hmmm thinking about Todoroki and Midoriya being childhood friends where they promised to marry each other so that todoroki could protect midoriya from bullies and he protects todoroki from his dad but one day todoroki just vanished and he doesn’t hear from him again until they end up in UA.
cue todoroki not wanting to get close because he’s still consumed by anger at his father and thinks Izuku won’t want to be his friend anymore since he’s changed so much and ignores him. Midoriya is hurt yet can’t stop thinking about him and the scar on his eye. i.e. they don’t interact in season 1. then sports festival happens and todoroki tells him everything. Midoriya is obvious like ‘i’m always gonna be your friend’ and ‘it’s your power isn’t it?’ while Todoroki is ‘i’m sorry’ and ‘thank you’.
The day after the sports festival has ended and everyone is back in class, Todoroki walks into the classroom, eyes set on Midoriya, gets on one knee and proposes. much to literally everyone else’s confusion.

Sneaking!
My old account locked me out, so I decided to remake and repost my old works again on my new Tumblr! @loveing- Eyes will be missed since I spent so much time growing them, but sometimes you have to let go!
EIJIOU KIRISHIMA
• Oh boy, Mina would be the one waiting for sure in the dark, either on your bed or in a chair, waiting to scare you and get juicy details. She had seen Bakugou looking for Kirishima while she was looking for you, and she knew you were off together somewhere.
• But him holding your hand as you two walked in your room, giggling with food coming back from your “first” date, got cut short by Minas squeal, which caused both of you two to jump up a little as you turned on the lights.
•intense interrogation Mina activated, especially knowing you had a crush on him beforehand. She was disappointed to learn it was just a short snack shopping date and felt bad she ruined your movie night, though she was happy her best friends finally realized they liked each other after months of mutual pining.
• left and told most of the girls the news so they could take you to celebrate.
DENKI KAMINARI
Jirou was one of his best friends, so naturally, she knew he liked you, and being one of the girls in your friend group, she knew you liked him back, but she decided to let nature run its course and see if the two of you would get together.
So when the two of you were nowhere to be found, she figured you were somewhere together, and she decided to scare you two by going to your room, turning off the lights, and waiting patiently for you to come back.
• The two of you coming back giggling and holding hands was something she was really happy about, and the two of you not noticing her before he tried to kiss you would forever be burned in her brain, but the cough she would let out, scaring you both to no end, was better.
• She then wouldn’t really pester them for details; she gets the basics. Congratulations to the two of you for realizing you are idiots in love before going back out to tell Momo the details.
SHINSOU HITOSHI
• Mina, being a good friend, found out that one of the girls in 1-A had run out of things, and she knew you had extra, so she had gone to your room to ask to borrow one.
• What she didn’t expect to see was you on your bed making out with a kid from 1-C, and especially not Shinsou.
• She didn’t really question it because the times she had seen him, you were looking at him like the last man on earth.
So she would just let out a laugh, smirking at you two and scaring you both. Even though Shinsou was very smart, he somehow didn’t hear the door open.
• In the middle of the confusion, she would make her way to where you keep things, grab two or three, and smirk at you two again before rushing outside to help her friend in need.
KATSUKI BAKUGO
• Oh boy, not only was Mina waiting, so was Kirishima.
• They both realized their best friend was missing, and it caused Kirishima to admit to Mina that Bakugo kind of liked you, and Mina had told him how you liked Bakugou.
• Though they did search for you two to see if you were just somewhere and they overlooked the two of you, they didn't, so they decided since Mina had a key and you trusted Kirishima that they would just simply wait in your room for them.
• Whoo, they weren’t ready to see you two coming back kissing, like Bakugo picking you up off the ground and carrying you into your room full-on, making out
• They both instantly made their presence known, and Bakugou put you down carefully while glaring at his friends.
• The two would profusely apologize, knowing they ruined a special moment. They wouldn’t really question anything at the moment, but later, like the next day or night, they would go see their respective best friends and get the details of what exactly led up to that moment.
SHOTO TODOROKI
• I feel like Mina and Jirou would realize they haven’t seen Todoroki in a while, and knowing he was your crush, they would be concerned and go try to find you, realizing you were nowhere to be found either.
• They would just stay in your room waiting for you to get back, not in some creepy way, but in some I’m bored and want to wait for y/n type of way.
• They probably would have zoned out talking; they would have forgotten why they went to your room in the first place, which probably confused you even more when you got back from using their money.
• honestly, they would have been happy to see you and shoot Mina a little more static than Jirou showed she was, and after Todoroki would leave, they would most likely go back to your room to know if it was a date or just a friendly hang out.
• spoiler alert It was a date, and half the dorms knew it from how loud Mina got with her squealing.

OKAY SO I GOT A VERY FUNNY IDEA
Ch kiribakudeku x little reader where she is so tiny in her headspace that she uses pacis and some day she lays her head on daddy bakugou and feels his nipple through his shirt and thinks it's a paci so she just bite in his nipple and he screams and now her other cg run into the room and ask what happened and he says that she bite his nipple and whole kiri laughs his ass off deku ask why she did it and she said innocently "pwaci" thinking that his nipple was a paci 😂😂💖

Pacifier Complications
BakuDekuKiri x Little!Reader
Kind of short didn’t mean for that, hope you enjoy <333
Tumblr media
The soft lullaby of Max & Ruby paired with the slow rocking that Bakugou was doing made her sleepy. She knew their tricks even in her headspace where they would get her all cozy and put her to bed. With her pacifier in her mouth she seemed to be falling into that trap.
That was until it fell from her mouth but she didn’t attempt to open her eyes. Instead she blindly searched while Bakugou was none the wiser hiding focus on the kid show. Until he felt something or someone bite his nipple a scream left his lips.
Looking down he noticed the closed eyed little looking up at him with wide eyes. Both of them stared at each other before the rush of footsteps was heard. Midoriya followed by Kirishima rushed into the room, “what happened? Is everything okay? Are we under attack-”
“Shutup Deku, she bit me..accidentally I think she thought I was her paci,” he explained rubbing his nipple.
Kirishima seemed to piece two and two together before howling with laughter. His hand on his stomach as he bent over to grab the couch.
“That’s it laugh it up, I bet my pain is amusing,” he said in a calm tone. Though on the inside he was seething knowing if she wasn’t in his lap he would have said a few things.
Midoriya on the other hand focused on her as he grabbed her fallen pacifier. “Aww she didn’t mean to…did you?”
“Thought it was my pwaci,” she explains taking it from his hand to put it back in her mouth. “Sowwy.”
Midoriya chuckled at her words as Bakugou shook his head, “don’t be sorry it’s okay. I’m fine though Eijirou..I’m not to sure about..”
“What’s that supposed to mean Katsuki?”
“Wait until naptime to find out..”
“You know I wasn’t laughing at you right? Right? Katsuki? I know you hear me!”

Revenge of the Power of Friendship: I’ve connected two dots...or actually a whole lot more than two, because it turns out that’s the whole fucking point
Hello.
We need to talk.
Tumblr media
Still freaking out over chapter 362 even though the official hasn’t dropped yet?
Good. That’s good.
I’m obviously enjoying this immensely.
What? Do you find that weird? Giant Katsuki Bakugou stan relishing in the current manga events? How could this possibly be?
This ain’t my first rodeo, kids. I’m well-versed in the tropes of shounen anime. I knew shit was going down the moment Toga yanked Izuku to Octo Island.
I’m just surprised we got to this point in the story so quickly, if I’m being honest.
Anyways, I have a meta for you. It’s a good one. Probably correct, too.
We’ll be touching on many things today, including but not limited to:
The heroes’ battle strategy
The Second OFA User’s quirk
All Might’s OFA vestige
AFO’s weakness
Saving Tenko Shimura
How the fuck a certain beloved character could still survive
Consider yourself warned.
Anyways, who wants to know what the fuck is going on in this arc?
Introduction
I don’t have a lot of time, so I’m not gonna do my normal meta weave for you. Some of you are probably wondering if Switch Theory or Possession Theory will come into play, so let me just say up front: this theory is separate but NOT mutually exclusive from them. I noticed a big thing which could ultimately play out many different ways, and the ways it can play out could still include either of those theories. What I’m about to explain is meant to be taken as a general observation. It likely has holes that will need to be melded into whatever new information we get in the future.
It’s just...this is too glaringly obvious now. SOMETHING along these lines is definitely happening right now in the MHA story.
Instead of laying this out for you dramatically, I’m just gonna get to it. Here are my observations.
The heroes are in on saving Tenko
There are two important people who were involved in drafting the heroes’ battle strategy: All Might and Ragdoll.
I know there were plenty of people out there who expected Shouto to kill Dabi or whatever. Plenty more still think that the heroes are trying to kill TomurAFO.
What happened with Dabi should prove that they’re not.
Heroes save. Heroes are explicitly forbidden from killing. But you don’t need to have faith in them for that either, because we’re talking about All Might.
All Might knows who Tenko Shimura is, and it was foreshadowed a long time ago that he would do something to try to save him.
Tumblr media
We know Izuku wants to rescue that little boy crying inside TomurAFO, and there’s no reason for him to have kept that a secret from anybody when the heroes were planning their attack. Everyone he’s working with are heroes. You can say what you will about each individual character, but it’s not even necessary that everyone wants to save Tenko. Given how strong TomurAFO is, anyone would be able to see that it could be much easier to save Tenko than kill the monster he has become. The goal is to stop Tenko from wanting to destroy everything, and there are ways other than killing him to achieve that.
Tumblr media
The evidence is there on the stage of their battle.
Tumblr media
The goal is to separate AFO and Tomura. They don’t mention killing Tomura in planning.
Additionally, OFA is part of the plan to fight Tomura, but no one ever says anything about how OFA would be used.
Tumblr media
If they just needed firepower, they wouldn’t have needed to include other people in the team fighting Tomura. And they included a LOT of firepower otherwise in that team. So...it must be something else OFA is supposed to do.
Probably the Second User’s quirk.
And above all, Katsuki doesn’t smile at all during the fight, which is kind of a tell. Katsuki distinctly always fails to smile when he’s in the mindset to perform a rescue.
The Second User’s quirk creates connections
Like I said, Switch Theory is not required for this meta, but it does contain some important elements I need to mention now.
I’ve never been more certain it relates to: touching a person (holding hands?) and saying their name.
Tumblr media
Note that I didn’t say that was an activation requirement. I mean, it probably is, but it’s really more about something else.
Tumblr media
"This is the story of how we all became the greatest hero.” I’m making this singular on purpose.
The full potential of One For All must rely on the connections Izuku has made with other people. The more connections he makes, the stronger he becomes.
I didn’t mention the significance of Ragdoll yet. Why is she important?
Because her quirk exists inside AFO.
She could be a window into AFO. Her quirk could actually end up being his weakness. She just has to be connected to another person on the outside.
Each fight has shown a person “thinking” of their friends as “one”
What have we seen in this war so far?
We’ve seen Shouto think of his friends just before hitting Dabi with his ultimate move.
Tumblr media
We’ve seen Jirou attack AFO out of love for her friends.
Tumblr media
And what’s interesting about both of those moments is that...they were extremely effective.
Tumblr media
In Jirou’s case, she even reached and empowered the stolen quirks inside AFO.
Tumblr media
What if all of these events are actually the result of OFA? What if they’re all connected?
What if everyone is affected by the Second User’s quirk already?
Tumblr media
All they would need to do is “think of everyone together as one.” One For All, if you will.
And this accomplishes...what?
Katsuki’s gonna live
What was Katsuki doing right before he went all-out against TomurAFO?
Mumbling like Izuku, taking note of TomurAFO’s battle habits, fighting through the pain...
Tumblr media
He was thinking of Izuku.
...maybe even talking to Izuku.
Tumblr media
TomurAFO freaks out about losing his cool against a non-OFA user. He thinks of the Second...which implies the Second gave him a lot of trouble before he ever had OFA either.
Tumblr media
(That’s a yin-yang image if I ever saw one.)
Perhaps the Second’s quirk gives a compounding power boost of some kind depending on how many connections have been forged, or maybe it’s based on how “united” the connections are in heart and mind. I say power boost, but I don’t know if it’s actually something so straightforward as a strength increase. I’m just saying whatever it is, it seems to...empower people.
At this point, I’m inclined to name his quirk “Rally.”
It gave Shouto the strength to reach Touya’s heart, as represented by their childhood selves.
It allowed Jirou to reach out to the vestiges trapped inside AFO.
It allowed Katsuki to...see All Might’s vestige?
Tumblr media
I’ll come back to this.
I just want to round this point out first by pointing out...this bit?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maybe this is OFA, actually.
Or maybe it’s not, but...
Tumblr media
...maybe it’ll allow a connection between Shouto and someone else despite a large distance between them. Maybe Shouto is healing Touya’s chest (whether he realizes it or not). And maybe OFA will allow Shouto to use it on someone else who needs it.
Just look at that X over Shouto’s chest in the above panel, and...
Tumblr media
...look at Katsuki’s uniform design. Look where his heart wound is.
All For One versus All Might
Okay, let’s get back to All Might’s vestige.
Tumblr media
As I pointed out in my literal translation of chapter 358, AFO’s stated goal here is to define the world by “things that are me” versus “things that are not me.” He’s placed a piece of himself in Tomura and taken him over. He’s kidnapped and raised kids as potential vessels for him. He’s created noumu of the dead to obediently follow his orders, and he communicates to them via radio waves like they’re all some kind of hive mind.
So what if the “not AFO” pieces of the world could do something similar?
Tumblr media
What if they could unite via the power of OFA? What if the Second’s quirk IS Switch, or else something else that allows him to create vestiges in everyone?
What would they place in everyone that they could resonate with?
Tumblr media
There is a lot of weirdness happening in this scene. A) They must be in the vestige plane, but whose vestige plane? It certainly doesn’t look like Tomura’s or Izuku’s. It’s a blank white space. B) Katsuki is wearing his school uniform...with a tie??? He’s only done that once before...
Tumblr media
I genuinely cannot tell if Katsuki’s meeting with All Might’s vestige is actually happening in the moment or a flashback. Izuku as OFA’s holder doesn’t appear wearing clothes in the vestige world, so...is this not Katsuki’s vestige world either? Is this a piece of his soul as manifested by the Second’s quirk, and it takes on the form of what he looked like when it was forged--say when he united Class 1-A together to go save Izuku? a.k.a when he was able to “think of everyone as united, as one”?
Is this actually happening in the moment, and All Might’s vestige is doing something to save Katsuki? Perhaps Switching with him? Was his vestige already there and empowering him? Was it part of the plan? Is Katsuki trying to somehow inject All Might’s vestige into TomurAFO so it can save Tenko?
Remember: All Might’s vestige is not a quirk. It’s a piece of his consciousness. It’s basically a fragment of his soul.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Things that are AFO versus Things that are All Might
Talk about a brand-new Possession Theory! And a new Fusion Theory!
How can Tenko Shimura be a hero?
Thanks @class1akids for helping me realize Tomura’s growing an extra face.
I suppose if Katsuki’s heart or body craps out on him, we can always grow him a new one to put his soul back in.
Maybe we can grow bodies for all the other stolen quirks’ vestiges, too.

Tied Down (Part One)
Tumblr media
Cowboy!Bakugou x AFAB Reader
Summary: You've been trying to become number one for so long, but just when you thought you would become a Champion Reiner, Bakugou Katsuki steals the spot from beneath your nose and becomes your number one rival. While on your way back to the top you find out there's more to Bakugou than meets the eye.
Tumblr media
Hi friends, back again with Cowboy!Bakugou! I'm pretty excited about this one :) It's got some good tropes rivals to lovers, sort of a love triangle, and some good old drama and spice lmao I'm not sure how long this will be, but I guess around six or seven parts! This first part is a little short, just to get the ball rolling lol think its about 5k?
Warnings: Alcohol, mentions of an accident, someone becoming paralyzed, dub-con, only a little bit of grinding lmao kind of a love triangle
Part Two! Part Three!
Tumblr media
Part One
There was something brewing in the air the night you saw him. The wind had stilled, the air grew thick with moisture, and the smell of rain tickled your nose. Tension was high and you could feel it and the horses could too.
That night was an important one, probably the most important one of your career. It practically determined if you would be able to keep your family's ranch or not. You were in the final champion show for reining horses and the pool of riders was small, just you and about twenty others. Apparently, you were expected to win, at least so you thought.
That all changed when he showed up on his big blue roan stallion and you instantly knew that you had lost. He got a perfect score and a standing ovation from the crowd, that night his horse had become the number one reining horse in the whole country.
You ended up having to pull out before you ran, his horse had kicked yours in the knee, hard, on the way out of the arena in a scuffle you thought had to be fate. Both stallions never even acknowledge each other until you locked your gaze with his. He didn’t even apologize, all he did was turn his nose up at you and told you to “get a better hold on that damn stud, its a fuckin’ wonder you even made it this far.”
Those words lit a fire under you that would burn hot and bright for three years and for three years you worked hard to climb back up to the top of the ranks, and along the way you would never forget the face of Bakugou Katsuki, the man that took everything away from you.
------------------------------ Three Years Later—------------------
His face was everywhere you turned and so was that fucking blue roan. Your knuckles turned white as you gripped the magazine in your hands, staring into the red gaze of Bakugou Katsuki.
“If you keep glarin’ at that magazine any longer it’s gonna catch on fire,” Toshinori’s deep voice sounded from next to you.
You sighed, drawing your gaze away from your number one rival, well at least in your mind he was your number one rival. “I know,” you answered with a sigh, “it’s just why does everyone kiss the ground this guy walks on? He’s not that great.”
“He’s number one,” Toshinori answered loosely.
“Well I’m gonna be number one too,” you seethed, “just wait, this year it’s gonna change.”
Toshinori looked at you, his expression was soft, yet it held mild concern. He had always looked out for you, being your father’s best friend and all. Once your father passed away, and you lost the ranch, he stepped up and tried to make sure you would fill your dad’s boots, but it proved to be harder than he thought. You had the potential for sure, but you were hot-headed and stubborn.
“Stop lookin’ at me like that, Toshi,” you sighed as the announcer told the crowd that the competition was about to start.
Toshinori sighed as he ran a hand through his straw colored hair, “I know, but kid, you’ve gotta cool off, that horse of yours gets too riled up when you do and you mess up. Both of you can’t be too hot out there or you’ll keep gettin’ second.”
“I know that,” you said through gritted teeth as your gaze cut to your stallion. He had gotten older, probably older than most stallions in the show, but he was your pride and joy, a big dunskin with four white socks. He was a good horse, mean as hell when he needs to be, which you liked, that meant he was smart.
However, you did acknowledge you both were too hot in the arena. Too insync with each other needs to go, to be number one. So you nodded and sighed, letting your shoulders relax as you reined in your anger.
Today you would be calm. Nothing could even go wrong really, this was just a qualifying bracket and an early one too. Your horse was way too good to not get first right now. If you won this bracket you’d move up and then you’d be three shows away from competing with Bakugou.
“Go get on, you’re about to run,” Toshinori’s voice cut into your thoughts.
You glanced up at your uncle and nodded, deciding to keep quiet as you got on your horse and made your way into the arena. You were the first one to go. The crowd was sparse, but that didn’t matter to you, you weren’t there to impress, like a certain someone you knew.
The announcer called your name and number and you set off, going through your course pretty smoothly until you came to your last sliding stop. As your horse slid across the arena dirt you suddenly locked eyes with the last person you were expecting to see at your show.
Bakugou.
In fact, he was sitting right next to Toshinori, listening as your uncle rambled about something, but he was watching you. He had his legs crossed at the knee, showing off his fancy new boots that you could tell cost him a pretty penny.
