i wasn't too sure about how these had turned out at first, but after seeing them in game they actually grew on me, so here they are. thank you @gvaudoiin-tricou for encouraging me to finish them and share! i hope you like them :-)

since this is essentially a mash-up of several people's work (see credits), frankenstein-ed together, it feels pretty appropriate for the theme.... 🧟‍♂️🔪🦇🩸👽 consider this a tiny late simblreen treat, hehe 🎃

these separate tops are for AF only*, since that's what i needed in my game (but the TF/EF meshes should be easy to copy-paste onto) [edit: *added links to an AM version as well]

they are categorized as everyday, sleepwear and athletic (not sure who would want to sleep or exercise in fishnets but hey i'm not judging. also it's really easy to remove them if you like, since they're a separate texture from the shirt)

compressorized, tooltipped, and the files are labeled clearly. the swatch and previews are included in the rar file.

full disclosure, this mesh has a few issues i don't currently have the skills to fix: it has no fat morph (😑), and there is some clipping in places depending on how the sim moves, and a few dark spots (not super noticeable with the black texture, thankfully). if anyone feels inspired to fix the mesh or add morphs, i'll happily update this post and the linked file.

Progress Update - 3/4/24

Hello and happy March!

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? 😅 Well, I finally have some good news for you this time: I have some actual news!

I'm happy to be able to announce at last that an update is on its way! I’ve still got some assets to make and code cleanup and testing to finish, but I should finally have something to show you soon.

I’ll put a cut at the end of this and go into more detail about the what and why of what I’ve been working on during this long and unintended hiatus, but the tl;dr is that I hope to have an update out by the end of the month, and that said update will break any saves made in Chapter 4. Unfortunate, but unavoidable, since Chapter 4 had to be recoded from the beginning 😞

I just want to thank all of you once again for sticking with me through my extended silence! Especially to my patrons who’ve put up with me putting everything on pause month after month while I dealt with my real life shit, and to everyone who’s sent me kind and supportive messages to let me know Speaker hasn’t been forgotten. It really means a lot to me.

Okay, enough of that sappy shit! I’m gonna get back to work finishing this up 😁 I’ll put out another update later this month once I have a more definite release date.

I won’t go into the personal life stuff I’ve been dealing with this past year that has slowed down my work, but as far as the actual game goes: 

To put it simply, I just wasn’t happy with it. Some of it could be because of how many times I had to reread the same section while I was coding the scenes that would’ve taken place after the last update, but no matter how much I edited or rearranged it, I didn’t like how that scene turned out. There was something… formulaic that had been happening with the way I always laid out scenes, and a bit of stagnation in the story, character, and relationship development that bothered me.

So I rewrote it. And when I still didn’t like it, I rewrote it again. And I still didn’t like it. I thought about scrapping the whole thing on more than one occasion as I struggled to get out of the corner I’d written myself into.

Inspiration finally struck at the beginning of this year, thanks in part to another interactive novel I follow, and I really like the direction I’ve taken it now. 

Instead of the RO split scenes happening where the last one left off, Speaker, Seer, and Gavin are gonna have a chat about Things™ to move the next story arc forward. Then Speaker will get some downtime, by themself at first and then in an extended scene split with the RO of their choosing. 

All the Big Plot Things that were going to happen in Chapter 4 will be moved to Chapter 5 instead, and 4 will be a bit more of a filler episode. A deep breath before the plunge, as it were.

This split won’t just be a quick conversation/reaction from the RO, but a full on different direction for the rest of the chapter based on who you choose. Most of them will involve leaving the house; all of them will involve actual one-on-one time (or one-on-two time, as the case may be) away from the others. And though romance isn’t required, all of them will have the potential to really move the romance forward if you so choose. One or two might even have a lock-in choice (maybe. I’m not 100 percent on that, so don’t hold me to it) 

These scenes won’t be in the next update, because they’re all very complex, but the update will definitely have the Seer chat and at least some of the by-yourself stuff. The update after will have the rest of the alone time stuff (including the clothes/body CC you’ve all been waiting for), and then the one after will start the RO scenes. I think.

