Derek and Stiles meet on the day of their graduation. It's supposed to be the start of the rest of their lives, yet they can't get rid of each other no matter how hard they both try. They weren't meant to meet that night, they weren't meant to be in each other's lives for the rest of it, yet they can't get rid of each other. Over the course of the next 15 years, they keep intersecting in each other's lives becoming the main reasons for why they keep on going.

you know those fics where the plot is like. sterek who had something but it didn't escalate to anything. and then they get back together a couple months/years later when they're all healed or whatever.

ok that but imagine it with derek who is down bad for stiles and KNOWS stiles is the biggest swiftie to exist and. and basically follows taylor's advice in "how you get the girl" to get stiles...

like idk HOW it would work but it would be PERFECT.. derek goes to stiles apartment and it was RAINED so perfectly and of course derek is all heartbroken puppy in stiles' doorsteps and of course it's stiles so he will obviously say "derek, are you insane?! it's pouring out there! come in!" because, derek thinks, even if he broke stiles' heart, of course stiles would still care about him and let him in because this is stiles we're talking about and he'll always be nice and perfect

and when derek's inside and all dried up and surrounded by stiles' perfect, amazing scent, he sees the moment stiles' frown and his brows furrow probably to be mad at derek finally for suddenly being here after breaking up with him or whatever and instantly derek is like [opens up taylor swift vault in mind] "it's been a long [however time it's been] and i was too afraid to tell you what i wanted" because of COURSE taylor's lyrics perfectly fit what derek wanted to say and then cue stiles' slack expression as he looks at derek and derek takes the cheesy one step forwards to stiles, cups his face with his palms and goes "i want you for worse or for better, i would wait forever and ever for you. i know i broke your heart but i'll put it back together"

and then stiles having the craziest moment of his life because hello. DEREK HALE CONFESSING TO HIM but also. those words. are those. did he just. DID YOU JUST QUOTE TAYLOR SWIFT AT ME?!?

i hate how people can just easily erase and forget and overlook a platonic relationship that had key importance to the show/movie they're apart of, like people talk about them at first, but when the second a romantic relationship is "more important" to talk about, most of the fandom drops it and forgets it when it's convenient for them because apparently it's not as important as romance 😒

I’m a freaking fierce Sterek apologist and most of the time I could bite anyone who tell that Stiles is with anyone else but Derek…BUT SOMETIMES I have this creeping Idea that the Hale pack ( like what should be the Hale pack with everyone alive) is just a big polymorous polycule that’s had everyone,aside of their own couples and trouples, just revolved around Stiles, because he is everyone crush! Well not EVERYBODY is actually romantically attracted to Stiles but at least one person of each polycule is (almost).

Last year of high school students and professors where now quite used to the strange dynamics of a very specific groupe of student.

First it was the two power hetero couples : Lydia and Aiden, the couple looked perfect, like greeks statues and they were fierce and the archetype of high school’s couples.

You also had Erica and Boyd, the two had made talk at first because how Erica bombshel Reyes could be with Vernon Stoic Boyd? But soon enough people had seen that their was something in this couple that made total sense and that they were actually quite a good fit for each other.

Secondly you had the polycules: the « sweet square » , as they been called by Beacon Hills high’s student because it was just all of the cute student of the whole high school,composed of Allison, Kira, Scott and Isaac. Not everyone understood how they fit in the polycule, who was with who? Until they discovered that everyone loved everyone and that it was working perfectly. They were blinding people with the happiness and cuteness radiating from them each time someone saw them all together cuddling.

On the other hand existed the « holy triangle », Jackson, Ethan and Danny. The trouple had Ethan at the center of their romantic relationship (even if it never stop Jackson and Danny to hook up sometimes). The three of then always made girls squeaked when they walk the halls either because they were the sexiest boys or because they were like fanfiction’s materials.

Thirdly you had the two classic (not totally) gay couples: Mason and Corey where the absolutely cutest couple. Always smiling, always sweet with each other. A total cute puppy love. Almost an anomaly in this groupe of weirdos.

