Summary/Request: hi there! if i could have a request where the reader uses she/her pronouns with frank from the revenge era, with the sharing one bed trope + enemies to lovers, that would be great. if not, totally okay!! 🥰🖤🖤

A/N: Title is taken from How These Things Go by The Wild & Free, one of my fave indie bands. Also the line where he asks to kiss her is taken from The Program by Suzanne Young, my new favorite book. Enjoy!

You and Frank had hated each other on sight, ever since that first band practice when you’d auditioned to be their keyboardist. That had been a few months ago. You weren’t really sure who or what had started it, but you two just didn’t get along. Despite that, when the band had voted on whether you should be their keyboardist, he’d voted yes. It wasn’t professional, it was personal.

Everything he did annoyed you. His incessant pot smoking. His propensity for acting like a wild animal onstage and knocking over everything in sight (he’d damaged your keyboard more than once, but had paid for the repairs with a nonchalant apology that you didn't believe for a second). His habit of getting in everyone’s space. His stupid laugh. His stupid smile. His stupid voice. The stupid way you could feel him watching you onstage.

You were on tour with MyChem while you promoted Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. You had a few days off between shows, so you decided to have some fun. Well, as much fun as you could have while hanging around with Frank.

“Hey, I bet you ten bucks I can get the bartender’s number,” Frank said to Ray, nudging him with an elbow.

You rolled your eyes. “You’re a pig.”

Frank snorted, giving an uncanny impression of the aforementioned animal, grinning at you. You hated the way his lip ring glinted in the low light of the bar.

“She’s just a woman doing her job,” you continued, glaring at Frank.

Frank arched an eyebrow, his grin turning into a smirk. “What, are you jealous, Y/N?”

“Of course not!” You grumbled, but you couldn’t ignore how your cheeks burned and you hoped he didn’t notice.

You also couldn’t ignore the fact that, underneath all that hatred, you were hopelessly drawn to Frank. And it wasn’t for nothing. You had eyes and could tell he was attractive. And he wasn’t a total monster. For instance, there had been times when you’d been harassed by guys on the road and he’d stood up for you, but when you thanked him, he just rolled his eyes at you and told you not to mention it again.

“You’re on, man,” Ray said.

“I can’t believe you two,” you scoffed.

Frank flagged down the bartender. You watched in amusement as Frank tried a dumb pickup line, to which the bartender just shrugged him off and refilled his water glass, walking away to serve someone else.

Ray barked out a laugh before holding out his hand. “Pay up, dude.”

Frank glowered at him, digging for his wallet and muttering about how he could’ve had her.

You turned to Frank. “I think you might be the worst person I’ve ever met.”

He gave you a smile with way too much teeth. “What can I say? I’m a charmer.”

Several hours had gone by. You’d had way too much to drink and were definitely starting to feel it. There was a warm, tingly feeling throughout your body and the sharp edges of the world seemed to soften a bit. You looked around, noticing that Gerard, Mikey, Ray, and your drummer were no longer sitting with you. The only one left was Frank.

“Wh-where’d everybody go?” You asked, your words tangling together on the tip of your tongue.

He rolled his eyes. “They left…like ages ago. You didn’t notice?”

“No,” you said.

He snorted. “Not very observant, are you?”

You shoved him, or at least you tried to without losing your balance on the barstool. “Shuddup, Iero.”

“And since they ditched us, I’m the one stuck taking you home,” he grumbled.

“It’s your lucky day!” You said.

“Yeah, yeah. We should probably get outta here so we can get a taxi to the motel,” he said.

“But whyyy? There are drinks here!”

“And you don’t need anymore alcohol in you. Now c’mon,” he said.

He hopped down from his barstool and waited for you to do the same.

“What’s wrong with you?” He asked.

“I can’t get down, I might fall!” You said.

He groaned. “Fine.” He took your hands and you tried to ignore the way your heart fluttered. He draped your limp arms around his neck and wrapped his arms around your waist, hoisting you out of your seat before setting you on your feet.

“C’mon, time to go,” he whispered, leading you out of the bar, the two of you still wrapped around each other.

The cab ride back to the motel was a blur. The whole way there, Frank didn’t speak to you at all. You were partly thankful, since that meant he wasn’t saying anything rude or mean to you, but also in your drunken state, you wondered if you should talk to him. This moment felt significant somehow, and charged with a tension that you felt you could cut with a knife, had you been sober enough to be trusted to wield one.

Once the cab arrived at the motel, Frank wordlessly led you to the front desk, holding you up as he claimed the key and went to the room. Based on Frank’s low grumblings, you surmised that the others had claimed all the other rooms, leaving you and Frank to share. Frank clearly wasn’t happy, but you naively hoped this would give you a chance to talk.

He unlocked the door and led you inside. His gaze swept around the room, before he swore softly. You looked up to see what he was talking about and immediately noticed there was only one bed, a double bed that took up most of the room.

“I’m sleeping on the floor,” Frank said, not sounding too happy at the prospect.

He helped you into bed, taking the extra blanket and a few pillows before laying down on the floor.

