okay okay here we go - very messy off-the-cuff oc intro under the cut with some design sketches + doodles (IT'S KIND OF LONG):

anyhowdy uhhmm heres Theodor and Philby... Theodor uses he/she and Philby uses they/it and I'm literally just now realizing that they cover the main four bases wtf ... that was not intentional but it is funky and fun !! Theodor has a few nicknames like Teddy, Dory, Theo, etc, while Philby is is just Philby (their full name is Philbert but only their parents call them that LOL)

Theodor has a port wine stain birthmark on his left cheek ! and Philby potentially has rosacea but I'm still looking into that to make sure I'm not pulling any shitty moves if I'm going to have that be a part of their character. they (Philby) use mobility aids occasionally, generally just a cane, sometimes crutches, but they also have a wheelchair on hand for more difficult days.

Teddy is an interesting mix of very patient and loving while also sometimes cocky and impulsive, so he sometimes say things that are unintentionally hurtful or offensive (but is learning to apologize swiftly to help mend his mistakes). to people who don't know him well, he might come across as arrogant occasionally. he enjoys designing clothing items that Philby will often sew up for him, as well as experimenting with different coloured art mediums (pastels, paint, chalk, etc) and makeup (he is absolutely a skincare girlie fjfkdl). he comes from a family that's well-off (definitely upper class but not necessarily wealthy) so he's used to having money to throw around and doesn't quite fully grasp what it's like to be poor or working (or even middle) class, so there's some butting of heads there.

Philby comes from a working class family, not poor but definitely lower class lol. they have a fair amount of pride and can be kind of prickly, but they're extremely thoughtful and can be very kind and patient when they want to be. they're very practical and well-organized, and is integral to keeping things running smoothly in the household. they're very skilled with sewing and they also happen to be a good cartoonist! it takes a bit for them to warm up to new people, but they're usually just neutral and maybe a bit blunt with people they don't know well. if they dislike a person, they tend to have an attitude of "i don't want to waste any of my time on this person" and avoids the person rather than taking the time and energy to decide if they want to be pointedly rude or remain polite.

both of them are really good with kids in their own way! Philby likes being fun and clownish while Teddy prefers to be more of a comforting ... well... teddy bear sort of presence LOL. both of them are super patient w kids though, and they love to spend time helping out with kids when someone needs a babysitter! (why yes this is almost entirely just an excuse for me to think abt how they'd be so good with the kiddos in our system LMAO) if they ever ran a daycare or preschool together they'd be absolutely phenomenal at it, especially since they make up for what the other lacks in their approaches to interacting with children.

Theo prefers kitschy grandma-type aesthetics in both clothing and decor, while Philby enjoys a lot of bright colours and fun patterns that would fit more into "c.lowncore" and "k.idcore" aesthetics (with some occasional punk influences). Theo enjoys a lot of clothing that is maybe considered more feminine, while Philby just wears whatever is comfortable and brightly coloured, occasionally with some blacks to make the colours pop more!

they have a really interesting contrasting dynamic, Theo being a "gentle giant" while also being somewhat impulsive and more prone to hurting people accidentally with his words, and Philby being smaller in stature and more prickly but also much more thoughtful and careful with their words and actions.

also bonus funny thing: Theodor had a trad g.oth phase as a teen in highschool that lasted a couple years hehe

I have been questioning my sexuality for quite some time and am trying to familiarize myself with the terms of the lgbtq+ community to try to find one that I feel comfortable with (for now I go as unlabeled as I try to find a label that suits me, but if I don't I'll stick with it).

The thing is, after reading quite a bit about "asexuality", I think I might "fit" into it.

So I was wondering if you would be so kind as to explain a little bit what this term means to you (or some other ace who might see this)?

PS: I know that asexuality is a spectrum and there's a lot of different "types" within it and also that everyone is different of course, but I'm asking for different opinions.

