“could you tell me a lie and make it sound convincing?” her eyes were directed to their shoes, the butterflies erupts inside her stomach and not in a good way. this was the only way she’d be able to hear the words she’s so desperately wanted him to mean. so desperately wanted him to feel the way she did.

but they both knew that wasn’t so. of course they did. if he meant it she wouldn’t be standing on the edge of the roof, trying to find peace. the pain coursed through her veins, her lungs constricted— decorated with an array of flowers. he stood opposite her, saddened to see her this way.

“please just come down and we can talk about this, Etsuko.”

“would you please just tell me a lie, Kaminari? i want to hear it one last time.”

his fist clutched at his sides as he stared down at the ground. the rain pattering around the two. this was it. he would be the cause of this. he didn’t want to. he couldn’t be the one to push her over the edge. “i can’t. please. just let me take you home, Koko.”

“home,” she scuffs. “yeah, the place you defiled? no thanks.” a smile slowly graces her face. “c’mon Denks. i know you can say it. you’ve been lying to me this whole time. what’s one more?”

he rubs his eyes harshly as he finally makes eye contact with the brunette. “i love you. i always will.”

her smile grew, sincerely. her hand grabs at her chest as she smiles at the blond. “i loved you too. and i’ll probably love you in the afterlife too.” he blinks back tears as she stretches her hand out to him. he grabs it and pulls her to his chest. the two stand like that or a while longer before she pulls away.

“but alas, my love. all good things must come to an end.”

his eyes widen as he watches her climb up again, this time tears running down her face. her smile never fading. in the background she could hear her friends banging on the doors to the hospital’s rooftop. pleas of her to open the door and to come back.

“i couldn’t let them take our memories so this way i’ll have them forever.”

denki stares at her. sorrow filling his eyes. “im so sorry, Etsuko.”

she tilts her head with a soft smile. “of course you are. i’m sorry i fell in love with you too.”

the doors finally open, several hospital staff and her three best friends come rushing through. mina’s the first to rush over, crying. “please don’t leave me, Etsuko!”

“goodbye. i’m sorry,”

the wind blows as she floats through the sky, arms out stretched as if she was flying. she could see everyone on the roof sobbing, screaming and broken. her smile fades as she realizes too late of the mistake she made.

she just left behind her family. over a man. but it was a man she’d happily give her life for.

the damage has been done. there’s no reversing it now as the world fills with darkness. the last thing she hears are Denki’s words,

“i love you. i always will.”

a/n: hello it’s me again here with some Kaminari fluff for you. I don’t know why this image just popped into my head of Kami with a little girl who is the spitting image of him, but here we are. Pls enjoy.

summary: Kaminari is a single dad to a daughter that’s the spitting image of him, but after a while he starts to doubt his parenting skills.

You were enjoying a beautiful afternoon at the local farmer’s market when you suddenly felt something wrap around your leg and begin to buzz. You flinched and dropped the farm-fresh apple you were holding, afraid that there was some kind of villain attack taking place, but you realized in a split second that there was nothing to be scared of. There was just a little girl, blonde and about four years old, hugging your leg, giving you a slight static shock sensation, and squealing, “Mina!” As Mina was not your name, she obviously had you confused with someone else. She couldn’t be here alone, but you couldn’t tell who she belonged to. You gently set your hand on top of her head as she hugged you tightly, not wanting her to run away before you found a parent or guardian.

It didn’t take long before you spotted a young man with the exact same shockingly blonde hair looking around frantically. “Hey?” you shouted and waved him over. When he saw the little girl attached to you, his face washed over with relief. He rushed over.

“Etsuko!” he called out, and she looked up for the first time since she found you.

“Daddy!” she squeaked, echoing his inflection. She raced from your side to his, but when she looked back at you, her face fell, confused.

The man lifted his daughter up, tucking her against his hip. “Why did you run away like that? We have to stay together, remember?” He didn’t scold her, he simply asked, worrystricken. She was the spitting image of him, from her wide golden eyes to the black zigzag streak in her hair. They were two peas in a pod, and you had to admit, it was adorable.