“Goodnight, Y/N,” he whispered.

“‘Night, Frank,” you whispered back.

You rolled over and tried to sleep, but the bed felt too big and you were feeling guilty that Frank had to sleep on the hard floor.

“Frank?” You hissed.

“What?” He asked, sounding just as awake as you felt.

“Can you--can you come sleep in the bed with me?” You asked.

“Why?”

You sighed. “Because the bed is too big for just me and I feel bad that you’re on the floor.”

“I volunteered to be on the floor,” he said.

“Yes, but wouldn’t you rather sleep in a bed?”

“Yeah, but I don’t wanna make you uncomfortable,” he said.

“The bed’s big enough for both of us, stop being such a baby,” you said.

“I’m not the one who can’t sleep in a bed all by herself,” he said.

“Just get up here!” You snapped.

“Fine, fine. Geez, woman,” he grumbled.

In the blackness, you heard him scramble to his feet and shuffle towards the bed. You felt the mattress sink as he joined you, curling up on the edge of the bed.

“Better?” He asked.

“Yeah,” you said.

“Good,” he said. “You stay on your side and I’ll stay on mine, right?”

“Right,” you said.

It was quiet then as you both tried to fall asleep, but you still found yourself unable to shut your eyes and rest.

“Frank?” You asked.

“What?” He hissed.

“Why do we hate each other?” You asked. That question had been on your mind for most of the night.

“I don’t know anymore,” he murmured, sounding far away.

“Maybe…we could stop hating each other,” you said.

“Why?” He asked, his voice cracking slightly around the word.

“Because I don’t really hate you and I actually think you’re cute,” you said, thankful he couldn’t see your face in the dark, since your cheeks were burning with the heat of your confession.

“You’re drunk, you won’t even remember this in the morning,” he whispered, sounding surprisingly hurt by the idea.

“Yes, I will,” you said, hating him all over again for suggesting that.

“Just go to sleep,” he whispered. “Please.”

“Fine, I will,” you huffed, contemplating sleeping on the floor yourself.

The next morning, you awoke with your head on someone’s chest. You briefly wondered just what the hell you’d gotten up to last night, when you remembered everything. The bar, the drinks, Frank taking you back to the room, Frank…

Your heart started to race, but then you felt the fabric of his shirt beneath your cheek, ruling out anything too bad. You chanced a glance at his face, but he was already watching you, looking…oddly emotional?

You glared at him. “What the hell are you looking at, Iero?”

His eyes widened, then he returned your glare. “Not much, clearly.”

“What, regretting bringing me back to bed?”

“I’m not the one who didn’t stay on their side,” he snapped.

“And get your hands off me!” You snapped back, having just noticed his arms were wrapped around you.

He looked down, as if just now realizing his arms were attached to his body and obliged. You felt a sudden chill where there had once been warmth and regretted snapping at him, but you wouldn’t have been able to bear it if he’d noticed on his own and had said something.

“M’sorry,” he mumbled, averting his gaze from you, but not before you saw a flash of hurt in his hazel eyes. What the hell?

You and Frank got ready, grabbed your stuff, and went to meet the others on the bus to drive to the venue. Then you headed backstage to get ready for the show. All day, you’d been making your usually dumb comments towards Frank, trying to get him to snap back at you like he usually did, but you were just met with cold silence. When he did look at you, he had the same look of hurt in his eyes, as much as he seemed to be trying to hide it.

“What’s wrong with Iero?” You asked Ray, who was sitting on the couch near you.

“Why are you asking me? He’s been like this all day and before that, he was with you,” he said.

You snorted in indignation. “What, you think I did something to him?”

“I didn’t say that,” Ray said.

“But you were thinking it,” you said.

Ray sighed. “Y/N, have you ever thought that you might be hurting each other and that you should try getting along?”

“He’s the one who--”

“Right, stupid question,” Ray said.

“Ray…”

“Just think about what I said, okay?”

You sighed. “Fine.”

On stage tonight, you felt Frank’s eyes on you almost the entire time. And during “I’m Not Okay,” instead of “trust me,” Frank said, “Lie to me, Y/N.” When you looked over at him, his hazel eyes pierced your own, taking you off-guard.

When the show was over, you all went backstage. You felt a gentle hand wrap its fingers around your wrist, stopping you in your tracks.

“Y/N?” Frank asked.

You turned and he let go of your wrist.

“Yeah?”

“Can I…can we talk? On the bus?” He asked, tugging at his lip ring with his teeth, a nervous habit of his you couldn’t help but notice.

“Sure,” you said.

You felt everyone watching the two of you walk out together, but you paid them no mind. Frank held the door for you as you left the venue and again when you climbed onto the bus. You sat down together in the front lounge of the bus.

Frank looked down at his tattooed fingers as if seeing them for the first time. “Look, last night, you said some things and I guess I’m just wondering whether you really meant them.”

“I was drunk, okay?”

“You seriously don’t remember?” He asked, narrowing his eyes at you.

“No, what did I say?” Your stomach churned.

