Fitness goals are important in the sense that they hold us accountable, and encourages us to push through the discomfort we're bound to face for that desired long lasting change. So for those of us who only wish we could stick to that workout plan, if only... This article is for you. 1. Actually set your fitness goal/s. 2. Make it specific and time bound. 3. Take it one goal at a time. 4. Start out small initially. 5. Increase the difficulty level in bits. 6. Set a timer to remind you. 7. Make your goal a realistic one. 8. Give your body rest time by pacing yourself. 9. Have a workout plan you can really stick to. 10. If you have to, skip a day. 11. Keep track of your workout performance. 12. Don't neglect your beauty/quality sleep. 13. Make plans on "how" to achieve your goals. 14. Hold yourself accountable. 15. Don't starve in the process. 16. Make your workout a hobby, not a chore. 17. Join a gym if you have to. 18. Appreciate the little milestones too. 19. Learn to manage stress. 20. Take pre-planned breaks in-between. 21. Find your motivation. You'll need it for when you're lagging behind. 22. Workout to/with music. 23. Be ready to be in it for the long run. 24. Be consistent. 25. Get out of your comfort zone. 26.