And also about different emotions/thoughts when it comes to sex (it doesn't go hand in hand with asexuality of course, allosexuals still experience these things, but yeah)

Okay so asexuality means feeling little to no sexual attraction right? Well that's how I would define it for me too (overall) but more specifically for ME it's more like this:

I don't really think about sex? Or sexual stuff? I don't see a random person or someone I know or a celebrity and think "I wanna make out with them and get into their pants" my brain doesn't work that way, I may find someone aesthetically or sensually (like to hug or cuddle) attractive, but it doesn't really go beyond that, and I am 100% okay with that😌

Hiii I just saw your recent gifset and I was wondering if you could share some colouring/quality tips for gifs?? I've been having some issues lately and I'm trying to collect knowledge from people with great skills, thanks in advance!

hiii!! <3 first of all, thanks omg :(( i feel absolutely underqualified to be giving advice but i'll try to tell u some stuff that i think makes gifs look nicer (i'll do it after a read more so that i don't clog up the dash)

idk how much experience you have in making gifs so i'm gonna be all over the place probably lmao sorry!!

first all, in connection to quality, using anything other than photoshop to gif (like websites or stuff like that) is gonna make your gifs look much less hq no matter how nice the actual footage is. sadly no website can beat ps :( also, using 4k/1080p clips is going to make your job much easier. I use 4kdownloader to get videos from youtube and it works great most of the times.

in terms of processing, once i get my video i use vapoursynth but i don't sharpen/denoise there. i think the vs sharpening is a bit too harsh sometimes and the denoising can be too extreme. (i know ppl get great results w sharpening/denoising there tho!! i've never got it to work like that lol) after the clip is opened in ps, i sharpen there. my settings are very basic (amount 500% and radius 0.4px and then i do that again but with amount 10% and radius 10px) if the original clip is too lq and i'm not satisfied with how the gif looks i might use topaz clean / denoise a little bit. but i try to keep that light. in my personal opinion, i think gifs that are too smooth (so much so that their hair gets blurry and stuff) just don't look as nice. i'd rather have a slightly grainy gif over a very very smooth gif where ppl don't look like ppl.

a lil trick i do when i'm not as pleased with the quality and the gifs are from mvs is to add a little bit of grain using the smart filter. so then the grain looks like it's there on purpose and not bc the og clip is bad (other times i just add noise for aesthetics like with my keppie gifset)

another tool some ccs use is high pass. i feel like high pass needs to be used lightly because sometimes it just makes people look like dolls :(( it's like it takes away all texture and it just looks... slightly odd? i tried to use it a few times but in the end i went back to my own sharpening. i just think it's a tool that needs to be used v carefully.

ok, coloring time!! coloring can literally fix a gif sometimes hahah. like a gif that looks kinda grainy suddenly u color it and it becomes ten times better. when i color, i start by messing with the curves and i tend to do this (this pic is just me messing with a random gif hahah)

i obviously play around with that but i love doing this because it makes my blacks darker. i also play around with exposure and i tend to bring the exposure up a little, bring the offset down a little and the gamma correction up (again, me messing around randomly just so u can see how my settings might end up looking visually. the numbers change all the time because it's not that i do it exactly like this all the time)

i've been told (and i can attest to it myself) that having gifs with a lot of contrast is good for quality so i feel like doing these prev things (and also messing with the blacks in selective color) allows me to bring out that contrast and also make gifs that i enjoy (i'm a high contrast gif lover) but you also have to be mindful not to make your subjects too white by upping the exposure or messing with curves too much. whitewashing is a no no, even if whitewashed gifs always end up looking less grainy >:( for skintone i play around with color balance and selective color mostly. if the whitewashing in the original video is too much, i might go to color lookup, use the preset 3strip, set the layer as 'darken' and mess with the opacity and then if it ends up looking too red i might do the same with a 'fall color' layer and lower the opacity even more for that one (or else the gifs looks too yellow). i also play around with the reds and the yellows in hue/saturation

finally, when i export the gifs, i make sure that i pick the saving mode (i'm sure this is not the proper way to call this but anyways sdfasd) that makes the gif looks better. like sometimes i find that with green gifs some settings make the gif look atrocious so i have to use adaptable for those but anyways i usually mess around w that hahah

