, but she did text me a couple of days ago,â Aphrodite said, rubbing her temples. âSheâs still very anti-Joseph, and she tried to ask me if I was ever planning on sitting down with Josephâs baby mama. She feels like I need to find out why things didnât work between them, especially with a ten-month-old baby in the mix.â
Mona and Jatae exchanged a look, both of them intrigued by this new development. Aphrodite could practically feel the wheels turning in their minds as they processed the information.
âOh, God, not you two,â Aphrodite muttered, realizing where the conversation was headed.
Mona grinned. âHey, you gotta think about it, Dottie. Three kids and the relationship failed again. Donât you want to know why?â
Aphrodite bit her lip, unsure of how to answer. She hadnât given much thought to the reasons behind Josephâs past relationships. âNo, I donât,â she said firmly. âThatâs their business.â
âLiar,â Jatae said with a smirk, clearly not buying her answer.
Aphrodite could feel her resolve weakening, but she was determined not to dig too deep into Josephâs past. She didnât want to be haunted by questions that didnât have answers, especially ones that might cause her more pain than they were worth. âI donât want to know,â she said again, though her voice held a tinge of uncertainty.
âOkay, Iâll find out then let you know what I find out about it,â Jatae said, not missing a beat.
Aphrodite rolled her eyes, a mix of exasperation and amusement crossing her face. âWhatever,â she muttered. âLetâs get these babies into the ground,â she said, eager to move on from the topic of Josephâs past relationships and focus on the task at hand.
Later that night, as Aphrodite curled up on the couch with Joseph, the flickering light from the television casting shadows across their faces, she felt a familiar sense of peace. They had always been able to fall into a comfortable routine when they were together. Tonight was no different. They had chosen a light-hearted comedy to watch, the kind that didnât require much thought but kept them both entertained.
As the movie played on, Aphroditeâs phone buzzed on the coffee table. She hesitated for a moment before picking it up, seeing a text from Jatae: âGirl! I got the tea.â
Aphroditeâs heart sank slightly. As much as she didnât want to know the details, she couldnât help but feel a nagging curiosity. She quickly typed back: âWhatâs the tea?â
Jataeâs response came swiftly: âSo they broke up because he still wasnât over you. No matter what she tried to do to make him move on, he couldnât. She got tired of you taking up space in his heart, so she left. You got that power over him.â
Aphroditeâs breath hitched in her chest as she read the words. She didnât know how to feel. Part of her was relieved that the breakup hadnât been because of something more drastic, but at the same time, she couldnât help but wonder what that meant for her and Joseph now. She had never thought of herself as someone who had that kind of power over him, but the realization sent a strange thrill through her.
Joseph, who had been glancing at her phone, raised an eyebrow. âAre you serious?â he asked, his voice low with a mix of concern and curiosity.
Aphrodite glanced up at him, surprised by the tension in his voice. She had expected him to be more lighthearted about the text, but the look on his face told her that he was upset.
âSefa,â Aphrodite said, using his nickname, trying to gauge if he was angry or hurt.
Josephâs frown deepened as he leaned back on the couch, his expression clouded. âYou could have just asked me instead of sending your friends to snoop,â he said, the words laced with a slight edge.
âI didnât send them. They just wanted me to know,â Aphrodite replied, trying to explain herself.
Joseph crossed his arms and stared at her, his gaze intense. âRight, so how do you feel now that you know?â
Aphrodite shifted uncomfortably. âWorried that your baby mama may hate me,â she admitted, feeling the weight of the situation pressing down on her.
âShe doesnât hate you,â Joseph said, his voice softening. âShe may not be okay with you being back in the picture at the moment, but Iâm working on that.â
âI donât want no baby mama drama,â Aphrodite said quietly, though the fear of it lingered in the pit of her stomach.
âYou didnât have any the first time around, so you wonât have any now,â Joseph reassured her.
Aphrodite raised an eyebrow. âLies. We had drama, Joseph. You may not have thought it was drama, but it was. She didnât have any boundaries, and I was constantly picking up the slack after you two with the kids. And she didnât appreciate it when Zev accidentally called me âmommyâ in front of her,â she pointed out, remembering the uncomfortable tension from their previous interactions.