I may actually split the RO scenes into separate updates, and let my darlings over at Patreon vote for the order they’re released. That way I can focus on one at a time instead of trying to split my attention six ways at once.

Okay, that’s enough rambling for me today. Time to get back to work! Still got a lot to get done before this is ready, but it’s so close now.

Yerba Mate Tea Set

Hi :) My fiancé recently discovered yerba mate tea and showed me the gorgeous traditional gourd cups it's drank from. I actually hadn't noticed that Sims can drink this type of tea with the Outdoor Adventures pack, lol. Sadly, it doesn't come with the beautiful gourd cups or special straws. So I wanted to make a functional, drinkable version with cups, based on the functional tea trays from My Wedding Stories.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be harder than I expected. I know My Wedding Stories is buggy, but I didn't expect to encounter so many issues when play-testing the CC. I couldn't resolve them and I couldn't find enough info on the subject, so I decided to edit the initial trays I'd made and make decorative versions because I still wanted to have those lovely gourd cups.

❤ TL; DR: I failed at making a functional tea, but I still had fun making a deco version. I hope you like it. ❤

What is the dream smp drama ?

tl;dr called all Tommyinnit fans the r slur, deleted the tweet and didn't apologise till waaaay later, before which he made multiple streams and all the shit about him started coming out again (because his streams made everything worse). Tubbo made a stream about it in a very mature way by asking to talk on stream (Dream has a history of cutting private conversations up to make other creators look bad) and eventually it just turned into Tubbo vs Dream because Tommy blocked him, and Dream started being a shit to Tubbo. Most of the dsmp, some outside ccs, and editors/twitter folk who were in the fandom got involved revealing more stuff about Dream and how shitty he was.

BOO. This is gonna take too long so i'm posting it before it's finished and gonna edit it over time. As Tubbo himself said, this situation is a death by a 1000 cuts (small problems which kinda blew up recently)

Dream and Quackity had drama. That's a whole other thing and i'm not sure we can really go into it without this being comparable to Do you love the colour of the sky so we'll assume you know what happened there. (~April 2022)

A little after this were the first set of grooming allegations against Dream, made by Alexandria (October 2022)

This just caused the dsmp to kinda just fall out

Tommy made a video entitled "If Youtubers were Honest" which included a part on the Dream vs Quackity (5 Aug 2023)

Dream texted Tom's mum, bro literally harassed Tom's mum

fast forward to 2025:

Tommyinnit calls Mizkif the worst person he’s knows

Mizkif calls Tommy cringe and annoying which xQc also does in his reaction to Mizkif's stream

Tommy called xQc a trump supporter (true)

xQc had a public meltdown saying Trump is cool and that Tommy is dickriding Dream (but he does this by giving free promo to Tommy's show)

Dream quotes with the following meme.

This is where our path also diverges because there are so many streamers. Everyone reacts to the tweet and Dream deletes it.

Then Dream ranted to reddit saying he didn’t understand cause he’s autistic so he should be able to reclaim it (stupidest thing i’ve ever heard). It was meant to be his "apology". He also mentioned that the public’s reaction to Nicolas Cantu doing the same was generally positive (while i do agree most of the public went overboard in terms of support for Cantu especially when he used slurs as insults - most people only focused on him calling out Dream for covering up assaults and being weird around women and children + after the initial hype died down most people did agree his use of slurs and harassment of the driver was horrible - hence why he’s literally gone. He has no upcoming roles and he's def not coming back for the tmnt sequel). The biggest issue here is how instead of taking accountability he’s pulling this whataboutism card.

Also just a note that he claims he saw the meme, but people did the reverse image search - he created it.