“I saw Mina…” she explained, still confused.

You took a step closer. “Sorry sweetie, I think you confused me for someone else.”

Her dad smiled at you. “Oh, I think I see it. Our friend Mina wears a jacket a lot like yours.”

You smiled and shrugged. “Well, no harm done.” While the dad smiled back at you, Etsuko looked so disappointed, you were almost sorry you weren’t Mina. Thinking quickly, you reached into your market bag and pulled a flower out of a bouquet you’d bought at a flower stand and held it out to Etsuko. She giggled and accepted the gift, then clung to her dad’s neck.

“What do you say?” her father prompted.

“Thank you,” Etsuko recited coyly.

He adjusted the girl on his hip so he could reach out to shake your hand. “Thanks for holding onto her until I found her. I’m Denki, by the way.”

You shook his hand. “Y/n, nice to meet you.” He gave you a million dollar smile and shook your hand for a few seconds too long. He glanced around a little before clearing his throat.

“Well, I’d love to repay you for all the trouble. Could I take you out for coffee or something sometime?” he asked.

You blushed. Of course, you thought he was cute, and so was his daughter, but you hadn’t been expecting him to ask you out. Admittedly, you assumed his wife or girlfriend would have been close behind, but apparently, that wasn’t the case. But he was attractive, and his relationship with the little girl was too charming to resist. “Sure,” you answered, pulling out your phone to get his number.

From that day forward, you and Denki were practically inseparable.

You went on three near-perfect dates (it was so funny when he accidentally spilled an entire tub of popcorn at the movie theater that it was basically perfect anyway) before he invited you to dinner at his home and you saw Etsuko again. She was lovely and well-behaved and undeniably funny for someone so young. Every time Denki looked away from the table, she snuck one of her carrots onto his plate and giggled when he looked at it, confused. She was a delight.

You fell in love with Denki quickly, and you adored spending time with Etsuko. You loved sitting on the floor with her and putting the spiky blonde tendrils that fell down her back into intricate braids while the three of you watched a movie. You loved how she told you that you looked like a princess in your evening gown the night you returned from a hero’s gala with Denki. And you loved cuddling with both of them on the couch, falling asleep in a big pile after reading or playing a board game together.

For three months, you existed in a state of bliss, but you were always curious about Etsuko’s mother. You tried to bring the subject up casually, but Denki was equally as crafty about avoiding it with non committal answers. He gave you no reason to distrust him, but you had to assume there was a reason why he didn’t want to talk about it. Etsuko lived with him full time, so there was no shared custody arrangement. You didn’t see any pictures of unfamiliar women in the house. You hoped there wasn’t some sort of bad situation, but at some point, you knew you’d find out the truth.

The moment came while you and Denki were drinking coffee in his kitchen one morning, the sunlight trickling in the windows. His hair was ruffled from a good night’s sleep, and you wore his fluffy white bathrobe. As he poured himself a second cup, Etsuko wandered out of her bedroom rubbing her eyes.

“Hey sleepyhead,” Denki greeted her. “Are you hungry?”

“Poptart please,” Etsuko requested. Normally, Denki tried to make her healthier meals than that, but it was a lazy Sunday, so he handed her a sugary pastry from the cupboard. Etsuko sat down at the table and you opened the foil package for her.

“Did you sleep here last night?” Etsuko asked. She implied nothing, of course, she just had a curious mind. Knowing her, she probably thought you slept on the couch.

You exchanged a coy smile with Denki. It was not the first time you slept over, but it was still a relatively new development. “Yep.”

When she finished her breakfast, Etsuko turned to Denki suddenly and asked, “Daddy, what does ‘precocious’ mean?”

Denki gulped his coffee hard. “What sweetie?”

“Precocious,” she repeated, carefully laying out all the syllables. “It was in that song from the movie we watched last night.” You had bought over your DVD of Mary Poppins for the three of you to watch the night before, and Etsuko had been positively tickled by the song Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. It’s a wonder she wasn’t asking about that mouthful.