finally!!! it’s the last post of my bangkok adventures!!! ◉‿◉

tbh the last day wasn’t too exciting in terms of activities bc it was just mainly shopping and eating?? and ticking more stuff off our itinerary that we missed the previous days

we decided to forgo the free hotel breakfast and head to a cafe (Cassette Coffee Bar at Siam Square) instead for a light breakfast

i think we came quite early bc there was no one else at the cafe so we had the whole place to ourselves for picsss yey

the inside of the cafe resembled a cross between a bar and a hotel lobby?? with the retro decor, all-pink interior, and dim warm lighting 

the whole place was just giving ✨aesthetic✨ vibes

i ordered the iced yuzu honey lemon and it was a very refreshing drink~ just a little bit tart the way i like it

tried a bite of the thai tea cake (recommended!! fragrant and not too sweet) and brownie (basic but nice)

there was a long stretch of clothing stalls and i bought a black floral midi skirt from one of the stalls

bc it was raining a little and i was afraid that the maxi skirt i was wearing would become a victim to dirty puddles, i changed into the black skirt that i just bought lol

we went into the mall to escape from the rain and found the GENTLEWOMAN store!! O:

most of the clothing pieces were not rly my style bUT a colourful, pastel-y top and a pair of light brown shorts with a smol embroidered flower caught my eye and i just had to try them on as a set

i was right!! it was definitely a cute fit ✨

unfortunately for my broke ass (with no youtrip card on hand too) i decided to only go with the top bc the shorts were the same price as the top but it was more basic-looking?? thought that maybe i could find something similar online or something

checked out peylaa which sold a bunch of random items at an inexpensive price (a bit like miniso)

got my mini wooden fork from there~

we also took pics at a photobooth!! it was super cheap?? but it was so chaotic and only the first pic turned out ok

there was only a five second counter between the shots and we didn’t have enough time to prepare for the subsequent pics bc we thought that we could control when to take the photos?? rip

so i left empty-handed...... my eyes ate well tho

found a cake shop that sold a cheesecake that was shaped like a holey cheese and i just had to get one for chi (and it was only like 1SGD?? cheap)

rin2 and shoron picked out some mini cakes and i had tried one!! i think it was hazelnut?? not bad i like the smol size~ it’s very easy to eat and not too filling

our next destination was ICONSIAM!! one of bangkok’s megamalls with a food hall that was set up to look like an indoor floating night market

we were gonna grab our lunch there~

took a cab over and this pic is proof that four of us could fit in the backseat of a regular taxi (it was nOT COMFORTABLE tho)

man the food hall was cool and rly huge

there were so many stalls selling food, drinks and trinkets, and i was so afraid i’d get lost so i went around with shoron

this was also where i got the food miniatures for chi!! i think i spent a very long time at that particular stall lol

shoron and i both got pad thai from one of the stalls~ it was something that i’d never had before and wanted to try?? i got the squid one and didn’t add any spice

the squid looked suspiciously raw even though i saw the chef stir fry it with everything else in front of my eyes...

the taste is not bad but a little on the sweeter side?? i expected it to be more savoury hmmm

actually pad thai tastes kinda like the filling of a popiah lol am i the only one who thinks that??

tried a bit of the mango sticky rice that someone else got and it was yummy!! super sweet (even the rice is sweet??) but it’s a dessert so it’s fine

been walking around with a cheesecake on me for quite some time and i don’t think it would survive the journey back to the hotel so i decided to eat it right after my meal

bOI IT LOOKED SO DARN CUTE BUT IT TASTED WEIRD it was by far the worst cheesecake i’ve ever eaten but it is also the cutest cheesecake i’ve ever seen?????