id: Genuinely still confused on what the "rules" are. Honestly not trying to be obtuse, multiple people go viral calling me the r word and everyone explains that its ok because they're neurodivergent, so then I see a meme that uses it and post it and get absolutely throttled for it. Obviously it's the internet being disingenous, but that doesn't completely invalidate anyone that might be upset by it. Most of the people calling me ableist for using it are the same people that lit off fireworks when Nicolas Cantu was the slur slinging slasher (including Tommy's closest friends). it's either okay or it's not okay, the double standards are infuriating. I have my own reasons for having a problem with Tommy going around being the "internet police" and was expecting to get a lot of shit for going after poor Tommy that lies about me constantly, but obviously i had no intentions of attacking every Dream SMP fan or being ableist lmao. It was a dig at Tommy fans, because somehow the worst of the ex dream smp stans have congregated all to make up lies and shit on other creators and Tommy feeds right into it to promote his patreon, shows or wharever else he's currently promoting, because he has absolutely no backbone. Either way, my lesson from this is that twitter is somehow even less reasonable than i thought in the first place, oh and don't use the r word under any circumstances even if you see a funny meme and you're autistic. Lesson learned, hopefully i can be forgiven. Back to coding

Tubbo did a 1 hour stream on this. Technically he did a 7 hour stream he cut into bits, but for the sake of the timeline making sense, he made a 1 hour stream. He was gonna talk to Dream on stream. He agrees that his friends do shit talk more than he's comfortable with BUT

Why is Dream only getting involved and doing this much when Tommy insulted xQc and not you know when he called Dream a pedo

You can't reclaim a slur if you use it as an insult

He thought this entire thing was Dream ragebaiting to get people ready for a new song or smth, and he reminded the audience of Nicolas Cantu being drunk.

Tommy in this time released a video saying he blocked Dream and that it was horrible that Dream used the r slur. From this point Tubbo decided against calling Dream, instead watching Dream's 3 hour stream on the topic and reacting to it.

The reason the lore makes no fucking sense is because he just randomly adds or retcons things with no explanation and, at this point, I think he just enjoys watching people (especially MatPat) go crazy theorizing

Like, the man may as well have confirmed dream theory a few years ago, only to go "wait, never mind, here’s Sister Location and everything is real, I promise"

I doubt even Scott understands his own story because it was written with the same grace and talent as an edgy middle school kid trying to write the next Jeff the Killer, so they shove everything they think is cool into the story, whether or not it fits

People say "oh, he didn't realize it would be more than (however many) games. He didn't plan that far ahead," but that excuse should only get you so far when you are writing a story

It's pretty clear that after at least game 4 (some say game 3, so I'm being nice), he stopped caring about the story and began just duct taping things he thought were interesting into a story that could've been wrapped up with MAYBE 5 games (1, 2, 3, 4, and pizzeria Sim with something in the other four to explain Baby and Molten Freddy, or get rid of them, I don't care), but instead it's a cluster fuck of weird details that DON’T MAKE SENSE

Look, I think a lot of us, myself included, can sometimes confuse a good CONCEPT with a good STORY

The storytelling of FNAF is dog shit, but the concept is just SO good, which is why people like the FNAF VHS tapes so much: these people are able to take a terrifying and interesting concept and make a truly good implied horror story with it in the way Scott NEVER could

And don't get me started on the books: First, they're not canon, then they're canon, but also, some stories may only be canon in another alternate universe or something, but if you actually want to understand something, you need to read some of the books

Your story should not have to be told across multiple different media for it to be even SLIGHTLY coherent. It's fine if you want to add in details that aren't too important to understanding the entire thing (like, we don't specifically need to know the names of each kid William killed, but it's a cool fact to know. Or maybe expand on how Freddy's and the incidents affected different people), but, as cool as it was, Golden Freddy being possessed by two children is a pretty crucial point to the rest of the series to be in just some activity book that so easily could've been overlooked as something fun to do related to FNAF (IMO)

Not to mention, we apparently can't even agree on the name of the Crying Child who, I think, was the catalyst for this entire story (because we can't even seem to agree if Elizabeth or CC died first)

TL;DR FNAF is a great concept, and it's been shown that it can make a great story by people who are much more skilled than Scott Cawthon (or maybe they just care more about this series than it's own creator, I don't fucking know)

Also, sorry if I'm incoherent or get anything wrong, I typed this while I was incredibly tired, but I did try to edit it as much as I could the past few days

CAS dividers - HAIR

This project didn't turn out the way I had planned, but hopefully all these hours I spent working on the files haven't been a total waste; so if anyone has any use for these whatsoever, be it the dividers, the instructions, the icons or the overrides, then please help yourself! 🤍

My grand plan was to create overrides for all EA hairs so that they could be sorted by Batch Editing the Display Index. 