“Uh, well,” Denki said, fiddling with the handle of his coffee mug. “Well, it means… um, like…” he bit his lip and looked to you.

You leaned forward at the table. “It means smart and curious. Kind of like you!” you said, booping Etsuko on the nose with your finger.

She giggled, replying, “Oh, ok. Can I go play with my toys?”

“Sure baby,” Denki said, and Etsuko scuttled back into her bedroom. Once she was out of sight, Denki folded his hands together in front of him, his head dropping down onto the table.

“What is it?” you asked, reaching out to touch his fluffy hair.

“I feel so dumb. I didn’t know what that word meant, exactly. Like, I get the gist, but I couldn’t explain it to her.”

“It’s ok,” you said, trying to soothe him. When he banged his fists on the table, it made you jump a little.

“It’s not,” he said, voice strained. He looked up, and his eyes were red and watering, on the verge of tears. It was heartbreaking to see. Then he said what you’d been wanting to hear for weeks, but now, you were scared of what you might learn. “I know I’ve been avoiding telling you about Etsuko’s mom.”

You hesitated before answering. “Well, I understand if you don’t want to talk about it.”

Denki sighed shakily. “No, you should know. Her mother was a good friend of mine, even though she went to a different high school. I don’t know why she hung out with me. She was brilliant, and she had a mind reading quirk, but she had to store up energy to use it, so she barely read my mind, not that there’s anything interesting up there anyway.”

“Denki...”

“It’s true. So anyway, we were never even dating, but one night, one thing led to another, and she got pregnant. We were so young, only 19, but she wanted to be a mom, and I was happy to agree to co-parent with her. And I love Etsuko more than anything, and I wouldn’t trade her for the world. But not long after Etsuko’s first birthday, her mom got really sick, and she passed away.”

You squeezed your boyfriend’s hand. “I’m so sorry.”

Denki sighed heavily. “That’s just life sometimes, I guess. I miss her, but I’m doing my best with Etsuko now. She doesn’t remember her mom, and I know I’ll have to explain it one day, but I’m not too worried about that. She’s always been surrounded by people who love her. My family and friends helped me out with her so much when I first became a single dad, and I’m thankful. I didn’t have to quit the hero agency because of them.” He bit his lip again, tears welling up.

“But the thing is, Etsuko is exactly like me. She has nothing of her mother in her. Not her looks, not her quirk, and not her personality. She’s me, 100%, and I hate that I gave her all that.”

“Denki, she loves you. We… we both do.” You hadn’t broken out the L-word yet, but it was true.

He squeezed your hand, and stray tears spilled over. This was so different from his usual snarky disposition, and it broke your heart. “What if once she goes to school, I can’t help her with her homework? What if the other kids make fun of her because she’s not smart enough because of me? What if they make fun of her because I’m just a sidekick?”

You took him by the shoulders. You’d heard enough. In hushed tones, since Etsuko was only a wall away, you spoke as you looked your boyfriend in the eyes. “Hey. You don’t want to worry about any of that, ok? Because you know what’s really important? That Etsuko loves you exactly how you are. And that you’re a great dad because you’d do anything for her, and you care about her, and you make her laugh. You’ve been through so much, but you’re amazing, and she sees that.” You wiped a tear from his cheek as Denki sniffle-laughed at the compliment, in spite of himself. “And so do I. I love you for all the things that make her just like you. And I’ll be here to help with anything I can.”

Smiling the tears away, brushing off the moment of weakness, Denki put a hand on the back of your neck, pulling you into a warm kiss. “By the way, I love you too,” he said, chuckling. “I know it’s still early and all, but you’ve really become part of the family.”

You gave him another peck on the lips just before Etsuko wandered back out of her bedroom and turned on the TV to some morning cartoons. Denki blushed, not wanting to be caught kissing you by his daughter. You leaned over and whispered in his ear, “I’ll stay as long as you’ll have me.”

Hello, anon ♥ Me and Mito have six children actually. Shinta (wanted to name him Shinta/ra/ma, but Mito said no) is the oldest and father of Tsunade. Then there’s a daughter Tomoe, boy Matsuda who is always hiding somewhere, girl Etsuko, son Kaminari and the youngest is Hinoto. 