the texture was like jello and inside there was this orange cheese goo... that tasted kinda salty?? idk

it was extra gross bc it was room temp LOL that’s on me tho not the cake’s fault

would i buy it again??? prob not unless chi wants it for his bday or something (pls don’t make ownar eat this again)

after lunch we explored the mall a little bit (mainly just checked out the supermarket lol)

then we went up to the terrace on the top floor to get a view of bangkok’s skyline~

there was an indoor waterwall!! nothing compared to jewel’s indoor waterfall but this one has LED lights spelling out “ICONSIAM” every few mins

idk if you can spot the ferris wheel in the distance (hint: look between the white building and the dark grey one) but it was where we were headed to next

our last stop was ASIATIQUE

and ngl it was disappointing :// all the shops at the supposed open-air market were closed (prob due to covid idk)

there was a functional ferris wheel tho looked cool with the lights and all but i think the ride was kinda overpriced?? so we didn’t go on

and a haunted house ride and a beautiful carousel too

but aside from those ride attractions there rly wasn’t anything else for us

honestly the convenience store that was a short walk away was prob more interesting than ASIATIQUE imo i rly wouldn’t recommend it unless you wanna check out the bars and restaurants (we were not interested in those unfortunately)

when we returned to the hotel, we pooled our leftover moneys and ordered in our biggest seafood feast!! perf way to end the trip

even chi and cha were enjoying a feast of their own heheh

i didn’t rly have trouble packing for the return trip bc i didn’t bring much and i didn’t buy an entire store and luwi had space in her luggage for me to yeet my things in (my stuff didn’t even take up half of her luggage lol)

then it was snooooze time

our flight back to sg was the next day (26 sep) at 10:50 am iirc so we had to reach the airport at least two hours earlier which meant that we would have to give the hotel breakfast buffet a miss bc it only starts at 7:30 am and the transport that the hotel arranged was coming to pick us up at 7:40 am

i ate the crab and tuna sandwich that i got from 7-11 and also drank a packet of choco soymilk

it was once again another rainy morning~~~ good thing we didn’t have to take the public transport

the ride was a lot smoother than i had expected (no jams or anything) and we reached the airport earlier than anticipated

when we landed in sg and cleared all the customs and collected our stuff from the baggage area, it was already around 3 pm?? and we hadn’t eaten a full meal since the night before so we were starvingggg

after that alfur, shoron and rin2 (luwi left right after eating) followed me to the pokecen bc i absolutely have to check the place out every time i’m at jewel

aside from the halloween stuff there wasn’t anything much so i grabbed a pumpkaboo and then we all left to go home

i shared a cab back with alfur and omg we got lost trying to find the taxi stands (one driver even cancelled on us bc we weren’t there when he arrived rip)

when i got home i ate my orange bread snack that i got from lawsons in bangkok and then crashed shortly after that zzz

if there was a chance that we could get later flights then i’d prefer those even if it meant that we’d be wasting like half a day or something

but if not then i’d rather just take the midnight cab to the airport next time bc the waiting was painfulllll oof

and a later return flight would be good too!! we could check out later and have a last meal nearby or do some last-minute shopping or something... it was kinda sad having to miss breakfast just to catch our flight back home

- Kind of the mom friend but not really. Maybe it's the fact that he often notices small things about you and the others. Like the fact that he knows about your obsession with sweet/salty foods, The fact that he knows about Childe's soft spot for whales and that Scaramouche always puts aesthetic shades of eye shadow. He has fun with you all and always points out your small habits that he finds adorable.

- All his pencils are chewed and chucked, and you once thought a dog did that. He often bites into them when he's bored or just in a random trance, you had to stop him before he could finish the whole thing.

"Tohma snap out of it! You're gonna scarf the whole thing at this point!!"

"h-huh..!?" The moment he noticed the bite marks all over the wooden object he only laughed it off. Later on he didn't notice he was chewing it again, which caused it to snap. You let him borrow yours and he made sure not to bite into them this time.

- Though.. you later on find a few nibbles on the top part of the pen, making you sigh

-You bought him a set of Chewable pencil toppers and he was ecstatic to say the least.

- Whenever you guys go to the gym for P.E he always gets hit in the head with the ball, he doesn't know why. The next day he brought a helmet to school and that made Childe go into a fit of laughter

- When he got hit by a ball sometime in P.E, he actually got badly injured, so you both went into the infirmary to treat his injured forehead.