“You asked me why we hated each other and then you said maybe we could stop hating each other because you thought I was cute,” he said.

“Oh god,” you whispered.

“So what, were you telling the truth or was it just more bullshit, huh?” He asked, his eyes blazing.

“Why do you care so much? You hate me,” you said, even though you questioned the truth of that.

“Y/N…” Frank’s voice sounded tired, but you kept talking.

“You hate me and we don’t get along and we probably never will and--”

“Y/N, stop. I--”

“--so why is it so important to you what I think?”

“Because I really like you, okay?” Frank burst out. “And I think you’re cute too. More than that, I think you’re gorgeous and last night, you--you curled up against me and I lay there dreading when morning came because I knew things would be like this. I tried to stay on my side of the bed, give you your space, but you rolled over and grabbed onto me and I never wanted you to let go. That’s why I was looking at you this morning, because I’ve never seen anyone so beautiful in my entire life.”

“Oh yeah? Well…well…fuck!” You groaned, burying your face in your hands. “Fuck, Frank. Why did you have to say that? I don’t wanna have feelings for you!”

“But you do, right?” He asked, a smirk creeping onto his face.

“Yeah, duh,” you said.

“So maybe we can both just…drop our weapons and be…be okay with each other,” he said.

“You really think that could work?” You asked.

“We’ll never know unless we try. I wanna try, Y/N. Please,” he said. He reached up and brushed his fingers against your face. “Would you let me kiss you? Please?” He asked, looking more nervous than you’d ever seen him.

“Yes,” you whispered and with that, Frank pressed his lips to yours, softly at first, but then harder, more passionately.

Finally, you broke off for air. “Wanna go tell the others the good news?” Frank asked.

“Later. Right now, I want you to kiss me again,” you said.

“That can be arranged,” he said, grinning at you and crashing his lips against yours once more.

I was born on the 9th day of the 9th month. Imagine how obnoxious I was back in '99 lol. 😁

what is your job?

Let's just say I'm fortunate enough to have an occupation that lets me do experiments, mix nefarious things, obtain spectacular (fail) results, and get paid while I'm at it 😅

if you could go back to school, would you?

I often describe myself as an infinite learner. So, while it's true that I can learn things outside of uni, there are still some things that I want to comprehend in an academic setting. I mean, how else can I get my hands on a Scanning Electron Microscope, spectrophotometer, and the like?? 😅

can you parallel park?

Yes. Curiously, my parallel park is better than my reverse parking lol.

a job you had that would surprise people?

Not a job, but most people are surprised when I tell them that I used to be a competitive cheerleader/dancer 😅😅😅 Apparently, I don't look "perky" enough lol. Another thing that also surprises other people is when I tell them I used to do theatre and even played the Virgin Mary in a school play back in high school. Again, my resting bitch face is working against me 🤣🤣🤣

do you think aliens are real?

I'll believe when there is definitive proof that there are. And before I get dragged into the mud, the same goes with religious stuff. I might have played the role of the Virgin Mary in a school theatre, but I am agnostic, at best lol.

can you drive a manual car?

Yes. I actually prefer driving manual cars to automatic because I tend to get bored easily and shifting gears helps me focus lol.

what's your guilty pleasure?

I usually drink unlimited amounts of long black coffee during the day and drink beer mixed with vodka before bedtime. But I will prolly live happily ever after if somebody gives me unlimited access to some tasty chicken nuggets lol

I would want some but I don't like needles lol

I like reds, yellows, and blues.

favorite type of music?

Depends on my mood. There are times I like heavy metal. Other times I would prefer classical music. However, I do like The Beatles so their music is always somewhere in my Spotify playlists.

Yes. I used to do cryptograms and logic puzzles while commuting to my uni.

any phobias?

Does fear itself count? 😅 No, the worst that I feel is anxiety. However, I could always convince myself to face whatever it is that is giving me anxiety. For example, I might not like needles, but I can still get my vaccination with little fuss lol.

favorite childhood sport?

Running. I just like getting from one place to another as fast as my legs could carry.

If I am alone, yes. I even address myself in the third person 😅

Suddenly I had a mighty need for Nancy to be into Queen 😂

Screaming at her, pleading, crying were all futile. They've known this since Chrissy, since Max. If Vecna found you, you couldn't escape. You were too far gone.

Robin immediately knew something terrible has happened when she's heard Steve's frantic voice. When she looked through the hole in Eddie's ceiling, she saw her worst fear coming true: Nancy stood there, legs rooted into the ground, her eyes completely white and gone. Steve kept shaking her desperately, but nothing happened. Nancy was taken by the monster.

For a second, Robin's mind drew a blank. White-hot panic filled her brain, rendering her helpless. They couldn't lose Nancy.

Eventually, the fog cleared around her brain. She remembered the patients at the asylum, she remembered Max. There was only one way they could have still reached Nancy's mind.

"Quick, find some music!" She yelled. "Come on, everybody!"

While they skimmed through the albums in Eddie's room, Robin tried to remember what kind of music Nancy said she liked listening to. She liked Madonna, Blondie, David Bowie, Queen... but she hasn't found anything. The helpless pain gripped her heart again. She glanced down at Nancy, and prayed that some miracle would befall them.

