DOZING OFF TOGETHER — BOKUTO KŌUTARŌ ‪♡‪

synopsis. you're away from bokuto for a long while now because of how busy college is, and because of this he begins to miss you so bad.

you've got mail ✉ ! if you couldn't tell i really enjoyed describing bokuto 'rapidly' talking, also forgive me if i haven't posted anything lately D:

you were at your university dorm. your body swayed side to side from how tired you are. those long ass lectures and lessons really made your brain worn out.

making your way to the bed. you flopped down onto the furniture, its springs making you recoil on the soft sheets of the bed.

you began to ease up after finally getting to be able to get some rest. stretching your arms, you let out a loud yawn while your eyelids began to droop down. the tiredness you felt all day is getting to you.

you shifted on the bed, closing your eyes, and your thoughts began to drift off as you started to fall asleep.

ring! ring! ring!

the phone beside you is vibrating and was playing your ringtone loudly over and over again. you groaned and tried to let the call pass by, but the mysterious caller seems to not give up easily.

sighing, you lift your head heavily. your hand then grabs the phone. your tired eyes opened up slightly when you saw the callers name.

'bokou <3'

it's the cute nickname that you gave him.

and without hesitation, your thumb presses the green button. you then were greeted by a loud voice. "Y/N BABYYYYYY! I MISS YOU!" he says, ending it with a happy giggle.

"heyy bokou," you reply, trying to sound excited, but the exhaustion stopped you from doing so. "babyy can you open your camera? i miss that pretty face of yours." he says, clearly smiling through his words despite not having his camera open.

"but bokou i look tired-" your words were then cut off by bokuto. "so? c'mon babyy i just miss you badlyyy!" he then opens his camera, showing his face that had a pouty expression and puppy dog eyes that you couldn't resist.

and of course, this little eye trick of his works on you.

"fine." you sighed out in defeat. you then pressed the camera button, and his pouty expression instantly vanished away, now replaced with a cheery one. "i missed your face so much.." he said, adoring your face despite you looking like an absolute mess, but he loves it otherwise.

you rolled your eyes, trying to put on an 'annoyed' appearance, but the slight curve on your mouth betrays you. the man giggles through the phone, having a bright smile on his face.

the both of you then talked and told about each other's day. some blabbering here and some blabbering over there.

bokuto then starts to ramble on and on about random things that occurred to his day. you then laugh occasionally, trying to keep up with his lively rambling. but as much you want to pay attention and listen to your boyfriend's jabbering, your sleepiness just won't go away.

your eyelids drooped, heavy with weariness. the weight of your tiredness threating you to put you into sleep. you began succumb to the feeling of falling asleep, but you jerk your head up to prevent it.

lifting your head to look at the screen, it appears to be that bokuto hasn't stopped chattering. he seems to be talking about how he thinks the number 8 looks 'weird', and switches on to a new topic with an old story of his on how his mind had an impulsive thought to do a cartwheel in the middle of the road with his friends watching him, and to no one's surprise of course he does it.

his mindless chatter goes through your ear and goes out of the other. the exhaustion is really getting to you.

your drooping eyes then completely close down. but instead of jerking up your head this time, your tired mind shuts down, and his words start to become a blur. you can feel your consciousness fade away, and eventually, you doze away to a deep slumber.

minutes pass by, and bokuto's chatter starts to slow down as he notices the very quiet silence. he raises his brow and looks at his phone.

the view of your face sleeping peacefully, displayed on his phone. his eyes observed your face, taking notice the dark circles under your eyes. he hears your gentle breaths being emitted through the phone, and his eyebrows automatically scrunches up. 'aw man, did she get tired from me constantly talking?' he thinks to himself, pouting and feeling a dejected.

he overthinks for a reason to you sleeping so easily, despite him being quite loud during the call. but then his mind clicks as he recollects you talking about how your day went. "ahh, i see.." he sighs in relief that he wasn't the cause of it.