"Punyeta. Why can't those 4th grader brats just stay on their side of the Gym? this shit always happens to you" You scowled as you tend to his wound

"Ha-ha.. even if they were on their side, I doubt the ball won't hit me" He sighs with a sheepish smile

- Has Tiktok as well, but the reason is to like most of Childe's Videos (very supportive friend lol)

- He often get's into those Class Pageant contests (and the UN themed ones as well). He has a wardrobe filled with all the costumes he used lol

"LMAO-- He's literally in a sparkling suit- HA HAHA" you mirrored his actions, taking out your phone. He plays along, posing with each snap of the camera's, while Scaramouche just deadpans at you three's antics.

- He's cold and snappy to everyone, including you. But don't worry, he warmed up eventually, though he still acts a teensy bit cold towards you.

- You guys were seat buddies while he and Childe were on the same club

- He trusts you to do his eyeshadow so you often both do each other's makeup (It's not allowed in campus so you both have glasses to slightly hide your eye makeup, matching glasses of course.

- He has a small taser keychain in his school ID and bag, and once threatened Ajax with it (He kept calling him short)

- Whenever your group goes out to eat you both get Drinks (Boba) together while Childe and Tohma goes ahead and buy Fish balls (lol)

- He once got a bad grade for the first time and he kept brushing it off whenever people ask about it, but you know that's not how he actually feels

"Hey Scara.. You sure you're ok? " You asked, when the both of you were alone in the classroom.

That's all it took for him to sigh and lean against your shoulder, mumbling a small "No"

It shocked you, but proceeded to place your hand on top of his crown to comfort him, after a few seconds of the both of you sitting in comfortable silence, he speaks up again

"Not a word about this. Or else I'll tase you."

"Sheesh, sunget naman" You giggled

- He sometimes uses you as an arm stand, it doesn't matter if you're taller or shorter, He'll stand on top of a chair just to lay his elbow on your head and he smirks down at you whenever you tell him to get it off, you couldn't convince him to, so you just accepted your fate.

- You were both often the sarcastic duo of your group and would always retort mean insults to the ginger (As a joke though, you three insult each other as friend of course.)

What the squad is like

- Ajax and Scaramouche are your classic Volleyball players and LMAO- they're basically Kageyama and Hinata in reverse

"The fuck kinda serve was that?" The red head teases

"THE FUCK YOU SAY YOU IMBECILE!?" He snaps, hitting the ball with a strong slap when it reached over the net. And because he was out of focus, that ball ended up landing into Tohma who was cheering in the sidelines with you

"T-Tohma!!!" you shrieked as his soul starts to leave his body

- Whenever Scaramouche is very fired up in a game,you and Tohma would cheer and chant at him with these specific words;

"Scaramouche! Scaramouche! Will you do the Fandango!? ~"

- He tells you to stop cause it's embarrassing, but you don't and he honestly secretly enjoys it

- Your squad would sometimes ask Tohma to buy some snacks in the cafeteria (With Childe paying lol) and at this point he's carrying a reusable bag as if he were going to the market

"Eh? Tohma, why do you have that bag with you?" A student asks "Are you going to the market?.. But School's still going.."

"Oh, this? Ha-ha nah! I'm just going to the cafeteria"

- The Cafeteria staff kinda got used to the same orders he'd often list out so they just dump them in the bag and Tohma gives them the cash with a simple thank you as if it was a routine (Hm, maybe it already is)

- When all of you would hang out, out of school you'd go to the arcade and it takes Childe a whole minute or two in the Claw machine. You almost got banned because kept cursing so loudly (there were little kids around)

- You and Scaramouche would play shooting games and holy shit he's good-

-You asked him if he ever had experiences in actual guns and he responded with;

"Oh, no. I just envision the targets as that Idiot who can't get anything from the Claw machine" He points at Childe

"HEY!"

- Childe and Tohma would battle through DDR and it either ends with a tie or you and Scara having to drag them out cause it was getting late.