"We can't find anything!" She yelled down at Steve. "There's no music here she would like!"

Not on an album, Robin suddenly realized. Maybe they couldn't play her anything, but that didn't mean they couldn't still give her a song that would bring her back.

Robin screamed at her friends to shut up, then she closed her eyes and cleared her throat. She hoped she remembered correctly that Nancy said she really liked Killer Queen, and it was the song she always listened to when she felt down.

She keeps her Moet et Chandon, in her pretty cabinet...

Robin didn't look at her friends' bewilderment. She only watched Nancy, hoping to see the dead fog leaving her eyes.

Let them eat cake, she said, just like Marie Antoinette...

Her voice wavered as tears burned her eyes, but she didn't care. Her voice needed to reach Nancy, and she could only hope it wasn't too late.

"Something is happening!" Steve yelled. There was a glimmer of hope in his eyes as he looked up. "Keep singing, Robin!"

Robin did. She sang at the top of her lungs, tears streaming down her face. She faintly heard Eddie humming next to him, trying to help her.

When she reached the first refrain, she saw Nancy stirring. Robin sang louder, her hands gripping at the sheets they used as ropes, trying to keep herself from collapsing.

A loud gasp interrupted her, and Nancy stumbled. Steve caught her before she could fall to the ground. Robin clamped a hand over her mouth, crying in relief.

"You're back," she whispered, barely able to see through her tears as Nancy looked up at her. "It worked!"

"You have a beautiful voice," Nancy said softly. Her eyes were tired and still so scared, but there was something else there, an emotion that made Robin's chest feel warm.

Moar Digimon Frontier

17 - Blizzarmon - Blow the Snow, Call the Glaciers! -Arbormon napping at the bottom of the sea. I wonder if his quirk is a reference to some Japanese thing or if the writers just thought this callous monster villain being like "brush your teeth kids!" would be funny. -Everybody's still gliding along on the raft and nearly get themselves… iced hehehehe. -During the looking-for-Toucanmon montage there's a Dukemon casually thrown in there. That's so funny. "omg Dukemon!! One of the Holy Knights!" "Oh no that's my cousin I just stock the shelves in this armoury." -All you need is the power of VIDEO GAMES!! I love Tomoki he's my fave character I think. Him trying to trade his hat and shoes for the Digivices was cute. It's sad when he cries (god that sounds so stupid lol) when Nanomon's fiddling with the Digivice. I mean, that feeling of being a small kid totally out of your depth and trying SO HARD to do something right or useful or stop something bad but it's just not working out no matter what. Poor kid. -CURRY EATING CONTEST!! I love how they actually brought this back around later in the episode. Honestly this entire ep felt really cohesive and well-written. Every time I see an anime curry I want to eat curry though haha. -Blizzarmon is really cool, this is the first time I've seen it (outside of the OP) -Love Koji and Takuya beating Petaldramon with literal sticks and pipes lol. It was also good that they HELPED Tomoki in the fight after getting their Digivices again, but didn't overshadow him or take away his victory. -Good episode. I like it.

LITTLE BURGER MONSTERS. I literally just finished my first sketches of my Burgamon OCs last night too. Burgers burgers burgas. oh my goshness -This was a super goofy episode (in a good way). Not much to say since the bulk of the events were just race shenanigans and danger, but it was pretty entertaining. -WAIT OMG THE PRIZE IS GOING TO THE HAMBURGER VILLAGE OMG OMG OMG MORE BURGAMON YES YES YES!!

19 - Save the Burgamon! Tomoki's Pure Heart -THE LITTLE BURGER VILLAGE. A shame it's under siege from the get-go. It would've been nice to see all the little burgers being happy… -Chamelemon is here! Another Digimon I've never see outside of the official artwork. -Bruh this episode is just… so good, so funny. The mother Burgamon fainting all the time, the little baby Torikaraballmon. Everybody taking HAMBURGERS so seriously. Peak Digimon tbh. Just a silly fun time. -Okay so Takaya's burgers sound good to me?? What's the issue??? Especially the second one. Kimchi, curry and chorizo? Sounds tasty AF. sounds of copious notes being taken Koji however should never be left alone in a kitchen. -Honestly I can't think of anything to else say I just really liked this episode. It was fun and silly. AND BURGAMON WAS THERE.

20 - The Mysterious Warrior Lurking the Darkness - Duskmon! -Arbormon: I will do whatever I can to be useful to Cherubimon. spends at least several days tormenting a tiny village because he wants burgers -Mercuremon makes the worst mistake a villain can make and LOUDLY MONOLOGUES HIS PLAN OHOHOHOHOHO! …and Duskmon hears, ooo. -Cherubimon's first real appearance. And he can smell Mercuremon's BS a mile away haha. -Trailmon can just decide not to follow tracks. Makes sense since they're autonomous. It probably sounds horrifying to Japanese viewers by my English arse is like "yeah makes sense the train would just. not go where it's supposed to" -Aww, the whole scene with Pipismon and Bokomon being encouraged to be the one to fill in the book's blank pages was nice! -Aaand Arbormon shows up again. We get our first mass simultaneous beast Spirit evolution, but even that can't quite cut it against Petaldramon at first. In the end the kids overcome him and give him the option of surrndering only for Duskmon to show up and destroy him. It was only a matter of time before this happened haha. -Duskmon has a really cool design Just all the eyes all over, looks nice and freaky. -I'm getting close to the halfway point! I'm really interested to see where it's gonna go from here given there's still quite a bit remaining.