his eyes, then look back at your sleeping self. He smiles slightly. "i guess your classes really did something to you, huh?" he says in a hushed tone to not awaken you. an idea then pops into bokuto's mind. "i really wish we could talk more, but i guess you can still listen to me!" he puts up a bright smile before telling more about his day, even though you're well asleep.

he chatters went endlessly. he finds comfort when you just stay and listen to him just chatting. i guess you could say he enjoys being by you, being always ready to listen to him.

but alas, his talking came to a halt. he eventually falls asleep, his phone slipping out of his hand a bit. and because he fell asleep during the call, he fails to end it.

the call then goes on for hours. delicate soft breaths were heard on his phone while loud snoring was heard on yours.

morning then came, the loud sounds of the bustling street woke you up. stretching your arms with a yawn, you then observed your messy bed.

you then caught the sight of your phone, it was on and black and white tufts of hair were visible. you squint your eyes trying to remember the events of yesterday.

you then recall the memory of you falling asleep, whilst bokuto was rambling energetically. now that you recalled things, you took your phone that was hot to touch because it was open for a long time.

watching your boyfriend sleep, you chuckle lightly. causing him to be waken up and turn around—facing the camera.

his tired eyes look at his phone, and he sees your pretty face looking through the camera. you smiled at him. "morning bokou, did you sleep well?" you asked "yup, you uh fell asleep while we called." he says, letting out a tired giggle.

he rubs his eyes before speaking again. "soo, what time are you gonna go home later?" he asks, hoping for an early time.

you look at him baffled "huh? what do you mean, bo?" you give him a confused look, and he mirrors it "what time are ya' going home..?" he repeats himself

"bokou.." you put your hand against your face, lightly massaging it "what?" his brow raised up. he then waits for your next words.

"i.. um.. i'm not going home till next m—"

" WHAAATTT?? " he says, cutting you off with a blaring voice that echoed through your phone.

" aughh but why?? " he whines, dragging out the last word.

he continued to whine and pout for the next few minutes of the call. you watched him toss and turn around, his camera wobbled violently. the slight feeling of guilt caused you to sigh. you then tried to cheer him up by saying random things, but it wouldn't work.

he just really wants to see you right now so badly (；′⌒`)

(All characters are over 18 btw)

-dogday sometimes has dog like tendencies, like growling, barking etc.

-he doesn't remember a lot about his life as a worker but will share stories he remembers of his human life once you two become close.

-man is like a love sick puppy. First you save him? Give him legs? AND a home?! And his friends are here too?! You really are his angel.

-he's very protective of his angel. He can't have anyone take them away or even hurt them. Plus all those years locked away, he can't loose you, you're his hope.

-this man will most certainly plan his confession, script and all. Maybe you're away at work and this is something he's been working on for a while. He's always bringing you little gifts on his hunting trips (depending on if you like to collect rocks and such) but this dude went out of his way to find the best of the best. Even somehow found flowers beautiful enough to almost rival your beauty, keyword: almost.

-he enjoys spending time with you, poppy and kissy, he enjoys playing outside with you three, even if you guys have been out of the factory for years already. They still enjoy the outside world.

-I know bro is huge, like dude is taller than an American door way (according to some measurements fans have made, hes 9'5) if you're a shorty (like me 5 feet even😭) he will most definitely pick you up and carry you like a dogtoy. He likes the feeling of carrying his angel, it gives him a sense of pride doing so. Even if you accidentally hit the ceiling or he needs to really get down so you don't hit the top of the doorframe, he will always apologize or joke about it.

-he's a cuddler, he LOVES cuddling! He has his own giant dog bed in your shared room, but he prefers to sleep on your shared bed. If you're away from work and he's eepy, he'll pass out on your bed because it smells like you. Your scent keeps him at bay until you come home. Poor guy will shoot up and push anyone out of his way to be the first to get to you! He sits there on the floor waiting for his mandatory headpats and kisses as soon as he hears your keys.