You narrowed your eyes and backed your horse up before patting the side of his neck. He was breathing hard, and so were you. The fire inside of your belly got hot with anger as your rival lifted his lips up into a smirk.
You turned your horse away from him and made your way out of the arena and back towards your trailer and truck that were parked. Some voices sounded from behind you and you didn’t even bother to look back, you knew whose voice that was. That deep timbre accented with a country twang that had all your girlfriends raging.
With a disgruntled sigh you stopped your horse and got off, still keeping to yourself as you led him up to where his halter was tied at the trailer.
“Did good out there, kid,” Toshinori said as he patted your horse's bum, “Cowboy is easily gonna take the win on this one.”
“Didn’t keep your hands soft though,” Bakugou quickly added in before you could say your thanks to your uncle.
“Don’t talk to me about soft hands,” you hissed as you took off your horse's bridle and placed his halter back on, roughly tying the rope by the side of his cheek while he started to grab at his hay net.
“Bakugou does have soft hands, darlin’,” Toshinori gently said. Even though he knew you hated Bakugou’s guts, he also knew that he’d be a great teacher to you. Teach you patience and how to cool off, something he had to teach Bakugou himself. Granted he had to admit your temper was much more fiery than the blond next to him.
You clenched your jaw, muttering something venomous under your breath as you undid the girth of your saddle.
“What was that?” Bakugou asked, lifting an eyebrow as he moved up next to you, and easily lifted the saddle from your horse's back.
“Nothin’,” you snapped, watching as he easily placed your saddle back on its rack in the tack section of your trailer. “I had that.”
“Y/n,” Toshinori hissed quietly from behind you, “let the poor boy help ya, okay? He’s trying to extend - wadda you call it?- an olive branch?”
“Olive branch or not, he’s full of it,” you sneered, eyeing Bakugou as he snooped through your tack, “you and I both know he’s just sniffin’ out the competition. Does this every year, it gets his rivals unnerved. You saw what happened to Izuku last year? Yeah, you and I both know Izuku doesn’t just fall off his horse during a spin, Bakugou got all up in his head.”
Toshinori’s lips flattened into a flat line, he seemed displeased that you brought up his favorite student, practically his other adopted son besides Bakugou. “Katsuki isn’t like that, don’t you dare blame him.”
“Yeah fuckin’ right, Toshi. You just can’t see it cause you love him like he’s your own, but I can. He’s a snake, plays dirty as hell to get what he wants. Even to his best friend, Izuku, and he’ll do it to me too. Your actual family,” you said, feeling your anger flare as you turned on your heel heading towards Bakugou who was looking at your horse's stifles.
“These look a little sore, probably need to get them injected,” he said, lips quirked up again at the sight of your deepening frown.
“Yeah? Are you a vet?” you scoffed as you kicked his knee, prompting him to stand up. He was tall, you'd give him that. Probably around 6’4 without his boots on. You knew he liked to use his height to intimidate people, but that didn’t work on you. Not anymore. “Get the hell out of here, I know what you’re doin’ and it’s not gonna work.”
“And what would that be, princess?” Bakugou drawled as he leaned against your trailer.
“You’re trying to get in my head, make me mess up,” you answered while folding your arms across your chest. “It’s not gonna work this year, Katsuki. I’m gonna take that number one spot from you.”
Bakugou’s playful dememour instantly turned dark at your threat, he laughed, it was deep and mocking. “I highly doubt that. You can try, but just like all the years past you’ll mess up. Get all tangly in that head of yours,” he said as he flicked you in the forehead.
“Ouch!” you hissed, rubbing your forehead as you glared up at him. “That supposed to scare me? C’mon Bakugou, you can do better than that,” you hissed glancing back at your uncle who was on his phone and not listening, which allowed you to lean into Bakugou closer, “I know what you said to Izuku last year, don’t think that’s gonna work on me.”
An emotion flashed across Bakugou’s face that you couldn’t place, but you quickly guessed it might have been guilt, which was strange. However, it was quickly replaced with a smug smirk, “you think so? Then you better watch out, princess, you’ll be next.”
You huffed and rolled your eyes, “alright, sure. Go and get, I’m tired of lookin’ at you.”
Bakugou huffed, glancing up at your uncle who was now watching you both, “yeah whatever, work on your hands? I want to have some actual competition this year, ya know?”
You snorted and shook your head as you watched him turn on his heel and walk towards his obnoxiously large black truck. Well, you both had the same truck but yours was better. “Let’s go home,” you said aloud.
—-----------------
“Don’t you think you should listen to him?” your friend Tsu asked as she rode past you on her large warmblood gelding.
“My hands are soft,” you said with a huff as you loosened your reins.
Tsu shook her head as he cantered up towards a high jump. You could hear her counting her strides before her horse leaped over the jump and landed perfectly on the other side. She rode back up to you and came to a stop, “he’s right, you extend your shoulder too far out, I think you’re just being nice to Cowboy. He’d do better with more contact on his bit.”
You frowned as you grabbed your reins and adjusted your arm so you weren’t letting it hang too far over the saddle. It’s not like you didn’t have soft hands, you did, but that’s when you were riding English. Which is where you met your friend Tsu. Both of you met when you were younger and learned everything you knew about riding.
“That’s better,” she said as she watched you trot around her. “I hate to say it, but maybe you should let Bakugou give you a lesson?”
Tsu!” you almost screeched causing her horse to jump at the shrill tone of your voice, “you did not just say that!”
Tsu laughed, “just kidding, Y/n, but maybe go watch him ride?”
You chewed the inside of your cheek as you mulled over her suggestion, “I guess I could. Maybe get inside his head.”
“Sure sure,” Tsu said with another chuckle as she glanced down at her watch, “look I gotta go, but text me if you’re going to that bar tonight with Ochako and Momo?”
“I will, just be ready by ten just in case,” you said as you watched Tsu head back to the stable. You were currently working as a ranch manager on Toshinori’s ranch which allowed Tsu to board her horse at his stable for cheap. It was a nice gig and Toshi paid you well, despite you being his niece.
Granted he needs the extra help anyway. You swallowed thickly as a memory flashed in your eyes. You took a shaky breath before heading back to the stables and watching Tsu peel out of the driveway in her green car.
You dismounted Cowboy and began untacking him again and let him loose around the stable so he could graze. He was good for a stallion, you trained him well, so you didn’t have to worry too much about him getting to the mares or the other horses. You’d still put him up before you left anyway.
“He’s always been a good one, hasn’t he?” a gentle voice said from inside of the stables.
You squinted as you watched Izuku wheel out of the stable with a solemn look on his face. “Yeah, Cowboy is a special horse.”
“I know, you’ve trained him up pretty good, Y/n,” Izuku said with a small smile as he stopped his wheelchair in front of you.
You smiled down at Izuku. What had happened to him was tragic. He was neck and neck with Bakugou during last year's championship competition. You thought he was better than Bakugou actually, he had raw talent and a work ethic that was insane.
Although during his run last year something that seemed impossible happened, Izuku came out strong but once he got to his last spin his horse slipped and landed right on Izuku crushing his lower back and paralyzing him almost immediately.
You knew Bakugou had been taunting him before, telling him not to hold his reins too tight, don’t press his heel too hard into his horse's side, relax in the saddle or something would go wrong. All things to unnerve Izuku and for Izuku to have a fall like that, whether it was his fault or his horse just slipped, you would always blame Bakugou for trying to get into Izuku’s head, mess with him. It wasn’t right.
You’d never forget the cry that Izuku let out when his horse landed on him or the shock in his voice when he shouted he couldn’t feel his legs, it was horrifying.
“You okay?” Izuku asked, tilting his head as his green curls fell to the side of his face.
You nodded and plastered on a smile, “yeah, and hey we got first yesterday. Gonna knock Bakugou down from the top this year.”
Izuku smiled, “I’m sure you will, Y/n.”
“Thanks Izu,” you said with a smile as you placed your hand on his shoulder.
“Y/n,” Izuku began as he gazed out into the open arena, “I know you blame him, but he didn’t do this. I just want you to know that, it was just an accident.”
You curled your fingers into Izuku’s shoulder, “He shouldn’t have been telling you all of that before your run. He got into your head, made you nervous Izu.”
“He did do that, but I’ve made peace that it was an accident,” Izuku said, even though there was a small hint of anger in his voice.
“If you think so,” you said quietly, watching your best friend gaze out across the field to where some of the horses were grazing, including his now gelded stallion.
Izuku nodded and gave you a small smile, “have fun tonight, don’t let Ochako talk to any other guys,” he teased.
You snorted, “she’s only got eyes for you, Izu.”
Izuku’s cheeks flushed and he looked away from you trying to conceal his grin.
You grinned and ruffled his hair before heading inside to get ready to have fun with your friends, but the nagging voice in your head told you that Izuku should be with you too.
—---------------------
The bar you were in was a bit interesting, but it was your favorite. There was a big dance floor in the middle, lots of places to sit, some places to play pool, and a mechanical bull. However, the best part was that off to the far right there was a small indoor arena where there would be bull riding at midnight.
It was pretty entertaining and it helped you loosen up a bit. Which you needed, you were acutely aware of the stick up your ass right now.
The music was loud as you chugged down a whiskey sour before reaching for another one, feeling your body become buzzed with the alcohol. It felt nice to be feeling so light for once.
“Ooh! Look! They’re about to ride the bulls,” Momo shouted as she dragged you across the bar and towards the arena where you both climbed onto a table to get a better look.
“What about Tsu and Ochako?” you slurred as you fixed your crop top.
“They’ll catch up!” Momo shouted as the lights turned on and the announcer started to hype up the crowd as the guys in the pen got the first bull ready.
“First up we’ve got Eijirou Kirishima or better known as Red Riot! He’s well known around here, never seen a guy take as many horns to the side as him, dude’s built like a boulder!” the announcer shouted as the crowd went wild.
Your eyes widened as you watched the largest guy you’ve ever seen get on his bull, which was huge too. He had a mass of wild red hair and laughed as his buddies slapped him on the shoulder.
“That’s like your dream guy, Y/n,” Momo said loudly as she watched your face, you were in utter awe.
“I know,” you said as you mindlessly took a sip of your drink.
“Better go get ‘em before the other girls do,” Momo said with a giggle as she nudged your arm, “you gotta let loose for once.”
You nodded, keeping your eyes glued to Kirishima as his ride started. He was good, hanging on tight as he kept one arm up while the bull bucked wildly around the small arena. You let out a gasp as the bulls head slammed back into Kirishima’s face causing his mask to fly off, but he held on until the timer buzzed and then let go. He landed rather roughly but managed to scramble to his feet and climb the fence.
In a brief moment you caught his scarlet gaze and he grinned and wiped the blood off his face from his nose.
“Did he just smile at you?” Momo asked, glancing between the two of you.
You nodded, a slow grin growing on your face as you watched Kirishima hop off the fence and towards the back after his bull exited the arena. “He did.”
—----------
Across the bar, Bakugou was nursing a warm beer as Denki continued to ramble on about how he breaks in colts to the girl snuggled into his side.
“Look who's here,” Shindo said from next to Bakugou as he set his beer down, “Y/n’s up on that table with Shoto’s girl, yeah?”
Bakugou turned his gaze towards you to see you standing on your toes, dressed in something he doesn't usually see you in. He then watched as you hopped off the table and practically sprinted towards the arena. “The hell is she scurrying off to?”
“Who knows,” Shindo said with a yawn, “that one is trouble though, mean as hell, just like that stud she has,” he added as he rubbed his arm, there was a small scar there from when your horse bit him.
Bakugou huffed, cutting his gaze to Cami who had come back by his side and placed her hand on his chest, “got your drink?”
She nodded, grinning as she took a sip of her drink, “yup, thanks for paying, Kats.”
He nodded, giving her cheek a small pinch between his fingers as he turned his gaze back towards you. To his surprise you were talking with one of his close friends, Eijirou Kirishima. He was a bull rider and did some ranch work on the side, pushing cattle and such.
“Oh she’s talking to Eijirou,” Shindo said with a snort, “he better watch out, sure she bites too.”
“You’re just jealous,” Sero finally spoke up from the other side of the booth, “she’s rejected you like four times, Shindo.”
“Yeah whatever,” Shindo said with a snort as he took a heavy sip from his beer.
Bakugou furrowed his brows as he watched his friend tuck some of your hair behind your ear, and he felt something heavy settle in his stomach like lead.
—-----------------
“You’re really good,” you said rather awkwardly to Kirishima who had just tucked a strand of loose hair behind your ear.
“You think so?” he said with a chuckle as he let his hand drop down next to his side again.
You nodded, “yeah,” you trailed off, feeling your face turn hot.
Kirishima laughed, “you’re cute, you wanna dance?” he asked as he held his hand out for you.
Your eyes widened, “um okay, I’m not very good though."
He laughed again as his hand engulfed yours, “that’s okay, just follow my lead. I’ll take good care of ya.”
You smiled as you let him lead you onto the dance floor and he immediately pulled you in close. He was tall, pushing 6’6 and you were level with his chest, which meant you had to look up to see his face.
Kirishima placed his hand on the small of your back and held your hand in his as he began to pull you along to the music, making you laugh.
“Gonna twirl ya, ready?” he asked, his scarlet eyes shining under the multicolored lights.
You nodded, grateful that the alcohol was making you more relaxed and definitely looser, or you knew you’d be stiff as a board in his arms. A small shout escaped you as he twirled you and then dropped you down into a dip, making you scramble to grab onto him.
“You’re just too cute sweetheart,” he cooed, giving you a wide smile and exposing a set of perfectly white teeth.
You nearly melted as he pulled you back up flush against him. He smelled good too, like spice and just a little bit of alcohol. It was almost addicting as he pulled you close to him again, and ran his thumb over the back of your hand as he led you both around the dance floor.
The song soon ended and you found yourself back in a secluded booth sipping on another whiskey sour as Kirishima told you about his day job of working as a ranch hand at Crimson Ranch.
“So what about you darlin’?” Kirishima asked as he pulled you closer to him and rested his big hands on your thighs.
“Oh I work as a ranch manager for my uncle’s ranch now, but I rein,” you answered as you felt yourself lean into him.
“Really?” Kirishima drawled as he inched his hands up further on your bare thighs, “well, believe it or not, I’ve seen you ride before, you’re talented.”
Your eyes widened, “you have?”
Kirishima nodded, “yeah, one of my friends does reining too, he’s pretty good, but I’d reckon you’re better,” he said with a wink.
If he hadn't already won you over with the smooth talking and dancing he sure did now. “Yeah?”
Kirishima nodded, as he helped you settle onto his lap. He gazed up at you as he placed his hands on your hips and hooked his thumbs into your belt loops and pulled you flush against him, “oh yeah, you and that dunskin make a good pair, you gonna bring home the championship this year?”
“Now you’re just tryin’ to butter me up,” you said, trying to keep your cool as you resisted the urge to grind down on him.
Kirishima almost purred, “nah, just tellin’ the truth darlin’.”
You lifted an eyebrow, “dunno, not sure if I believe ya.”
“No?” Kirishima teased as he watched you lean over, you both were so close that your lips were just barely grazing his.
“No,” you answered, letting your eyes close as he pressed his lips to yours. A soft sigh escaped you as you kissed him. He tasted like whiskey and a little bit of blood, but that didn’t bother you. All that you could think of was his hands on you and the warm feeling starting to spread into your limbs from your tummy.
Kirishima nipped at your lip making you whine as you tangled your hands into his mane of hair and pressed yourself closer against him, so close that you coud feel the planes of muscle through his flannel and the bulge in his jeans.
You broke away to catch your breath as he pressed open mouthed kisses to your jaw and down the side of your neck as you rocked your hips against his, gasping into his ear as the buckle of his belt pressed aginst your core just right.
“Fuckin’ hell,” Kirishima groaned as he squeezed your sides and spread his legs more, he was fixing to run his hand under your crop top, but he caught sight of someone marching up towards him.
“Kiri,” you muttered, voice needy as he pressed his hand to your lower back making you whine softly.
“Hold on sweetheart,” he whispered sweetly into your ear, “Katsuki, what’s up dude?”
You froze, Katsuki? Dread filled your veins like ice as you stiffened in Kirishima’s big arms.
“The hell are you doin’?” Bakugou’s deep voice cut through your syrupy haze like a hot knife.
“What I want, mind your own business, yeah?” Kirishima said with a large smirk, which only grew as he felt you stiffen even more, “look ya scared her.”
You gulped and turned your head to look at Bakugou over your shoulder.
Bakugou held your gaze, trying to avoid looking at your swollen lips or the red marks on your neck, or the fact that he could see Kirishima still grinding up into you. He swallowed thickly and narrowed his eyes at you before finally speaking, “better not miss your lesson tomorrow, princess.”
“Lesson?” you asked, raising your eyebrows in shock.
“Your uncle set it up a few hours ago, don’t be late, it's at eight tomorrow morning,” Bakugou said while rolling his eyes as he turned on his heel and headed out towards the front door, reaching his hand out for Cami to grab.

Okay so I saw art on here the other day of Deku leaning over a casket with bakugou in it, in his hero uniform. And it inspired this fic. I wrote this in like an hour - it’s not edited, sorry.
FOUND THE ART - beautiful bkdk art by Bleedingivorydraws
You can also blame @z-mizcellaneous-z because we had a quick little idea abt a super angsty fic so they put me in the mood. *no worries bestie! I’m just joking around. I love you! /plat and I’m kinda thankful for getting this out!
Also, please get tissues ready when reading this cuz I fucking was sobbing writing it.
Still The Wonder Duo
“Remember when we were little and we had planned to become heroes together? We would play heroes all day long. You’d always wanna be All Might and you would let me be All Might too. It was nice when we would switch who was All Might. But even on days when I was All Might I still looked at you; still followed your lead. You were my hero even then. You were so overwhelming to watch, but I could never look away.
“I remember when we got our All Might trading cards too. I was so happy we’d gotten the same one. I knew we’d be together forever because that’s how little kids' brains work. We got the same card at the same time and it proved that destiny was real.”
Izuku sniffles and eyes shift to the card currently laying visible under black and orange gloved hands. Izuku’s own hands cover a majority of them and he can barely see the blood on the corner.
“Destiny is a bitch.” He whispers to himself and shakes his head trying to quell the still steady flowing tears down his cheeks. “You think you’ll get All Might to sign it wherever you both go? You know he will.”
Deku swallows tightly, lump in his throat, but he refuses to start sobbing. He needs to have clear enough eyes right now. Needs to keep soaking in blonde hair, the angles of pale skin, the new scar covering the right side of a face he’s known since they were children. Take in the sharp point of a nose and the curve of lips he’s only recently discovered the taste of; he reaches to cradle the cool sharp jaw of his childhood best friend in his palm. His other hand grips tightly to black and orange gloves, placed over a nonmoving stomach.
“We didn’t even get to go on a date yet.” He wishes red eyes would snap open at this confession and Kacchan would glare at him tightly and grumble: “all the good places got destroyed, shitty nerd. But let’s ditch these fuckers and i’lll make something back at the dorms before the extras show up and ruin it”.