21 - The Five Warriors Annihilated!? The Terrifying Power of Darkness! -Well now that's a title. -Unsurprisingly, Duskmon wipes the floor with the kids, so they flee. -Some nice moments and scenes here, especially the one between Izumi and Junpei. -Takuya comes up with an AMAZING PLAN that will DEFINITELY NOT WORK. And Koji is not having it. I really like their relationship. -Duskmon seems to recognise Koji somehow. I actually figured a while ago Duskmon is probably related to Koji somehow, maybe like a lost older brother or something. Y'know. Light and Darkness and all that. Plus Koji has that "secret" or whatever. -THAT ENDING THO. The Darkness Terminal bit and Takuya solemnly gets on the train. That was actually a pretty haunting moment. Really felt like a metaphorical death. I know Digimon gets dark sometimes for a ids show but no way they'd literally kill off a 10 year old like that lol. There was some nice atmosphere and animation this episode.

I really truley appreciate your words and I'm so glad people felt safe here and it made me so happy to see the community being so civil with one another in this space. I've been in the Resident Evil fandom since the late 90s and have seen this fandom at its absolute worst. Even now, there are people that do some pretty horrific shit to others in the community... all because they prefer a different ship or character or whatever. It's all such a waste. Real life is already full of unrelenting pain, people should be allowed to just... enjoy the things that make them happy.

It's so much more rewarding to focus on creating something you love than tearing down what you hate. I wish more of you felt safe in community spaces and I wish I had the ability to keep this going forever. Everyone should be allowed to be silly and enjoy themselves openly without worrying about terrible repercussions from others. There's always going to be petty fandom drama, I know that, but we as a community really need to reign that shit it as it is stupidly out of hand.

Sometimes people just like different things. Not the end of the damn world. Ignore it, move on, create something for what YOU like.

I know this might have turned into a disjointed rant and I apologize for that... it's just been on my mind a lot lately.

kylo ren (star wars) - you kind of have to pick and choose with this one but i choose the guy who thought his uncle was going to kill him and, again, proceeded to make his problems the entire galaxy's problems. desperate attempt to escape the legacy he inherited, fucked up sense of self, too many ego problems to count, do we see the pattern yet. etc.

cersei lannister (asoiaf) - unfortunately tywin lannister's trueborn son and heir was born a girl and proceeded to make that everybody else's problem. we get it by this point right

Thank you for giving me a chance to talk about my forever gal Buffy 👩🏼

My favourite character: Of course it has to be Buffy Summers. Strongest girl in the universe. I love everything about her. Her strength, her courage, her personality, her sarcasm and wit, her kindness, how much love she has for everyone around her 💗 She’s dynamic, she’s layered, she makes mistakes and she isn’t perfect. She just feels like a real person that you want to root for. We got to watch her go from adolescent to adult and persevere and survive it all. I could talk about her for hours!! SMG gives such a great portrayal of her and it’s hard to imagine anyone else in the role

Favourite episode god there’s so many good ones! Let me just say ‘The Body’ S5 E16 is one of if not the best episode of television ever, one that you’ll rarely ever want to watch again. It’s a beautiful, heartwrenching exploration of grief and mourning. and in a show that deals with so much death and destruction from monsters the worst loss you have is a human death by natural causes 💔 That episode is so hard to revisit so I’m gonna give you a favourite that is a fun one! ‘Tabula Rasa’ S6 E08. In the episode, a spell goes bad and every character forgets who they are and it’s just so funny. You get a lot of references to earlier episodes and funny jabs about the characters usual selves and the comedy was a nice break from how serious the rest of the season is

My fave couple obviously involves Buffy herself. Spuffy or Spike x Buffy! Vampire slayer and vampire. Literally trying to kill each other enemies to lovers excellence. There’s a lot to say about this ship but the thing I fell in love with most about this paring is the fact they just capture your attention in any phase of their relationship. They're just so interesting!! The constantly changing dynamic is just something special. You’re invested when they're enemies, when they're reluctant allies, when they're lovers, and when they're something undefinable by the final season. Their journey is a long one fraught with so many differences and similarities to become a real love story. But in saying that the ship was definitely toxic and not all that healthy at times but whatever!! and I understand people who don’t like it because the writers certainly made a choice in one particular episode that really does sour the relationship. Also sorry not sorry if you’re a Bangel fan lol 😅 I have some fave ship quotes I can share too because look at the material:

Fave season has to be S3. Buffy’s last year of high school and the introduction of Faith, another slayer! The ‘big bad’ of the season Mayor Wilkins is one of the best too. It had great overarching themes, amazing character development and a satisfying conclusion. The season as a whole is probably the series most consistent and some of the best episodes are from it. It is just stacked with contenders if I sat here and named it would be the whole season 😂 ‘The Wish’ is a goodie, ‘The Prom’ is <3 ‘Helpless’ is just !!!! and the 2 part finale ‘Graduation Day’ is spectacular! It’s a fan favourite with good reason

The best villain is so hard because there’s so many great options, I’d say S3s Mayor Wilkins or S5s Glory. Mayor Wilkins is a reminder that the worst guy in the world is probably a white male politician lol!! he was also a demonic snake for anyone that doesn’t know 😂 and Glory! Buffy battled all kinds of vampires and demons and the S5 rolls around and her enemy is a legit God from a hell dimension😳 and by far the worst has to be S6s pack of complete losers ‘The Trio’ that these days we’d call incels 😂

Checked the #TeenWolf fandom fics and there's suddenly an influx of Scott hate and i find it fucking absurd so here

(You have your fave/faves i have mine and i don't play blind cause it's convenient)

The only thing wrong is that Scott has literally died AT LEAST TWICE and nobody has ever seen to it that he is okay. Yes, he is the alpha but like Stiles said in season 4 “Team Captain, Alpha Werewolf, you’re still only human.” then in a complete turn-around in season 5 Stiles accuses Scott of not being human. I like Stiles, but if Scott doesn’t understand a decision that Stiles made then Stiles says it’s because he’s not human. Stiles is Scott’s best friend so he knows what he fears most, one of said fears is losing his humanity and Stiles uses it to his advantage a lot. Sorry if this offends you, but Stiles may only be human, but sometimes he is less human than Scott. So please write more if fics like this because there are not nearly enough of them.

They all went through traumatic experiences, yes, but really I’d wager that it is worst for Scott. Not only does Scott have a martyr complex, but starting on that fateful day he has been trampled by dear, found numerous dead bodies, mind controlled by a psychotic werewolf, been hunted for YEARS, saw friends die, see his friend date his Ex, nearly have his and Stiles and Allison’s dad or mom be sacrificed, was sacrificed himself, became an Alpha and the only person who could help him understand the chances that brought from a werewolf’s perspective left, lost his anchor, nearly went insane, was nearly killed by his possessed best friend, had his first love die in his arms then shortly after saw one of his pack die, then he has to go to Mexico and ends up getting tortured, finds Derek then has to fix Derek, nearly gets killed again, accidentally injured a freshman, ends up having to bite said freshman, sees someone get killed by a tomahawk, has to find a way to help his new Beta, ends up number one on a deadpool, feels like he failed those he wasn’t able to save, still has NO idea what the heck he is doing, gets kidnapped and taken back to Mexico, where he is once again mind-controlled by a psychotic were and nearly kills his pack, has to fight the father of a pack member, then ends losing(almost for good) his most trusted Beta, then there is the chimeras, Dread Doctors, and Theo, gets KILLED by someone he thought he could trust, lost his pack, attacked by his best friend mere hours after dying, has to fight to get his pack back while figuring out multiple mysteries, fighting a gigantic werewolf from a long time ago, has to break someone out of Eichen House again, nearly has his friends die again, ends up getting his neck clawed and being forced to see all his memories of his first love who ends up saving him because of that, watches a former friend who killed get sent to hell, loses another girlfriend, nobody asks if he is okay, then there is the fact that all of basically everybody’s memories of his best friend/brother erased from their memory, has to find a way to get him back, gets him back then loses him again, as well as a Beta, everyone that he had been working to SAVE end up trying to kill him, suffers nearly unbearable losses, faces extreme fear and sense of failure, watches an enemy turned mentor die, has to claw his own eyes out and is so off that he almost loses the ability to regrow them, still NO-ONE asks if he is okay, just drag him into a literal war. Yet not once does anyone truly make him admit that he is so far from okay I wonder if he even remembers what that feels like. He nearly let himself die of guilt, nearly sets himself on fire and he gets one comforting speech from Stiles and that’s it. And less than a year later he is nearly set on fire and he is so far trying to ignore that fact that he asks why nobody used the guns they had and all he gets is a very concerned look from Derek. Someone help Scott! He has been nearly killed by most EVERYONE in his pack, yet no one says a thing about it.

everybody has its own thing and also I just wanted to say that if yoga was helpful, may I suggest also stretching exercises in general for the body? they helped me a whole lot when my anxiety got very physical to the point that it was mostly panic! also I relate to listening music at ungodly volumes (and like it just isn't fait that you just can't ugh, without consequences) and also to sudokus/crosswords. in general I think that anything that helps with changing the anxious trajectory of your mind helps!

and you are absolutely welcome, as I am absolutely loving what you are working with! and I absolutely love the aemond's children head canon (especially Vaella! my precious babe!).

no bestie, believe me... as somebody who was very scared of starting the driving lessons, it's all one thing at the time. it's also all about having a good teacher - mostly for the practical sessions - like my own was... straight up mean, but he helped me a lot + I practiced driving a lot with my dad who was further calm and explained things in a better way. so, I swear it's doable! but you also should do everything at your own pace and when you feel more comfortable.