Unfortunately EA has some kind of override baked into all Pack-files, which makes them unable to be sorted. That means in CAS they will show up on top regardless of Display Index of the file itself (or other files). In order to bypass this, the PackID in each file must be edited to match the Base Game-ID, which is only possible with Cmar's s4pe Program (as far as I'm aware), but it's currently not working (at least not for me), so I'm unable to solve this. BUT should the program ever get updated then I will definitely start fixing the pack-files.

*if anyone is somehow able to make Pack-overrides with edited PackIDs then they are more than welcome to let me know!

TL;DR --  Only Base Game files and CC items are able to be categorized.

I don't want to put this on anyone else's post because they are right: you can get sims 1 and 2 for free and get them to work.

Some people do not want to climb up the ass of their computers to get a game to work.

My husband sees when I have to make changes to the game, and he says it seems like a lot of work. And it can be! SimPE, Hoodchecker, WhatCausedThis, Graphics Rules Checker, spreadsheets and randomizers and all that! Just to make sure a game I love works the way I want it to.

And we are lucky! We have an active community for a game that is literally 20 years old. We get new toys to play with and new fixes all the time. Not a lot of games have that.

But. I need you to listen.

Going through all the hoops to get a game to work should not be the cost of entry.

We are not better people than others because we have put in that work. We should not be sticking our noses up in the air when EA makes our favorite game available for modern OSes, to a new generation of people who may love our game.

Sure, it'll have a cost associated. EA is a company. "But they gave UC away for years!" But didn't support it or provide any modernization fixes. The community did that.

And now both 1 and 2 will be available and updated to work on Windows 10/11. With all expansions. And assumptively, without having to edit files and use third-party tools to get them to work.

People who have only played 3 or 4 will be able to experience the original and the first sequel, maybe even for the first time! We may have new people coming into the community with their own ideas and cc and mods. This is a good thing!

And this is behavior we want to encourage from EA! For so long they barely acknowledged that the first two games existed, let alone let anyone play them. They were even claiming that they were vastly inferior to say, 4 but that's just like your opinion, man. Now they are making them available! This should be something we're happy about!

I don't get why the elitism is so prevalent. You don't have to get their updated version if yours works. That product is clearly not for you. But it can be for lots of people who have not had the chance.

Personally, I'm going to wait and see. I have hopes. I'll likely pick up 1 no matter what, but I'm crossing my fingers for an increased resolution. As for 2, I am begging and dying for 64-bit. If it is, you bet your ass I'm going to get it. If not, ah well.

TL;DR: Quit being so stuck-up about the older games being back on sale in a few days.

hi hi! so... it's been a while! *checks notes* i have not posted since august... of last year x.x i've been lurking around a bit occasionally dropping likes here and there, but for the most part been entirely absent. i feel like it's wayyyy past time for me to check-in, let everybody know i'm okay and all that jazz. but i am declaring this an actual hiatus now

i lost the simblr itch, i thought "surely it will come back" but it never came back and now i'm hyperfixating on other things.

i'm gonna put specifics under a read more if anyone's that interested in what i've been doing, what i will be doing, where i'll be hanging out now, etc. but it's really nothing big or major--just interests changing.

nothing really. or at least nothing different from how it's been for the last year and some change XD like i said, i'm still keeping my blogs up, downloads won't move, etc. i am just committing to not actively posting content or really being on simblr that much. maybe i'll drop some likes or comments when the mood hits (like i have been), but not really much else. i guess if there's any questions about this i'll answer them since my active attention will be back on simblr for at least a few days while i clean some things up. i would like to do one last thing as a kind of parting gift at some point... i never did end up cleaning up my downloads page or organize the thumbs/sorting for my cc like i said i would so maybe i'll do that before it gets away from me again but i'm not making any promises

⭐why am i on hiatus?

