Feel like the scene moves on a little too fast and loses the implication Kiku did it, but we get a lead in with more of her being a cutie patootie so it evens out. Still, I adore this transition. Great example of how the anime can make you focus on some of these oddities Wano leaves to the imagination as a style choice.

Could you do some hurt/comfort with Charlie and Vaggie (specifically poly chaggie x reader, but if you don't do that, separate is fine), where the reader is in the fight at the hotel and saves Charlie from Adam (in place of Lucifer), but is seriously injured in the process and sort of lost in the chaos. Then, once the angels retreat and things are calmer, Charlie and Vaggie find reader beaten and bloody, practically on death's door, but hanging on as the two try their best to stabilize the reader

But the reader survives at the end because there needs to be a happy ending to it :(

A/n: I had rewatched the final episode for 4 times and I will go and cry about it. But I hope you will like it, here is 916 words(if you are interested in it).

Your spear struck Adam's face with a slashing motion, throwing it away from Charlie. You may not have been perfect with polearms, but the time you spent with the Vaggie definitely made sense, usually without incredible strength, you could easily throw an almost 2-meter man away from your girlfriend. The adrenaline in your blood does its job, completely numbing the pain of the wounds sustained in the battle with the exorcists and allowing you to focus your attention on Charlie's defense. Adam was thrown to the side of the impact, and you turned to Charlie, checking how she was.

"How are you, Charlie? I definitely should have hurried." You turned to her, giving her a hand so she could get up.

"Thank you!" said Charlie as she walked up to you, hugging you tightly, and you gave her a gentle pat on the back to make her loosen her grip.

Somewhere in the background, Adam rises and begins to curse both you and Charlie, and you turn to him, walking slowly towards him, leaving one of your girls behind.

"How dare you, wretched accomplice of heaven, touch our ray of sunshine Charlie?!" -- your spear changes its position with lightning speed, the thin shiny blade of angel steel is very close to his body, yes you are not in the best shape, yes you see that Vaggie also needs help, but compared to Charlie, at least she is an experienced fighter and knows about the tactics of angels, so you're probably better off staying close to Charlie.

"Who are you? How many of you are gathered here? Moreover, why do you care so much about her? Okay, devils, you're going to be a piece of cake, haha!" -- Adam stood up, shaking off his clothes and spreading his wings, ready to take off, while you, seeing this, decide that you need to attack before the moment of takeoff, because there he will have an incredible advantage.

You attacked quickly, but despite this, Adama deflected almost all the blows, your imperfect technique, although easy to guess, a few cuts appeared on his mask and clothes. Suddenly, you heard Charlie trying to shout something at you, and you let Adam take off. Charlie called you in case of Lute that tried to attack you from behind to distract you from Adam, but Charlie and Vaggie teamed up and protected you.

"Thank you, darlings," you quickly thanked them and turned your attention back to Adam.

At least you tried, as Adam had already unleashed his magic on you, literally cutting the entire hotel building in half. And if Charlie has Vaggie to catch and hold her, there was no one for you in particular. That is why it was you who fell into the crack between the buildings.

You were lucky, the beams fell above you, which very successfully saved you from other debris, the adrenaline in your blood stopped working, the pain from the injuries came flooding over you and seemed several times stronger than it really was, there was no strength left to move or at least some signal, so all you could do was lie down and hope. Charlie and Vaggie will definitely find you, it can't be otherwise. Occupied with such thoughts, your brain gradually shuts down.

The next thing you feel is a cool, slightly rough hand, you instantly recognize it as a Vaggie's hand that was touching your neck in search of a pulse. Your eyes open a little and are dazzlingly bright compared to the dark silence your brain was in during the faint, contrasting so strongly that it hurts your eyes. You squint, turning away, trying to shield yourself from the light and the sounds around you.

"Honey, she's awake," says Vaggie beside you, and Charlie's shadow instantly blocks out the light, bringing relaxation to your buzzing head. So you try to open your eyes and look around without still fully regaining consciousness. Charlie hugs you, touching several open wounds, which makes you groan in pain. You want to ask about the situation, about the situation with the angels, but as soon as your lips open, all your senses come back to you, you begin to feel dust and dryness in your mouth, the surface of the ground beneath you, destroyed and not at all pleasant, dried up your blood, mixed with angelic blood and other things that fell on you during the fight and, To be honest, you start to want to feel nothing again.