-it takes his brain a few minutes to properly turn on. After all those years he finally gets proper sleep, I can imagine you waking up first and getting ready for the day to prepare breakfast for the group and you poke him, trying to wake him. He'll mumble some random stuff about not letting rats do taxes then fall back asleep only to be woken again by your pokes still talking nonsense. I can also see him sometimes waking up confused, you know like when you wake up your parents and they're mad for no reason asking what's wrong while gasping for air? (Just me?) I can see him being THAT dead asleep bhahsha

-my take on the survivor au is more of a modern take (as in yes the factory closed years also but reader is possibly in early to late 20s sometime in 20xx / non specified year) so they weren't an employee but probably knew someone like a family member who worked there or was dared to enter the factory (we'll see if I ever post my fanfic haha as these hcs kinda tie into that story) so dogday being alive in the 80s or 90s he probably has like the old school idea of love and attempts to swoon you as such. The flowers, cheesy pick up lines.

-I can imagine because he's not up to date with the newer terms and he might be confused while trying to seem cool haha. "Angel what does rizzler mean?" (Poor peepaw)

- Personally I love the theory that DogDay is an ex worker aka Rich. Which is probably why he was the leader of the smiling critters. Because he was mature enough to make sure everyone was in line/well behaved, I also think some other workers were turned into the mascots too (obviously) but maybe they trusted Rich more so they just threw him into the dance circle and hope that he'd be a good leader.

- this one ties into the first one btw! I like the think that maybe he was one of the mascots when he worked there. Like a guy in the costume who worked with the kids (hence the zipper, how else would the workers get into the bigger body suits?)

- I like to think DogDay likes when Angel calls him by his old human name. Maybe once he opens up more about his human life (or at least bringing up some of the memories he still has) he just randomly brings up his name when talking about a memory and hearing Angel repeat his name back, he'd probably like hearing it. It might make him feel like less of a monster in a sense. Granted I think he wouldn't care about what Angel calls him but he would most definitely prefer for them to alternate. Like you know when someone makes you mad and you use their real name instead of their nickname? He'd hate for his Angel to get mad, especially at him. But when living with 3 other people it can get a bit hectic.

"DogDay! Did you bring mud into the house?!"

"N-No!... "

*silence*

"RICH, WHERE ARE YOU?!"

*footsteps are heard and DogDay bolts out the door*

- Now this head canon I have can go either one of two ways, right? Hear me out. Listen up, listen carefully, and listen closely. (Lmk if you got that reference) ok so back to the zipper! I think the zipper just opens to his organs tbh like the zipper was just left functional in case he needed to be "repaired internally". BUT another thought, I also can see there being some sort of barrier! You know those stuff animals who have their stuffing blocked by a barrier so it doesn't fall out but the zipper opens to a compartment where you can store items? I kinda think that's whats there tbh, I mean it makes sense. What if one of the kids opened the zipper by mistake? Surely there would be a barrier just in case.

- as I mentioned in the last hc post, I can see him trying to swoon Angel in the old romantic type of way. I can see him pinning after Angel hard, at first they wouldn't get the hint, they'd probably think he's thinks he's indebted to them for rescuing them and giving the 3 of them a better and new life. But quickly they realize bro is in love. Of course poppy teases him about it too at some point lol. He doesn't really try to hide it either. I can see poppy and kissy thinking it's sweet and first then they get annoyed once you're the only thing he talk about lol.

- You're married. That's all! No but I can see in his mind you two are basically married. He'd probably want to have new custom star collars made for both of you or maybe even a ring for you and a matching collar or something for him to wear and propose. Of course it will bother him a bit because he can't go out with you, take you on dates or show you off but he trusts you (even though he gets jealous when you smell like someone else) he basically tries his best with what you guys have (If only there was a holiday that came once a year where you guys could go out dressed in customs without looking like freaks).

- He looks like the type of guy who would love pasta. I'm not sure why or how this even came into mind but I just feel like that's what he often wants for dinner. Poppy would probably eat fruit for dinner, kissy isn't really picky, but Dogday would probably be asking for either pasta or meat. Also I think Angel would be hesitant to feed certain foods to Dogday because you know, he's a dog (not really but hear me out) but because he acts like one at times I could see Angel being like haha nope you can't eat this!

