Having a study period in the library usually worked in Evie's favor. It gave her time to get ahead on her homework, and sketch out possible art pieces. (And play Candy Crush on her phone.) Most importantly, it gave her a chance to terrorize Ricky when his English class had their weekly visit.

Standing over where he sat against a stack of non fiction books, she asked, "When are you going to stop moping and talk to Achilles again?"

Ricky looked up from the book he was reading and frowned immediately. Evie almost smiled at the comical switch in his mood. It was nice to know that he disliked her as much as she disliked him.

"Don't look so excited to me, Bowen," she grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest."I'm trying to help you here."

He turned back to his book. "I'm trying to learn about food scarcity during the World War here, so if you could stop bothering me that'd be nice."

She snorted. "We both know you're watching Achilles and Auggie like a creep."

The two of them were curled together at a table, whispering conspiratorially about something. Evie could see Auggie's golden hand resting on Achilles jean covered knee under the table. It felt weird - wrong even.

Which was a bit unfair, really. She liked Auggie. He was funny, and goofy, and he always shared his snacks with her in their AP Physics class. But he wasn't Achilles' person, and they all knew that. Even he probably knew that.

Ricky followed her gaze, eyes scanning Achilles' giggling face and the pleased color of Auggie's smile. His eyes shone with hurt, and he bit the inside of his cheek, forcing his gaze back to his book. "I'm not watching them. I'm reading. Whatever they do is not my business."

Evie scoffed. She hated that he was trying to be mature. He should've been fighting harder. "You're acting like such a loser. You're Ricky Bowen, the most annoyingly persistent person in the world. You can't just let some pretty boy steal Achilles from you!"

"Are you.." He was surprised enough to close his book, giving her his full attention. "Are you trying to give me a pep talk?"

She rolled her eyes, squirming under his gaze. His stare was just like Achilles' - wide eyed and intense, entirely too open and easy to read. "Don't make it weird. I just think you shouldn't let Auggie sneak his hot boy fangs into Achilles' neck," - Achilles' was hyperfixated on vampires and it was starting to seep into her brain - "You two have something.. special, and you shouldn't just try to force yourself to move on."

Ricky frowned. "He doesn't want anything to do with me. And I shouldn't ruin whatever he has going on with Auggie. That's unfair to both of them."

"God, you're so - " She cut herself off with a groan. He was annoying. "Everyone else can see it but you. Achilles is so into you that it's a little unbearable at times. You're all he talks about. He had the biggest crush on you for months! No offense to Auggie, but he doesn't hold a candle to what Achilles feels for you." She kicked him in the knee, to offset the sort of fond look he was giving her. Freak. "So get off your ass and talk to him. Got it?"

She walked away as he groaned in pain over his knee, ignoring the way passion was making her chest feel like it was about to explode. Stupid Ricky Bowen, making her feel good things for him.

[LINK] - Episode 3.5 (ask) - a little overview of the base so far!

Okay, welcome to Episode #4, folks. Its been an exciting few weeks of raids, illnesses, and wild animal attacks, so I think our MCs are due a nice period of calm to relax, take stock, build up our base, and enjoy the bonds of friendship.

ok so we took stock, the stocks aren't great.

Turns out doubling your colony size overnight really hits you in the food department! Who knew. Fortunately, we do have some folks who know a thing or two about crops and gardening, so we've now got two thriving farms, as well as some chickens (Wilbur and Clementine) and our new cow (Tallulah) who we traded some nomads for.

omg the baby chicks are sleeping in the hay that's so cute 😭

(also, something weird happened and all of our crops were turned into strawberries for like a week before I noticed? We had to replant everything lmao. Idk who was behind that one)

Its been nice to just see folks bonding and chatting about stuff while they work too 😊 At the moment, Evie and Luca are the OG colony besties - Evie helps Luca with their building projects quite a bit, so they have lots of time for Top Notch banter. Clearly.

Some of the other colonists are finding comfort in each other in this harsh and unforgiving jungle too 👀 A few situationships have started to crop up here and there?? (and I find it utterly hilarious that once again, its mostly the Blades MCs who are Blades MC-ing)

Lunarix has made their MAMA debut! Attending both days of the award show, the girls were nominated for Rookie of the Year and Music Video of the Year. The girls also performed on both days, the first day performed their own song while on the second day, Yoomi joined Huh Yun-jin (Le Sserafim), Xiaoting (Kep1er), Bada Lee (Street Woman Fighter 2), Monika (Street Woman Fighter), Minnie ((G)I-dle) for the super stage "Goddess Awakened".

Being styled in sparkly white and black dresses, the girls stunned on the red carpet, posing for the cameras like pros with many heart poses and eye-catching smiles. The girls were noted to be very photogenic and playful with photographers, clearly enjoying themselves.

For their performance, the girls would perform their latest title track, "NONSENSE!" though they would not be drawing clown outfits for makeup this time around. They would be styled in simple yet quirky pink outfits.

For her part in the "Goddess Awakened" stage, Yoomi would perform a dance to "What ur Secret? (MAMA VERSION)" where only the instrumental was played while Yoomi danced with backup dancers around her in white. Yoomi's outfit was a baby pink with iridescent gemstones adorning the top of her dress.