"Shut up," Charlie and the Vaggie tell you at the same time. They also lift you up and transport you to a more comfortable surface at the same time. It is quite pleasant and the lack of constant tension in your body allows you to faint once again.

The next time you wake up, your body is tightly wrapped in bandages and the sensation of pervasive dust that caused incredible sensory disgust is gone. You're in the shade, lying on something soft. There is no sensation of pain either, it looks like you have been fainting for a relatively long time.

"Veggie, Veggie, come here!" -- Charlie is nowhere to be seen, but you can recognize her voice everywhere. You can also hear Vaggie's voice, but you can't make out what she said, she probably answered Charlie.

They hug you, you're sure Charlie is crying because something wet has touched your cheek. You, too, are glad that at least these two dearest people are alive.

“Excuse me…”

Blue eyes glance up meet his photoreceptors, and with her attention now on him, the droid continues.

“I don’t believe we’ve met quite yet.” He extends a hand to the woman, seated on a bench, sketchpad in hand.

“I am C-3PO, human-cyborg relations.”

The woman stares at him for a moment, expression unreadable, before she holds out a hand, using the other to steady the sketchbook now resting in her lap.

“…Kaiyo.”

The name seems familiar, though he’s not sure why. Perhaps it was just one of the many names of the resistance members his new friend R2-D2 had told him about.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Miss Kaiyo,” he says, hand still in hers. He stiffens as he notices the ring on her finger before her other hand returns to rest in her lap. He debates asking about who holds the other ring, but quickly decides against it. Instead, he gestures to the sketchpad.

“May I ask what it is you’re working on? Are you an artist?”

Her lips quirk up in a smile that fails to reach her eyes.

“You could say that…”

She hesitates a moment before motioning for the droid to sit down, shifting her body to give him a better view of her sketchpad.

“Ah, is that…a starspeeder?”

“Mhm,” she affirms, turning the page to reveal more mock up sketches. “Ever since the fall of the First Order, I’ve had some more time on my hands.”

“This is quite an exquisite design, I must say,” Threepio compliments, “I am by no means an expert on starspeeders, but this one looks unlike any I’ve ever seen.”

He notices the human flush, what he has come to understand as a response to deep embarrassment…or flattery.

“Thank you. Well, you’re right, it doesn’t exist…yet. I’m working with a friend of mine who’s more adept at this kinda thing. They’re going to handle most of the actual inner workings. But…” she sighs, smiling, “I love creating new designs.”

The woman continues to eagerly show him more sketches, some of starspeeders like the first one, and others random drawings of wildlife, plants, and creatures. She seemed closed off at first, but she prattles on with an infectious enthusiasm that the droid can’t help but be drawn to. He feels as though he’s known her for longer than five minutes, combined with distant glimpses of her around the base. However, he was only activated a few weeks ago; such a thing, though strange, simply isn’t possible.

Kaiyo has flipped to another page, though she abruptly stops her excited rambles, eyes suddenly hardened at the sight of what’s on the next page. He looks down to see what the fuss is about and…oh.

“Is that…a self portrait?”

He is mainly able to tell because of the ponytail, though the anguished looking woman on page has a striking resemblance to the one sitting next to him, stiff as a board. Her eyes dart from the page to him, hand poised above the page like she wants to rip it off, crumple it up, or burn it. Maybe all of those things. Instead, she sighs.

“I didn’t mean to show you that. I…drew it as a form of self expression.”

He’s almost afraid to ask. After all, prying into one’s personal affairs is improper. However, he doesn’t need to pry when the words come pouring out of her like a leaky faucet.

“I drew it shortly after the battle on Exegol. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of us were happy to finally see the actual end of Palpatine, but…” she traces the portrait’s face almost as if she’s trying to comfort the sketched version of her.

“No war is won without costs. And he was a hefty one.”

“He?”

Her eyes widen, shaking her head as she realizes her slip up.

“Um…no one, I shouldn’t have said that…uh—“

“It’s perfectly alright if you don’t want to talk about it, Miss Kaiyo.”

“I haven’t for a while—or at least, it seems like it, but…” she fiddles with her ring, pointedly avoiding his attentive gaze.

“My husband…made a sacrifice. It saved the galaxy, and it was by no means the wrong choice. I’m…glad he did it.”

The shininess of her cheeks say otherwise.

“I’m sure that was difficult to learn of…but I’m sure it was a choice he made not just because of the galaxy, but because you’re a part of it, too.” He pauses. “I’m terribly sorry for your loss.”

