I've said this before, but part of why Worm remains head-and-shoulders the strongest prose superhero work that I've ever read is that for all the arguable resultant cruft, the webserial format gives it the space it needs to actually be the grand, sprawling epic that almost every traditionally published prose superhero work keeps trying to pull off in three mid-length books or less.

Hey y'all, sorry I haven't been posting often! To make up for it, let me show you my project for one of my courses:

They want me to make a website on any topic, such as hobbies, likes, etc. So, I decided to create a website inspired by anime merchandise sites, but with a twist—a Black-owned anime merch shop called Kuronime.

I'm still working it out, figuring out what to add, what to remove, etc. I thought I should show y'all because I think it's a pretty good concept. Maybe one day I'll make this idea a reality.

Am I too late to the breath taking jokes?

You guys know I love ya, don't you? But yeah, movies! These movies are like these protagonists, absolutely wild. They're proof that, even if you have a silly and goofy concept of a movie, you will just ride it if you have very likeable characters to accompany you. These guys are so likeable, and Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter truly love to play these characters.

I may have a bit of a hot take, say that as the movies go on they get worse in quality. The first one is very tight and uses set ups and pay offs better than I've seen any modern movie do. The second one is really goofy, but in doing so it also gets kinda lame in parts. The third movie came a bit too late and you can feel that on the energy of it all, but it's still got enough charisma to stick the landing.

There's really no wrong way to enjoy these movies, but if you wanna check them out, tamper your expectations, grab a bowl of popcorn, and chill.