Oh gosssh, when I stretch, I can definitely feel my whole self restarting, I do love stretching! Also, the worst feeling ever is when you can feel yourself accumulating tension in the body and then you stretch and you feel all nice and loose-limbed and you're like, HUH, this feels so DIFFERENT. These dramas are the best, for me at least, and the ones that made me feel the most. 👌🏻

* Crash Landing On You 🏔

- This has been my black whole for kdramas-I went in and I never came back. This drama made me fall in love with kdramas.

- It is funny, romantic and heartwarming at the same time. It showed that sometimes strangers can be more home than your family.

- I loved the second couple just as much as the main.

- This helped me a lot through this year, I went through a hardcore ‘separation anxiety’ when it ended.

Feels like: a sunny day under a tree surrounded by flowers in full bloom 🌸🌺

Romance: so strong that it can light up the whole of North Korea (not my words)

well you know. i am a sucker for pets and this is just so so charming and lovely. sam and bucky acting married? even though they aren't together yet but you just already feel at home with them? i do love that a lot. and my god the characterization... it's just flows so easily i love it!

my fave kind of aus are the ones where one of the characters is just really good at cooking. and this fic?? oh my god. so good. food truly is love. it's even more lovely when sam is the one cooking it like sign me up! best part about this fic is that you think you know what the plot twist is but the real plot twist catches you off guard and makes you even happier. i cried laughed with this fr. also developed a new love for food so.. hell yeah

i never say no to arctic monkeys references on titles that's just who i am as a person. op is extremely creative with the dreams concept and sam is so, so humane and so complex and so well written it fascinates me. i wish to shake op's hand and thank them for my life. extremely well done and emotional in all the right places, just. My thoughts on Episode 5--Out of the Ashes.

Okay, though.  I’m already excited about this one because Carol and Lydia are on the little guide picture thingy, lol.  My girls.  

As usual, I’m going to put the rest underneath a cut to save you lovelies potentially being spoiled should you not want to be.  

Wow.  Look at that full moon.  And the colors in the woods.  

I’m telling you.  These cold opening scenes have been generally pretty awesome this season.  

Aaron with Gracie always gives us such sweetness but this time maybe not.  

Omigosh.  Now *that* is a nightmare--the Walkers, the Wolves, the Saviors, the Whisperers, Mays.  Did I miss anybody?  And then Gracie gone just like that?  Poor Aaron.  All he wants is to keep his little girl safe and happy.  

So.  Is Gracie sleeping right next to her daddy because she had a nightmare or because her daddy’s been having them?  Because either way, oh my freaking heart.  Especially at her still sleeping with her stuffed bunny.  I’m really, really hoping that bunny isn’t a bad omen of sorts for our Gracie, because little girls with bunnies haven’t fared all that well--going all the way back to the first episode and as recently as the subway episode where Daryl found that picture of the two siblings after they’d already found the bunny from the picture amongst the bodies.  Please not Gracie.  Aaron has already been through so much.  

Are they all just communing together now?  Because I can see how that would harken back to Season 4.  

Jerry!  Not even 3 minutes in and already two of my faves are present.  I can tell this is going to be a good episode.  

That really sucks.  Not even being able to take a peaceful piss because you can see Walkers shambling past your window, lol.  

There goes my queen running straight at danger as real queens are apt to do.  ;)  

Were there always lights coming on in the windmill during the opening credits or is that a new thing for this episode?  

That orientation video was so surreal.  Had to laugh at the political touch of having “this message is approved by Pamela Milton” at the end.  

Okay.  So they’re getting their work assignments, huh?  Orientations are the worst, lol.  All that damn paperwork.  

Retail clerk--Princess being excited at the prospect of working in a mall, even having a mall again, has me LMAO even as I’m like girl.  No.  You’ll love it ‘til you hate it.  

I didn’t catch Eugene’s job.  But Ezekiel doing animal control kind of cracks me up.  For reasons.  

So.  Essentially Eugene and Princess and Ezekiel got blue collar jobs while Yumiko’s got an invitation to join the upper crust.  

I love Lydia being accepted as part of the community.  About damn time.  

For a second I thought Rosita said what’s left of the horses plural and I was fixin’ to go OH NO.  

This is where I’m at on the Maggie/Negan issue, for better or worse:  Maggie absolutely, IMHO, has earned the right to stay mad at Negan for the rest of her days.  Because Glenn.  Because her little boy was robbed of his daddy.  That said?  I don’t think I have it in me to watch 5 more episodes of this beaten horse antagonistic conversation much less a whole season.  It would be one thing if it hadn’t already stolen valuable and earned screen time from other characters that seem to have been pushed to the periphery to spotlight it like it was the marquee event or something.  I don’t want want 2/3′s of the final season so heavily focused on the conflict between these two when there are so many characters that are already woefully underutilized.  It’s only compelling if it doesn’t become commonplace.  