-Lots of prizes earned and Childe swore he was close to buying the entire claw machine (Damn rich boi--)

- At the end of the day, all you three would get your preferred drinks as you all gaze at the nearest beach sunset. (You had the classic soda and straw in a bag of course)

- Whenever you plan, get together's like these, you always looked forward to them

- But let's say hypothetically that your parents are strict or didn't let you join them this time, well bestie, it's either they wont go and reschedule or kidnap you lmao

- Childe asked you to come outside of your house and the moment you did, you were met by a car and a laughing Childe and Tohma who carried you bridal style towards the vehicle

"Pukeng ina-- Mom's gonna kill me!!" you laughed into the gingers arms, hitting him playfully

"Quick Tohma!" He calls out to the boy, getting inside the car as he still holds onto you "Drive bitch! drive!!"

After not touching it for like. 2 months. I finally got around to actually setting up the interface of the VN I’ve been working on, and did it entirely in the span of like a week. The post got a bit long so I’ll put it under a read more, but if ya wanna read abt the general back end stuff it’s there. And of course ignore all the placeholder text in the screenshots lol

I’ll probably end up changing/further detailing some of it, this is more just to nail down the general aesthetic and layout. The text box in particular still needs some fine tuning, the names and quick menu look a bit awkward, but it’s good enough for now at least. I’ll probably also add some proper art to the stats screen to make it more than just random bars lol. and I still need to make an actual proper vector of the main logo... the png I used isn’t even actually transparent lmaoo

I also still haven’t put a click to continue button in the text box because I couldn’t figure out how to make the icon a piece of text instead of an image...which is funny since I was able to get the back button working fine (you can see it in the pics)?? I tried googling it, and I found one other guy on reddit trying to do the same thing, but all the replies were just other people saying they had no idea how to do it..........u_u

Either way it doesn’t really matter, it’s just a lil icon that doesn’t even do anything, and I can always just use an image if I have to, it’ll just be more annoying getting them to match than if I could just type a ‘>’ into the code. I mostly just find it funny that This was the thing that gave me trouble...

Honestly my entire experience with coding (even as basic as renpy’s is) is just ‘the thing you think is gonna be really hard to program takes like 10 minutes, and the thing you think is gonna be real simple takes you like 3 days’. Like I was able to program the affection bars/bios on the stats page to not show up until that character has been introduced in the game First Try with no issues, but still can’t get the Little Blinky Icon in the textbox to be a piece of text after like. a week. it’s like that buff doge vs weak doge meme. but they’re both me trying the code

But nit picks aside, it’s p interesting seeing how different it looks compared to the previous screenshots I posted. Honestly even just changing the fonts alone made it look way fancier. Like look at this, it’s wild how different they are:

Anyway, now that this is done enough for now I just have to. actually write things. which is probably the most daunting and time consuming part. and not as easy to post cool pics of on social media.....it’ll probably be a while before I do any Actual Art, but I might make some basic sketches of the sprites as placeholders at some point, as looking at just One sprite per character when you’re putting in dialogue gets really jarring lol

Either way I’ll update on this when I update on this, I mean half the reason I even decided to make a vn was so I could take things at a way slower pace, so that’s what I’m gonna do

Okay Okay, so we’re talking about the most over the top guy in the whole universe, so basically, he will to  A N Y T H I N G  to win your heart over.

He was extra enough to create and pilot a Blue Eyes White Dragon (BEWD for short) plane, so like

When his date shows up, he’s got this fake machoman thing going which just makes them giggle because “manly Jungwoo” is hysterical

His date is trying to be easy going and is findinga cultural center you can bring outside snacks to, but in the process, Jungwoois too upset to notice the bracelet he bought to confess with just falls out ofhis pocket

Which btw is like this thing where you rent aroom and essentially you can Netflix and Chill with privacy

The front desk guy is making suggestive faces atthem as they rent one without realizing what actually happens between tired Lucasand tired partner

They make it up to the room, pop the popcorn inthe microwave and snuggle in to watch Finding Nemo

They get a noise complaint for them arguing overwho between them would most effectively be able to communicate with whales

At which point they settle down for snuggles andthey fall asleep tracing stars on each other’s arms

Mark:

My sweet, kind, nervous boy

He’s another one who pegs me as someone nervousaround people he likes

But also, he calls his date “Dude” and “Bro” regardlessof their gender and that, my dudes, is everything I look for in a man