Hinoto has white hair and red eyes  and there’s a certain possibility she’s Tobirama’s, but I might never know.

*I've seen all of the anime, so far, but am not very far in the manga. If some are canonically disproved, then I'll figure that out on my own time–

I do mention things I think up to the point of the school festival(I think that's around where the anime goes to, at current), though. If you haven't caught up to that point, you may not want to read this post.

Katsuki Bakugou

His dorm room is sort of a mix between Izuku's(not like he'll ever admit it), Eijirou's, and Kyouka's. The color scheme is prolly really based around his hero costume, with lots of blacks and oranges and maybe even a hint of green. Knowing his pride, even his sheets are prolly custom-made to match his aesthetic. Kat's got a punching bag and maybe other training equipment and, after the school festival, he ended up giving into his new hobby and got his hands on a drum kit. He's also got a couple of All Might merch, ofc– A poster, maybe a collectible here and there.

Katsuki isn't necessarily aromantic, because he does crush and knows a relationship-worthy person when he sees one. But, he strictly identifies as such because he feels it'd be selfish as a pro hero to have a lover than can be targeted. Plus, well, he has no interest in distractions, as tempting as it may be.

He's kinda like a tsundere when it comes to his parents' clothes lines, lmao. They love sending him stuff to wear and he honestly does feel pretty stylin' when he wears such, but he always protests and is all "Nada nada nada, I'm not some goddamn walking ad"

Kat's the only person in class 1-A who's completely fluent in English. Momo and Shouto are the only two that can really compete.

Hitoshi Shinsou

Shin's room is actually very cozy, warm, comfortable. He keeps a lot of cooler colors like grays, blues, and purples, with plain sheets. He also kinda sorta takes pride in the white fairy lights that decorate the walls– That lighting is kind of dim, but rediates calm vibes. He also has a sort of nest of plush pillows on his bed, that he can just sorta fall into at the end of a long day! It's surprisingly neat(other than his bed), as while he is too lazy to clean, Hitoshi's also too lazy to make a mess.

Over his time in UA, Hitoshi also develops his own sorta unlikely friend group! This includes Izuku Midoriya(Sports Featival, self-explanatory), Denki Kaminari(EraserMic parallels, plus I think a certain mangacap), Neito Monoma(It all started with a fist fight...), Momo Yaoyorozu(Responsible woman), and Mei Hatsume(They met during the Sports Festival). I like to think that Monoma and Shinsou are exes. It's a tolerate-hate relationship.

Similarly to Katsuki, Hitoshi sort of identified as ace-aro before having gotten with Neito. He doesn't really know what he identifies as, now, but he does crush every now and then.

Shin's got three pet cats! There's Bonji, a ginger tom of a housecat. He's a really prideful spoiled jerk that Hitoshi can't help but love, despite his ego. Bonji also probably ends up fathering Monster's kittens– She's a very very fluffy, chubby grey-and-white Manx. She's real snuggly and calm, and quiet. More of an observer than anything. Then there's Bear, this time a really whiny brown-and-white Manx that tends to get herself in trouble.

Also, if he's not a hero, then he's definitely a therapist. Or an author. Or both, most of the time. His office is called "Hear Meowt" and he's known for bringing cats in, from the local shelter.

Guns scare him. He thinks it's kind of a silly fear(especially for a pro hero) and would prolly get teased if it ever gets out, but– He could never bring himself to even shoot one. Gets all nervous if somebody in the room possesses one. The only class he puts 100% effort into, is Snipe's.

Also, Hito just– Never learned how to swim, cnejcmf. He's not scared of it or anything, and he's okay with hanging around a pool, but he can't swim and won't admit it.

Hanta Sero

Growing up he had a really bad habit of chewing his elbows(He also happens to be a flexible king) and ended up having to get braces(blush surgery because he messed up his goddamn elbOWs). That's why he has such straight teeth. He doesn't really like admitting it so he tries to be subtle but early on in the year he chewed on his retainer, too, and I bet there was one day where everybody just heard SNAP! from inside his mouth. Smile thru the pain, bby.