Joseph seemed to think about this for a moment, nodding slowly. âBut we were good the majority of the time,â he said, though there was a touch of defensiveness in his voice.
Aphrodite rolled her eyes, not willing to let him off the hook so easily. âWhatever,â she muttered. âBy the way, does she know Iâm around her sons?â
Joseph nodded. âYou know Zev canât hold water. He immediately told her that they come over to your house,â he revealed.
Aphrodite paused, taking in this new piece of information. âAnd how does she feel about that?â
Josephâs expression softened. âShe knows youâre a good person, so sheâs only worried about being kept in the loop about the boys being over here.â
Aphrodite nodded, the conversation leaving her with more to think about than she had expected. But as she turned her attention back to Joseph, the weight of their past, present, and future seemed to shift, even if only a little.

Alphabet Soup - J
J is for the hot streak of jealousy that burns through Wally whenever he sees another guy in your orbit. Like a kick to the teeth, because he can't always do something about it. Not with Janet's arm banded through his, draped along his side like she sees him as more than a trophy.
But when she's not hanging all over him, Wally doesn't hesitate to strut right up to you. Clamps one hand on your hip and an arm around your shoulders, pulling you into the cradle of his body where you fit oh-so-perfectly; his little treasure, entirely meant to be his.
He smiles, lopsided and bright, and the guy feels safe for the ten seconds it takes him to catch how Wally's eyes darken with barely fettered anger.
His hold on you stays gentle, firm but light, and you're none the wiser. Merrily discussing whatever Chad or Jacob or Brent want to hear your opinion of. And, God, you're smart, Wally thinks, glaring into this dipshit's soul while he ignores the icy feeling of Janet's eyes on the back of his neck.
He inserts himself in the conversation here and there, rhetorical comments and questions that dig into Chad-Jacob-Brent's ego until, finally, tail between his legs, he excuses himself.
Once he's gone, you turn your head. Angle it up to look at Wally, big Bambi eyes blinking at him in concern, and, shit, fuck, you can't do that to him. So fucking pretty, all for him, getting him all needy and hot just by looking at him.
"Meet me in 403." He says under his breath.
When you join him in the empty classroom, he presses you into the wall, undoing his belt and fly with one expert hand, frenzied, already hard. His other hand bunches your shirt under your armpits, above your tits.
Wally's not above marking his territory, not that he wants to frame it that way, but there it is.
He comes over your chin, collar, chest. Lifts you by the thighs and plants you on a nearby desk. Smears the tacky mess into your skin while he eats you out.
"Tell me your mine, baby." He commands, fucks his tongue into you as he holds your gaze.
"Yes, Wally," You gasp, "yours," and throw your head back, biting the meat of your hand so you don't scream when he makes you come.
He helps you arrange your appearance in considerate motions, reluctant to admit that his eyes might be doing something soft. Leaves you with a rough kiss that tastes like both of you and promises to see you later.

NHL Captains & Alternates Primer/Refresher
All teams per the NHL Rule book (Rule 6, pg 7-8) must list either One (1) Captain and Two (2) Alternate Captains or Three (3) Alternate Captains during the game line-up submissions*. There may only be Three (3) Alternates if the Captain is not in uniform or if there is no designated Captain. No Coach, Manager or Goaltenders are allowed to act as a Captain or Alternate; Goaltenders are not allowed to act as captains due to (un)intentional delay of game as per the "Durnan Rule". They must wear either a "C" or "A" about three inches (3") high and of a contrasting color in a visible spot on the front of their jerseys. Only the Captain [ or any one (1) Alternate, if the Captain is not on the ice] is allowed, if invited by a referee, to discuss interpretations of the rules**. They may not leave the bench to protest or hinder any officials in light of a call on the ice, and are subject to being given a penalty (Abuse of Officials: unsportsmanlike conduct).
Notes:
(*) Some teams have named more than the regulation two (2) or three (3) alternates and are required to rotate the designation between players. The method of choosing who gets the designation when is left to team digression.
(**) Complaints about penalties are not considered 'a discussion pertaining to the interpretations of the rules', and any skater making such complaints are subject to a minor penalty in response.