Next to them you had the chaotic couple Liam and Theo. Always bickering, always throwing insults to each other or sometimes litteraly fighting with their fist but beware the fool who allow himself to insult one of them, the other would distroy the impudent!

Fourthly you had the free spirits, the free electrons: Malia who still had some difficulties to keep with human ways and who was hooking up with mostly Scott and Parrish, Cora who loved peoples but couldn’t stay with just one person because it was to much for her at this point she was mostly hooking up with Lydia or sometimes Isaac, Hayden was not always here since she had moved from town with her sister she would have this relationship with Liam but everyone knew that she had a boyfriend back home

So everyone in high school or even in Beacon Hills was used to those dynamics but the thing that was difficult to understand was: How does Stiles Stilinski fit into all of this?

It was usual to see Lydia took suddenly Stiles arm and kiss him unashamedly in the middle of the hall, staying the day with him will Aiden was doing his little life with his friends or even gave a friendly pat in Stiles’ back. People who walk through the hall would often cross Erika pulling him into a full mouth kiss, her against the lockers him pull against her. Then she would hold his hand possessively, sometimes Boyd would hold the other hand of the sheriff son other time he would hold Erica’s. During Lacrosse practice Isaac would be stuck against Stiles sometimes holding him from behind his head on his shoulder and kissing softly his cheek while whispering in his ear making him blush. Allison would sometimes kiss him in the corner of his mouth as she walk past him as they went from one class to another (it was more of a platonic love then a real relationship for them) Scott was the puppy who would pass days following his best friend around, Kira would give him hugs and soft kisses on his cheeks because the boy became her bestfriend . Sometimes Jackson could be seen in the boys’ lockers, his forearm near the brunette head Stiles’ back against his own locker both of them kissing in a kind of hungry aggressive way, Danny would flirt with him just to tease him and Ethan would eat alone with Stiles to take some advice on how to handle being in a throuple with two bestfriends. Mason, Corey and Liam were like the three puppies that Stiles protected, it was a kind of mother/son love in their case. If they were in need of advice or just wanted to have someone to confort them they would run straight to him. And when they will do something stupid or dangerous he will just yell or give them the biggest sarcastic answers possible. Stiles was a caring guy yes but he was also the biggest bitchy person in this town. But you could see that Liam had like this monumental crush on Stiles, People in town would saw Theo and Stiles argue violently at the coffee shop and ten minute after that they would make out in the dark alley next said coffee shop, kind of the same love/hate relationship as the one with Jackson but more chaotic because who knew that Jackson Whittemore would be a softie sometimes. Malia would suddenly kiss Stiles in the hall of the school or in town and just walk away like it was just a normal thing to do, Stiles would walk away the same with a « hey Malia », the Stilinski’s neighbor would see her crawl to Stiles’ window every now and then but their relationship is more healthy now. Cora as a Hale would so exactly the same climbing to the window, to have some cuddles party or more sometimes but their relationship was softer than anyone could have thought, it was little hands brushing in the halls, little kiss on the cheeks when they are out. Stiles is litteraly like Catnip for the Hales. Hayden was pretty much in the same relationship with Stiles than Corey and Mason, he was like a bitchy mom and would call her anytime he could to check on her.

But everyone could swear that the eighteenth boy had someone that could be called a boyfriend. A black camaro was often park in frond of the school, with Derek Hale waiting for Stiles. Said young man would run to him to through himself at his neck and kiss him like they where separated for months. And the majority of the time the older one would throw hard threatening looks to anyone coming near his boyfriend , some people could swear that they heard him growl like a big dog.

Slowly one new unexpected couple had appeared in town: Peter Hale and Chris Argent. The two where like fire and ice and still they seem to be madly in love with each other in their strange way.

And when Stiles get to his 25 yo those two familiar faces where add to the pictures. Peter Hale seems to have a deep relationship with his nephew's boyfriend. Yes it was weird for the people outside because really, the four remaining Hale?! The sheriff’s son was really this attractive for them?! They would go to library or debate coffee. They would talk quite happily about things that the mundane couldn’t understand. And the man would walk with his hand on the small of Stiles’ back or arms in arms. Peter would kiss Stiles’ head tenderly. Sometimes Chris Argent was with them. His hand between Stiles' shoulder blades. It was more platonic but the man would throw death glare everytime someone would laugh at the three or them or when someone would bump hard on Stiles in the street.

