My friend is watching One piece for the first time and I couldn't show her my fanart when she asked in case of spoilers so I drew some fanart of the skypiea art for her and my God they were so... Babies

She is abusive and a lot of fans don’t care just because he “deserved” it or thought it was funny. No one deserves to be physically assaulted. He always put his life on the line to protect her. He had to deal with her crazy and jealous antics every time Kikyo appeared even though they were not a couple. He didn’t owe her anything. Yes, he got jealous every time Kouga came around but for the most part his anger was directed at Kouga and not at Kagome. Besides, he didn’t use Kikyo or any other girl to make her jealous while Kagome used to lead both Kouga and Hojo in. Inuyasha had real and tangible feelings towards Kikyo. It was not like he was being petty like Kagome was.

elias gives his statement with jon's mouth. what do you want from me. the season finale, and it's about magnus and his archive. it's the ultimate culmination. two characters cannibalizing each other, becoming one to please their mutual god. it's joy and beauty and horror and repulsion and disgust and reverence that is so terrifying nothing about it can ever be admitted to. but jon is admitting it, the only way he ever could: by having someone else admit it for him.

frankly my thoughts about this episode need to stay on discord. this episode is intimate and it can only be discussed intimately. um.

A Warm Embrace

prompt: you woke me up screaming from a nightmare, and I’m tired, so let’s cuddle so the nightmares don’t come anymore.

He jolts awake with a gasp. In an instant he knows where he is and where he isn't and that knowledge alone should make him feel better. It doesn't. His heart still races wildly in his chest as his eyes dart around the dark bedroom, gaze lingering a bit longer than necessary on the darker corners as though waiting for something to move. Something to spring out of the shadows to finish what they started. He touches his throat and expects to feel blood. There's nothing.

Just a dream, he reminds himself. A terrible dream that his subconscious put together out of stress and equally terrible memories. There is nothing waiting to catch him here, nothing with sharp claws and teeth and cruel eyes.

Still, he can't stay here. He's awake now. Might as well make the most of it and-

"Jon?" Martin says beside him in the dark. "You alright?"

"I... yes I'm fine." Liar. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."

"It's fine." Martin sighs, tired. "Thought you were calling me."

Did he? Jon can't remember. "No, I don't think so... Go back to sleep, Martin. Sorry for waking you."

The sheets rustle and before he registers what's happening, Martin pulls him against him, Jon's face pressed against his chest. He tenses, frozen stock still for a moment as he feels Martin's arms around him. He feels Martin's warmth and feels him breath, hears each inhale and exhale. Hears the steady beating of his heart. The tension slowly fades from him as he relaxes into the embrace. He feels a kiss pressed against his head.

"Goodnight, Jon." Martin says quietly.

It doesn't take long for Martin's breathing to even out again and he knows the man has fallen back to sleep. Jon knows that sleep will not return to him as quickly but that's fine. The nightmares won't return.