nothing bad happened or anything, i just.... lost interest. I already wasn't really playing the game that much even when i was super active; i mostly just took pictures and did edits. but i just wasn't having as much fun as i used to, opening the game started feeling like a chore, i wasn't all that inspired to make content, etc. i've burnt out on simblr on many an occasion so i just took a break like i always do but it kept going...and going.......and going.........until i realized it had been FOREVER and i hadn't really felt the itch to create here during that time, it wasn't coming back, and i was having much more fun doing other stuff. the times i did consider coming back it was more bc i felt bad about not creating rather than any actual desire to create. so i had to think long and hard about whether or not i even really wanted to come back. and i flip-flopped for probably 6 months--trying to drum up creative projects and never committing--before coming to the conclusion that i think i just need to call it a hiatus XD

⭐what have i been up to?

annoying my family with boycott lists and making them buy alternatively :D bouncing back and forth between many different hyperfixations... i fell back down the skyrim rabbithole several times, genshin, stardew, acnh, made a million notion pages i'll never use--the usual suspects. BUT BG3! at one point i swore i was gonna come back end of july/early aug but then BG3 dropped early and it was over... i definitely did A LOT of heavy lurking here when the girlies were all posting GORGEOUS tavs omg... i spent a while getting ts3 up and running, even made a sideblog thinking "maybe i'll come back with ts3 content that would be cool!"... just to not end up playing and not using the sideblog and not coming back -.- 4LIENS were supposed to have a comeback like... 4 separate times and it just did not happen... i've been making a concerted effort to get back into drawing and art. i've been in a kind of... depression? slump? with it for years now; always feeling like it wasn't good enough, that i should be better since i'm so "gifted and talented", i should be monetizing it and not "wasting" all that skill, blah blah imposter syndrome blah blah getting frustrated when i'm not 100% perfect all the time blah blah feeling like a disappointment to my family blah blah... but i am HELLA sick and tired of having all this anxiety and fear surrounding something i used to love so much so i'm pushing through! i've been trying out lots of different mediums and actually using my sketchbooks and just generally trying to introduce more fun into the process and stop being so hard on myself all the time. i picked up crocheting for a bit. at this point i haven't touched it in so long i probably forgot how to do it but... maybe one day i'll make a blanket or smth I started journalling (relatively) regularly for a bit. i was feeling really down at several points throughout the year and i thought having daily entries would help combat the feeling like every day was just absolute shit. on the contrary, the majority of days are good--at worst mundane--the bad ones just tend to stick out more. trying to get back into reading again... i miss doing it for leisure and taking notes bc i want to and not because i have a 300 annotation school assignment :P and a whole bunch of other stuff probably but it's hard to remember every single thing that's been on my mind for 16 months lol

i'm hoping to start a webtoon/build up art socials in the new year as a part of my "reconnecting to art" process. i made some art socials @kbearie-art here and @/kbearie_art on insta, youtube, tiktok, and twitter; they're empty for now though bc i got scared the minute i made them and never posted anything -.- but i'll be real with you... twitter is a cesspool, and im not fond of tiktok so i think tumblr, insta and youtube will probably be where i'll dedicate my time i've been thinking about getting back into posting videos on youtube again just in general. in fact this thought was the final push for me to make this post bc i was like... if i post a video out of the blue with no word to simblr that would be fked up XD i play games all the time and i had such a fun time recording, learning to edit and stuff that i think i'd like to pursue that further. i wouldn't be doing sims related stuff though bc...well... i don't play anymore XD but other games ya know. my other youtube is kspice (the same place with my tutorials, speed edits, the acnh vid, etc.) if you'd be interested in that

If you can't quite wrap your head around the Tumblr history fact that you used to be able to change the text of someone else's post when reblogging it…

Consider.

You also used to be able to change Twitter posts when retweeting them-- because "retweet" used to be just copy-pasting someone else's tweet and adding "RT" and their username. People who wanted a lot of RTs would consciously choose to leave space in the character limit for it. If they didn't, even their most faithful fans might edit their text, just because they had to make it fit. (Character limit was 140 back then, and I think usernames even counted toward it at first.)

And before Twitter and Tumblr and other "modern" social media, we had email lists. Quoting someone there meant just leaving the original email text from the email you were replying to. It was distinguished from your replies only with carets at the beginnings of the lines, and was totally editable. It looked like this:

and if you edited it, it could look like this:

...but this sort of editing didn't HAPPEN very often.

because 1. if you want to be snarky at someone it's usually easier and less obviously childish to just snark in your reply, and 2. if you want to distort what someone else said for purposes of misinformation, it's ridiculously ineffective to do it in a chain of emails where everyone can just go back and check on what was originally said.