And everybody whispered questions like: Does the sheriff know about what his son is up to? Do they are a kind of cult and Stiles is the guru? How doeos Stiles can hide to his clearly really possessive boyfriend (cause those hickeys and bite marks on his neck could only be his) the fact that he have relationships with so many people?

One Day as Stiles and the whole pack (the sheriff and Melissa included) where celebrating Stiles' Birthday at the Jungle, because where this many people could fit in this town exept for this club, plus Danny knew the boss well, a foolish young man came to dance with Stiles. His body against the his back, touching his hips and trying to hit on him, he thought that this pretty boy belong to a lot of people so why not him. And that's when all of Beacon Hills’ citizens would know that Derek knew quite well that his mate had relationship with other pack’s members. But he didn’t mind as soon as some rules where followed. And this guy didn't seemed to listen when Stiles tried to push him off and didn't follow the rule one : Be a pack member. The Alpha werewolf leaped to them and pushed the guy away like he weight nothing, snarling and growling at him as he pulled Stiles against him. Soon all the others would come to protect their pack mom, each of them brushing against Stiles back or arms to get rid of the stranger's smell on him. Stiles easily made them calm down. Melissa, Noah and Chris would look at this display of possessiveness with shaking heads and laughs.

And people learned since this: Stiles Stilinski was not just a horny guy who would make out with anybody in the back of his boyfriend. He was in a real poliamourous dynamic (And maybe a cult, really they where all living in the Hale house for a few years now, totally a cult).

This night, after the party Derek would write on his laptop the rules that people had to follow if they wanted to apply for a place in the policul.

Rule to be Stiles Stilinski lover

Rule one: Be part of the pack

Rule two: Nobody except Derek Hale have the right to mark Stiles Stilinski

Rule Three: Always listening to Stiles and how he his feeling, never force our need on him.

Rule four: Only Derek Hale can touch Stiles Stilinski's neck

Rule five: Stiles Stilinski is Derek Hale's mate, Don't try to ask Stiles Stilinski to marry you.

Rule Six: Stiles Stilinski have the priority on Derek Hale's Time, it works the other way too. If you plan on taking my time you will disappear.

He looked at his screen before he snorted and closed it. It would certainly piss the Sheriff if he printed that and put it everywhere in town. Stiles would love it tho...

The fact that Lydia feels so guilty for pushing Meredith over the edge, but Stiles is right there to comfort her, and to remind her that she wasn't alone there, and she isn't alone now.

The fact that, just like always, their combined brain power and abilities finally solves the puzzle, because they finish each other's thoughts and understand each other in a way that no one else does.

The fact that, while Lydia's bansheeing and typing, Stiles just gets right next to her, reminding her that he's there, and providing the comfort and support that she needs (and yes, this is Stydia centric, but don't think I'm just going to IGNORE that, according to Lydia, DEREK'S GONNA DIE. NOT OKAY. PLEASE STOP THAT FROM HAPPENING!).

The fact that they're so quick to analyze and skim and plan their next move once they see the new names (notable names include Satomi, Malia, LIAM, and Meredith...).

The fact that Stiles gets closer to Lydia the second he realizes she's in distress from the phone call so that he can listen in and be there for her (also just the fact that Meredith's dead period is so f*cking sad and I feel so bad for her, and I wish she hadn't felt so trapped that she felt the need to do that, because that's so f*cking awful.).

The fact that she just turns to Stiles in pure shock, and he just pulls her in and holds her, and he doesn't let go, even when all Lydia can do is stand there in horrified shock.

The fact that, no matter what happens, Stiles will ALWAYS be there for Lydia, and he will never let her blame herself, and never let her doubt herself, and never let her give up, because he knows how capable she is.

The fact that, no matter what happens, and what she might say, Lydia will always revel in Stiles's comfort, and she'll always need him, and she'll always love him, and ultimately, she would do anything for him, because she would rather die than lose him.

Okay okay. That was a big ol’ start.