"You know I'm not actually a dog...right?"

- tbh this is more of a general head canon for the toys but I seeing as they had to resort to c*nnibalism. They clearly need food and water to survive. I think catcap was probably keep Dogday alive as a "lol now look at you now, look at me" (yes that's a BP reference) moment but only feeds him when he felt like it, since food is basically scarce in that place. I think that their human organs were transferred over but little things like veins, teeth, tongue, blood vessels basically anything that's not a major organ was made artificially and connected in a sense to those major organs making them function as such.

Yeah that's kinda it lol, there might be some more parts to this if I can think of anything else! But yeahhh that's kinda my hc and rambles lol (I tend to ramble a lot especially when I have to give context, I apologize!)

I was typing up a sick headcanon post but it got too long and I fell asleep so I’m going to post it tomorrow. In the mean time my brain woke me up at 3 AM for the comic so here’s some eepy headcanons

Erin sometimes exhausts himself enough to pass out in the midst of sleep deprivation and papers and coffee. He used to do this more but an intervention was staged.

Falst can fall asleep anywhere regardless of apparent comfort level. If there’s only one bed he’ll sleep on the floor and won’t admit to kind of wanting the bed

Dainix startles easily due to reflex and is prone to jumping awake if touched unexpectedly. It’s not a serious concern and can admittedly be pretty funny, but it’s why Falst didn’t wake him up when he was having a nightmare on the boat (Falst gets it, he startles too when having nightmares)

Kendal is so still like a statue that he’s unfortunately an easy victim of practical jokes, like placing objects on him and seeing how long it takes him to notice (but he doesn’t really mind)

Tess snores quite loudly and is generally pretty undignified.

When waking up, Falst stretches and yawns like a cat

Erin got into shenanigans in mage academy and has seen all the practical jokes. He won’t admit to finding it amusing

When Dainix was with his old squad, they would all sometimes form a big cuddle pile. He kind of misses this

Somehow Alinua is always absolutely beautiful no matter how much of a mess you would think she would be

I was planning on making this aesthetic headcanon post with drawings and borders and stuff but I’m EEPY so,, UGLY LOOKING HEADCANONS!!!!!!

LAURA LEE :3333 i headcanon her as a Flip. A voluntary regressor! I think Laura Lee would just be a little angel, such a sweet little one. Always sharing and being able to put up with the other,,, not so well behaved little ones. As a Caregiver I CANNOT get the idea out of my head that she’s like a teacher. Giving the little ones lessons by the lake side, total Miss Honey from Matilda vibes… like teaching them their alphabets or their numbers with little songs 🥺🫶🏿

Lottie Matthews- Also a Flip, but with a caregiver lean. (In the wilderness she’s forced into a leader/carer role. So she’s definitely constantly taking care of all the littles). I think Lottie would be kind of independent when little, (involuntary.) maybe from ages 5 to 7, she’d want to do things on her own but mostly want a caregiver for supervision. Lottie would be nonverbal when regressed since she’s always had trouble communicating anyways. She likes to be praised for the little things, like pouring her own glass of milk and getting dressed— she was just never given attention much as a kid so that’d be nice for her.

Taissa: Regressor! I think it’s very much so involuntary and mostly to Middle space, she would have a lot of like tantrums and be generally pouty and mad. She probably wouldn’t notice she was little until someone else pointed it out.

Natalie: Teen Regresssor! Bc of trauma. Nat probably regresses to the ages of like 12-14. I think for the most part she would like sucking on lollipops but I could 100% see her making a deco paci. she’s usually rebellious when little, but it’s all in good fun, I could see maybe Lottie being her caregiver and Nat calling her “mom” or “ma”. But ALSO she may be a flip bc I love the idea of her being like a babysitter/big sister caregiver… she’s so sweet Misty: Pet Regressor/Flip. Vibes only. She bites people. She’s a puppy, a little excited puppy. Like in the pilot when she got excited doing the “BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ” and also as an adult she’s LITERALLY a caregiver so… Misty’s a lot of fun but idk, I could see her not really being good at dealing with high emotion situations (Ie; tantrums or accidents). She could come on a bit hard and condescending.