Izuku would have laughed and used OFA to get them back to the dorms. They’d get to the kitchen and Kacchan would have him start cutting vegetables for whatever meal he’d make for him. And then yell at Deku when he didn’t like the cuts he’d make. He imagines Kacchan would wrap his arms around him, hands placed over his own to guide him in a demonstration of proper cutting and chopping techniques. And once Izuku would have completed his task he’d have sat on the counter next to the stove while Kacchan cooked for them - stealing as many kisses as he could. Then they’d move to eat at the island, ankles wrapped around the other. He’d try to steal Kacchan’s food, and they’d argue that it was the same food in each bowl. But Izuku would want Kacchan’s because Kacchan’s food was always better. He’d have those wonderful, bright, red eyes on him again. He’d have been happy just to see the intensity of Kacchan’s eyes bare into his soul for one last time. He would have -
“Kacchan - ” Izuku chokes on his next breath, because its a vision of a life they won’t have anymore. One he’ll never have again. Because the person he’s supposed to share his life with is lying before him in a casket. For someone so lively in life it's terrifying and wrong to see him so still. “Kacchan - “ He chokes again, chest tight and constricting. The tears are coming in stronger.
He rests his chin on his bicep. It’s an awkward angle, but he needs to be able to breathe in the caramel, smoke and sweat of Kacchan’s orange jacket without moving his eyes away from his face.
Izuku had been sitting outside the dorms with Kacchan, enjoying one of the last nights before they were sent out to fight. The late may nighttime air had turned chilly and Izuku had just about to suggest they head inside when Kacchan shucked off his favorite orange jacket and draped it over Izuku’s visibly shivering shoulders.
“But what about you?” He’d asked.
Kacchan had shrugged, “I run hot,”
Izuku hid a smile into the collar and breathed in deep. “Kacchan gave me his jacket.”
“Yeah, well,” He’d rolled his eyes, like it didn’t matter but Izuku could just make out a blush across Kacchan’s cheeks, “Don’t expect it everytime, Deku.”
“Okay.” He giggled into the coat.
Kacchan had rolled his eyes again, then lifted his nearest arm. Deku had taken the invitation and scooted the half a foot over to curl up into Kacchan’s chest.
“After all this is over, I’m going to date you so damn hard.”
“You can’t make dating into a competition, Kacchan?”
“Fucking watch me.”
“I already do.”
Kacchan had huffed in embarrassment, but Izuku knew he liked it. He shifted up in his hold and kissed what he could reach - the edge of Kacchan’s jaw. Kacchan of course didn’t think that was enough and had turned his head to press his lips firmly to Izuku’s. Izuku had felt like he was in heaven; the happiest he’d felt in a long time.
Now he’s struggling to find those kernels of happiness as the body under his hands remains cold.
“I wish giving you your jacket back would make you warm again. But I know your pride won’t let you take it back.”
Izuku stares at Katsuki Bakugou and studies his features till his breathing has returned to a relatively normal pace and the tears are no longer destroying his image of victory.
He doesn’t know how long he sits there.
But he knows it’s not long enough.
“Izuku,” A hand appears on his shoulder and Deku jumps and turns to look into a grey and blue eye. Shoto. Next to him stands Kirishima, his own red eyes - not the red that Izuku is desperate to see though - are filled with unshed tears. “It’s time to go, Izuku.”
Fear rises up quickly in his chest and he chokes once more on his breath, “What?” He turns to look at Kacchan, waiting to see an eyes roll and for him to tell them both to ‘fuck off’ till he was ready. But all that remains is a peacefully blank expression. “But… but…” He can feel the panic rise, “It hasn’t been long enough. We only just got here… we can’t…”
“Izuku,” Shoto squeezes his shoulder, “It’s been 5 hours.”
“NO.” Izuku shakes his head. He can’t look away from Kacchan. He has to be with him. Screw Kacchan’s pride, Izuku will walk with him till they get to his resting place. “No, it’s not time. I can’t leave him.”
“We have to go, Midobro.” Kirishima sniffles. “They have to take him back.”
“They can’t have him,” He growls and shoots his friends a glare so sharp he sees them take a tentative step back. Good. His eyes go back to Kacchan.
He hears shifting next to him, Shoto’s hands leave his shoulders; but he doesn’t look away. Trying to memorize blonde hair and how it sits just so, the way it felt to hold Kacchan’s cheek, the arch of eyebrows when doing something stupid, the way pink would tinge across his nose when Izuku would stare too long. He wants to see it now.
“Midoriya, It’s time to go.” A new voice says.
“No.”
“Midoriya, I will lift you out of here. Let’s not make a scene.”
“I don’t care. I can’t just leave him. He promised.”
“Promised what?”
Izuku can feel the tears welling up again, throat tightening and his words are voiced just above a whisper, “That we’d do this together. Side by side. He promised.”
“Okay, okay.” The new voice soothes, “He will always be with you. No matter what. He’ still with you, tied to your soul. So it’s okay to leave; because he has never left you.”
Izuku is surprised at the words and turns to look to his left to see Aizawa-sensei squatting near his knee. His eyes are red and not from quirk use. They shine like he just put eye drops in. “Sensei,” Izuku whispers.
“Come on, Midoriya. One more goodbye.”
Izuku gasps and turns back to Kacchan. Goodbye? No. no no no no no. he can’t say goodbye. It’s not time yet. They stil have so much they need to do.
He didn’t realize he was shaking his head and muttering until Aizawa places a hand on his knee, “You have to. It’s time.”
“NO!” He shouts. He can’t he can’t he can’t he can’t -
“We can do this the hard way or you can walk out of here on your own.”
He doesn’t remember what he answers, just tries to touch Kacchan one more time. Maybe he tried to wake him? Maybe he tried to kiss ice cold lips one last time. Tries to run his fingers through golden hair onc last time. But one second he’s sitting and the other he’s benign held tight to Aizawa’s chest and carried away from Kacchan.
“Kacchan!!” He screeches, tyring to see past Aizawa’s shoulder. “NO! No you can’t make me leave him! He can’t leave yet!!”
He tries to push away, but he’d been pretty week from the fighting and hadn’t been eating much since the final battle. He was weak. Kacchan would be so mad at him. Well he’s mad at him too.
“YOU PROMISED!” He yells, tears are flowing freely now, blurring his vision, “You fucking promised we do this together! You’re not allowed to leave me! You hear me! Please!!”
They’re getting further away, kacchan drifting farther away from him. He can make out other people on the edge of his peripheral; but they don’t matter. No else matter right now..
“Take me back! You can’t leave me! Kacchan please! Please please please! You’re mine they can’t have you!”
He cries and tries to escape Aizawa’s hold but his hold is too tight. Izuku gets one last glance at Kacchan’s bright blonde hair and fitted in his hero suit - looking as gorgeous as ever. As beautiful as he should be as Izuku’s symbol of victory. And then they turn a corner and he’s gone.
“NO!” He screeches once more, “Kacchan! Kacchan Kacchan Kacchan - “ He cries. He sobs. He can’t do this without him. It hurts without him. They were supposed to do this together.
“It’s going to be okay, Midoriya. It’s going to be okay.” Aizawa tries to soothe him.
“Kacchan - “ Izuku sobs into his Sensei’s shoulder. He can only say the name of his future. He thinks of what could have been. Sobs for the person who should be holding him currently. Sobs for his closest person. Sobs for a boy who was gone too soon; for a boy who was only just coming into himself.
Izuku passes out against Aizawa’s shoulder, Kacchan’s name on his lips.

How about Bakugo’s slightly older twin sister who has there dad’s quirk (Acid sweat I think) but without the protection so she has to stay in a chilled hospital room so even if she were to sweat she’d have almost instantly. Because of the fact that she’s not allowed to sweat she’s just super calm. Bakugo would really try to make her happy any time he’d visit her because she hadn’t been able to go outside in literally years. Deku would know her because she was Bakugo’s twin. When class 1A see’s Bakugo going to a hospital there at least a little scared so they follow him until he sees them. They ask Bakugo about why he was there and he responded telling them about how he was visiting his sister and they join him.
I know I have some older requests to do, but I don’t have any ideas for those, so I decided to do this instead. I did HCs because it seemed like the easier option, and since I included some stuff from a longer period of time it was just easier. I did this as a reader insert thing, because that’s how I usually write. Hope you like them though
•Your quirk manifested a bit after Katsuki’s did, so you were excitedly expecting to have a similar quirk to his
•But as it turned out, you definitely got the short end of the stick, because you got your father’s quirk but your body wasn’t compatible with it, because you didn’t inherit the protective properties your father had
•So ever since your quirk manifested, you’d been living in a sort of special wing at the hospital, where kids like you could live safely and in conditions that would help them not get hurt by their own quirks
•Katsuki visited you almost everyday, and when him and Midoriya were still friends, he visited sometimes too
•So Midoriya knew where Bakugou disappeared to pretty much every day after school
•You lived as normal of a life as you could, you went to online school that the hospital had organized for the kids in there and stuff like that
•None of his classmates knew about his visits, except for Midoriya, but when the dorm system was implemented, they noticed him leaving the dorms almost every day to go somewhere
•You have a phone of course, so you and Katsuki text all the time, and call when he can’t come visit
•So Mina, Kaminari, Kirishima and Sero decided to follow him one time, and Midoriya tried to tell them not to, so they dragged him with them too
•They tried to get the truth out of Midoriya, because he seemed to know what was going on, but he absolutely refused to tell them, because it wasn’t his secret to tell
•Midoriya didn’t really get why Katsuki was keeping it a secret but still
•So they followed him, everyone else speculated about where he was going and when he went into the hospital, the group was convinced he was seriously ill or something
•The couldn’t really hide anymore when they entered to lobby, so the group pretty much ambushed Katsuki with questions about if he was dying or something
•He of course doesn’t have the patience for that crap so he just shoves everyone out of his way and starts stomping down the hallway
•”Yep he’s definitely hiding something” Mina nods and the others agree
•Katsuki gets about halfway down the hallway, before sighing and yelling, “Are you fuckin extras coming or what?”
•The group looks at each other, before a grin spreads on each of their faces and they run after Bakugou, earning a glare from a passing nurse
•Midoriya is of course happy to see you again, but he doesn’t really know if Katsuki wants him there
•Mina and Kaminari are asking a lot of questions and Kirishima is trying to get them to stop, because he thinks the spiky haired blond will tell them when he wants to
•When the group gets behind the door to your room, Katsuki explains the situation and tells them they’d better behave themselves
•Katsuki is very protective of you, because of your condition and because you’re his sibling
•You’re excited to see him, but you tell him he shouldn’t bring quests without telling you
•He of course tells you “They fuckin followed me, what was I supposed to do?”
•This earns a laugh from you and the group introduces themselves to you
•Midoriya is kind of hesitant about seeing you again, but you’re just happy to see him, because you haven’t seen him in years and you used to be good friends
•The room is very chilly, and Bakugou was the only one who was prepared for that, so they can’t stay long, but they wait outside while you and Bakugou talk
•”I had no idea Bakugou had a sibling, this is a pretty weird way to find out” Kaminari comments
•”Yeah, I wonder why he didn’t tell us” Sero wonders
•”He’s a private person, so is it really that surprising?” Mina continues
•Then they all hound Midoriya for more details, until Katsuki comes out of the room
•You and Midoriya exchange phone numbers, which Katsuki isn’t really thrilled about, but what can he do, you’re just as stubborn as him and he never could tell you what to do
•You also like to remind him you’re the older twin and he should listen to you
•You wave goodbye to everyone and yank Midoriya aside quickly as the others leave
•”Look after Kats, okay? He’s a stubborn idiot and reckless as hell, and he needs someone to watch his back”
•Midoriya just nods and tells you he’ll do his best
•Now everyone has even more questions for Katsuki, because of course they do

Bakugou x Midoriya - Stop Blaming Yourself
Tumblr media
A/N: I have been working on this for a long time but that’s because I haven’t been focusing on writing but I’m trying so I hope this one turned out good
Summary: Bakugou gets angry at himself for All Might’s retirement and is being hard on himself
Relationship: Friends… or just whatever relationship (I don’t know what the right word. Friendly rivalry? Sue me)
TW: Crying and feeling guilty (I don’t know if that’s a trigger warning but I think someone can let me know or whatever)
Lee: Bakugou
Ler: Midoriya
Words: 1,558
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aizawa and All Might stood in front of Bakugou and Midoriya in Gym Gamma. He gazed at Bakugou. “You seem to be showing a lot of anger lately, Bakugou, and it’s getting worse,” Aizawa started. Midoriya fixated his eyes on All Might, wondering what he was doing here along with Bakugou.
“Is there anything you would like to say about it?” Aizawa sounded calm, but he was still irritated that Bakugou and Midoriya fought on training grounds.
“No,” Bakugou said, looking down to his feet. Aizawa sighed quietly through his nose. All Might stepped in and laid his hand on Aizawa’s shoulder. “Why don’t I take care of this? I’m sure you were busy before this incident happened. I’ll take care of it.”
“You sure?” Aizawa asked. All Might quickly gave a thumbs up. “It’s no problem at all!” He replied with a smile. Aizawa rolled his eyes and then walked away.
Once Aizawa was nowhere to be near Gym Gamma, Bakugou’s breath shook. Midoriya turned his head. “Are you alright, Kacchan?” He asked softly. “No,” Bakugou twisted his head the other way so Midoriya couldn’t look at his face.
“Young Bakugou, I understand what your feeling,” “No, you don’t,” Bakugou interrupted All Might with his trembling voice. All Might and Midoriya stared at Bakugou with confusion and disbelief. Bakugou turned back to All Might with tears welling up in his eyes.
“I’ve looked up to you ever since I was a kid, and I told myself if I ever had a quirk, I was going to beat you with everything I got. But now I can’t. You were everything I wanted to be—a hero who is strong and isn’t afraid of anything in his damn life. And it’s all my fault that everything is gone. It’s my fault that this happened to you. You know it, and I know it. I wasn’t even strong enough to defend myself,”
Midoriya couldn’t take it. He couldn’t stand listening to Bakugou like that anymore. He figured he had to do something about it.
“I know I don’t say this a lot, but that’s bullshit, Kacchan,” Midoriya had to get his point straight. Bakugou stood stunned. “If it wasn’t for All Might, you wouldn’t be here right now. He knew he was going to lose One for All, and he did it to save you. He wanted you back just as much as the rest of us. He knew the risk, but it didn’t matter because that’s what a hero does. So please, stop blaming yourself, Kacchan. You know it’s not your fault. I think it’s time to move forward and continue the path to being an inspiring hero.”
Bakugou never wanted to punch that nerd so hard in the face, but in the end, he had to think about it. All Might isn’t really gone. The hero may be gone, but the real All Might is still here. He didn’t know that any of this would happen and took the blame to heart.
Bakugou sniffled and covered his eyes with his forearm. All Might didn’t know what to say for the matter. He thought Midoriya handled the situation well. Midoriya slowly walked up to Bakugou and gave him a side hug. For once, Bakugou didn’t fight Midoriya off of him.
“Alright, you two. It’s best if we head back to the dorms. I’m sure both of you are tired.” All Might suggested. Midoriya let go of Bakugou, and Bakugou uncovered his eyes. “Yeah, sure.”
Bakugou and Midoriya walked side by side with All Might in front. None of them had said much to each other during the walk back to the dorms. Bakugou had his hands in his pockets and cocked his head to the side so no one could see him crying again. The words that Midoriya had to him rang in his hand like a gong, and he cried silently as they walked. Midoriya took notice.
“Kacchan, are you crying again?” Midoriya asked. Bakugou stiffed. “No, I’m not! Shut up, nerd!” He said quickly. “Come on, Kacchan. We already talked about it, and it’s okay, but it’s over now.” Midoriya said, trying to comfort Bakugou.
“I know that, damn it. It just… it just… it hurts still.” Bakugou said so softly that he thought Midoriya didn’t understand what he was saying, but he heard it crystal clear.
“I’m sorry, Kacchan.” “Why the hell are you apologizing?” “Because you’re feeling like this.”
Bakugou looked away from Midoriya. “Whatever. I’ll get over it.” Bakugou only said that to shrug it off, but Midoriya wasn’t going to give up on helping Bakugou.
Midoriya walked closer to Bakugou and poked him on his side. Bakugou jumped and covered his mouth. “What the hell!” Midoriya smiled. “It’s okay, Kacchan. No one else is around. It’s just me and All Might.”
Bakugou blushed underneath his hand. “What makes you think I want to be tickled?!” He asked. Midoriya shrugged his shoulders. “It’s probably what you need to make you laugh.”
All Might had stopped walking in front of them and turned around. “He’s right, young Bakugou. It’s always good to see a hero smile.” All Might added.
“Yeah, Kacchan. It’s okay.” Midoriya started poking his sides some more. Bakugou just stood in one spot and didn’t push Midoriya away. “Wahahahait you dahahahamn nerd!” Bakugou giggled and clutched his arm around his stomach.
“Sorry, Kacchan, but tickles never wait.” Midoriya poked his ribs, earning a squeal from Bakugou. “Dahahahamn it nohohohot my rihihihibs!” Bakugou kept struggling to keep his mouth covered and to stay on his own two feet, but the tickles were trying to bring him down.
Midoriya playfully pouted. “All Might, he’s not showing his smile!” He whined. “I think you can figure it out, young Midoriya!” All Might said. Midoriya nodded and suddenly tackled Bakugou to the ground.
“What the hell was that for?!” Bakugou asked after Midoriya straddled his hips. “Trust me, Kacchan, this is better.” Midoriya didn’t bother to pin Bakugou’s hands and just used both of his hands to squeeze his ribs.
“Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha not my rihihihihihibs! Deheheheheheku!” Bakugou giggled and kicked his legs, but Midoriya kept targeting his ribs. “Just laugh it up, Kacchan.”
“Shuhuhuhuhut uhuhuhup! Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!” Bakugou latched on Midoriya’s wrists and tried to push them away, forcingly to show his wide smile. “There you go, Kacchan!” Midoriya smiled along with Bakugou’s laughter.
Bakugou squirmed side to side, hoping he would throw off Midoriya, but he couldn’t do much from the tickling. “Gehehehehehehehehet off, dahahahahahahamn Deheheheheheheheku!”
“Haha, I wish I can but too bad I don’t want to.” Midoriya smiled as he squeezed Bakugou’s sides, making him arch his back and let out a tiny squeak. “Ah! Deku stahahahap!” “Not yet, Kacchan!”
All Might looked at the dark sky and checked the time on his phone. “Come on, you two! It’s getting close to curfew!” He called out. “I haven’t got to his death spot yet!” Midoriya yelled. Bakugou’s eyes widened, then tried to squirm away while pleading, “No, no, no, no, no, no!”
“Now, now, hold still!” Midoriya grinned widely and shoved his hands underneath Bakugou’s underarms and dug his fingers in the spot below his underarms and the top of his ribs. Bakugou was going crazy.
“AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA DEKU STOHOHOHOHOP! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU KNOW IT TICKLES TOO MUCH DAHAHAHAHAHAHAMN IT!”
Bakugou buckled hysterically and tried to push his arms away, almost causing Midoriya to be thrown off a couple of times.
“Exactly, Kacchan. You seem to be enjoying yourself, though.” Midoriya said with a huge grin on his face.
“I’LL KIHIHIHIHILL YOHOHOHOU! KNOCK IT OHOHOHOHOFF! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!”
“We should get going now, you two! Midoriya, hurry up and wrap it up!” All Might said as he noticed more time had past. “One more second, All Might!” Midoriya insisted.
“NO MOHOHOHOHORE YOU STUPID NEHEHEHEHERD! STOHOHOHOHOP I CAN’T BREATHE!”
Midoriya finally stopped and got off Bakugou's hips as he tried to regain his breath. He had tears welling up in the corner in of his eyes, and his hand clutched over his aching stomach. Midoriya chuckled. "Are you okay, Kacchan?" He asked.
“When we go back… I’m going to kill you.” Bakugou said in between breaths. Midoriya laughed, not taking Bakugou’s puny threat seriously.