She says nothing in return, even when he instinctively reaches up to swipe away a tear. His hand is metal, so it doesn’t help much, but it’s the gesture that counts, or so he thinks. Kaiyo seems to agree, reaching up to grasp his hand, still holding her cheek. She seems to lean into his touch, and it feels familiar, it feels natural, it feels—

“Threepio!”

Kaiyo yanks herself away at the sound of footsteps, quickly rubbing her eyes with her sleeve. The young recruit bows in apology for interrupting, explaining that the droid’s presence was requested by General Organa herself. The droid follows, bidding her goodbye, and Kaiyo watches. Her eyes flit down to the sketchpad, and in a fit of frustration she shuts it, tossing it next to her on the bench.

Dammit, Kaiyo. You’re supposed to be moving on from this. But how can you move on from someone who is only partially gone? The same person, just without everything that made him yours?

Note: I made this with the thought of “what if Threepio didn’t get his memory restored?” Because I think about that a lot and I enjoy the angst.

Tom’s frown softened into a pout. “Love, come ‘ere,” he requested, shifting on the couch so there was more room for y/n. He smiled as she sat beside him. He kissed her cheek before turning to Son Heung-Min.. “This is my girlfriend , y/n,” Tom said proudly.

Y/n closed her eyes peacefully as she rested her head on Tom’s shoulder as they sat in the van on the way to the next press event. She felt his lips press tenderly against the top of her head. She hummed as he quietly asked if she was doing okay. She smiled as his arm around her waist tightened lovingly.

Tom took advantage of y/n’s restful state. He slyly nudged Harry and looked over at y/n. When his brother nodded and took his phone out to take a picture for him, Tom smiled and mouthed thank you. Harry grinned But teasingly shook his head. Tom knew he was probably being a bit much, but he just so proud that she’s with him.

Tom watched from the side as y/n chatted with some of the crew backstage at his latest press event. He’d made sure to introduce her to as many people as he could. He couldn’t help but want to show her off. But he also hoped that pointing out her hard work and skill at y/f/h would help her lock down a job she enjoyed here in London. Because he can’t imagine her having to go back to the us. Mostly as she doesn’t want to, she mentioned this herself several times after arriving and getting comfortable with some of the cultural differences. So for her sake he didn’t want for her to have to leave. But truthfully he also didn’t want her to leave simply because he selfishly wanted her to stay for his own sake as well. Lucky for him, it seemed like y/n had picked up on networking early on in the press tour. Tom smiled to himself knowing it should help her land a job she’d enjoy that would also let her stay here.

Authors note: Hi I'm writing this as another ✨ self-indulgent fic ✨ however I hope this can also provide solace for anyone else who is at a weird crossroads in their life. This is all over the place, I just needed to put this out. If not for me then for someone else. I see you and I feel you. You aren't alone ❤️ I choose Kazuha specifically bc of that fucking line he has when it rains. It always strikes a chord in me. Anyway, I hope you enjoy or find some peace here.

Kaedehara Kazuha has always been someone you turned to in times of crisis. When the Vision Hunt Degree was issued and he went with Captain Beidou to Liuye to collect the travelers help, you felt at odds with yourself. He has a knack for knowing just what to say when you need it most.

After the Traveler helped abolish the Vision Hunt Degree. You stood at a crossroads in your life. You had returned from Mondstat after having the opportunity to study under The acting Grand Master Jean. As a budding tactician, she was an excellent mentor. Kazuha was the one who encouraged you to go, stating 'you'd be foolish not to', so you did. You learned so much there, made so many new friends, and got to experience many different things.

After a few months you came back to Inazuma. You felt like a new person! You even secured a position under one of the best tacticians in Inazuma, Sangonomiya Kokomi. Things were great... At least for a few months. Until you fell back into a routine, where day in and day out felt the same. Again you were at that crossroad.

You felt almost depressed, as if all the struggle and growth you made abroad meant nothing now. You felt the same as you did before you left. You find your days filled with work and sleep, repeat. The few enjoyments you got were getting letters from friends in Mondstat, and seeing your friends back home.

After a particularly long day you found yourself at Ritou Harbor, a bottle in your hand as you stared out at the endless ocean on the horizon. "You seem to be troubled about something." Kazuha's gentle voice observes behind you. You crane your neck to look at him. As he walks over and seats himself next to you at the edge of the harbor.