The smaller things.

That tiny little Sciles scene at the end, where Stiles is the only other person that Scott told about the money, and they're both staring at it like they're not sure how they feel about it, but they also know they both need it, and because they're Sciles, they decide that the next best thing to do is count it and go from there. It's such a small thing, but you know me--I take every small Sciles thing I can get. ;)

And then, another small thing: Kate and Chris, OMG. Like, okay, as much as I hate Kate, I kind of feel bad for her and Chris in this situation. No matter what's happened and how much bad has gone down between them, they're still brother and sister, and neither of them really wants to hurt the other. And I don't trust Peter for a SECOND (because why would I?), but I know he's right about the fact that Kate just wants her family back, and despite the code, and despite all the bad that Kate has done, I'm sure Chris wants the exact same thing. And that HURTS, and I'm honestly really hoping for a Kate redemption arc, because I would love to see both of them reunite having grown and learned from their mistakes and maybe finally be on the same side again.

AND THEN SPEAKING OF KATE AND CHRIS!

THE FREAKING BIGGIE!

SCOTT AND ARGENT AND SCOTT AND DEATON AND SCOTT AND LIAM AND FREAKING SCOTT!!

The fact that, after that crazy fight with Kate, Chris's first concern is Scott. And the way he looks at him once he realizes that Violet is dead and they've lost their only lead....

The FACE that Scott makes, so dejected and feeling like a failure because he thinks he's already lost his Beta, but Chris is so determined to convince him that there's still time, and they can still find him.

And then LIAM, trying SO hard to get out, but SO hurt and getting SO tired, and using his last bit of strength to just release that howl ("How do wolves signal their location to the rest of the pack?" "They howl." <3 <3), and Scott HEARS IT!

And the way he turns his head, this new hope that's also filled with concern, because THAT'S HIS BETA.

And they were SOOO far, so you KNOW that he BOOKED it, and he MADE IT, and at the LAST SECOND, when Liam was losing every ounce of strength he had left, Scott GRABBED HIM, and he SAVED HIM!!

And Liam is so scared, and in so much pain, but he just looks at Scott in utter relief.

And Scott is so worried, but there’s relief in his face and his voice, telling Liam he's okay, but also questioning it, because he has to make sure, and the way Liam just looks at him, and Scott just sighs in relief, and repeats it, because they both need to hear it.

And then he PULLS HIM IN, and he holds onto him with EVERYTHING HE HAS, and he just closes his eyes, and convinces himself that he's there, because he ALMOST LOST HIM, but he's OKAY, and he's HERE, and he's OKAY.

AND THEN WHEN THEY FINALLY GET HIM TO DEATON!

AND DEATON HEALS HIM!

AND SCOTT JUST PUTS THAT GENTLE FOREARM ON HIS FOREHEAD TO SETTLE HIM!

AND BRUSHES HIS HAIR AWAY FROM HIS FOREHEAD IN THE PROCESS!

HE CARES ABOUT HIM SO MUCH I CANNOT!

THEY LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH AND HAVE ALREADY BONDED SO WELL AND I JUST--

Is she the crimson apple of every classmate’s eye? Yes. Does she have the highest GPA among every single one of her courses. Also yes. Whether it’s tutoring her friends through their trigonometry and calculus assignments, or handing out advice on how to turn guys down, Lydia is a woman as adaptive as a promising Athena child could be. Though, she is keenly aware of how effective pleasure and beauty can be when wielded with a charming smile.

She’s so Barbie. High Achiever. Speaks Facts.

Malia Tate - Child of Ares

She can and will kick your teeth in. Why? Maybe you insulted Stiles’ fast paced and ranting speech patterns, or cut Kira in line for stupid cafeteria mashed potatoes. Or maybe you just smiled wrong when she revealed her score on the latest exam, ending with some blood getting on the crumpled stack of papers, somehow. With a unrelenting and one track mind, Malia’s bloodline isn’t that hard to track, especially when she catches even a whisper of the latest monster attack. She’ll be out the door of her algebra class before the doors have swung close.

“You don’t get to bully them, that’s my job” Friend. Tried to teach Liam how to fight - he’s nearly died twice. Barbie if Barbie was feral and had an axe.

