Wenclair End of the F***ing World au
Just think about it
Enid wants to avoid conversion therapy and Wednesday wants to escape boarding school, and possibly see if she is truly capable of 1st degree murder.
My vers & few spoilers v-v
Wednesday is the new girl, already asking around for ways to sneak out, the perfect candidate for Enid's partner in crime. When Enid asks, Wednesday already has a plan and isn't willing to slowdown for anyone but that plan ends the same it does in cannon. After escaping therapy, the principal finds Wednesday at the coffee shop but all it does is delay everything.
Enid heard about Wednesday's attempt and says she can help next time. Wednesday reluctantly agreed, on the condition that Enid would stay quiet until the festival. Enid did not stay quiet, but at least she didn't tell anyone about their plan.
At the festival Enid distracts the principal while Wednesday and Tyler slip from sight. Enid stops Wednesday from following glasses kid and they catch a ride from Tyler, except Enid notices little things. Tyler keeps clenching the wheel, checking his phone, and glancing at Wednesday. Enid tries to ignore the signs, dismissing them as just nervous ticks, but she also notices them take a wrong turn and speaks up. Tyler says its a shortcut and Wednesday turns back to look at Enid who just shakes her head. The next thing you know Wednesday opens the car door and bails. Tyler and Enid were both in shock and Tyler drove a little further before stomping on the breaks. Enid muttered a thanks before jumping out and running to Wednesday.
Wednesday stopped herself from asking what took her so long, instead asking which way. Enid was still processing the whole 'jumping from a moving vehicle thing', so she silently stepped in the direction of the station. As they got close, Enid asked Wednesday if she had money and Wednesday froze because her original plan involved offering to pay Tyler back through the mail.
Their problem was solved as soon as it was discovered because there he was, yelling that he can't let Wednesday leave. He lunged at Wednesday only to be pinned to a tree/light post by Enid, her claws digging into his throat. Wednesday went through his pockets pulling out his wallet and his phone fell out, open to a message saying 'Don't reveal yourself'. She took out the cash and nodded to Enid who threw him to the side. They said some form of 'get lost' and ran the last few yards to the station. Wednesday bought the only tickets leaving that night and they sat on a bench to wait.
The train came, they got on along with a few strangers, not noticing Tyler get on the next compartment over.