Mari: Regressor! Older kid, maybe 7-10! Mari’s personality definitely stays the same. A little Asshole if you ask me. I think Lottie would be her main caregiver, her mommy. But since Lottie takes care of ALL the little ones, Mari may act out for attention. I think Mari gets REALLY focused on the crafts she does and may not always notice when she has to go, so she’s padded. She’s super insecure abt her age regression bc of it. Javi Martinez: THATS A BABY. I’m right. I always will be. He’s semi verbal/nonverbal. he DEFINITELY clings to Shauna, that is his mama and I’m correct (i always am). Like just just I love them. He’s so sad and scared :c Shauna: Shauna’s an honorable mention bc I see her mostly as a Trauma Caregiver, she’s a mama to cope… but also Melanie Lynskey basically canonized Teen Regressor! adult Shauna so…

look me dead in my eyes and tell me this isn’t a mama and her little… HONORABLE MENTIONS: Fun dad/papa Jackie and strict mama Shauna, Big Brother CG Van, Playmate Crystal, Occasional Babysitter Akilah, Laura Lee giving Lottie one of those erasable magnet boards so she can write/draw to communicate, and ermmm that’s it :3

Finally had time to watch the new season! Opinions and spoilers under the cut

Ok so overall I liked the season. Nothing really special or that stood out to me but it's still a very enjoyable experience, and I'm very excited for part 2. Now for some more specific thoughts in a non specific order

Lloyd being super tired at the beginning is so funny. He's such an eepy little man please let him sleep (preferably not on the floor)

Big Riyu! He's such a cutie pie <3 he's got big ol toe beans!

I wanted to punch Egalt. I really wanted to punch Egalt. I'm sorry but his attitude is so infuriating I do not like it. I do however love how Wyldfyre annoys him into liking her. 10/10 exactly how I made friends.

Don't care much for the other teacher dragon and I already forgot her name but I hate how small her wings are. Several of the new dragons have problems like this but hers are extra bad. You cannot convince me she can fly with those

Overall I don't know how I feel about the new dragon lore. These random ass not even source dragons just being able to talk is so weird, and it's weird that dragons can do spinjitzu. The more we get into DR the more it feels like they're just ignoring all the previous dragon lore and doing their own thing (ok I know they are but consistency would have been nice)

Geo, Cole and the kids are so cute <3 the dads and their childeren <3 this silly little found family (heheh pun) means so much to me. Absolutely love seeing more of Bonzle and her character, she's very fun

There should have been more Euphrasia content

Really don't care for the villain situation or the overarching plot. Not to say i don't like it but it's kinda just there to me. Cinder is silly but I don't care about him nearly as much as everyone else. Like I said, I just don't care about it.

Keita Machida - Kurosawa (Cherry Magic Japan)

I absolutely ADORE this man. Attentive and kind and he's ssooo pretty. He is 5'11" (180cm), I want to climb him like a tree, thank you. I would do anything he asked. I have watched this show so many times in the last 6 months since i first watched it, its a little ridiculous. (eepy Kurosawa...oh how i adore him)

Khaotung Thanawat - Ray (Only Friends)

I love this man so much it hurts. I adore everything I've watched him in thus far but there is a /reason/ Ray is pictured in my about me on this blog. I related to Ray so much and his and Sand's scenes....oh wow... I have so many edits and gifs saved in a folder on my computer of this man, I am unwell about it (someone should recreate their dancing in the parking garage scene with me...)