He’s ambitious and also really enjoys stereotypicalcute coupley things so he suggests taking a cooking class with his date

The dish of the day is omurice (which is supertasty okay)

Cute Mark fumbling with the cooking aprons is socute because he doesn’t know if his date wants him to put it on them or not sohe stands there for like 10 seconds with fiddly hands until his date puts one overhis neck and he realizes “Oh okay we’re being COUPLEY coupley”

They attentively watch the instructions andpractice the techniques and everything seems fine

Until it comes the time when they are set looseto make their own dish

Mark accidentally finds himself behind his datebecause Mark is clueless and didn’t really remember how they were instructed tocut the carrots for the rice

He was too busy gawking at how lovely his datelooked with an apron on

And he realizes his uselessness lol so he wantsto express his appreciation and ends up backhugging his date which is beyondcute but they both get embarrassed and Mark is about to pull away until hisdate just pulls Mark’s arms around their waist a bit tighter

 Both he and his partner have little to no experiencewith clay apart from a couple random pinch pots made in elementary school

So they get to the studio and they see all thesetechniques and equipment and they are terrified

Xiaojun is the type to smile through the pain sohe’s just grinning and ignoring how intimidated he is

But he’s cute and intuitive enough to tie backhis partner’s hair for them

They’re both terrible at it, but they pose it uplong enough to get the cute ‘Ghost’ scene to post on SNS (poor instructor being forced into taking cringey pics of them)

In the end they make a glob of clay

Xiaojun passes it off as abstract art

The other members make fun of it when he has it onhis bedside table

It somehow is a good phone stand though

Hendery wants to play paintball and none of hisfriends want to because he cheats at games, so he asks his naïve partner to gowith him

His partner is acting all shy about it like they’venever played before, which just feeds into Hendery’s “I’m gonna win so yougotta buy me lunch” mocking

They get all suited up

And the game begins

Hendery is trying his best to hide just so hecan have a better vantage

But this crackhead is a giggly mess because he’sthinking about his date’s face when they lose

Which just makes him easier to find

Plus he’s distracted so he doesn’t notice whenhis partner gets the higher ground with a great vantage point to literally seehim crouching and giggling

May's tutorial on how to take 2000s looking pics! This is not just for scene and/or emo kids, although ofcourse yall can use this!

Here are a few things you can do to make pictures look like they were taken in the 2000s!

What better way to look 2000s than when you use 2000s technology?

Exemples of things you could take a pic with are: an ipod, or any mp3 player actually, 2000s looking cd players, PS2 controllers (make sure it actually looks like you're playing or believe me, someone will notice!) or xbox controller (if you use older consoles of any type, the vibe might look more 90s but if you manage you can still make it work)

If you can't take a picture next to or with 2000s technology... anything? Well maybe you can take a selfie with a fliphone, or a T Mobile Sidekick (if you have one, lucky you!) or even a Nintendo DS if you've got one of those with the camera! Mirror selfies were also a thing of the (mid?) 2000s if they were taken with an actual camera! Let's also not forget the webcam pictures!

Here's one I took for example:

Special "effects"/ Editing:

One thing that makes almost all pictures look so much more aesthetic/better: putting the flash on! I promise it works almost all of the time, the picture will look more high quality and clearer even though it is the same quality as without! If you think your outfit might not be too great or you'd like to make it look like it was taken with a low quality phone, blur the picture! It could also just look artistic, which works just as good.

As for the editing, Glitter, like edits made on Blingee, turning up the contrast, putting a filter (or a few) that give off a blue hue or darker, add in your FriendProject profile number, or your nickname in a grungy font, or photoshop yourself in front of a cute butterfly background!

The poses and angles!

Taking a picture with only this information might not be enough to make it look as 2000s as you want it to be, so now let's see another thing; the poses and the angles! Especially when you take a selfie, do not understimate the power of the "myspace angle" as you might've heard before, the super high angle from which you take the selfie, in which you could include your whole outfit. I know, out of experience, that the position in which you have to try and stand to get your whole outfit in the picture is very, VERY uncomfortable, but trust me it's worth it!