The girls' performances were highly praised for their energy and crowdwork. At the start of their performance of "NONSENSE!" the girls actually started in the crowd, interacting with their colleagues as they sang the intro to the song. Evie started the song off sitting between Xiaoting and Chaeyeon of Kepler, looking at both the girls with an excited smile on her face before saying, "Are you ready for this?" as if she was asking them personally. It was a cute moment as the girls played along, cheering excitedly and nodding.

Once the girls all met back on stage for the chorus, they would deliver an electrifying yet fun performance. Despite giving it their all, the girls were met with a predominantly black ocean. Celestials blame this on Lunarix not having an official lightstick and the fans that were there not having any real way to show their support in the crowd besides cheering. The black ocean would cause more buzz than their performance, which only upset fans further. The girls are presumed to be ignoring this as they haven't brought it up.

Yoomi's performance, while not met with a black ocean, thank god, was met with heavy criticism from netizens as they claimed she was lacking compared to the other idols around her. Yoomi claims to have been practicing her routine for months, working with choreographers and professionals to make sure she performed to the best of her abilities. While some were critical of her, many professional dancers who reacted to the performance said that Yoomi performed very well and only seemed to lack facial expressions.

Despite their composed demeanor for the cameras, the girls couldn't keep it together behind the scenes.

Case in point: during a jewelry mishap, Taerin's pearl necklace snapped, scattering pearls everywhere. Cue collective shock from the group, drawing amused glances from other idols. Siyeon quickly shifted from laughter to action, diving into a Ricky fan cam moment as she picked up pearls while apologizing to the boys through fits of laughter.

The girls also made waves with their reactions to a certain Treasure member. As Hyunsuk appeared on screen during Treasure's performance, the camera caught Laila looking unamused and Siyeon scratching her head with a puzzled expression.

A fan-edited video showcased the girls enthusiastically reacting to Somi and (G)I-DLE's performances, only to abruptly switch to forced smiles during a boy group's act. The video became a viral reaction meme among Celestials.

Navi's genuine enjoyment of Le Sserafim's performance turned heads. Expressing shock when it ended too soon, she turned to Siyeon in disbelief, questioning, "They only get one song?" with a distressed look.

Backstage, Yoomi and Laila, dressed in performance outfits, covered Siren with Riize's Shotaro and Sungchan. The video earned praise for the girls' ability to handle challenging choreography. I never had any children but here are some of my favorite baby names I've come across and considered for if I ever had a child.

Traditionally masculine:

Roderick - Can be shortened to Roddy, Rick, or Ricky. Roderick means Glory or Ruler. Roddy McDowall's full first name. Also the name of one of the main characters from Edgar Allan Poe's Fall of the House of Usher. Roderick is also the name of the man who summoned and trapped Morpheus in the first issue / chapter / episode of Neil Gaiman's The Sandman. And a more obscure reference, Roderick is the name of Dr. Craven's father in the 1963 film, The Raven, starring Vincent Price. I would use this as a "King" name. ;-)

Jareth - A combination of Jerold and Gareth. David Bowie's character's name in Labyrinth.

Pipkin - An unrecorded Middle English name, possibly derived from Phillip. It is also the surname of one of the main characters in Ray Bradbury's The Halloween tree. Ray Bradbury used it as a cross between Pip, the hero from Charles Dickens' Great Expectations, and Pumpkin. Kin also means family. So you are saying "Pip is family." which is very sweet if you know the plot of The Halloween Tree. Kin can also mean "To be like" or "connected to." So the name (in reference to Great Expectations) also means "Like Pip."

Percy or Percival - One of King Arthur's knights, Percival, and the famous poet, Percy Shelley, husband of Mary Shelley (author of Frankenstein.)

Kit - Very old nickname for Christopher. Once was the nickname of the writer, Christopher Marlowe. Now heavily associated with the actor Kit Harington from Game of Thrones.

Jaskier - Polish. Actually means "Buttercup" but actually is considered a boy's name. Pronounced as Yas-key-er. The original Polish name of the bard from The Witcher novels. HIs name is sometimes translated to Dandelion in some of the English adaptations.

Vladislaus - I'd probably never really use this name except in absolutely very specific circumstances. This name comes from an early renaissance war hero and Prince of Eastern Europe. Vladislaus the Third of Wallachia.

Marvel depicts him now as God of Stories which fits his mythological roots as God of Invention. In the Poetic and Prose Eddas Loki invented fishing nets. Loki is also the patron of orphans and outcasts, a sympathizer of the outsider. In mythology Loki can be any gender and in Marvel Loki has been portrayed by a man and a woman.

Rowan - The Rowan plant is supposed to be good luck and a pentacle made of Rowman and tied at the points with red string or ribbon protects against black magick.

NOTE: I'm monitoring sprite relationships on an individual basis, based on what I know about the og MCs (and some of you I've straight-up asked if you want your sprite to take lovers/get/married/have children). Rimworld doesn't distinguish whether these relationships are romantic or not, so HC whatever you wish!

While I can't set particular MCs up (they are choosing their lovers themselves!), I can delete relationships. And they can also decide to break up on their own! Poly relationships are supported, and the game has Bisexual, Asexual, and Gay tags for sprites.