Almost getting close enough to the dorms, Midoriya had to ask one more question to Bakugou. “Are you feeling better, Kacchan?”
Bakugou blushed a little, thinking about the tickle attack he endured, but it made him stop thinking about his guilt. “I guess I’m fine,” Bakugou said bluntly. “You don’t need to think about that anymore, Kacchan. It’s always best to move on.” Midoriya said.
“He’s right, young Bakugou,” All Might added. “The incident was not your fault. What’s done is done. There’s no reason to let this blame stick with you,” He laid his hand on Bakugou’s shoulder to give him a sort of reassurance.
Bakugou only nodded without saying a word. “I could let Midoriya convince you a little more if that’s what it’ll take.” All Might snuck his hand to Bakugou’s side and squeezed a few times. Bakugou squirmed away while giggling. “Hahahahahahaha alright, alright! I had enough of the stupid tickling for tonight! I’m going to bed!”
Bakugou shoulder bumped Midoriya out of the way to head up the steps and through the doors. Midoriya and All Might chuckled at each other.
If Shouto had a nickel for every time he had to hide the truth about time traveling kids from his two self-proclaimed best friends so that they didn’t spiral, he would have 1 nickel. Which isn’t a lot, but holy shit someone help him. At least there wouldn’t be anything stopping him from becoming their favorite uncle.
Or
Shouto is the unfortunate soul to encounter two children on the street who seem to have zero idea what time period they are in or where their parents are. All he can deduce with his conspiracy skills is that he can’t let Midoriya or Bakugou know the truth. Meanwhile Izuku and Katsuki fall in love with each other and wherever life is leading.
(UPDATE SEP 9: Sorry something went wrong and I had to reupload/repost!)
Or Read Below!
I love the idea of playing with different quirks and I've always wanted to try my hand at this trope. Domestic fluff and oblivious pining are my two favs. On a different note, I've been told my writing style is unique and not always in a good way. So i'm sorry for the typos, run on sentences, OOCness, and confusion that may occur. English was never my strongest subject, but I just can't help writing my ships! Pls enjoy! This is also my first post on tumblr, so if anyone has any advice about posting/tagging, please let me know!!!
(Sep 9 update: Sorry I had trouble updating something with the fic and had to re-upload it completely :( Sorry if you thought it was another chapter!)
Shouto was still as bad with children at the ripe age of 24 as he was when he was 15. Sure they, like many people, were usually taken aback by his naturally good looks and took a beat to admire him. But right after that beat, children would try to squirm away from him, start kicking him, or flat out cry. That’s how he knew something was wrong. Very wrong.
He sighed heavily as he realized that the two children in front of him were lost. He was on patrol so he couldn’t just leave them… could he? The girl, with her blonde wavy curls tied into haphazard pigtails, was crouching down to talk to a baby on the ground. Said baby was attempting to crawl away, seemingly not liking his sister’s scolding. As Shouto got closer, he could hear her worried mumbles, “Don’t move! It’ll be ok Katsumi don’t be such a cry baby.”
The baby let out an unamused grunt and the girl huffed, “Stupid dumbass brother. Can’t even talk yet.”
Shouto took a hesitant step forward and knelt down next to them, “Are you ok?”
The girl must have been startled because she let out a small squeak and spun around. Seeing her stand protectively in front of her brother with a hand raised to release what Shouto could only assume was a quirk, he realized that approaching a skittish child with her back turned to him wasn’t the best idea.
“Who are you?” She practically growled, trying to sound as intimidating as she could. However, before Shouto could answer her, she jumped in relief, “Pro-Hero Shouto!”
Shouto was flabbergasted, completely caught off guard by the change in demeanor. He was barely able to keep up with the girls rambling as he recovered from shock. Again, kids, even when they recognized him, didn’t act this way after he spoke to them. After he accidentally made her sister cry, Tsu had mentioned that his concerned voice could be misinterpreted as an angry, indifferent one to young children.
“How…how can I help you?” Shouto asked, stiff as a board. It was then that he noticed the toddler… was that thing a toddler? Infant didn’t seem right, but then again the kid didn’t walk yet. He was sure that to be a toddler you had to toddle. Whatever. The smaller of the two children tried to crawl further away so he sat himself criss-cross and placed the boy in his lap. The kid seemed content enough to babble to himself and play with the zipper of Shouto’s jacket so the pro didn’t worry too much about him, placing his attention back on the girl in front of him.
The blonde huffed, “I don’t know where Papa went. He went poof! Daddy’s gonna fuckin be mad if we’re not home in time for dinner. He's been working on it all day! You should come too and play princess with me again! Can I use your phone to ask Daddy? It’s supposed to be a super duper special fucking surprise and I was in charge of making sure that we all got home early. But now I'm lost. The park looks a lot different than it normally does, the fun thing that goes whoosh isn’t here anymore! Where did it go? Katsumi was really excited about it, or as excited as a dumbass baby can b-”
“Please breathe,” Shouto interrupted, seeing the kids face go red, “What do… What do your parents look like? I’m sure they’re looking for you.”
“Papa just got a haircut so it super short in the back but its still super fuckin fluffy on top. I told him it looks like the gross apple cotton candy that we got at the fair and he just laughed at me even though it does!” The girl exclaimed. Okay… so he was going to have to be way more specific.
Just as he was going to ask what color apple cotton candy was (Red? Yellow? Green?), a voice crackled in his earpiece, “Hey Shouto! How are things on your route? I’m about to wrap up over here.”
Shouto had never been happier to hear Uraraka’s voice. Had he ever been particularly excited to hear her voice though? Not that he can recall… but that's so not the point right now. He presses down on the earpiece to respond but the little blonde beats him to the punch, “Uravity! Are you going to come to dinner too? Daddy’s gonna be fuckin mad that i didnt tell him cause we only have four good plates left and Shouto’s comin too. But you can come and it can be a… a secret! I can even use the stupid kiddie princess plate.”
“Shouto? Who was that?”
“It’s Mitsuko! Are your ears fulla dirt or somethin?”
“Mitsuko?” Uraraka made a noise that was half laugh half sputter, “Um.. Sweetie, is Hero Shouto there?”
“I’m here,” Shouto sighed, he was the least equipped person to deal with this situation.
“Todoroki where are you? I’m going to head your way as soon as I finish the rest of this block.”
He relayed his location to her and silently prayed to a God he didn’t believe in that she would get there quickly. The baby, who was previously babbling quietly to himself, started to wriggle. The minute those big green eyes looked into his, Shouto knew he was in trouble. They were growing wider and tears started to pool, making him look utterly pathetic and sad. Shouto started to internally panic when the kid (Katsumi?) let out the loudest wail that he's ever heard. Jesus, this kid's lungs could give Present Mic a run for his money. Shouto fought the urge to cover his ears, especially since the girl started scream crying at the sight of her brother's tears, but then he’d likely drop the baby. Which was both not socially appropriate and would result in more screaming.
“Todor- woah,” Uraraka’s form came into view. She knelt down next to the girl and quickly scanned her for injuries, “What's going on? Is someone hurt?”
“Course I’m not fucking hurt stupid Uravity,” The girl’s sobs started to subside into a small sniffle, “I’m strong and tough!”
“Oh yeah?” Uraraka stood up and then hoisted the girl onto her hip. She then motioned for Shouto to follow suit with the younger child, “Then why are you crying?”
The girl tried smiling, but it looked more like a wobbly line, “M’not crying! See! I’m smiling! My little brother is the one who’s the big cry baby.”
“Well that’s not very nice,” the hero scolded, running her fingers through the girl's hair as a soothing gesture, “Why don’t you explain to me again what happened? Then we can get you back to your parents.”
From what Shouto could gather from the child’s explanation, she was with her dad and brother when someone attacked them and then the kids were suddenly alone in a place they could only half recognize. The park they were previously walking in was different in many ways, but the location and buildings around it were very similar. They must have been hit with a teleportation quirk. Or at least that's what Shouto concludes from the child’s incessant rambling and the multiple tangents.
Urakaka seemed to come to the same conclusion, “So a teleportation quirk? Or maybe a dimension or time quirk, though those are way more rare and definitely less developed.”
“So are you fuckin gonna to help us or not?” the blonde girl crossed her arms and then seemed to remember something, “Please.”
“Y’know, I’m not sure you really know how to use that word to emphasize things yet,” Uraraka giggled to herself. She put the girl down on the ground and took out her phone to type out a message, “She curses as much as I expect little Bakugou did!”
“Yes but she talks as much as Midoriya would if he weren’t as self conscious and spoke up instead of mumbled,” Shouto absentmindedly added.
“Damn. Shots fired Todoroki,” Urakaka paused to raise her eyebrows at the other hero. Todoroki knew that there were no actual shots. He wasn’t deaf and they had talked about the slang term before. Uraraka's eyes went back down to her phone, “Speaking of the wonder dunces, are they still on that undercover mission?”
Shouto had been left out of that one. Despite the trio working together more often than not, their agency thought that it would be better if he acted as the contact and the other two were to go undercover as a dancer-pianist duo. There were serious rumors of villains using the competition as a drug smuggling scheme and they needed more intel before making their next move. He had some thoughts on this, the first being that both of his friends danced like chickens with their heads cut off, while he had years of professional ballroom dance training. Secondly, his two friends were magnets for trouble and attention. Third, Midoriya still tended to slip into a foreign accent when he was nervous undercover. An accent that Bakugou couldn’t resist making fun of him loudly for each time. He really should have been put on the mission with someone like Jirou. But then again, Shouto was happy he didn’t have to go through the hair and makeup process that would make his features less noticeable.
“Yeah,” What day was it? Why did Shouto feel like he was forgetting something? Oh right, “Later today is actually when I’m supposed to go collect them.”
“Ok… so I wont add them to this email chain yet,”  She glanced at the girl who was now drawing something in the dirt with a stick, “But I have a feeling we're going to need the whole class and the commission for this one.”
Shouto’s eyes widened. Beyond a gut feeling of something being off, he didn’t quite understand what about the situation made it different. But if Uraraka thought this called for a code red then this was way more than two missing kids. He definitely was way in over his head.
___
Katsuki could pinpoint the moment when Izuku’s danger sense triggered. They had just turned into the alleyway where Todoroki, posing as a concerned hero that was going to help them find a missing watch, was supposed to pick them up. Who’s bright idea was it to have the pickup spot in an alleyway anyways? Katsuki  just hoped that it wasn’t one of the more suspicious judges from the competition ring.
“Give me your money, a-and clothes!” The man who cornered them in the narrow path shouted. He pointed a gun at them, clearly nervous, “D-do it! Now! Or I’ll shoot!”
Katsuki started stripping off his jacket, playing his part as a pedestrian. This guy probably wouldn’t shoot them, at least not on purpose. Those shaky hands were the only real threat. One wrong move and there was a bullet going somewhere. This was just another fucker that got added to the list of people Katsuki was going to visit when this whole thing was over with. Fuck, the list was getting long. At least it was a rando who wouldn’t recognize them.
“No!” Izuku stood firm, “You shouldn’t be doing this. The police will have to arrest you.”
Of all the times for the damn nerd to have a backbone. Of course it was when he was facing a criminal and he couldn't use his quirk. Katsuki growled, already fed up with the whole situation, “Just do what he says.”
“But Ka-” Izuku turned his head towards Katsuki. He caught the look in his eyes and swallowed. Right. Undercover, “I mean. Oh no! Not my entire life savings!”
Katsuki had to force himself not to yell and blow up  Deku and the poor excuse for a mugger. He hissed in a low voice, “Ya know, for someone who was bullied for most of his childhood, you sure do suck ass at playing the victim.”
“Well excuse me! Maybe you should have been a better bully then,” Izuku started to take off his jacket, throwing it in front of the mugger, “Ever thought of that? Maybe I would’ve actually stayed away from you if your bite was as bad as your bark.”
“Hah? You little masochist, I’ll show you a bite,” Katsuki hissed out, baring his teeth a little. Izuku’s cheeks turned rosy, “Don’t blush at that! It was a threat!”
“As I said,” Izuku at least had the decency to look embarrassed, “Terrible bully!”
“Hey! Stop whispering to each other! Gimme the shirt and pants too!” The mugger’s voice wavered, the gun still hanging precariously from his fingers, “And then turn around!”
Stripping to nothing but their underwear, the pair did as the guy said and turned around. Izuku whispered more discreetly this time, “Are we really not going to do anything?”
“Impulsive as ever aren’t ya?” Bakugou scoffed, whispering back in a barely audible voice, “This guy is hardly a threat. It’s not worth blowing our cover when it’s this close to being over.”
“You’re one to talk. I’m surprised that you haven’t blown this guy up yet,” Izuku pouted, but didn’t make a move to stop the guy when he heard the mugger gathering the items up.
“T-thank you! Please just… count to twenty then you can turn back around,” The guy stuttered out as he presumably left the alley way. They could hear his voice and footsteps receding, “I promise I don't usually do this! Times are just tough right now!”
Izuku signed. He had rotten luck. Of course he would get mugged on the last day of their undercover mission while waiting for their team to pick them up. And of course it was his bad luck that Kacchan was the one dragged along with him. Izuku was unlucky, he was used to being unlucky. Which is why he wasn’t sure if it was his bad luck or maybe some of Katsuki’s unbelievably good luck that Todoroki’s voice was the next one they heard in the alley way.
There was a hint of amusement in his usually stoic voice, “There are less public places to fornicate that won’t get you arrested. This is hardly becoming of two heroes.”
“Fornicate? That fucking word of the day calendar coming in handy?” Katsuki whirled around, angry but not wanting to draw attention to them.
“It is actually,” Todoroki replied in all seriousness. He started to strip off his own jacket and offered it to his friends.
“You’re late candy cane,” Katsuki snatched the clothing from him then shoved it into Izuku’s arms, “What gives? If you were on time like you were fucking supposed to be then that stupid mugger would be caught without our covers being blown.”
“We have to get back to the agency. Uraraka called a code red,” Todoroki started to move out of the alley way and towards the agency car that was parked not too far away, “We can explain more after you guys are showered. It does not seem that urgent.”
“How is a code red not urgent! Is anyone hurt?” Izuku suddenly panicked, “We don’t need to shower first, just tell us what's happening? How can we help?”
“I was told by her that it would be best to show you after you showered,” Todoroki sat down across from the pair in the back of the car. He quickly gave the driver the directions then turned back to them, “We are still unsure of how to proceed, but your hygiene is also important and the situation will not suffer from your short absence. Our old classmates are gathering and theorizing as we speak.”
“Yeah you fucking stink,” Katsuki pulled on Izuku’s cheek, “Your self sacrificing tendencies can wait until after the bath.”
____
When Shouto arrived back at the agency he split off from the other two and made his way to the lounge. Uraraka was seated on one of the couches and was brushing the little girl's hair while she colored and Iida played peekaboo with the baby. The rest of their classmates were nowhere to be seen, which was odd.
“Where is everyone else?” His voice captured all of their attention, his head tilted innocently to the side, “Was this not a code red in the email blast?”
“Everyone else is either still on patrol, talking with the commission about the details, or shopping for our two new guests,” Uraraka explained.
After sitting down on the couch, Shouto scrolled through the emails that he missed while gathering Midoriya and Bakugou. The most recent one was titled: ‘URGENT. READ NOW RE:KIDS IN PARK 0968’. From the commission. Seemed like as good of a source of information as possible.
“I received an email from the commission,” Shouto calmly stated, “Shall I read it aloud?”
“Yes please!” Uraraka waved the hairbrush around, “It’s been an hour since Jirou texted me and all she said was the commission didn’t think it was just a missing kids case.”
Iida lifted his head too in interest, “Yes, but only if it is information that you may disclose to others.”
Shouto didn’t see anything stating that it was private (even if the fact that it wasn’t sent to anyone else heavily implied that it was), so he read the memo aloud, “The hero commission deems this a highly sensitive case. The two subjects, Mitsuko and Katsumi, appear to have been struck with an unknown quirk that alters dimensions and or time. We are requesting that they be placed with at least one hero with undercover training experience at all times and are under maximum surveillance. Discretion is required and it would be best to not ask them invasive questions that can alter the world and or time we are currently in. As he is the one to discover the issue, Hero Shouto will be responsible for the children and vetting who is caring for them and when. There will be more information available as the investigation continues. As of right now, any further questions shall be directed to Hero Shouto or his agency.”
“What! They’re putting all that responsibility onto you?” Uraraka looked upset, “How are you supposed to take care of two kids?”
“Yes, as my mother would likely say ‘you are just a child yourself, what could you possibly know?’” Iida chimed in, scowling at the phone in Shouto’s hand, “You must at least select a partner to help you. We will all take time off if necessary.”
The girl made a face when Uraraka brushed through a knot in her hair, “Ow! That hurt! I’m thirsty, Hero Shouto can you get me somethin to drink before I die of thirst.”
If Shouto learned anything in the past hour, it was that the young girl was nothing if not dramatic. He walked over to the mini fridge in the corner of the room and looked through the contents. There wasn’t much in it considering they just had a large get together.
“How about a beer?” Todoroki noted how little he had in the beverage category specifically, “Protein drink?”
“Todoroki she’s six!” Iida looked scandalized, holding his hands to the babies ears as if he could understand the adults.
“Oh… do children not like those things?”
 Uraraka sighed, “I would ask if you were dropped as a child, but we don’t have time to open that can of worms right now.”
“I wanna beer!” Mitsuko cheered, pulling away from Uraraka, “I want it! I want it! Please!”
“No you don’t honey,” Uraraka pulled the girl back into her lap, “It tastes bad. Todoroki just get her one of Momo’s strawberry milk boxes from the right hand cabinet.”
“I fear that Todoroki is not fit for this task,” Iida sighed.
A voice made all of them jump, “What task?” Mina appeared out of thin air and jumped over the side of the couch. Denki and Kirishima came in quickly behind her with their arms full of bags. They unceremoniously dumped them on the floor by Mitsuko and Uraraka and jumped onto the couch too.
Mina and Uraraka ignored Iida’s protests of ‘don’t jump on the furniture!’ and explained the situation to Mina. Shouto could feed the yellow eyes piercing his skin as he returned with the milk box. Kirishima sighed, “That’s rough bro. What are you gonna do?”
“Tsu has a lot of experience with kids, she could definitely help!” Kaminari reminded them. Yes. Maybe she would be the best one to assist him. He would need to make a schedule for everyone if this was going to work. There was no way that any of them could be off duty for however long this quirk lasted.
“What about Mido and Bakugou?” Mina suggested, tilting her head in a way that made Shouto squirm. She was thinking of something, and he didn’t like that he didn’t know what she was thinking.
Kaminari laughed, “That’s hilarious. Bakugou? With kids? If that happens, I will bet good money that the baby’s first word will be fuck, shit, or damn.”
“You don’t have good money,” Mina rolled her eyes, “I still think they’re a solid choice!”
“Mido made me spaghetti once and  I swear it was an assassination attempt with how badly I got food poisoning. And it was just pasta and sauce from a jar,” Kirishima added.
“The girl already has rather inappropriate language,” Iida shook his head, “Someone with that kind of vocabulary is hardly suitable for a child. And children do need to be fed proper meals that will not get them sick.”
Mina just laughed, “That just means she's used to being around someone who swears! We wanna make them as comfortable as possible. Plus, those two are the only ones with mandatory leave time since their mission is over now. Think about it, Mido is probably super good with kids and Bakugou can cook almost anything. And they live with each other! So there will always be at least one of them home for the kids without having to move them around a bunch.”