"Hey Kazuha... When did you get back?" You ask not wanting to discuss the issue at hand. "Only a few hours ago. Captain Beidou is docking here for a few days." You hum in acknowledgement. "I thought I'd find you elsewhere, but Lady Ayaka informed me who was told by Miss Kokomi you'd be in the area for a couple days on personal business." You nod again." This doesn't seem like business." He gestures to the bottle in your hand. "It's personal though." You laugh bitterly, placing the bottle down.

You place your head in your hands. "Kazuha, I don't know what to do." He smiles almost knowingly. "What seems to be the issue my friend?" You sigh. "I'm unhappy. All the stars that once aligned for me seem out of place now. I know I set this plath for myself and even though I've made progress I feel like I'm still stuck at the starting line..." You heave back a sob you can feel coming on. "I wish I was back in Mondstat. I wish I was anywhere but here you know?" He chuckles. " All too well, it's suffocating isn't it? Being in one place for too long." He muses. "However, as you said so yourself you made a path for yourself. Miss Kokomi seems to be very pleased with the work you're doing as well." You shrug. You gaze back out at the ocean and Kazuha joins you." Is that truly what you want? " You snap your head to look at him in confusion. " As simple as it sounds, being a wanderer means you have nothing. You travel from place to place, sometimes in the worst condition. Unsure if you'll even have a place to sleep safely or have food to eat. I'm at the will of Captain Beidou's schedule because I myself cannot operate a boat or run a crew myself." Kazuha smiles out at the ocean sadly. "Sure the traveling is nice but even I sometimes find myself stuck in a loop."

You're quiet for a long time before finally asking Kazuha the question you find yourself always asking him. " What should I do? '' Tears spilled from the corners of your eyes. " Continue on your path. Though the road ahead is unclear, and may be tumultuous and foggy at times, eventually you'll find yourself exactly where you're supposed to be. " "And if I don't?" "You find a new path." You laugh through the tears. " You're a strong person. Stronger than you give yourself credit for. The people around you see it but you don't, at least not yet. " He closes his eyes peacefully. " I have a hunch eventually you will. "

A few more tears spill from your eyes as you gaze back at the ocean. The sun was setting and the view was gorgeous, the ocean looked as if it was a sparkling gemstone surrounded by the vast orange sky. "I don't know how you do that." You finally say. Kazuha cocks his head to the side." Do what? " He inquired. " Know how to fix me. " You sigh before tossing him a grin. "What are friends for if not to lift each other up!" He grins back. "I promise Kazuha, one day I'll pay you back for all the wisdom and advice you give me." He simply smiles and stands offering you a hand. "No need. Just keep being you, that's all I ask."

With Wano now complete in the anime, which are your ten favorite episodes?

902 - The core of the Bakura Town Kiku/Urashima story was done very well. I like how it has the first little bit of chapter 916 in so you really nail the angle she's screwing with him.

922 - Zoro dicking around with Yasu more is excellent.

948 - Special bonus for lining up with Chapter 948, but also for being a great single episode of the capture of Udon.

961 - Just cause I like Oden meeting the gang.

982 - Ishitani made it pop

994 - Need I say more? Love the stuff with Kiku/Kanjuro

We often suppose that wars are fought over things like resources, border disputes, and ideologies. My guest calls this “the spreadsheet approach to war” and argues that, in reality, such factors only come in as justifications for the much deeper drives at play. Mike Martin is a Senior Visiting Fellow in the Department of War Studies, King’s College London and the author of Why We Fight. Today on the show, he draws on his background in biology and experience serving in the British army to offer an explanation as to why individuals and nation-states go to war. Mike argues that there are two fundamental impulses behind the drive to war: the drive for status and the drive for belonging. We discuss these motivations and how leaders and ideologies corral and amplify them. We end our conversation with how this view of war could prevent conflicts and allow them to be fought more successfully, and also be a lens for how to help men flourish in a healthy way. One Piece : Kaido and Alcohol

I'm currently on episode 916 of one piece, and after seeing Kaido's condition, I wondered how much it took for him to get so drunk

there are five liters of blood in a person's body (in order to get him drunk, it will take about five bottles of beer - 2 kg of alcohol)

kaido is two and a half times bigger than the average person (he is seven meters and ten centimeters), thus, he has two and a half times more bloodis it 11 or 12 liters

I repeat: for five liters - 2 kg

for twelve - about 5 or 6 kg of alcohol

thus, to get kaido drunk, you will need about 6 liters of beer

(I did not count the weight of a person, therefore, the calculations are not accurate)

since sake is about three and a half or four times stronger than beer, the number of liters will be different

it will be about two liters of sake for kaido
