Echo pulled up to the egde of the cliff, climbing off his bike. The sun set was so pretty out here, it's a shame it's where he almost killed Zane once. The reveving of a bike came from behind him. He didn't bother looking back, it was probably Hanna. She knew he liked to come out here.

"I had a feeling I could find you here," Echo froze at the voice. That wasn't Hanna, that was the Quiet One.

He bolted to his feet, pulling his swords off his back, he glared at her. Why was she here? What did she want?

The next thing she said, was the last thing Echo ever expected to hear, "I'm sorry." Her voice was so sincere, in even a way she couldn't fake.

His weapons slipped from his hands, he just stared at her with wide eyes.

"Echo…" She used his real name, she didn't call him Mr E for about the first time in forever, "I'm truly sorry for everything I've put you throw." She took a few steps towards him.

He wanted to back away, he wanted to run as from here as he could, but his legs wouldn't move. They wouldn't respond to him, he was to shocked.

"I know I can't never make up for it… and I know I'll just go back to my shitty ways tomorrow… but today, I'm sorry," she took a few more steps forward, wrapping him in a hug.

Echo didn't know what to do. He didn't understand how she could just be nice all of a suddend. It made no sense. But as her grip around his ribcage tightened, he slowly raised his arms, hugging her back. It had been so long since he hugged his best friend. As she pulled away, he almost wished it lasted a few minutes longer.

"Thank you for that…" she muttered, "I, uh, I hope we can be friends again someday… I've really missed you, even without all this right now…" With that, the Quiet One, climbed on her bike and drove away. All Echo could do was stare as she left.

This an RP blog of Echo from my AU. In this AU Echo both stayed and the light house, and went with Harumi. This caused a spilt in his timeline, he existed in both places at once until he was recombined, like Steven Universe style. He can spilt back into Echo and Mr E, with each getting half the power, but they prefer to remain as one, because they have better control over their element.

Dropping this as an example and leaving out any names - so please don’t go and start an argument with these people or harass anyone. It’s not why I'm writing this, it gives them more attention, and there is no room for an actual conversation.

But, to my point! I am starting to believe that people online aren’t always shitheads on purpose. They are seriously lacking reading comprehension and that is absolutely terrifying.

In this one example the dev has not said any of the things they are being accused of. Let me break this down a bit.

Starting with the Bellara statement - the answer literally says Bellara is the most knowledgeable when it comes to elven magic EXCEPT compared to the elven gods. And even then, it’s prefaced by two things: 1. PROBABLY, which is used to show that it’s not a certainty and that there's a high chance there are others around the world (let’s saaay... people like Merrill), but they are not within reach so it's inconsequential. And 2. ‘Bellara ASSUMES’, which implies she doesn’t actually hold the totality of knowledge. The game shows again and again that she is in the process of learning through experimenting and nothing in this answer contradicts that. Additionally, literally during the game, Bellara has access to Solas’s ancient library at the Lighthouse AND an ancient archive of knowledge. Basically she has MANUALS on ancient magic from the very people that practiced it.

2. ‘Evanuris don’t understand magic’ - again the answer never said that. What it conveyed was that the Evanuris had access to magic and found ways to make it work for them. It was a tool, much like electricity: we didn’t invent it, it is a phenomenon we learnt to turn into power and use. The game kept reminding everyone again and again that the Evanuris weren’t gods, just powerful mages and Epler’s answer just reaffirmed that. (Plus this is something previous games have also hinted at repeatedly). The Elven Gods didn’t invent magic, and much like everyone else in Thedas, after they tapped into that force they started applying it in ways they were able to understand. Solas himself (the voice the devs created to tell a story) said that in so many ways throughout the game, so why are people acting like this is the first time they're hearing about it??

Anyway, this is just me taking the time to analyze one of the many absolutely mind-boggling takes that exist out there, and there’s… a lot of them. These people should just put the phone down and open a book.