And you know what? Before email lists, there were paper letters you got in the mail. And if someone wanted to "repost" and mail you a letter they'd gotten from someone else, either 1. they had to mail you that original letter and not have it anymore, or 2. they had to have a copying machine, or 3. the letter had to have originally been written on carbon paper to produce triplicate copies of it (that's what "CC" means, carbon copy) or 4. they had to just write down what the other letter said, and you had to just trust or not trust them about how faithfully they were transcribing it.

And before postal mail, people just talked. And again you had to make your own judgments about how accurately they quoted what they'd heard from anyone.

tl;dr: Being able to edit quotes from other people is the default state of the world, and technology that tries to convince you it's impossible by default will end up atrophying your fact-checking skills if you're not careful to watch out for that.

Hi! TL;DR: Managing my CC is a challenge and scrolling through CAS is a nightmare due to poorly tagged (or untagged) items and the sheer volume of content ☹️

I used to delete items that didn’t fit the overall aesthetic — like alpha clothes clashing with Maxis Match — but after starting to use GShade, everything blends together much better. Even pieces with subpar textures now look significantly improved 🦾 Since starting my Tumblr, I’ve gone on countless shopping sprees for specific themes, like mermaid items, so my mods folder has grown substantially. This makes purging it an overwhelming task 😢 Ideally, I’d organize my custom content using the batch index feature in Sims 4 Studio. By now, after linking so much CC for my lookbooks, I can often recognize creators at a glance. However, the sheer effort required to sort everything has kept me from starting. Also, I’d never delete items I’ve already used on a Sim. Once a Sim gets their look, they stick with it for a long time! xD Aaand maybe your question was just about my PC specs — I’ve actually answered that before here ⚙️

Hey Simmers, it's a BIG day for Rudi. After years of CC- and Mod-Consuming, it's time for my first upload. (this post is originally from January 2022)

Recently I placed this aquarium in my living room and my Sims got offended by this abomination of a pattern on the bottom of my new favorite fish tank. So had to get rid of it. It took three small photoshop edits and a very small learning curve, voila my first mod/edit was born. Since I'm a beneficiary of so many mods from this awesome community, the time was right to give something back.

To make this edit work, you need to have the Store Content Tropical Aquarium from Sunlit Tides Gold installed. It's a default replacemant of the of the original version. I only edited the first preset. The other presets still have the wood carvings from the original. This way you can have both in game.

I dearly hope you enjoy it and your digitial fishy friends as well. :luff:

hi! sorry if this is a silly question--how did you get the new crow dress to edit? i'm just getting into cc making and was looking for the meshes of the new EP stuff to edit, but couldn't find anything in my newly updated S4S. you're the first person i've seen make CC with L&D so I thought I'd ask!

Not silly at all! I noticed the clothes are named by their EP number, so I looked in the bin file to see what life and death was.

Tl;Dr answer: search for EP17 in S4S and everything will pop up :3

Hi :)

My fiancé recently discovered yerba mate tea and showed me the gorgeous traditional gourd cups it's drank from. I actually hadn't noticed that Sims can drink this type of tea with the Outdoor Adventures pack, lol. Sadly, it doesn't come with the beautiful gourd cups or special straws. So I wanted to make a functional, drinkable version with cups, based on the functional tea trays from My Wedding Stories.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be harder than I expected. I know My Wedding Stories is buggy, but I didn't expect to encounter so many issues when play-testing the CC. I couldn't resolve them and I couldn't find enough info on the subject, so I decided to edit the initial trays I'd made and make decorative versions because I still wanted to have those lovely gourd cups.

❤ TL; DR: I failed at making a functional tea, but I still had fun making a deco version. I hope you like it. ❤

Hello hi hi! I hope you are having a good day today.

-- tl;dr: Pack still in progress, but will be a large one. Still don't know when it will be finished/released.