That was also true. Shouto knew that the children would likely feel better in a more familiar environment and stable environment. He, unlike his father, read the parenting books that collected dust at their house when he was bored. He never thought that any of the information would come in handy past handling kids in an emergency rescue situation. They seemed comfortable enough right now, but who knows what would happen if this whole situation lasted longer than a day? They would want to be settled and have a sense of routine, or at least that’s what chapter 3 of ‘bringing the baby home’ said.
He was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn’t notice Uraraka and Mina whispering back and forth to each other. Uraraka coughed and set her brush down, “I think that’s a good idea actually. It’ll give those two stir crazy dummies something to do for now. Todoroki I think that you should tell them that's what we and the commission decided. Although… maybe leave out the part about time travel slash alternate dimensions. Yknow, for obvious reasons.”
The reason for that was not obvious to Shouto at all. He must have had a, ‘who? Me?’ face on because Mina just patted him on the back, “Cmon Hero Shouto, you're the one in charge right?”
“I suppose…”
“Plus!” Mina scooped up the squawking child, “Mitsu-chan can hang out with Auntie Mina when she needs to! Right?”
Mitsuko struggled against her hold, “Put me down Pinky! … Please!”
“Pinky?” Mina pouted, tightening her hold, “Aw, can't ya call me Auntie Mina?”
“Papa says that when things are weird we use hero names only until he gives us the secret code word. He said it could be trouble if we used real names or called him papa. And I don't want him to get hurt anymore!” The girl’s eyes started watering, “He always gets hurt! I don’t like it! I don’t wanna!”
“Okay okay!” Mina tried to soothe the child, “It’s okay! You ain’t gotta do anything you don’t want to!”
It was at that moment that Midoriya and Bakugou decided to enter the lounge, both of them freshly showered and confused. Midoriya was the first to recover, a tentative smile on his face, “What’s goin on?”
Bakugou shook his head, “Yeah where’s this fucking code red you were blabbing about?”
“She’s right here!” Mina held Mitsuko out at arms length towards Bakugou, practically dumping her into his arms, “And that one over there pretending to be amused by Iida’s peekaboo face.”
“He is not pretending!” Iida sputtered and held the toddler out to Midoriya. The boy cautiously took the kid into his arms and looked even more confused than before. Both the kids look at them hesitantly as well, not making a single peep. Mitsuko seemed to be biting her tongue and debating on whether or not to say something. She ended up staying silent though, which resulted in a staring contest between her and the two other heroes. That checks out, someone should have probably explained what was happening.
Shouto gave them the gist of what the commission said, minus the quirk part and that he was responsible for where the kids ended up. He instead added, “The two of them have been assigned to you two to take care of during your mandatory leave.”
“Us? As in both of us?” Midoriya’s eyes widened, “Why us?”
“Can you say ‘us’ one more time in that fucking sentence?” Bakugou growled and adjusted the girl on his hip.
Uraraka decided to jump in and save Shouto before he just repeated his sentence again as an explanation, “You guys live together! It’ll be easier that way, and you both have experience undercover now. We’ll all pitch in so it’s not just you two.”
The two boys didn’t look amused.
Mina sighed, “It’ll def help you gain experience to be number one too! Not just anyone can take on this task and the commission trusted you guys to do it. I’d consider myself lucky if they trusted me with it.”
Ah okay. So they were just going to flat out lie now… Shouto could do that. Probably. No Mina was right. His instincts were telling him that lying about all of this to his friends was definitely the way to go.
“Of course they trusted me with this responsibility!” Bakugou huffed, “You people would probably starve these brats or feed them junk!”
Well. That was way too easy to get Bakugou behind it.
“And look Deku!” Uraraka exclaimed, poking at the pudgy toddler’s cheek, “Aren’t they the cutest? They’re young and impressionable minds that need a mentor!”
And just like that Midoriya melted too. He looked at the toddler with big eyes and then over at Mitsuko.
“You look just like Kacchan did when he was little!” Midoriya cooed, eyes scanning her face.
The girls eyes started to water yet again and Bakugou also a closer look, staring into the green eyes filled with unshed tears, “Yeah but she has fuckin water works eyes like yours. What’s with the tears?”
The girl started to wail, the floodgate opening, “No!”
“Oh no, what’s wrong,” Midoriya could feel the panic rise inside of him like it did whenever a child was upset, “Why are you crying?”
“You- you said i look like him!” The girl pointed a finger at Bakugou, her eyes still leaking, “I don’t wanna be ugly!”
Damn. Shouto just witnessed a murder.
“What did you fucking say?!”
___
Katsuki wasn’t stupid. And he, begrudgingly, knew for sure that Deku wasn’t either. The kids were… odd. It was odd. Who in their right minds would trust children to two 25 year olds who risked their lives on a daily basis and had villains coming at them out the wazoo? In the deep crevice of his mind, a thought whispered: Who in their right mind would trust a child to Katsuki Bakugou?
So either whoever it was down at the hero’s commission were in fact not sound of mind when making this decision, or Shouto Todoroki was lying to them for some reason.
The thought of Todoroki getting one over on them, in something other than a fight, somehow seemed more outlandish though. There was no fucking way. The guy spoke his mind in the most monotone, matter of fact voice that would put middle schoolers to sleep faster than a droning principal during an opening ceremony. He didn’t know how to be socially tricky. And if somehow he learned… a shiver ran down Katsuki’s spine. He didn’t want to think of what weird, pretty boy power his former classmate would hold.
So as his classmates piled into his apartment, arms laden with gear for two kids, he just had to accept that this was his fate. He pulled the little girl further into his arms and she snuggled in like she was born to be there. Despite her protests of him looking ugly, she refused to let go of him since she was dropped in his arms. She was sleeping soundly now, as was the pudgy ass toddler in Izuku’s arms. The boy had been quietly babbling himself to sleep for the past hour, outlasting his sister for a good thirty minutes. Mitsuko had dropped like a fly almost immediately after nine and she didn’t even wait for a bed. It was then that he realized he didn’t know where to place her. The crib was being set up in one of their rooms by tweedle dee and tweedle dumb. Probably his room because there was less shit laying around compared to Izuku’s, but did that mean the brat was going to have to sleep in his bed? The sheets were clean since he did them right before their mission, but there were no guard rails or anything. Did someone of Mitsuko's age need those?
He must have sat there on his living room couch lost in thought for a while because he was totally taken aback when Mina gave him a reassuring pat on the back. Before he was ready, the rest of the class was leaving the apartment and wishing them good luck. Were they really all going to leave him here? Not that he needed them…
“You’re over thinking Kacchan,” Izuku walked over and poked the space between Katsuki’s eyebrows, “That’s my job.”
Katsuki scoffed, “Yeah. Let’s get them to bed before they wake up and develop your horrible habit of staying up until the crack of fucking dawn.”
Katsuki tucked Mitsuko in while Izuku got Katsumi to settle down in the crib across from the foot of the bed. Both of them sat down on the edge of the mattress and sighed.
“This is… this is weird right?” Izuku let out an almost hysterical giggle, “What is happening?”
Katsuki must have been tired because he could feel his face relax into a small smile, “Things with you are always weird.”
“That is not true Kacchan,” Izuku flopped down, legs still hanging over the edge and his head barely reaching where Mitsuko’s feet ended, “Things are only weird when both of us are involved.”
“Ok… I’ll give you that one,” Katsuki yawned and laid down next to Izuku, the two of their heads bracketing the girl's feet. He vaguely remembers thinking that one of them was going to get kicked in the face if they fell asleep like that, but it was too far past his bedtime for him to care. As he slipped into sleep he could’ve sworn it was all a dream.
Katsuki was the second one awake. His sleep-addled brain didn’t stop the smile he made at Izuku’s sleeping face in time. He was, however, fully awake as he stared into the green bright eyes of a patiently waiting toddler standing up in his crib. So none of that was a dream.
Okay… he could do this… right? He looked back at Izuku snoozing away peacefully and sighed. At least he wasn’t alone.
____
Shouto couldn’t get Mina’s devilish grin out of his head. He wanted to- No he needed to know why she seemed like a kitten that got milk (was that the right saying?) all night. The only thing his great deductive skills could tell him was that Midoriya and Bakugou could not know more about the kids. He could sense the major freak out that would ensue from a mile away if they knew they were somehow randomly picked to be caregivers.
But it wasn't random… was it?
Mina’s reasoning was sound and Uraraka agreed wholeheartedly with her which put to rest some of his concerns. But why those two? As mentioned earlier by Denki, Tsu would have been the obvious choice if he was going to be the one to choose. And he would rather take on this strange burden given to him by the commission than hand it off to his friends.
Shouto sighed as he sat down on his couch, his head resting on the top of it. He’d have to meet with the commission regularly now until all of this was over. He was hoping that the kids would just disappear by the end of the day and put an end to the mayhem, but it seemed like this quirk had other ideas. Could they really be from a different dimension? Or from the future?
Maybe that’s why Mina was so insistent that Midoriya and Bakugou be the ones to take care of them. She knew what they must have meant to these kids. Maybe uncles? They both had hair only a shade darker than Bakugou’s, but they had Midoriya freckles and eyes…
He met both their families before and he was positive that they were both only children so it wasn’t possible that their siblings got hitched. They’re parents didn’t seem like the type to hide affair children either. The only reasonable explanation, given the existence of quirks, would be-
Shouto almost threw up with the speed that his body lurched upright. No… well… actually that wouldn’t be the craziest thought he’s ever had. He’d have to gain more information first though before he jumped to any conclusions.
His phone buzzed then and he opened an email on the same chain as before from the commission, “We are 99% sure this is the work of a time travel quirk. Hero Shouto please proceed with caution.”
Well, at least he felt less guilty about lying to his best friends faces. He definitely couldn’t tell them any of his theories without causing a catastrophic reaction. He’d just have to see if he was correct in secret. And maybe win the title of best uncle of all time while he was at it.
I'm going to try to update this regularly on a bi-weekly schedule, but I'll let y'all know if that changes! Comments and Kudos are appreciated! I'll try to answer any questions.
Come Back to Me
🌕 🌖 🌗 🌘 🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕
As the man she loves becomes a relentless villain, YN goes to try to pull him back to the light.
🌕 🌖 🌗 🌘 🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕
The world was burning. Days before, many forces of the military and government had struck against the heroes of the world, as well as high ranking villains that were in hiding. Now the world had willfully bent their knees to the monster that was once their enemy: All For One. Many didn’t know how, but he had built himself in the international political world as well as the criminal one. His plan that had multiple contingencies, came to fruition; now many if not all the heroes were dead. And the man YN loved was corrupted by his once enemy.
YN held her head in her hand as her flight got closer to the island where her Fiancé was. Her other hand rested on her stomach while her mind ran through every worst case scenario. She had lost so much hope these past few days, due to her whole world falling apart. YN was a public figure that so many looked up to for support. Being quirkless, she had been the motivation not only for quirkless people but those who had quirks that were usually seen as “worthless”. She had been close friends with Katsuki and Izuku her entire life. Izuku and her being close via the quirkless situation they both grew up in. They became lovers after his 21st birthday. Though the relationship was kept secret because of the many people who could use her or him to hurt the other. They knew they couldn’t keep it secret forever especially since YN had become pregnant. Now he could be dead for all she knew.
Were all her friend’s dead? How many had escaped like Katsuki? The blonde had visited her yesterday asking about Izuku. Saying that he was implicit in the attack against the heroes, and not just the official ones, but the kids in the schools and internships as well. That he had stormed UA and murdered the kids in the hero courses. Then Katsuki asked where YN thought Izuku would go, but she wouldn’t help him. No, she had to see him herself and try to get him back. So she called in a favor from a fellow ambassador to have a plane fly her out to the island where she knew Izuku would be. So YN sat in the cockpit and waited for her Fiancé.
She got up when the figure of Izuku came running down the gravelly runway. The island that was once so lush and beautiful, was now dead and rocky.
“I saw your plane.” Izuku said as he wrapped his arms around her. Both embraced each other passionately, Izuku placing a kiss on her forehead, before he pulled back to look at her. “What are you doing out here YN?”
“I was… I was so worried about you…” YN looked into his manic eyes.
The taller man looked crazed. His once comforting green eyes now held only a possessive gaze as he gripped her upper arms. Hands that once offered loving embraces now offered her nothing but pain to come. Still, YN had to try to get through to him.
“Katsuki.. He told me terrible things.” YN was breathless as Izuku’s finger dug deeper.
“What things?” Izuku gritted out.
“He… he said you’ve become a villain…That you murdered those children at UA..” YN’s eyes began to tear up, looking at his face for any sign of denial or trace of that sweet boy she knew.
“Bakugou is trying to turn you against me.” Izukusaid gravely. Not kacchan, not even katsuki, Bakugou.
“He cares about us. “ YN tried to reason.
“Us?” Izuku asked. Wondering if YN had betrayed their relationship to his once friend and now enemy.
“He knows. He wants to help you.” YN placed her hands on his freckled cheeks. Pleading with her eyes to come back. “Zuku… all I want is your love.”
“Love won’t save you YN! Only my new strength can do that.” Izuku pleaded right back. His hands come up to hold hers.
“At what cost though? You’re a good person, Izuku. Please don’t do this!” YN was close to tears.
“I won’t lose you like I’ve lost so many others. I am becoming more powerful than any hero or villain could ever dream of, and I’m doing it for us. For you. To protect you.” Izuku was steadfast and determined in his resolve. YN tried one last effort as she placed her forehead against his.
“Come away with me. Right now. Help me raise our child. Marry me. Let’s leave everything else behind while we still can.” YN bore her soul to her love, her eyes trying to search his for a trace of his reason or heroism.
“Don’t you see YN! We don’t have to hide or run away anymore.” Izuku furrowed his brows as he stretched a smile, trying to calm her. “I have brought order and justice to this world by removing corrupt heroes. I am more powerful than All For One. I…. I can overthrow him. And you and I can protect and rule the world; make things the way we know they should be.”
YN backed away slowly. Her eyes wide with shock and sadness. He wasn’t Izuku anymore.
“I don’t… I don’t believe what I’m hearing. Katsuki was right… You changed…” YN whispered, her terrified face making Izuku’s smile drop as he began to frown.
“I don’t want to hear anymore about BAkugou.” Izuku clenched his fists, black whip emanating from him. “The heroes.. Our ‘friends’ turned against me. Don’t you turn against me!”
“I don’t know you anymore….Izuku…. You’re breaking my heart…” YN started to sob, seeing no love in his eyes as he looked ahead of her. “You’re going down a path I can’t…I won’t follow.”
“Because of Bakugou.” Izuku deadpanned as he looked above her at the plane, where his once friend started to walk out of.
“Because of what you’ve DONE! What… What you PLAN to do!” YN grabbed his hand, tears streaming down her face as she begged him to stop. “Please! Stop! Stop now…come back! I love you ‘Zuku!”
 “LIAR!” Izuku shouted, turning to her, paranoid and enraged at the sight of Bakugou.
 Anger blinded his reason and love as he glared from her to Bakugou. The look made YN turn to see her friend, shocked that he followed her. And afraid that he was here to kill Izuku. But also terrified that Izuku was going to assume the worst was happening between them.
“no…. No!” YN pleaded. Looking between them.
“You are with HIM! You brought him here to KILL ME!” Izuku shouted, his now electric green eyes flashing with fury. As he finished his sentence, Izuku wrapped his black whip around her neck and lifted her up.
“Let her go Deku!” Katsuki growled as he made his way closer. Trying not to make him kill her in a fit.
“Izuku….” YN whispered and pleaded. Her teary eyes looked into his.
“Let. Her. GO!” Katsuki growled and spat.
His underlying threat and anger finally made Deku turn his attention to him as he let his once love go. The rush of oxygen back into her lungs and brain immediate;y making her pass out as she hit the floor unconscious.
“You turned her against me!” Deku shouted.
Katsuki glared at his once friend. Both reflected each other’s anger as they circled the other. Both daring one another to make the first move.
“You did that yourself!” Katsuki shouted right back. This sending Deku even further into his fury.
 “YOU will not TAKE her from me!” Izuku screeched. Radiance of his power whipping all around him.
“Your actions, your lust for power have already done that!” Katsuki bit back at him. “You allowed these villains to twist your mind until now…” Katsuki looked at YN’s unconscious form, his gaze slightly softening before he turned it back to Deku. “Until now, you became the thing we swore to end!”
Deku scoffed and smirked at his friend, mockingly.
“Don’t lecture me about my violent actions. I have seen through the lies in the hero commission. I don’t fear needing to finally do what has to be done. I don’t fear my power!” Deku bragged as he turned away from Katsuki.
“I have brought Freedom, Justice, and Security to my new world!” That made Katsuki stop.
“YOUR new world?!” Katsuki was astounded at what his friend had become.
“Don’t make me kill you.” Deku warned.
“Deku.. My allegiance, my fight is for the people. For their freedom! I am supposed to stop the bad guy!” Katsuki tried to reason.
“If you are not with me… Then you are against me, Bakugou.”
Katsuki clenched his fists at the use of his family name. No love, no comradeship left. Katsuki realized that his friend had been consumed by evil.
“I knew you would become a villain.” Katsuki reserved his duty. “ I will do what I must. Deku.”
“You will try.” Deku taunted back.
A tense moment passed between them. Katsuki spared one last look to the girl he had grown up with, distressed and angry at what Deku had done. So he snapped his gaze back to Deku. They both inhaled; then Deku jumped back to attack his former friend.
Both determined to be the winner.
🌕 🌖 🌗 🌘 🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕
Yeah this is just essentially that Mustafar scene from star wars but with Deku x Reader but with some minor adjustments. I think it’d be tragic if that happened. I don’t claim ownership of the scene’s dialogue. If you want to check out the original scene, go watch Revenge of the Sith.
part one// part two// part three// part four// part five// part 6// part 7// part 8// part 9// part 10// part 11
Bakugou woke up, hours later, the mall was closing and the sound of the sweeping broom woke him up from his slumber. His eyes flew open and he darted up suddenly, he tried to stand, but he needed to brace himself on the wall.
His head was still throbbing, but Y/N packed quite a hefty punch. He walked outside and saw Denki who had a phone to his ear and was looking around. He found what he was looking for and  ran to Bakugou.
“ What happened to you man? Where is Y/N?”
Bakugou didn’t respond, just looked around like a lost toddler.
“ I was worried about you man, I’ve been calling you for 4 hours.”
“ I uhhh... I lost my phone.”
“ You lost your phone?” he repeated. Bakugou has always been a rotten liar. He knew exactly where that phone was.
“ Yeah.. we need to get back to campus. Were gonna miss curfew.” he stated, like it was the simplist thing in the world.
“ Bakugou what the hell?” Denki wanted awnsers.
“ I’ll tell you everything that happened later, I gotta tell Aizawa.” he stated. “ Lets roll out.”
And with that the pair began the walk to UA . Once they arrived Denki headed straight to the common room, and Bakugou went to tell his teacher what he saw. And that Y/N, was alive and well. Because up until 5 hours ago, he assumed that she was dead.
“ Umm... can I talk to you for a minute professor Aizawa?” Bakugou asked. He quietly knocked on the door, and gently pushed it open.
“ Is it an emergency, because I have important things to be doing.” He presumably just got back from somewhere. He was setting his bag down on his desk and taking off a pair of large sunglasses. His voice was quiet and stable, he looked to be almost bored.
Bakugou stuttered for a few seconds.
“ Well spit it out kid, I don’t have time-”
“ I saw Y/N-” he blurted out. Aizawa’s head lifted up and he looked delighted for a second.
“ You saw Y/N?” he repeated like it was too good to be true. “ Where?”
