Okay, I loved the concept for this one! It’s just this side of absolutely ridiculous and I loved it. Gin is one of my favorite characters and this book just made me love her and the gang even more. This was pretty straight forward plot wise. And I kinda liked that it wasn’t beating around the bush with clues hidden everywhere. It’s just building up to the big blowout that will happen sometime in the next couple of books. Overall, this wasn’t shabby. It was fun and a little bit absurd for this blood drenched series. Deadly Sting  by Jennifer Estep My rating: 4 of 5 stars Gin Blanco, Pork Pit owner and assassin, always seems to find trouble. This time it comes in the most unusual fashion. Gin is talked into attending a charity function with her foster brother and most of her friends...all of Ashland’s rich, famous and infamous have come out to see Mab’s art collection. The gallery opening isn’t really any trouble but the group of giants taking the attendees hostage and robbing them and the museum...now that’s definitely trouble. Accidently killing an innocent, that is down right abhorrent pushing Gin into action. I love this series and have to say that I was a little hesitant after the Widow’s Web. Needless to say, I want Gin to find real happiness. I’m totally trusting Jennifer Estep to pull us through this love crises but I have to say I was a little disappointed with one specific hero. Gin was fabulous as always, I really am loving her character growth and constant inner strength. Watching Gin do what she does best, out think the bad guys against insurmountable odds, always makes for a brilliant read. Deadly Sting did not disappoint. Fast paced, action packed, thrilling adventure with fabulously witty characters and a totally original storyline, Deadly Sting kept me riveted to the pages! This ARC copy of Deadly Sting was given to me by Pocket Books in exchange for an honest review. Publish Date March 26, 2013.

I read book five in August and STILL have yet to continue this series. 😕 4. 😈🖤 LUST (a book boxed set) - I have four! The #HisDarkMaterialsTrilogy by #PhilipPullman, the #ShadowAndBoneTrilogy and the #SixOfCrowsDuology by @lbardugo, and the #DaughterOfSmokeAndBoneTrilogy by @lainit! 😄 5. 😈😡 WRATH (a disappointing book) - A Madness of Angels by Kate Griffin (Although I really think I just read this at the wrong time.) 😕 6. 😈😑 ENVY (a book you'd like to live in) - Absolutely, Positively by #JayneAnnKrentz! Then *I* could live on Capitol Hill in Seattle with MY husband, Harry Stratton Trevelyan! 😉 7. 😈😍 Pride (prettiest book on your shelf) - I don't know! Maybe the St. Helen's trilogy by Jayne Castle? Because the books are titled Amaryllis, Zinnia, and Orchid and have an amaryllis, a zinnia, and an orchid on their covers? 😍❤ . Here are almost all of the books I have in my November #TBRpile! On the left, we have all but one of the books I hope to read in the first half of November. And on the right are all but one of the books I hope to read in the second half of November. The stack on the right is also known as my #TomeTopple Round 5 #TBR! 😄😃😍❤ . . . Missing from the left stack is Firestorm by Rachel Caine, book five in the Weather Warden series, which I have checked out as an e-book on my phone. Missing from the stack on the right is Courtney Crumrin and the Night Things by Ted Naifeh, which is an Interlibrary Loan book ready for pickup at the library (tomorrow! 😄). . . . And I believe this is it for those books I am hoping to read in November. Ambitious? You betcha. Will I be successful? It's anyone's guess at this point, but I hope so! 🤔😥...😄😃😉😍❤ . . . I am now going to read more in The Book of Swords, edited by Gardner Dozois. I hope to finish this book tomorrow, if not later today. #30DaysOfReadathon #Readathon Today's #Day11 challenge task is to share something #exciting. Unfortunately, Max is sleepy, so he was feeling a distinct lack of excitement. But oh well! He's still cute. 😃😉❤ . . . The books in this picture are all three books that I find *very* exciting. Two are books I own, and one is a library book (but from a series that I will hopefully soon be able to add to my collection). 😀 . . . First, on the left, I have book nine in the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews. Magic Binds is a book that left me feeling destroyed. There was so much going on in this story, and it was all so well done. I laughed, I cried. I loved it! ❤ . . . Next, in the middle, I have book five in the Elemental Assassin series by Jennifer Estep. To tell you why I found Spider's Revenge so exciting would be a major spoiler, but I can say that Mab Monroe is the Big Bad in it. (The jacket description says THAT!) 😀❤ . . . And lastly, on the right is a library edition of the fourth book in the Weather Warden series by Rachel Caine. Windfall took off fun and ended with a war brewing.