For the ones that want more info:

As i said, this pack is something bigger than my previous ones. I wanted to divide it in more parts so i could release them more frequently, but in this case i feel that its not the ideal thing to do. I wanted to do a "museum" pack, but i don't want it to be just items that you can place in a museum, but a complete pack that has all you need for the museum itself (maybe not the bathroom or dining areas, but for exhibits and such). And its taking me a lot of time.

The dinosaurs themselves take a lot of time compared to clutter items or even furniture. I tried to make them simplified at first, but noticed that i can make these more complex meshes without making them hiper-high poly. And i'm really proud of the results! but of course, making them like these take more time than im used to.

Same as the signs and info displays. Could i use Ai or steal art from pinterest? yes, that would make it easier and faster. But i'm a person that is heavily against the use of Ai generated images (nop, they are not art!) and i also dislike when people just grab images from small artists and paste it on their work without giving proper credits to the artists. Thats not what i want to do with my cc, so im just drawing all my info signs with my wacom, and trying my best to give credits to the paleoartist im basing my work on (in a way thats not disruptive to the cc either) and using my own in-game edited screenshots from Prehistoric Kingdom. I know that some of you won't notice the difference or won't care in either case, and thats valid, i prefer to take a bit more time to work, in a way that aligns with my values.

This pack already has +20 items, but since this is a "dream pack" of mine, i just want to deliver the best i can. I'm still learning features and new ways to improve quality, and i really hope that you can see it while using my items in your game. Thank you for your patience, and i really think it's worth the wait!

7. whats the biggest risk you’ve taken with your story? did it pay off?

The biggest risk (so far) is telling this story in general and how I'm not holding back with the subject matter(s). I know simblr tends to shy away from like bloody/gory shit and all of that, even as it's integral to the story itself, and... y'know, it's Sicko Hours at Ennie's place (I've got juice!); there's so many TWs. It's like that one post -- tws for a heads up, tws for 'oh word? 👀' very ymmv.

I'm not sure if it's paying off, though. Slightly over it at this point.

9. what about your story are you looking to improve on?

So, a while back, tumblr switched to the new text editor, which means that I got knee capped into 30 pics each post. And for those who've been here a minute, my posts were always long with multiple scenes. Like 5. I'm having to condense things and really having to think what shots to use (even if I take the same amount... the most I've took for a scene was like 250 something.)

tl;dr - pacing. I know it's a little wonky; I'm trying my best here! 😫

15. what have been the highlights of creating your story?

Getting to use all of this CC I've gotten over the years!! All of it is so super niche-y and without it, I wouldn't have been able to tell this story (accurately). It's also great how everything's coming together, y'know? I've had skill growth since the last time I did this, and my skills and editing are really shining through.

20. choose your favourite shot from your story so far

ngl, there's so many, but this one?? let me count the ways:

The sheer fury of The Werewolf has in this scene, but I like how this shot came out. The toxins in his veins that are (unbeknownst to him) actively killing him at this point. He's in unimaginable pain, but his anger is even more. He's had it.

The veins themselves and how you can see them as he's fighting it. (I've had to double them up and also use some others for his face as well.)

the fucking monitor in the background (lord do not get me started on that but it's for Enhancement and leave it at that.)

The Werewolf making his proclaimation: "I will fucking kill every one of you; you will not get away with this and you will suffer my pain."

if anyone else is intrigued by this -- I guess this part will be my hook.

And I felt that. Really. I struggled with that whole scene basically until I posted it, but I feel like I got the emotion part of it down. if I'm gonna be honest, I didn't know what to do for that scene until I had a Rogue Thought™️, and I made damn sure I was gonna be able to pull it off. I say I did.

there's so much more I can gush about this part but we will be here all night lol

21. choose your least favourite shot so far

It's a good shot but it's my 'least' favorite is because of what happens. (aka pics taken before disasters.) And really, this shot alone tells you what kind of person Charles is. This mfer's vibe? Hideous. Rancid. Abhorrent. Etc.

28. if you could reproduce your story in another medium (movie, novel, comic, etc.) what would you choose and why?

Comic, hands down. I say this because if it were a movie, it wouldn't make sense and also, who tf would play John/The Werewolf? No one is even close!!