Yellow - Void/Enlightenment/Karma

Basically alignment with and knowledge of the higher non-material realms. I don't really think I need to explain what it is

Green - Stars/Stardust, Iterator lightning

Might actually represent more. I believe it represents memory in a way too, as stardust contains "shedded qualia" from ascended beings. Whatever it is, it seems important

Blue - Iterator Neurons, FP rot

FP's rot is blue BECAUSE of the neurons, considering the rot is consuming it. In Garbage Wastes it turns brown and weakens for this same reason too

Blue-Grey - Ripplespace/Echoes/Daemon

AKA whatever the Inbetween of rain world is

Purple - Rot/Entropy/Basal Existence

What I mean by that last part is that rot is the most basic a living thing can get. Just consume and reproduce. Nothing else. It is basically the opposite of enlightenment, cyclical entanglement to the highest order. It's literally even sticky!

White - The Egg?

This one is the least important currently but...

I've seen white glow show up in both the neuronglow, the ascension ending, and behind the karma. I feel like it means something, but I will be honest... I'm not sure. I still want to note it here.

Echos in the Wind

Echo shuffled as he sat on the bench in Harumi's work shop, wires going into his head. He felt weird sitting there as she typed away.

"All the that alcohol hasn't affected your system too much, "She turned back to face him, "Alright, well I was here I checked to make sure none of those stupid ninja didn't upload any viruses on you, they didn't, surprisingly. I still think it'd be for the best to cut you off from them though."

"I want to be able to update my Tumblr, I can't do that if I'm offline," he signed it return. Part of him always wanted to be able to speak to the ninja. He didn't know why, all they did was lie to him. He felt the same way when his with them, expect it was about Harumi. Maybe that's why he hung around her base so long. He started to sign he was sorry again, but Harumi grabbed his hands.

"I get your sorry, but your words are meaningless. Show your sorry by staying with me." She smiled at him fondly. He loved his friend.

Echo nodded in respones and unplugged all the wires from his head. He didn't like the idea of Harumi being able to poke around in there anymore. He looked up at her again, and started signing, "You asked the face thief- sorry, Nadhakan about being able to rewrite my code with a wish, why?"

She sighed, "Echo, I was just really worried about you, I just wanted you to come home. I care a lot about you, that's all." she had a soft tone, trying to show that she really meant it, but Echo didn't buy it. He could see through her lies now.

"You call threatening to rewrite who I am as a living being, caring?" he signed in return. He didn't mean for it to come off as sassy as it did, but he really didn't mind.

"Echo. I just wanted you back." her tone was fully annoyance at his question.

"So you threaten to kill me?!" his hands were quick moving as he signed.

"I was trying to scare you into returning!"

"Is that how you treat all your friends?! Keep them through fear?!"

She glared at him, "You know that isn't true."

He scowled, "Do I? All you ever seem to do is lie! At least the ninja told me when they did! You say you hate them but yet you don't shut up about Nya!"

"Echo. Stop." Anger started to fill her voice. He could tell she didn't like him rebling agaist her, but all that did was make him want to fight more.

"Or what? You'll rewrite my code? Transform me into the perfect puppet?"

"You're not a puppet Echo!"

If he had a voice box, an angry grunt would exist his mouth, "Then why do your treat me like one?! You know what Harumi, I'm done! I shouldn't have come back! We're not friends anymore." he went to grab his helmet from the table but Harumi grabbed it first.

"I didn't rebuild you so you can repeativly betray me Mr E!" she clutched the helmet tightly.

"Give me the helmet," he signed.

"Aw, scared of showing your face still? Don't want to look like Zane?!" she sneered. It hit Echo how differently she was acting now that he wasn't obeying her. That fond smile had faded. He felt a moment of a clarity, his senses, all 6, seemed to kick in at that moment.

"You really are a two face, aren't you?" his fingers potryed a much gentler tone. He turned and walked out of the room, then the base.