“ Yeah I did, we were at the mall and-”
“ Was she okay, was she with anyone?”
“ I don’t know, as soon as we saw each other she took off.”
“ I assume you went after her?”
“ Yeah, I did.” he spoke, he almost looked ashamed of himself. “ I let her get away again. She slipped righ-’
“ Did she look injured?” Aizawa asked, and even though he just got back he began to pack his bag. He opened his desk drawer, and pulled out a file before he put his bag.
“ I don’t think so.”
“ Did she say anything else?”
“ She just told me to leave, before I got hurt.” he paused. “ I think.. she seemed scared.”
“ Bakugou it is extremely important that you  tell nobody about Y/N. That includes Kirishima. Do I make myself clear?”
“ Yes sir.”
“ I will deal with Kamanari later. I have to go.”
And with that Aizawa brushed right past Bakugo and out the door, his bag lazily thrown over his shoulder. He had a determined look in his eye, its almost like he forgot Bakugou was in the room, he was on a mission. He made it almost all the way out of the door, and halfway into the hallway before he  the confused looking boy in his office.
“ Thank you Bakugo... for telling me.” he spoke. He walked closer to him and put a hand on his shoulder. “ You did the right thing.”
Bakugou turned away, unable to look him in the eye. Aizawa nodded and began to leave. But he got the sinking gut feeling that he wasn’t being told the whole truth.
“ You are telling me everything, right?”
“ Yes sir, I am.” He stated all to quickly to be seen as normal. Aizawa would have pressed the issue further, but he didn’t have the time, He had more pressing things to deal with.
Bakugou left his teachers office in a daze, and the next thing he knew was that he found himself in the common room. He didn’t even remember walking there, he just somehow found himself there, walking towards Deku.
He didn’t know why he was going towards him, but he didn’t stop himself either. Bakugou could have probably just made the smartest and the stupidest thing he’d ever done, and he’d need help digging himself out of a hole. Deku was the only person he could think to ask.
But before he could interrupt Deku, who was engrossed in a conversation with Denki and Todoroki, he was pulled away by Kirishima and pulled into a quiet corner of the room.
“ What the hell-”
“ She’s alive.” Kirishima stated. He had grabbed Bakugou by the shoulder and was looking at him with such intinsity that he almost exploded.
“ What?” he tried to lie, but he couldn’t seem to manage.
“ Y/N’s alive. Don’t lie to me, please.”
“ Yeah... yeah she is.”
Chizuru Protection Squad
Summary : You and Bakugou have been married for a while now but you haven’t been blessed with any child. Bakugou gave an option to adopt a child while waiting for miracle. How can you say no?
Pair : Pro Hero!Bakugou Katsuki x Pro Hero!Reader
Genre : Fluff
Warnings : nothing(?)
A/N : I saw a lot of spy x family spoiler and decided why not make one inspired from Anya’s life in my style of course. I haven’t watch the anime though so it’s definitely not accurate. Also I don’t know how adoption process is in Japan so please do tell me if there’s something wrong with the process. Also a little bit fun fact, I actually have to asked my crush for the child name… lmao 💀
Wc :  1,6k+
Being a pro hero have their own pro and cons. One of the cons is that you have less time for your family. And that’s the main reason why both of you and Bakugou having a hard time to try for a baby.
It’s not like you never try. You actually tried for a several times already but you still haven’t got the miracle yet. There’s time when you feel so insecure and bad because you can’t give Bakugou a child yet. But he always reminded you that having a child together with you is just a bonus.
When he go down on his knee to asked your hands in marriage, his purpose is to live the rest of his life together with you. So you are very grateful to be blessed with a good and understanding husband like him.
But even with your understanding husband there’s still insecurities locked at the back of your mind. Insecurities that make you unconsciously touch your stomach when you see a pregnant woman. Insecurities that make you stare at the both of your hands when you see a mother holding her child when you were on patrol.
And Bakugou well aware with all of that. It’s not just once or twice he saw you did that unconsciously. He can’t help to feel sad either. Oh how he wish he can erase those frowns and silent tears that he’s aware yet you try to hide from him.
So one day he decided to asked you if you want to adopt a child. You of course are delighted and happy with that idea. So with that Bakugou decided to bring you to the orphanage.
Bakugou secretly watching you as you both went to the orphanage. Your eyes twinkles with excitement and your smile itself manage to put Bakugou’s heart at ease.
“Oh, welcome, Mr. Bakugou and Mrs. Bakugou. What can I help you for today?” You shyly smiled when one of the nanny in the orphanage call you with your husband’s last name.
“Hello, we want to adopt a child.” Bakugou spoke. His hand never left your waist as your eyes busy watching the children playing with each other at the backyard. The nanny smiled when she knew your purpose to come here. She quickly guided both of you to the backyard to see the children.
“So do you want a daughter or a son?” Your eyes are too focused to the laughing children that you didn’t realize the nanny asked a question. Bakugou quickly tap the side of your ribs as you jolted from your place.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t quite catch your question. What is it again?” the nanny smile as she realized how bad you want to have a child. She patiently repeat her question.
Your eyes went wide for a bit as yourself are very sure want to have a daughter. But you have to asked what’s on Bakugou’s mind too about this. So you move your eyes to find his.
“Baby, I will let you choose whoever you want to adopt. They still gonna be our future child so I don’t really care what their gender is.” Your eyes glossy as your lips trembled. You quickly pull your husband to a hug to hide your tears.
“Can we just watch for a while? We want to see those kids first.” You said after you finally finished with your crying episodes. The nanny nodded her head before she leave both of you to watch the kids playing.
You let out a sigh as you let yourself lean on Bakugou’s strong body. His hand automatically wrapped around you and pull you closer. Both of you decided to watch the kids for awhile before soft sobs coming out from your lips.
Bakugou look down in panic. Scared that bring you to the orphanage is a bad idea. He tilted your face up to face him and busy wiping your tears away.
“Princess, what’s wrong?” Bakugou look at you worriedly. You just shook your head before you push your face to his neck.
“I just… feel sad because these kids are very unlucky to stay in here. Without parents to give them love.” You continue to sobs. Bakugou softly rubbed your back as his eyes staying at the backyard.
Suddenly there’s one girl come to both of you. Her small hand poked your knee softly try not to scare you. You look down and see a 6 years old girl handing you her pink handkerchief that have small pomeranian embroidery on the corner. And a Pomeranian stuff doll to you.
“Are you okay?” her small and soft voice ranged in your ears. You smile a little as you wipe your tears with her handkerchief.
“I’m okay, little girl. What’s your name?” you give your hand to handshake with hers. Her vermilion eyes which remind you with Bakugou’s eyes stare at your hand before she reached it.
“Chizuru.” She simply answered. She then moved her eyes to Bakugou. Which Bakugou look back. Suddenly she stepped on one of his foot. Bakugou jolted up not in pain but in surprised as Chizuru stood between you and Bakugou.
“Don’t hurt her.” She spoke. Bakugou look at her confusedly.
“I’m… not?” he slowly answered. Chizuru looked at him doubtfully before she let out a huff and face you. An irk mark showed on Bakugou’s forehead.
He was about to scold the child before your small chuckle stop him. He watched you softly patted Chizuru’s hair as you hand her stuff doll back. Chizuru looked sceptical at first but she gave up and let you play with her white hair.
“He’s not hurting me, Chizuru. He is in fact try to calm me down. I feel sad a little but I’m okay now.” Bakugou observed the scene unfold in front of him. In his eyes Chizuru is pretty small for a 6 years old girl but yet her skill to understand what you said seems better than any 6 years old kid.
“Chizuru? What are you doing?” Chizuru pulled her body away from you when she heard the nanny call her name. She look at you sadly before she slowly run back to the backyard. You looked at her and realized that she sat alone at the side of the backyard.
“Are you okay? Did Chizuru do something to you?” you looked at the nanny confusedly before you shook your head.
“Actually she came to me to comforted me.” The nanny look at you confusedly. Bakugou feels something not right with whatever happened in front of him.
“Can we talk about that kid?” he suddenly asked. You snapped your head to his direction. The nanny hesitantly nodded her head before she told the both of you to a more private place.
.
.
.
“Her name is Chizuru as you already know. She’s 6 years old according to the data we have. But the thing is… she had been fostered for two times and she always return to this orphanage. Due to her temperamental issue. I don’t think Chizuru is the right one for you both.” You shook your head vigorously completely disagree with the nanny.
“I think it’s the foster’s family problem. Not her. Don’t you heard what I just said back there? She come to me to comforted me. I see no issue other than how she seems hesitant to let people come closer to her.” You almost went rampage if Bakugou not holding you down. The nanny look at you in surprised. Her mouth closed and opened for several times but nothing came out.
“Look, I don’t know what the fuck happened with Chizuru before but one thing for sure I know is that she’s indeed a good child. And I don’t think her having temperamental issue is a reason for you to give up on her.” Your eyes went blurry as tears pooling on the corner of your eyes. Bakugou frown a little as his hand rubbed your back.
Bakugou then take a deep breath as he stared down at Chizuru profile papers. His eyes move between you, the papers, and the nanny for a couple time before he finally push the papers away from him and then looked at you in the eyes.
“Do you want to adopt her?” Bakugou asked. You blinked as you turn your head to him.
“Can we?” you asked. Bakugou nodded his head as he put his arm around your shoulder.
“Of course we can.” And with that you and Bakugou start to take care Chizuru adoption documents.
.
.
.
“Okay then with this, both of you are legally become Chizuru’s guardians.” Happy tears fall down from your eyes as the nanny bring Chizuru to you and Bakugou. Her vermilion eyes stare at yours and Bakugou.
“Hey kid.” Bakugou crouch down so he can see her eye to eye. His vermilion eyes stare deep to hers. He softly patted her head try not to scare and make the little girl run away from him.
“From now on you are Chizuru Bakugou. I’m your dad and she’s your mother.” You crouch down beside him. Chizuru stayed still as her grip on her stuff doll tighten.
“Chizuru?” you called her softly. Suddenly she jumped to both of you. If Bakugou didn’t support you by holding your back, you already fall. You carefully stand up with Chizuru in your arms.
“Papa. Mama.” Her soft voice become quieter as she planted her face to your neck. You silently cry as you feel like your family is complete. Bakugou smile before he pulled his girls into his arms. He softly kissed Chizuru’s head before he kissed you on the lips.
“Let’s go home.” Chizuru let out a shy smile as she nodded her hair.
And for the first time in your marriage life, you never feel more happier than this.
Keep Watching. Ch 1
What is it that makes a hero?
Chapter 1
I couldn’t believe my luck. It was when no grownups were around, was when these 2 damn fourth graders decided to pick a fight with me. The skinnier one punched me in the face. All while the fat one held me. As my face was hit, I tried with all my might to swing my body forward, landing a good kick at the skinny’s gut. “Damn, brat!” I threw my head back, hitting the fat one’s jaw. It was then I was free.
Now that I had my footing, I turned around and hit the fourth grader in his fat stomach. He stumbled back, and I could hear the other one come towards me. I avoided his punch in time and kicked his leg as hard as possible. That kick made him fall to his knees. Taking that as my chance, I punched him in the face. Then the fat one went over to the skinny one’s side and tried to help him up. “Just you watch! I’m going to tell my big brother!”
I held my head high as I stood before them. “You’re the one who picked a fight with me.” With that, the fourth graders ran off. I tried to wipe away the tears I knew I had. And suddenly, Kato and Saito came from around the corner. Were they there the whole time? And didn’t even try to help me? I bet they were hiding in fear. That’s so pathetic.
As Kato and Saito discussed how cool I was, I felt like someone else was watching. I looked behind me and faintly saw someone peeking from behind a nearby lamppost. But I ignored that as I brought my focus back to my friends. Before long, I finished walking back home.
The next day at daycare, I noticed the quiet kid kept looking my way. I wonder why. Especially when they always turned away when I looked at them. It went like this all the way until it was time for recess. We were allowed into the playing yard, and I walked over to the tree at the far end. Sitting under the tree, I watched the rest of my class play.
It has been like this for as long as I can remember. Nobody ever wanted to play with me. That’s fine with me. I don’t need anyone. No matter how lonely I felt. They’re all cowards because I’m stronger than them. “Um.” I was quickly brought out of my thoughts and looked up next to me. It was the quiet kid. He was fidgeting with his fingers as he mumbled.
“What did you say? I can’t hear you.”
He put his arms at his side, and I saw tears falling down his face. What was his problem? At that, his face was super red. “You were so cool yesterday.” He then covered his face with his hands.
I quickly stood up and tried to remove his hands from his face. We then were looking at each other's eyes. And for some reason, my face felt hot. “What do you mean by yesterday?” He started to mumble again. “What?”
“I saw you yesterday. You looked so amazing fighting those fourth graders. You were like a superhero.” That’s when he started to look down, and more tears formed. He sure cries a lot.
“My name is Bakugou Katsuki. What’s yours?” At that, he lifted his head, and our eyes met again. Then I noticed his bright green eyes and freckles that made his face look like strawberries with his red cheeks. His cheeks seemed so pinchable. “What’s your name?”
“My name is Midoriya Izuku.” He then looked back at the ground; I wondered why. I let go of his hands and grabbed his face, making him look up. He started to mumble.
“Were you the one behind the lamppost?” Izuku made a small squeak as he tried to answer me. He’s so cute. “Are you only talking to me because I won against those fourth graders?”
I let go of Izuku's face and watched as he rubbed his cheeks. “Yes, but also, I wanted to know if you were ok. You seemed to be hurt.” Why did that make my chest hurt? I tried to ignore it as I smiled.
“I’m perfectly fine. Those fourth graders didn’t know who they were messing with.”
That’s when Izuku grabbed my face. “You’re so amazing, Kacchan.” Kacchan? Before I could say anything, recess was over, and we had to return to the building.
During the walk home, I faintly heard something. It sounded like a fight was going on up ahead. I don’t know why, but I ran toward the noise. Before long, I spotted the fourth graders from last week beating up someone. I quickly hid behind a lamppost. While peering around the pole, I saw who they were beating up. It was the boy that always sat alone at recess.
I watched how one fourth-grader held onto the boy while the other punched him. That was until I saw the blonde boy do something so amazing. He kicked one of the fourth graders and headbutted the other. It soon went from the fourth graders beating on someone smaller than them to getting their butts beaten.
As I watched in amazement, I could faintly see how the boy had tears. Yet somehow, he was able to win and have the older kids crying. He was so cool, just like All Might. I wanted to say hi, but then the two mean kids from daycare showed up. So, I decided to stay away. I don’t think it would be a good idea if I went over now. With that, I’ll wait until they leave so I can finish walking home.
As I waited, I couldn’t stop admiring the blonde boy. But then he looked back in my direction. I got scared and tried to further behind the lamppost. And when I took a peek, I saw they were walking away. Once they were far enough is when I started again to walk home. It didn’t take long for me to catch up and realize they lived near my home. But thankfully, they made a left when I had to take a right.
All I could think of while finishing my walk home was that fight. Besides seeing the blonde boy winning against the fourth graders, I could stop thinking about how he was crying. Not to mention, he looked in pain. That’s when I promised to work up the courage and speak to him. And maybe we could also be friends.
At daycare, I couldn’t help but keep looking his way. Yet I would quickly look away whenever he turned to me. And for some reason, I felt dizzy as my cheeks began to burn. It was so hard to pay attention throughout the day. All because I could only think about how I would confront him during recess. Especially when I wasn’t sure if he’ll be alone as always or if I would have to speak in front of many people. I’m so scared.
But it was just my luck when I saw the blonde boy heading off alone, like always. I took a deep breath as I made my way over to him. It also was a relief when no mean kids paid attention to me. And the closer I got to the blonde boy, the more my face was on fire. The moment I reached him, I couldn’t help noticing his sad look.
“Um.” The moment the blonde boy looked at me, I couldn’t take it. So, I looked at my feet and started to cry. What was I even doing? He properly won’t even talk to me. This is hopeless. “This is stupid. This stupid.”
“What did you say? I can’t hear you.”
That’s when I looked back up and saw him staring at me. I can’t believe I’m doing this, but I must be brave like a hero. “You were so cool yesterday.” Oh goodness! I spoke to him. I quickly covered my face as I tried to hide the fact I was crying. That was until I felt something trying to move my arms down.
When my hands no longer covered my face, I was met with shiny red eyes. “What do you mean by yesterday?”
My whole body felt on fire when I realized how close he was to me. But I tried to keep it together. “I saw you yesterday. You looked so amazing fighting those fourth graders. You were like a superhero.” I then watched how a smile grew across his face, which was amazing. So amazing that I couldn’t help but cry.
“My name is Bakugou Katsuki. What’s yours?” I couldn’t believe what I just heard. So, I looked up in the hope I wasn’t dreaming; thankfully, I wasn’t. I was just speechless. “What’s your name?”
“My name is Midoriya Izuku.” This was more than I thought would happen. Kacchan was not only talking with me but also super close. Then my face felt hot again, and I quickly looked back at my feet. That was until Kacchan grabbed my face and made me look up. “Oh goodness. Oh goodness.”
“Were you the one behind the lamppost?” Oh goodness! He saw me. “Are you only talking to me because I won against those fourth graders?” When Kacchan asked that, his smile disappeared; I only saw sadness. I don’t like that face on him.
What could I say to make Kacchan smile? And was he rubbing my cheeks? “Yes, but also, I wanted to know if you were ok. You seemed to be hurt.” I couldn’t tell if he was happy or sad at that moment. But he stopped rubbing my cheeks momentarily, and it felt weird without it. Then he smiled again, but his eyes still looked sad. I didn’t like any of that.
“I’m perfectly fine. Those fourth graders didn’t know who they were messing with.” Oh no! Now I recognize that face. It’s almost like the face my mom had when she told me that my dad went away for a job in the States. I don’t like this. What can I say to make Kacchan feel ok?
I quickly grabbed his face. “You’re so amazing, Kacchan.” He had that paused face again before smiling with his face and eyes. I like this face. It makes me happy. He then started to make the movement to say something, but we were suddenly called back from recess.
The rest of the daycare seemed to go by quickly. And when it was time to change out our school, I noticed how the other boys went to talk with Kacchan. They seemed to be happy talking to each other. It made me feel sad and wonder if I was Kacchan’s friend. But my wonder quickly went away when Kacchan and the boys came over to me. At that, I felt scared since the other two had picked on me a few times.
“That’s such a cool All Might shirt.” Why was my face burning up, and my heart seemed to be in my ears?
“Thank you.”
“We’re heading to the store. Want to come with us?”
“Why are you inviting him?” I looked at the other boys. They had those mean faces from the other day. But when I looked back at Kacchan, he was smiling at me.
“Because I said so.” At that moment, my face felt on fire, and I was so grateful. We soon ran out of the daycare and were on our way. As we walked, I followed behind the others. Even when the other two kept getting in my sight, I could only focus on Kacchan.
While we walked to the store, Kato and Saito kept saying things about Izuku. Stuff like how he’s such a crybaby and wonder why I asked him to come with us. Even asking if I was pitying him. Especially with them saying how they heard he was fatherless. Even though I was laughing along, it all felt wrong. But what else was I supposed to do? And whenever I looked back, I was met with Izuku’s eyes, and the bad feeling worsened. What is this feeling?
We soon came across a group of people standing around the TV shop. To my great joy, they showed how All Might defeated yet another villain. He was so amazing, and I cheered. Then I looked to my right and saw Izuku was there and cheering as well. Seeing how happy he was made this moment feel incredible. I wonder how I would be able to always see that smile.