Kira Yukimura - Child of Hephaestus

Daughter of the Greek god of artisans, metalworking, and fire, Kira is a shining prodigy among the her siblings. Taken with the art of metal work as she shapes searing metal into beautiful, deadly effective tools. Her fondest achievements becoming her versatile supply of weapons, gleaming obsidian, shurikens as well as her steady sword. If her arm is decorated with three bracelets of various blinding reds, five detailed rings across her hands of neon yellow and her ears have one too many cuffs that are definitely about to fall off, she’ll tell you she’s just really into jewelry right now.

Doesn’t choose sides in a debate friend. Will do your homework if you let her. Show Off but Subtle. Metalwork Barbie who can and will talk to you about all her weapons.

you know stdia was a rushed fan service when you remember dylans interviews and he was so sure stalia was endgame. stdias be like "they were always the plan" but not even THE ACTOR was given that info so what now

Oh, absolutely.

The entire cast shipped Stalia, Dylan himself and Shelley being the biggest shippers if i may say so myself. Dylan was never told of the Stydia twist in the last season bc there were simply no plans for it to happen. Shelley also denied any weird love triangle allegations when she was asked by a interviewer bc again, there was nothing between Stydia til the end where it ruined the entire show and regressed Stiles’ character from the development he had moving on from obsessing over Lydia and finding the importance of finding someone who reciprocates that is Malia. Stydia was never a thing, it’s the most crackship pairing i have ever come across it’s actually bizarre how popular it is given they have no chemistry on screen nor any romantic interactions together.

It was Stiles’ usual night out with his friends. They were at their usual bar, and, of course, discussing his latest case - or, as many of the details that he could legally share.

Danny was laughing at his anecdotes, and adding his own. Erica and Boyd were snuggled up and being snarky. Isaac was making quips at Stiles’ expense. Jackson was reminding, for the millionth time, that he would absolutely not bail Stiles out of jail. Peter and Kira were commiserating about Stiles being their biggest headache, and the drinks were flowing freely. All in all, Stiles was having a really great night!

And really, he could only blame the six beers he’d had for what happened next. And the fact that he had not been thinking at all in that moment.

One minute, he was laughing at something Isaac had said, leaning into Danny for support, and the next, his vision had honed in on Derek and Jordan standing at the bar, laughing to themselves.

It looked like Jordan had his hand on Derek’s arm. They were standing way too close to each other for Stiles’ liking. And then, Stiles was standing from his table, and walking right on over to them.

Sliding right in next to Derek, before Stiles could even realize what he was doing, he leaned up and licked Derek right across the cheek. Then, he turned and stared Jordan down. And Jordan? Well. He just burst out laughing. And that’s when it all hit Stiles.

“Uh…” he said eloquently.

“What the hell?” Derek asked. And all Stiles could do was blink up at him as Derek grabbed a napkin from the bar and wiped his cheek.

“Um. Oops?”

“Oops? Stiles, how the hell is licking me an ‘oops’ situation?” Jordan had calmed his laughter down by now, sort of, and addressed Stiles himself.

“Oh my god, chill out. He’s yours, Stiles. Absolutely yours,” Jordan emphasized, glancing at Derek, who glared right back at Jordan.

“I am not his, Jordan.”

“He licked you. So you’re his,” Jordan said through another fit of giggles. Derek sighed.

“Jordan, you are 35 years old. How are as mature as a 12-year-old?”

“The Stilinski Effect, most likely.”

“Wait,” Stiles said, brain finally coming back online. “Which Stilinski?”

“Yes,” was all Jordan said, with a sombre nod. “Anyway, have a great rest of your night, Stiles.” Then he grabbed the drinks that had been put in front of him, and walked away to a different table, Derek following along.

On slightly shaky legs, Stiles wandered back to his own table, and collapsed next to Danny in a heap.

“Stiles. I know I have given you a lot of flak for how you’ve gone about courting my nephew. But that. That was truly a masterclass in disaster.” Peter was grinning at him like the cat that caught the canary. All Stiles could do was sigh as the others burst out laughing.
