i really hope whenever i find some fetish blog or adjacent type thing that people don't assume im making fun of the person. I truly get so inspired and full of pure unbridled joy finding people who have such laser focused and high effort dedication to one specific thing, sexual or not. They are putting out literal high art performance pieces in their homes and its genuinely inspiring to see. What some of these people do for fun in their free time is up there in my mind with huge artists like matthew barney, cindy sherman, alex da corte (not implying they make fetish work but its adjacent aesthetically). I don't believe that art being tied to sexuality or sexual pleasure lessens it or makes it not worth appreciating on its own merits. Some people get hung up on that but if you can look past someone having a hard on while filming you'll find a lot of really beautiful gems in the world.
An edit of Israel “Izzy” Hands that I made. For both the character and Con O’Neill himself for giving us such a beautiful character and performance and for always being so kind and supportive to his fans. This character means so much to me and he will always be our Unicorn.
You expected a silly gay pirate show and then it hits you with the:
"You know that there's a bird that never touches ground? Born in the air. Never once lands. Spends its entire existence in the sky. We're never going back to land. We're gonna sail, rob, raise hell forever and ever, without end."
You know I could understand that for years the audience didn’t vote for the non-English songs. It’s harder to get into a song you don’t understand or in a language that’s just gibberish to your brain. But I’ve always considered that the jury was here to restore that balance. But the fact that they never do, and this year that they have actually ruined this, this celebration of diversity, by promoting two basic pop songs, that really shows that they don’t serve any purpose.
See the thing about Sleep Token is that every song is probably just about about rough sex and toxic break ups and a fake god, but they all could have about 30 different meanings, and everyone of them is valid, and also so ridiculous, but I love them and also, it’s probably just sex, you know?
i love watching ur eurovision lb bc i was so uninterested until you sent me those songs and now im like "oh? what does corks have to say about these songs i cannot hear? do they live up to her standards?"
They do NAWT i cannot describe this to you. It feels so generic american pop. No offence to american pop. But eurovision is about the spectacle, the DRAMA. This is what i hear in slightly overpriced clothing stores
how can i call this intimacy
if i crave sharp edges
but your edges aren't even edges
they are soft landings
how do i teach myself
to accept a healthy love
if all i’ve ever known is pain