After cheering with Izuku over how amazing All Might was and wanting to be the number one hero myself, is when the regular news came back on. So, we started off to the store again, and I realized something. It was the first time I talked about something I liked with someone and wasn’t told to stop. It was a wonderful feeling. Especially with Izuku smiling as we excitedly spoke about All Might. We continued talking all the way to the store.
It wasn’t until we got our hero snacks that I realized that me and Izuku weren’t alone. I completely forgot that we were also with Kato and Saito. But at this moment, I didn’t care. I was having fun with someone who shared my excitement over my favorite hero. And when we opened our hero snacks, we saw it came with a card pack. I stood in front of Izuku. “Let’s open it together.”
“Yeah!” With that, we opened our packs, and to our surprise… “We got the same All Might card! This is so cool, Kacchan!”
“Hell yeah!” Today just keeps getting better. I looked at my card and wondered if I’ll ever get a chance to get it autographed by my hero. And when I looked over to Izuku, my excitement grew as I saw him hugging his card. Today was just perfect.
More than fun and games | Kirishima x Gamer Reader x Bakugou
Summary: you just got home after a long day, glad to finally sit down to game for a while, although your partners seemed to miss your presence a bit too much
Warnings: -
Word count: 1571
Ship: (POLY) Kirishima x Bakugou x Gamer GN Reader
(I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE PICTURES I USE NOR THE CHARACTERS. CREDIT TO THE ANIME AND ARTISTS! Requests in comments)
You had so many classes. So many hours wasted on stuff you won't even use, like- ever! Piles of papers full of difficult tasks, that are harden than what you were actually learning. Was it worth it? Who knows.. Even then, you had two extremely lovely boys to come home to, and a good setup to spend your time on. Well, it was all good until you decided to sit down, turn your device, open your game, and get a update note. "12 GB!? Are you freaking kidding me!?" You said out loud, groaning as you sank into your seat. It took you a minute but came to the conclusion, that playing a different game could be just as good. You open click on the icon, the game starting with the credits and tips, loading in. "Baaaaby" Kirishima cooed, creeping into the semi lit room. "what-chu dooooing?" he asked, talking with a kind of baby voice. He began to walk towards you, glancing at the screen. "oooh, you're gonna play?" he asked, making you nod in agreement. "yep" From such a short reply he knew you had a hard or at least a long day. "want me to get you something to snack on? maybe a drink?" He asked, pointing his thumb backwards behind his back in the kitchen's way. "I'm good, thank Ei" You replied, getting a few settings set up for the game. You saw a character appear on the screen, beginning to play. "oookay then" He said, hesitant about leaving you to just play. "you sure you don't need anything?" He asked, hinting at the usual welcome home kiss. You didn't give him one, nor your other partner in that matter, although you gave them one each, even when you were frustrated, tired, happy, sad, just always. He assumed something was up, something extremely serious. "no, thank you" you confirmed your previous answer, making him pout as he walked away from the living room. "alright then" he muttered, walking away to talk to Bakugou. You were pretty much focused on your game, sitting on the edge of the couch as you leaned forward, eyes fixed on the screen in front of you. "oi, shitty hair" Bakugou called from another room, talking his voice muffled to the point his words weren't understandable. Your whole attention went back to the background music of your game, blocking out that familiar raspy voice.
After a few hours, your boyfriends got into the room, sitting down on both sides, real close to you. They didn't say a thing just watched your game, glancing at your face from time to time. Bakugou had enough of the awkward silence, speaking up first. "what the hell's going on?" His voice was mildly annoyed, his anger showing clearly in his voice. "what" you replied, your attention still on the game. He scoffed, Kirishima clinging to your left arm, hugging it to himself in a way. Bakugou wanted to reply to your careless answer, but Kirishima beat him to it. "Is something wrong baby? You seem a bit..        ......distant." He said, his cheek pressed against to your shoulder, making it look all puffy. "You've been playing this shitty game for hours" Bakugou commented, leaning back on the couch. You sighed as you paused then saved the game. It took you a minute but you managed to turn it off quite quickly. "I just had a long and tiring day" You replied, glancing at Bakugou first, then at Kirishima who seemed to hold more of you by each second that passed. Your body was aching as you let your back press against the soft sofa. "Want us to help you with that? We could eat, take a hot bath, watch something, or cuddle!" He said, quite happy that he managed to hold you by your waist, cuddling you already in that way. "He's right. If only you'd open your big mouth at times like this, we could actually help you" Bakugou agreed with his lover, his warm hand slowly taking a hold of yours. "fucking christ, are you always this fucking cold?" He said a bit louder, taking both of your hands to cage into the warmth of his own. "I swear to god...." He muttered, making Kiri giggle at it. "oi! Stop laughing! Help warming them up instead shitty hair!" He scolded him, making his laughter even louder and more sincere. "ouch man, leave my hair alone" he let his laughter die down, taking a hold of you in a way he could lift you up. "Let's take a hot bath then. It'll warm you up for sure." He suggested, lifting your body up, like it was nothing.
The three of you made it into the bathroom, fitting a bit too tightly into the tub. "Your leg is in the way" Bakugou complained, leaning into Kirishima's embrace. You were sitting in the hot head's lap, him sitting between the red head's legs. "Well, can't really put them anywhere else Katsuki" He replied, his arms capturing the male between his legs quite nicely. "Quit fighting 'Tsuki, we know you like the affection we give you" You told him, turning your head to the side to glance at him. His pout and piercing red eyes met yours, eyebrows furrowed. "Whatever..." He admitted defeat that way, his arms tightening around your bare torso. Cuddling in the bathtub like that was one of his favorite things to do. It was intimate, but not dirty, just gentle touches, closeness, affection, and pure love. Moments like that made your relationships stronger. So, being there with the two was actually relaxing, the comforting silence giving your mind a break. Your ears and eyes adapted to the screen and noises when you were gaming, although whenever you took a break from it, you noticed how noisy and bright it actually was. You felt Katsuki's hand grip onto your chest and side, whatever he could reach to make sure you wouldn't get away from the bath. Kiri sighed, his hands rubbing up and down the male's sides he was holding, hands rough but his touch even more gentle. "I love you two so much" He muttered, his cheek pressed against his scarred back for both comfort and closeness. "yea.. no matter how much of a dumbass you two can be, ... I still love you two." Bakugou replied, his head moving closer until his lips pressed to your shoulder. He opened his mouth, leaving open-mouthed kisses over your neck and shoulder. "You two are so needy" You giggled, squirming in Katsuki's hold. His lips and hair was tickling you, making you let out your sweet giggles that they could listen to for hours, while you squirmed around. "Stop squirming around you damn extra.." He complained, trying to keep your moving body in place.
After your affectionate bath together, the three of you got in bed, you getting between your boyfriends to cuddle them. "Clinging to me now, huh?" Bakugou mumbled, that familiar smirk could be heard on his tone. Kirishima managed to get behind you, your back pressed against his board chest. "you wanted me to hold you, didn't you?" You asked, making him go quiet. OF COURSE he loved when you were affectionate, but he couldn't just say it out loud like that. "He likes it baby, just keep holding him like that" Kirishima spoke up for the blond, making the said man scoff. "oh shut the hell up Kiri, you don't know shit" He knew. There were so many times he went to Kirishima for cuddles and comfort when you weren't around, that it was almost unbelievable. "I'll keep holding you 'Tsuki, don't you worry" You mumbled, your voice muffled as your face was pressed into Katsuki's blond locks. It was if you were holding a soft, sweet smelling blond cloud. His own faced pushed into your chest, arms wrapped around your waist. His only response was a grumpy hum, pushing his face deeper into your embrace. Your arms were wrapped around his head, caging it that way, fingers intertwined with Kirishima's. His arms were long enough to hold onto the two of you, wrapping around the two of you along your shoulders. He was quite sleepy, almost as sleepy as you as he nuzzled into the back of your neck, smelling your hair. "you always smell so good when we cuddle..." He whispered, sighing in a way that said 'I love you two so much and i'm so comfortable with you'. Bakugou was dozing off in your arms, barely replying to your conversation. You kissed the top of his head, moving Kiri's hand to press your lips against his forehand. "I love you two so so much... Goodnight love" You mumbled, getting back into that comfortable position you were in earlier. And so, the three of you fell asleep like that late at night. Your game? The event lasted for another 6 days, so you could catch up on it the next day, or the day after, or the day after that....
Being Shigaraki’s younger sister
TW: Graphic, abuse, death mention, description of unstable behavior, manga spoilers
. You were just a couple months old, the only survivor of Tenko’s rampage. Yet too young to understand what had happened to your family.
. Tenko was relieved to find that his baby sister was alive, you hadn’t left him.
. When AFO found you two, you were weak, being too young to go without food for so long.
. You got a new name, you were no longer a Shimura, you were a Shigaraki.
. You were trained from a young age, even before you got your quirk.
. You were also not allowed out much. You were being isolated, so that you would never question what your ‘father’ and his underdogs told you.
. You knew from a young age that you weren’t as needed by the villains as your brother. He was the successor, you were just something extra.
Therefore, you worked to please and help AFO in any way you could, being incredibly devoted to him.
. You feelt indebted to AFO and your older brother. They saved you and you needed to repay that in any way.
. You picked up creating gadgets for the organization, creating weapons and similar things.
. You got at least one quirk from AFO through the years.
. You were sent, along with Aoyama, to get information. You didn’t like the boy too much, you feelt that he got in your way. And don’t get it twisted, you led this mission, not him, you.
. Some of your new classmates interested you, for one reason or another.
. Like Bakugou, or more like his quirk. You studied him in order to improve your gadgets.
. Or Midoriya, as you quickly found out about his quirk and how it worked. He also kind of reminded you of your brother.
. You probably got along best with the quieter crowd, though you were quite extroverted.
. Your friend group may include people like: Jiro, Shoto, Shinsou and Tokoyami. Shinsou whom you meet through the Sports Festival.
. You and your brother had a complicated relationship. You were close, but it was by force. When you were kids, you had to rely on each other in order to survive. But you didn’t really like the man.
. Dabi was another person that you could consider as a brother. You met in the child hospital, more like you saw him in his bed and was told about him by AFO.
When he joined the league, you instantly recognized the lost Todoroki. You actually got along quite well and he helped you train. You call him ‘Touya’ just to remind him of how much you know, he is not happy.
. Toga is the only true female friend you have (Jiro was only a suitable arrangement).
You like having girls' nights which consist of sharpening knives and listening to music.
. You hate most heroes, but Endeavor is the worst in your mind. You scared him after the festival by bringing up Touya. Asking him if he was prepared to lose another son.
. You’re probably in the top of the class and made sure to get a good internship in order to get more information.
. You probably live with one of AFO’s other spies while you go to U.A, probably some rich businessman. Like, ‘could buy Momo’s family’ kind of rich.
/xoxo
Chronicles of Two Heroes and a Cat Part. 2 | Izuku Midoriya x Katsuki Bakugou
Ship: Katsuki Bakugou x Izuku Midoriya | BKDK
Requested by: @delightfulcupquakequeen
Word Count: 5,500~
Minor warnings(?): Some cursing, usage of the characters first name instead of last
Here lies the delightful memories of two heroes and a cat. From cuddle sessions to a big party, the trio continue to create memories that warm their hearts. What goes on in their life?
Meet The Father
Katsuki grumbles, huffing as he puts on his shoes, “Do I have to go?” Izuku vigorously nods his head, “Of course! We’ll have to meet the father, it’s important!”
Katsuki sighs, “Fine, but,” he turns to Amaris, “Only for you and your babies, little one.”
Carefully placing the kittens into the basket with lots of cloth, they prepare to meet the neighbors. With the previous notice and invitation, the neighbors were expecting the duos and kittens. The neighbors, which consists of a single mother with a young daughter, were more than happy to unite the kittens with their father.
Izuku and Katsuki look at each other, immediately bursting into a fit of laughter, remembering the phone call.
“Hello?” Izuku greets, with Katsuki behind him. Katsuki’s hands fold into each other as he hears the noises of a kid in the background.
“Hello? Yes,” the lady introduces herself.
“My name is Izuku Midoriya, your neighbor?” he questions, hoping they knew him.
“Ah... Midoriya, yes. Is everything alright?” she sounded worried.
“Yes, everything is… great. Kac- Katsuki and I are doing great. It’s just,” he plays with the end flap of the couch, “Well, our cat recently gave birth.” He hears the mother coddle the child, adjusting to hear him.
“Oh, really?! Congratulations! The more the merrier, huh?” she sounded shy, but tried to be energetic. 'Must be hard multitasking like that. Children are so, so adorable,' he thought.
“Yes, and,” he looks at Katsuki, who urges him to speak up, “Well, the father of those kids are… Your cat.”
A few long seconds of silence go by, only the occasional babble of the toddler being heard, before the mother gasps, “Wha… Wait. What?! Huh?”
“Woah, that’s impressive… I didn’t think he’d get a girlfriend… He’s always… So awkward around female cats. Agh! Sorry, I went off track,” Izuku chuckles at her small banter. Katsuki cupping his mouth to prevent a loud bark leaving his lips, “Just wow…. Hah? Lenox?! Why would you go after her? What did you even do to impress her? When?”
The more she spoke, the harder it got for the duo to hold in their laughter, hearing the women shocked at the fact that her awkward cat managed to get a girlfriend and kids.
“My goodness,” she chuckles, “Sorry, it’s just very surprising. I never expected this from him, but I’m glad. No wonder he’s been bouncy lately, he must’ve known.”
Katsuki tilted his head, whispered, “That dude knew?!”
“He would take food out the house and return an hour or two later, that must’ve been why,” she continues.
“Ah,” Izuku remembers, “Amaris had done the same thing. She would disappear at random moments only to return a little later.”
The duo shake their heads, Amaris only looking at them in shyness.
“But, fear not. I have no intention of keeping the kitten away from their father,” the duo sigh in relief, upon hearing her.
“Would you like to visit tomorrow?” Izuku looks at Katsuki, who puts a thumbs up.
“Yes! If that’s what works for you?” he asks, trying to be respectful of her.
She hums, “Yes, yes. That works out nicely. It would make my Raiya very happy to see her neighbors. She’s shy, but will feel better in an hour around you two.”
“I’m glad this works out well. We will see you then!” he bids, receiving a bid of goodbye in return.
“My gosh, Lenox has done a number on the neighbor's cat… Poor kitten,” she whispers into the phone, not knowing the phone had no cut. Izuku finally snaps. Bursting out a laugh as he cuts the call. Katsuki joined him, his eyes tearing up. The duo clutching their stomach at the shock and acceptance of their neighbor.
The two calm down, stepping out the door.
“My gosh, Lenox has done a number on the neighbor’s cat,” Katsuki quotes, emitting a small laugh from Izuku.
“Stop,” Izuku chuckles, “You’ll make me lose it. Can’t afford that, right now.”
The slow open of the door makes them straighten their already proper posture, “Good afternoon.”
The duo smile at the young lady, who seemed to be their age, and her daughter.
“Hello, little child,” Izuku waves at the daughter, who waves, but shyly turns away.
“Good afternoon, please come in,” she fully opens the door, letting them inside. The duo hears the distant meow of a cat, Amaris meowing in return. As soon as she does so, a scurried set of steps echoes throughout the room, seconds later a brown and white cat sliding in, right in front of them.
“Woah, woah! Be careful, Lenox,” the lady lectures, only for Lenox to step towards Amaris. The two cats cuddle up against each other, making everyone smile.
“Aw,” Izuku kneels down to them, “Hello, Lenox. I’m Izuku, technically her guardian.”
Katsuki does the same, huffing, “Hello. I’m Katsuki, guardian of the girl you knocked up.” Izuku elbows him for the use of words in front of a child.
“Ow, okay. Language,” he shakes his head at Izuku. Lenox looks at them for a few seconds before bowing his head, shocking the two.
The mother chuckles, “He sees me bow a lot, so he’s gotten the habit of doing that to people that greet themselves.”
A smile rises from Katsuki, “Hm. Maybe you’re not too bad, then.” He ruffles the cat’s fur. The two get back up, following the lady into the living room.
“Please, have a seat. I have prepared a small meal and drinks. Feel free to have anything you'd like!”
Izuku and Katsuki nod, grateful for her kindness, “Thank you!”
They hum in satisfaction, the food absolutely blowing their minds. Placing the places in the sink, they sit back in the living room. In the corner, they look at the father running around the kittens, hoping to meet them soon. Wiping his hands with a tissue, Katsuki stands up.
“Here,” he bends down, opening the flap to let the kittens out, “Your dear children.”
Instantly, Lenox jumps up, eyes gleaming and bright. He meows at Amaris, running around her, meowing out loud. Izuku’s heart melts at the action, “Aw, he’s so excited and happy!”
The neighbor chuckles, “He is! I’m assuming he knew and was dying to meet them.”
“He’s very, very loyal,” the lady looked proud of Lenox, “He’ll never hurt the kittens of your cat. Amaris, is it?”
The duo nod at her question, confirming it. Lenox and Amaris cuddle with each other, scooting up towards the kittens. Using their body to build a protective barrier, despite danger being around.
“Wan’ Wan’” the toddler babbles in the lady’s hands, who chuckles.
“Sorry, Raiya is absolutely fond of animals,” Izuku scrunches his nose at the baby in her arms.
“No worries! It’s good to be! Do you mind if I… carry her?” Izuku asks, to which the neighbor happily nods.
“Sure! I’m trying to make her interact with people. I would never force, but I know when to give her the extra push,” she gently places Raiya in Izuku’s lap. He looks down at the toddler in fondness, his eyes taking in the tiny being. Katsuki simply stares at his boyfriend carrying the child, his heart swelling at the sight. He’d make a great father, Katsuki thought. We’d be great fathers, he thought.
Izuku lets Raiya grab his finger, babbling and saying the occasional few words.
“Cat. The cat,” she jumps in his lap, grabbing the air towards the cats. Katsuki chuckles before looking at the neighbor, “Can I carry her too?”
Getting her permission, he lifts the toddler from Izuku’s lap, “Boom!” He pretended to go fast (in reality he was very careful). The child giggles at the action, quickly bubbling up at the sight of being near the cats.
“Wow! Cute,” she exclaims, touching the fur of the kittens.
“Mom, mom! My cat,” she quickly takes claim of the new kittens, eliciting a chuckle from her mother. She shakes her head, “Sorry, Raiya. It’s their kittens.” Raiya pouts, heartbroken, “Oh.”
Izuku’s heart shatters at Raiya trying not to look sad, “But you can always play with them! Okay?” At the reassurance, her eyes gleamed again.
“Well,”  Katsuki begins, “We were wondering what your opinion on this situation was. We do get busy here and there, so having too many kittens would not be ideal. We may be able to take one more, but that’s about it.” He looks at the neighbor who nods in her understanding.
“I totally understand. I, too, have my hands quite full with my job, Raiya, and Lenox, so the best I can also do is take one kitten. The rest though, um,” she ponders for a second before placing a fist on the palm on her hand, “Ah! A family member wanted to adopt pets soon. I’m sure they’d be willing to take the rest. They have kids old enough to take care of them too.”
"Really?” Izuku replies, relieved, “Then, please do reach out to them and we’d be willing to talk to them about the rest.”
The trio come to a singular decision: Each will take one kitten, Eri will take one (since they have previously decided to do so), and the others can stay with their neighbor’s family. Raiya decided to keep the tallest cat of them all, being fond of its towering difference.  All in all, meeting the father went perfectly. Though, leaving was a hassle.
“Lenox! They have to leave, you can see them again soon,” the male cat meows out loud at his owner, not willing to stick his paw away from the box.