Nut Supanut - Solo/Way (Oxygen/PitBabe)

I adored Nut in Oxygen (is it a little stiff, yeah, but i still liked it) I am a sucker for puppy like characters like Solo and hes just so incredibly Handsome. And Way is just...oh my god. Nut is legit the one of two reasons I started watching PitBabe. (Obsessed with the fact that Way is still kinda Puppy coded. He can take his frustration out on me, I'd consent to that)

Jimmy - Peun/Mohk (Vice Versa/Last Twilight)

I enjoyed Vice Versa and Jimmy immediately caught my attention when I watched it. And now with watching Last Twilight, many of my friends know just how UNWELL I am about this man. Mohk is so kind and attentive and he's so so handsome I cannot handle it. I made so many people watch the clip of him getting angry with August. When he got super quite? Lost my mind. (Look at him...look at his arms, are you kidding me??)

Ja Phachara Suansri - Leo/Punn (Don't Say No/Be Mine SuperStar)

THIS MAN IS 6'2" (188cm) THAT'S NOT FAIR. HE'S SO TALL (i'm a little jealous...) Ja is so pretty and him just throwing around First in Don't Say No like he was nothing? I lost it. The scene in the pool in Be Mine SuperStar where Punn and Ashi are talking and then Punn stands up? I was UNWELL (Punn is also another Puppy coded character and I will forever be a sucker for it)

Perth - Ae/Kanghan (Love By Chance/Dangerous Romance)

When I tell you some weird things came out of my mouth when I was telling my friends about Perth, I wish I was kidding (@darkroseespeon can attest to that). He's so incredibly ridiculously handsome and his smile is absolutely infectious. He's another that I would do anything they asked. (cue to me just repeatedly saying "he's so pretty" as i was trying to find a gif...)

Nat Thewphaingam - Nawin (Laws of Attraction)

I was living with some roommate when I was watching Laws of Attraction and they had a good laugh watching me LOSE MY SHIT when this man came on screen. I was immediately obsessed with Nawin. The bgm, the bloody tank, and the brass knuckles? I was a gonner. Truly in love with his antics and i would give a lot to be under him. (do you see his arms? the lighting? just...HIS FACE?)

Ji Sub - Jae Won (The Eighth Sense)

OMG one, this show is so important to me. Two, Ji Sub is a meal I could eat every day. I don't even have much more to say than that. He's just so handsome and he had such sad eyes... Jae Won, once they're finally boyfriends, is so sweet I just adore it so much. I love this man. (He was so cute in this scene I cant...)

Us Akkarachotsopon - Tay (Kinnprosche)

Tay is fully the embodiment of my never ending delima of do i want him or to i want to /be/ him???? His fashion sense is glorious and I will never be over it. The minute I start talking about it, its hard to get me to shut up. I would give ssoo much to take care of Tay and love him like he deserves. (Where the post that's like "i'll do anything for a boy with big brown eyes" or something like that. Also, this shirt?? I need it.)

Kiseki: Dear to Me

Am I cheating a little bit by talking about all four of them? Maybe. But I have made SO many people who are not into BLs watch this show FOR A REASON. I love it so much and I love all of them so dearly. AiDi and ChenYi's fashion? IMPECCABLE I'm obsessed and want to recreate some of their looks so bad. All their scene once they're finally together??? unbeatable to me. omfg. ZongYi and ZeRui's kitchen scene?? In shambles. SHAMBLES (I have a stuffed animal I named ZongYi cause he's so precious to me...and I want to get one to name AiDi)

Aaaahhh this...took me way longer to write than anticipated. Though part of that time was looking through endless amounts of gifs. to which, thank you to the gif makers, y'all make my day (haha xD) I have no idea who hasn't done this yet, (@mb-bls idk if you have or would want to?) but if you see this and want to do it, tag me so I can read it!!!!

hi umm I took a few hits off my pen and it made me alot higher and sleepier than I was expecting (it’s my first pen) anyway just wanna say 1. I love your blog and 2. Wish I had a nice soft puppy to cuddle with rn 👉👈 or even better a big puppy cuddle pile where we’re all high and eepy and comfy cozy
