You know, Jared really could have done some good with the powers he had. I know that's not really how the fears are supposed to work but the world is full of people who need and want something change about their bodies. In a different kinda story Jared could have been a decent guy...

Interesting, so the Flesh also counts towards things like self loathing of the body? I imagine body dysphoria could feed into something like this and that's very sad to think about.

You know, the Flesh was one of those fears that I didn't think would really effect me all that much but... yeah, okay, I get it now. It's not the first fear that would get me but it's not low on the list either.

Oh hon, no. Killing these people doesn't change anything, that was actually pretty obvious for a minute now. The terrors don't stop just because you killed one of their workers. I'm pretty sure this is strictly for Jon's own satisfaction at this point.

Sasuke briefly showed up in 171, though didn't speak. I can only imagine him just huffing and saying to Orochimaru: "Let's go, the putrid stench is not worth any more of my time."

Sasuke cameo in Part I fillers!

Episode 170 of the original Naruto anime: Sasuke shows up and even I could see how much he didn't want to be there with Orochimaru and the smug Amachi. Glad he showed up for the first time beyond flashbacks.

And it's got me thinking (headcanon ahead), how disgusted Sasuke was being there. He didn't care for Orochimaru's experiments and yet here he was, being shown off to one of the creep's pawns. Is it any wonder after three years he had enough and killed Orochimaru.

He may claim he doesn't give a damn, but face it, he did. I might write a fanfic about how I think after putting up with Orochimaru for a day and his experiments, he went back to his chamber, threw up a few times, spared with a Shadow Clone of himself, meditated on why he gives a crap and perhaps wonders if Naruto and Sakura are okay then sleep to do it again the next day.

Lord of the Red

Is this a monster card or a way to upgrade the trap card armor you're already wearing? Well, I guess it's both, depending. The way the anime uses this card is so silly, in truth, but it does make for some cool scenes in an already ridiculous duel scenario. If only the armor itself was a little bit cooler than being almost a direct copy paste of Red Eyes onto a human form. That's not inherently bad, but they did make the helmet look so silly trying to do it. They could've done more of a visor look with the upper part to simulate a dragon's upper jaw (a la the dragoons from Final Fantasy), but instead they opted for a flatter look that makes the addition of the eyes look ridiculous. And uh... Don't get me started on the nearly fully armored look, except for the hands for some reason. You could've gone with cool claws, man... It was literally right there.