It’s a sad business having to put down people you know, I’d expect.  Funny, though.  We never knew them so the impact is kind of artificial.  I appreciate the intent of the scene, though.  

Where the hell are all the Walkers coming from?  Like, I thought most of them went skydiving off that cliff without parachutes.  

Judith training the other babies.  If only her parents--every damn one of them--could see her now.  

Gus!  How cool and awesome for him!

ASZ is just full of asshole teens isn’t it?  How dare that little dipshit push our Asskicker down like that and say such hateful things?  To be fair, though, the kid is probably just repeating what he’s heard from others and I’m glad they’re being realistic here even if I don’t like seeing Judith cry.  

Cailey Fleming’s expressive face and eyes!  This kid has my heart, ya’ll.  

That perfectly pretty cake wasted!  LMAO.  Seriously though.  How does a cardiothoracic surgeon end up assigned to work in the bakery?  Yumiko’s reunion with her brother Tomi honestly was on par with what I’d expect from someone seeing the sister they’d long given up as dead.  

Freaky still how the Whisperers choose to herd the dead even without Beta and Alpha.  

Was that the real Stephanie in the scene with the ice cream?  Right under Eugene’s nose while he’s with Fake Stephanie?  They have a connection, ya’ll.  Eugene felt it.  

Okay, though.  I wanted the kids having their first ice cream cones.  If I were Eugene, though, I probably would have inhaled that thing after being deprived for so long.  

The Milton Hotel?  Alrighty then.  Somebody feels self-important.  

Aww.  Eugene’s thinking of Rosita and Coco.  They really have evolved into such a sweet, good friendship and I miss them together.  

Literally, I love Princess more each time I see her and hear her open her hilarious mouth.  LOL at her with the ice cream cone.  

Is everybody in ASZ staying in the same damn house?  Whoever broke the board with Carl’s and Judith’s handprints on it needs an ass kicking.  

“Me, too.”  Welp.  Guess RJ’s already met his line quota per appearance 24 minutes in, LOL.  

Aww.  My heart.  A Rosita/Judith scene.  I’m already loving it but not gonna lie.  Who do we have topay to get a Carol/Judith scene because she’s been there since Judith was an embryo?  

“Now it’s broken.  He’s gone.  Everybody is.”  The way this scene is unexpectedly gutting me right now.  Because Rosita’s right.  It never really gets easier.  It’s just something you figure out how to carry.  How many people devastated by Covid or other illness or tragedy are carrying these same feelings of loss and hurt everyday?  

Give us more of those heartfelt moments, dammit.  This girl at least craves them.  Not the endless Maggie/Negan conflict.  

Ouch.  “I think I haven’t met a Whisperer who wasn’t a liar.”  Damn Aaron.  Lydia’s right there beside you. 

Angry Jerry hurts my heart in ways I cannot explain.  

On a completely shallow note, Miko’s brother is attractive too.  I quite like his accent, lol.  I wonder why he’s so hesitant to put his skills as a surgeon to use.  

“Want some cake?”/”Hell, yes.”  Yumiko=me 99% of the time.  LOL.  Just kidding.  In reality, I have to say no.  

“They clearly got a gym in this joint.  Your chiseling is perfecto.”  LMAO.  I’m all for Princess/Mercer.  She flusters him a little and I’m loving it.  When she told him he had beautiful eyelashes, I howled.  

Oh my sweet Aaron.  I’m in the same kind of pain and disbelief as Lydia watching you interrogate that Whisperer.  

Thank you, Carol.  Melissa McBride?  I effing LOVE you.  My heart hurts.  

I’m sure she’s gonna get hate from the usual crowd while they cheer Aaron further along his dark and desperate path.  Yes.  Ya’ll are *that* predictable.  

But Maggie, though?  How long you gonna wait?  Because you gonna be waiting on Daryl’s ass a long time.  

“Cheesy video guy.” LOL.  Leave it to Princess.  Somehow that Lance dude looks even cheesier in RL.  

By the screaming cave?  What the hell is the screaming cave?  

Ohh.  Next episode actually looks interesting.  Thank goodness it’s not a bottle episode strictly focusing on Virgil/Connie though because no matter how much I like Connie/Lauren?  I don’t think whatever story she’s stuck in with Virgil is enough to keep me riveted to the tv.  

Overall impression of this episode--again, I enjoyed it.  Aaron’s dream was dark AF.  Hell.  Aaron was dark AF in this episode.  Ross Marquand did some really strong work and I’m glad he finally got a moment to shine even though I hate seeing him leaning into the darkness instead of his inherent goodness.  Judith and Rosita’s scenes were touching.  Carol/Melissa made me bawl in the span of two minutes.  That’s why she’s the MVP of this show, lovelies.  She does so very much with so little.  I’m just glad we didn’t have to see Leah and her band of bitchass brothers this episode.  

I’m going to miss this show when it’s gone.  At least I’ll have the Carol and Daryl spinoff off to ease my heartache.