They look at the scene unfold as the two cats find it hard being apart, especially with the kitten.
“Amaris,” Izuku calls out, making Amaris rip her face away from her boyfriend, “We can come again soon, okay?”
The two cats only look at each other, finally accepting defeat after 5 minutes of non-stop pawing and meows.
The duo step out, bidding their neighbors goodbye. Walking back to their house, sighing in contentment. “That went well,” Izuku smiles.
“Sure did,” Katsuki replies, pecking the male’s cheek. Izuku’s nose scrunches up, “Was this for anything?”
“What?” Katsuki lifts an eyebrow, “Can’t I kiss my boyfriend just because?”
Izuku shakes his head, “You can! I’m just saying you have a different look in your eyes.”
Katsuki hums, “I just can’t wait to build a family with you, that’s all.”
Izuku stills, shocked at Katsuki suddenness, albeit they both always knew they’d spend the rest of their lives together.
Catching up once again, he quickly pecks Katsuki cheek, “And I can’t either.” Hand in hand, holding their kittens, the duo smile at their new hopeful future.
“That damn father proved to be worthy after all,” Katsuki grumbles, making Izuku chuckle.
“Told you not to be so harsh on him.”
“Yeah, yeah.”
Picking The One
“Okay!” Izuku exclaims over the phone, “Great. We will see you tomorrow then. Goodbye. Have a wonderful day.”
“Woah, that was easy, huh?” Katsuki said, taking another slurp from his spicy noodles.
Izuku nods, “Raiya’s mother already told them the entire story and they’re super willing to take them in. All of them.”
Katsuki's eyes widened a little before calming down, “Wow. Well, having a family does make it easier to have enough people to look after each other.”
“Mhm, just like us in high school, right?” Izuku remembers all of the missions, jobs, and friends. All of which built the staircase for the duo to rise to the top.
Katsuki nods, "It's sad none of them can adpot a kitten since they're swamped with hero work or already have a pet."
The other male shrugs and nods, "A little, but it's okay. I'm just glad the kittens have a safe family to stay with."
“So,” Katsuki starts, turning off the sink after washing the dishes, “Which kitten would you like to keep, Izuku?”
Izuku tilts his head, pondering for a bit, “I love them all, but… The smallest one really grabs my attention. I don’t want any of them to have poor health, so the smallest one does make me want to keep it, so I know it grows healthy.”
Katsuki hum, understand his concern. The smallest one was the one that barely made any noise, barely moved, and seemed to need lots of one-on-one attention.
Katsuki watches his boyfriend carry the smallest kitten, “Do you want to keep this small one too?” He smiles, nodding, “Yeah. It grabbed my attention too. And whatever makes you happy, makes me happy too.”
IZUKU’S POV
Katsuki hugs me from the back, his chin resting on my shoulder, “Go get ready, then sit on the couch. I’ll be there.  Let’s go for a little while.”
I giggle, his breath tickling my neck, while rocking the small kitten, “Okay.”
Wearing the outfit that Kacchan insisted on me wearing, I stepped out of the room, going back downstairs. Kacchan tells me that he still has to decide.
Watching the calm breathing form of all the sleeping cats, I continue to sit on the couch. 5 minutes. Wow. He must be using the bathroom. I scroll through my phone, waiting. 10 more minutes. Huh? 5 more minutes. Is he taking a shower? I was about to turn on the TV to pass time before I heard my name shouted from the second floor.
“Izuku!” Katsuki shouts, throat raspy. “Izuku! Izuku!”
My heart pounds against my chest as he calls my name in a foreign tone. Not indicating danger, but clearly laced with anxiety.
“Kacchan?!” I scramble off the couch, quickly making my way up the stairs, “Kacchan?! Are you alright?!
“Kac-” I turn the doorknob only to be met with a candle in the middle of the room, “Huh?”
“Kacchan,” I utter, my heart steady, but still worried. Where is he?!
I step inside, kneeling down in front of the candle.
“Stand by the candle,” I heard the familiar voice encourage. Kacchan. Thank goodness.
“Kacchan, you scared me,” I sigh, only to be met with a hum.
“Yeah, didn’t mean to. I guess I was scared too, but just… just stand by the candle,” I chuckle at his soft voice, clearly embarrassed. “Okay, okay,” I  stood back up beside the candle. What is this? Is there some special occasion? Some weird holiday?
“Now, don’t… Don’t go blushing and muttering away on me. Just hear me out, alright,” Kacchan  dark figure nears me, the dark room only outlining his body. I nod, “Yes, yes.” It’s silent for a few seconds, then it slowly starts to hit me. Dark room. Candle. Outfits… Don’t tell me… Wait…
I hear a click and then the lights turn back on. My breath stills for a second, taking in the view in front of me. MY heart pounds against my chest, this time in excitement and overwhelming adoration for the man in front of me.
Kacchan was wearing a get-up quite similar to mine, with decorations filling up the room. The walls of our room are adorned with memories we’ve built throughout our lives. Starting from our childhood on the left to adulthood on the right. Simple nude colors and shades with a hint of jade green and maroon, representing the both of us. Petals of red roses, peonies, and dahlias spilled in a circle around us. The pictures of us smiling, of us standing in fighting stance, of us messy with mud, of us with Amaris, and plenty more. The biggest one being of us holding our hands up together, after completing a world mission.
My eyes begin tearing up, my throat clogging, but I stay quiet.
“Okay, so,” Katski starts, looking at me, “Don’t laugh.”
“Ever since childhood, you’ve been an important person in my life. Someone who was honest, caring, and daring. Admittedly, I did not treat you right. I was an asshole to you. My mentality and self-esteem were awful, so I took out on our friendship. But… You never let me go. You never did. For that I want to thank you.  Every time I saw you, my body would tingle. The tingle sensation was something I did not like. So I would always push you away,” he clenches his fist.
Kacchan continued, his Adam’s apple wavering, “In high school things slowly got better. We slowly got closer. That feeling that I thought was horrible, became comfortable because I was finally able to name it. I have loved you since we were in middle school.”
“We grew together, fought together, and won together. Having you by my side always comforted me. The mere thought of you going away terrifies me. It terrified me back then, so I… I pushed you away hoping the pain of the thought would go away. But it never did. It scares me to this day to think what could’ve happened if you took all of my words to its exact saying. I’m glad that I grew as a person, but I hope that while doing so, I gave you better memories than the pain I caused,” Kacchan confessed as tears pricked his eyes, on the brink of falling down. And they do so. One by one.
He wipes his eyes, “Ah, now I’m the one ruining the mood… What was I going to say?” He sniffles before returning, my hand over my mouth, “I love you so much that it hurts. I can’t stand the thought of you separating from me. I promise to always love you. You’ve been here since practically day one. The one who pushed me, fought me, and protected me. Izuku…” He pauses, licking his lips.
He chuckles a little  “I’m sure you already know what’s going on but, do not feel pressured. I will never take it to heart if you are not ready, but from now on I am. I wasn’t joking when I said I can imagine the rest of our lives together. Heck, we already spent over 20 years together. Both of us shine together. You lift me. I lift you. We are equals and will always be. So… Izuku Midoriya…”
He gets down on one knee, his pants touching the petals that lay beautiful on the ground. His clasped hand finally opened to display a circle box that carries the ring that I had been enamored by, “Will you allow our lives to bloom further by marrying me?”
My lips tremble as tears fall down my ears, my legs slightly shaking. Kacchan giggles, perhaps already expecting my quiet surprise. He simply smiles at me, knowing I needed a second to respond.
 Ah, he’s… he’s such a…
“You’re such a… sudden person. You could’ve at least left a hint for me to prepare.”
He chuckled, still on one knee, scrunching his nose indicating that it wouldn’t have gone according to plan otherwise.
I sniffle down my last shocked choke,  laying my hand out, “Yes… Yes, Kacchan. I will marry you.”
Suddenly, the line of a cord catches my eye, making me chuckle, “Did you set up a camera?”
His lips for a thin line, “At least you didn’t notice earlier. It's… I just wanted to keep a physical way to remember this.”
I smile ruffling his hair, “I appreciate that. I’m sure our moms would love to see what happened.”
“Don’t you dare spread this to our friends… They’ll poke stupid fun,” he grumbles.
I laugh, “I’ll try, but knowing them they’ll try one way or another to get their hands on it.”
He huffs, “I guess I’m doing this to myself.” I nod, leaning my head against his, pecking another kiss, “I’m glad you’re you. I love you so much.”
He hugs me, closing any gap that barely remained, “I love you too… so much.”
After posting the rings on our private accounts, multiple phone calls and messages thunder through our phones.
Kacchan sighs, “I’m not ready for the amount of people we have to respond to,” slumping down on the couch.
I nod, “Me neither,” scratching the back of my head, “They probably didn’t expect the proposal either.”
He rolls his eyes, “Otherwise the news would’ve reached you. Can’t keep their mouths shut for too long.”
I chuckle, “How long have you been planning this?”
He pauses to think for a second, “Maybe a few months, but the thought first popped up a little under a year ago.” My cheek heats up at the thought. He must’ve been really nervous.
Suddenly Kacchan stood up, his eyebrows knitted together, “What’s he doing here?!” I turn my head to the corner of the room where the kitten and Amaris are, tilt my head and the new sight. I breathe a laugh, “Oh my gosh! Aha!”
Lenox held a flower in his mouth, a few moves laid out on the floor in front of Amaris, her eyes slightly wide. His head was tilted down words, whispering something.
“Is he… proposing?!” I gush at the sight, making Kacchan scrunch his nose.
“Copycat. Why is he doing it here? Why not some other place?”
“Oi!” he shouted, but I pulled on his arm.
“Let him finish,” I urge him to sit back down, noticing Amaris stand on her feet. She goes up to Lenox, slowly. Leaning forward she rubs her head on his neck, licking him. She accepted!!
“Damn it,” Kacchan sighed, “Well, I guess two proposals make it joyful for everyone.”
I vigorously shake my head, “How about-”
“Okay. I’m fine with them getting married during our wedding,” he interrupts, already knowing what I thought.
I smile, “Thank you.”
Wedding Hassle
KATSUKI’S POV
“Where’s the tie?!” Eijirou shouts, “Hello?! Tie?! Where?!”
‘Calm down! I have it,” Mina lifts her hand up, waving around the tie, huffing. Eijrou sighs in relief, “Had me panicking for a second.”
“Dude. You have to stop being so stiff,” Eijirou, poking my back, earning a glare.
“I’m the one getting married. Of course I’m- Nothing, dumbass,” I shake my hands, trying to cool down my sweaty hands. Why now? I need to calm down.
“I get it. I was really nervous during my wedding too,” I heard a familiar elderly voice call out. Mom.
“Really?” she nods at my question.
“At some point I had thoughts that I would never find the one because… of my personality, but your father accepted all of me. Flaws and all. We helped each other and in the end… We worked out just fine,” she smiles at me.
“I’m saying this once, Katsuki. Never shatter his heart. He’s forgiving and understanding, but that doesn’t mean he always will be,” she holds my shoulder, “But I know my boy well enough, too. You’ll neer do anything like that.”
I give her a small smile, “What if… I do something stupid out there?”
Denki barks a laugh, “Imagine falling! Immediate ick,” only to receive a slap on the head from Kyouka.
Mom chuckles, “Izuku loves all of you, so don’t worry. Remember that he accepted all of your flaws and growth. A small stupid fall won’t make him fall out of love. Rather,” she shows me her eye smiles, “He’ll run to help you up.”
I smile, “Yeah… He would.”
I take a deep breath, looking at the small figure next to me, “If you run out of the court without marrying Amaris, I’ll chase you.”
Lenox only stares at me, blinking in the neighbor’s lap, who suppresses a laugh.
“I’ll chase you too, little bud,” she shakes the cat, who is adorned with a light suit, “Amaris is too adorable to be walked out on.” He only meows out loud, his nose slightly scrunched.
“Yeah, yeah. I’m scared too,” I whisper to him, petting his head, “Let’s go.”
IZUKU’S POV
I wipe my sweaty hands on the napkin, breathing in and out. It’s okay. Not a dream. Everything will be okay. A-okay. No! What if he’s not ready at the last minute?! Well he’d never do that, but what if I do something stup-
“Izuku,” Shouto lays his hand on my shoulder, “Deep breaths. Are you good?”
I nod, “Just… I’m just worried. What if something goes wrong?”
Ochaco pops her head out of the wardrobe to pull out a chain that goes on my suit, “Finally. Anyways, I doubt things will go horrible. You have all of us and our former teachers. I’m sure if anything goes wrong, our quirks will be useful enough.”
I sigh, “I know… But what if I say something weird, during the you know?” I pet Amaris, who was dressed up in a simple, but beautiful dress.
“Don't worry, honey,” I heard mom say, walking up to cup my cheeks, “You and Katsuki really love each other. Pure, indefinite love. If anything,” she smiles, “I’d say it’ll be the representation of your love if any one of you makes a small mistake. Besides, it’s only natural for one tiny detail to be out of place. It makes us human, hm?”
I nod, appreciating her truth. It does make us human.
She breathes in, “So, any stuttering, mumbling, and whatnots is allowed. Just keep your chin up and marry the man you’ve loved for the longest time.”
I hold her hand, smiling, “Mm, mom. Thank you.”
Looking at the basket where Amaris lies, I bend down, “Almost time, little one.”
She only purrs in response, her eyes shining in the bright light, a magical shining aura around her. She’s really excited.
THIRD PERSON POV
That day, flowers bloom in their most beautiful form, flowing in the air, surrounding the two who have loved each other for the longest time. Their love blooms further as they lean toward each other, their vows touching every heart present.
Izuku squeezes Katsuki's hands, trying to calm himself down, finishing his speech, “No matter what, I’ll have your back, and you’ll have mine. I have never doubted you, because I knew you better than what was said and spread about you. This is not the first time that I’ll say this, but despite being surrounded by powerful heroes since I was a kid, you were the hero that was closest at arm's length. You inspired me, encouraged me, and were the most powerful rival I could’ve asked for. All of your sacrifices were made for both of us. You’ve grown for yourself and me. Till this day, my heart holds endless love for you. I promise to love you with your entirety. I promise to be there for you through hardships, sickness, success, and flourish. Katsuki Bakugou, I love you and will continue to love you, even in the afterlife.”
Katsuki bites the inside of his lips, preventing himself from tearing too much. He begins his speech, holding the similar weight as Izuku’s, their love spilling through words. He breathes in, finishing the last bit, “You have always protected me and I have always protected you. Together, I believe we’re too powerful, but let that be so. I want to keep you safe and sound. I know our workfield is dangerous, but I promise to be the best support system you have. I want to continue being your home. I want to be the person who loves you and is loved by you forever. You mean so, so much to me. Watching you grow up to be such an expressive and positive role model fills my heart to its brim. You made me want to become a better person, because it was only right for me to face myself, instead of pushing it all down. Through sickness, health, hardships, and success, I vow to be there for you. I want to be there for it all. Izuku Midoriya, I love you and promise to do so, even after the world disappears.”
The crowd erupts in sobs, claps, whistles, and banter, it all cheering the duo on. The cats present beside them, meowing at each together, making their own vows as they stand on their pedestals. Lenox in awe of Amaris’s attire, his eyes shined with only her. She was his world, the mother of his kids. He places her as one of the most important ones in the world. She accepted him through it all. His awkwardness, bluntness, coldness, and insecurities. She was the night to his moon, making him shine so bright. Amaris looks back at him with just as much love. Meeting him was like meeting her destined one. Admittedly, she reached out for him first,  encouraging their friendship, which quickly blossomed into love. She was patient and he opened his entire heart to her. Letting her in on his daily small adventures, protecting her, bringing her gifts, and… showing her endless love. He was the day to her sun. Looking at the duo beside them and the crowd that also cheers for them, the two cats near each other kissing.
The two males leaning forward, the two words pricking the tip of their tongues.
“I do.”
“I do.”
A couple of meows sound throughout the air. And there it was, the beginning of their new label, “married.”
The couple grumble waking up from their late night shenanigans. Their phones, once again sounding off too much. “Agh, turn that shit off,” Katsuki groans. Izuku yawns, picking up his phone only to chuckle, laying his phone down again. He cuddles up against his… husband, now.
“What was it? Swear it better not be some shitty request to interview us.”
Izuku laughs, hugging him, “Nmn. Just the group chat going off because they’re making fun of the news videos and headlines about us.”
Katsuki lifts his head up, “What were they?”
Izuku suppresses laughter,” It… Haha… It was ‘Cat Lovers and their Cats Married?!’ ‘Top Heroes Encourage A Weird, But Cute Wedding Idea’ ‘Today’s News: Sudden Marriage?! Such A Booming Shocker!’”
Katsuki snorts, “They have too much time on their hands, it’s barely been a day.”
“I know,” Izuku hums in Katsuki’s arms.
“I still am kind of shocked, you know?” Katsuki leans up, his head on his hand. Izuku’s hand still wrapped around his waist.
“Why?” Izuku asks, still laying on his pillow.
“I just… It feels too good. It all went by so lovely. The decorations, the vows, and everything. No mistakes- Okay, well, except for me staring at you too long when you were in front of me, but that’s not it. I’m just so glad we’re married. I’m hoping to keep this forever,” he plays with his ring.
Izuku smiles, his eyes squinted, “Me too, Kacchan. I love you too much to let you go now. Not after everything. So there’s no hoping, it’s already an expectation, assured expectation at that.”
He laughs at his green-haired lover, well… husband, “Yeah, assured expectation. I like the sound of that… Sounds more intense and badass.”
Izuku’s cheeks heat up, “Don’t make fun of it.” Katsuki smiles, pecking his lips, “I’m not, love. I like it when you use our creative writing side. Makes my heart tingle a little more.”
"Is that so?” Katsku nods at Izuku.
Izuku lets out a mischievous smile, “I guess I’ll use it more often.”
“Agh, stop it. Forget I ever said that,” he huffs, knowing the man in front of him has one of the best memories out there.
“Just like you told me to forget you used to keep a picture of me in your locker? Or when you slipped in the high school’s boy’s locker room when you thought we were alone and busted your ass?” Izuku teased. Once he is in the mood to poke harmless fun, he’ll do it, mercilessly. Most of these, he was simply somehow there to see these happen in real time.
“Agh! Forget it!”
“Nope, didn’t forget a single thing you told me to forget.”
“Alright, I’ll cuddle you more, if you just don’t remind me of those.”
Izuku laughs, “Yes, yes. Come closer now.”
Katsuki huffs, closing any gap, already going back to the position they’ve grown to unconsciously already do. Izuku arms around him, and his arms around Izuku. The both facing each other, legs linked, preventing any cold air interrupting their warmth.
Truthfully, their love did not need to be proven by the label of marriage. It did make life easier, saving them from others doubting their relationship. But those people did matter either. The presence of each other was all they needed. Their dream wedding was possible because of each other. Their hard work, fights and confrontations, reconciliation and understanding always strengthened their love. The duo invited a cat into their lives, which only made them realize one more thing: Having an actual family would brighten their lives, because perhaps they were almost ready.
Katsuki and Izuku went through life from the rock bottom, building their relationship, from rivals to friends to lovers. Though they weren’t the typical hateful rivals, they were pining rivals, both too stubborn and anxious to reveal their not-so-platonic love. And here they are, matured and grown, willing to go through any obstacle because they love each other. Supporting one another. Knowing each other more than others. Katsuki and Izuku worked hard to bloom their love, taking their time with it too. Now, with their arms around each other, the two husbands listen to their linked content hearts, which are filled to the brim with adoration and devotion for one another.