Also, yes, Hanta is a stoner– But! Being a hero-in-training, he's prolly ths most responsible stoner you've ever met. He'll never smoke on days that he has class or that he plans to train, and God forbid sharing his weed with others(unless, y'know, there's a responsible sober person around).

As such, he's not allowed to attend Bakugou's birthday. Doesn't stop anybody(other than Katsuki) from dragging him in, anyway, tho.

Eijirou Kirishima (But mostly his family)

His youngest sisters are the product of, ah, a cheating mother. So yeah, both parents are now divorced though the kids are in said mother's custody, because unfairness. Thing is, with a single mother that works, the situation gets especially bad after Ei moves into the dorms.

His older sister, the oldest of the kids, is Etsuko. She's 22 and left to America for college, as soon as she got the chance. She hates mom but is chill with all of her siblings, talking with them and dad whenever she gets the chance. Otherwise, her current girlfriend is a pro hero!

Then, after Eijirou, is Akari. He's 13-14 and filled with angst and anger and bitterness, not really going out of his way to show his hate toward the twins but definitely doing so if prompted. Their mom's sort of in the same boat, except for the fact that he just avoids her entirely. Akari takes after his dad, a lot, and sees him as a role model. Visits him whenever he gets the chance.

And then, there's Aiko and Aika(both twins, 8). Ko is really quiet, reserved, smart– She's the only of the two aware of why they don't have a father figure. As such, she has an internal self-loathe and does sometimes get angry and lash out, as a product. Ka's pretty much the opposite. She's real naive and fun and loud, the kind to play sports and gossip about boys and playfully tease her siblings. She doesn't really know much or care about the situation, but she does wish Akira would be nicer :(

As for Eijirou? Well, he's in a real tough situation. He loves both his mom and dad to pieces and could never exactly take a side, even if a small part of him resents mom for what she'd done to the family. After the divorce and especially after Etsuko left, he became sort of the man of the house, taking responsibility for all of his younger siblings. He caters to both his mother and father and though there is a lot of tense energy between the three, Ei gets by. After the dorms are implemented, he takes every chance that he possibly could to slip by.

hnng clarifications time

i have 200 too many ocs but im going to be listing off second, third, and fourth gen connections (like parent and child) to hopefully avoid confusion and also hopefully stop people from thinking i gave katsuki bakugou like 6 kids

starting with my second gen (visionaries)

koto aizawa is shota aizawa and hizashi yamada's ony child, shes a very busy person being a a kometologist (quirk scientist), biologist, and she's back in college working on an evolutionary science degree while also being the 1a ua homeroom teacher.

yua kirishima is the oldest of the bakugou-kirishima family kids, shes biologically the daughter of mina ashido and eijirou kirishima but she was legally adopted by katsuki bakugou at some point so legally she has 3 parents. shes a professional soccer player and the creator of any organization that helps people with mutation quirks.

takumi bakugou is the middle child of the bakugou-kirishima family kids, hes biologically and legally an only child but he grew up with three parents same as yua. hes married to a demon who eats people, but takumi is special so he doesnt get eaten (excluding the time he forced him to eat some of his arm but thats a story for another time!)

mansa bakugou is the youngest child of the bakugou-kirishima family kids, shes biologically only related to eijirou but legally eijirou and mina are her parents despite her last name being bakugou, shes a little bit dead as well

takayuki midoriya is the oldest child of the midoriya family kids, his personality is a 10/10 but his arms are a 1/2

kayo midoriya is the middle child of the midoriya family kids, shes a journalist and can bullshit her way out of any situation

ichirou midoriya is the youngest of the midoriya family kids, hes like kayo but evil because hes a politician

aito kaminari is the oldest of the kaminari family kids, the eyes are the gateway to the soul but if you make eye contact with him you will die in 3 minutes or else #quirkthings

iku kaminari is the middle child of the kaminari family kids, shes not allowed to talk to poeple