Here's an example:

Other angles/poses you could use are for example the ones in which you position the camera, phone or whatever you take your pictures with at your feet, put a timer or make someone take the picture for you, in an angle at which your feet will look bigger than your head and your whole outfit will be visible again! This one's hard to explain but here's an example, again from one of my pics because I couldn't find one from someone else: (putting "myspace picture big feet" on google, does in fact, not work)

Shoutouts from most known myspace celebs were a big thing back then, with the name of someone (or their own, partly to prove they aren't catfish) written on their hand or a piece of paper, as well as showing off fake tattoos made with sharpies, or something like "I love you!" on the palm of your head, so standing there showing it, could, somehow be a pose? I guess so... oh well, this is still something that would've been on this list!

There are many more (like for example the ones where your legs look broken as you sit on the floor, or the one where you are showing off your room plastered with posters..) but just know not to just stand there looking lost (unless that's what you're going for), be either VERY dramatic with the poses or super casual, no in betweens or you'll probably look awkward!

Dramatic makeup and hair!

Of course... To keep on being dramatic, because the 2000s very much were, (as every decade, in their own way, but you get what I mean) hair was often in crazy colors and or haircuts! Even if you were neither emo nor scene, celebrities like Christina Aguilera or Kelly Clarkson, to Matt Tuck (that's right!) had highlights in their hair, or just dyed parts of their hair, usually blonde, black or red, but chalk haircolor exists in many colors, so go crazy on that!

Not only that but side ponytails, extensions, crimped hair, face framing bangs, spiky gelled hair etc. Even if you aren't emo or scene, your hair can cover one of your eyes for the picture!

Makeup had to be very visible, especially as a scene kid or emo kid with the overflowing amount of eyeliner, and colorful mascara or anything that you could find to be original and "artsy" really, but also for any other person! Makeup looks that were usual attire were for example: LIPGLOSS, blue, purple, white or eyeshadow, frosty pink lipstick, a lot of mascara, colorful eyeliner, rosy cheeks, or lined lips (darker on the outside) but none of that would be complete without thin eyebrows! Fake tans are also a go-to if you're feeling it!

Now, if you're too scared to use hairchalk or dye your hair, and you aren't too good at makeup, no worries, you've still got other options!

Props and accessories!

Big sunglasses.. yes, even indoors! Rimmed glasses, Colored lenses, "Bug eye" sunglasses, there are many to choose from! Scarves, very unnecessary but pretty cool looking! Hoop earrings were also in! For guys too, jewelry was often worn, for example diamond earrings, shell necklaces, as well as the typical "gangsta wear", you would've guessed it: the dollar sign necklace or chunky golden chains/necklaces. They were ofcourse not first worn during the 2000s, but they were definitely still very much worn then! Other jewelry often worn were silly bands, wristbands, kandi bracelets and necklaces. You can even wear fake piercings!

As for headwear, still many to choose from, like trucker hats, both for guys and girls and anyone who'd like to wear those, bandanas, fedora hats, (do not recommend, 80% of the time you'll look awkward, but you can't know if you're part of the 20% that could rock the look if you don't atleast try, I guess) "baker boy hats" and big huge bows for all my scene beans out there. Belts. BeLtS! A lot, too much, 3 of them, or one big one, just find whatever you have and wear the goddamn belts! Fishnets! Fingerless gloves! They were very much in, and not just for scemo kids!

Not only is it about things you can wear, but also things you can use for the picture, you can look cute while holding a plush toy, (bonus points if you've got a gloomy bear, hello kitty or gir plush!) mysterious while holding a notebook/ diary of some sort or nerdy with your favorite book, but a lot of pictures get much more fun when they are super random, for example like kiki kannibal, just casually holding a lamp in her garden...

Clothing!

Now, this one will be short as I will mainly give you guys links to some articles that talk about 2000s fashion, but here's a thing: If you're going for a very "in your face" kind of style, go fully crazy lol! Scene kids get your neon green tights or red ripped skinnies out and wear all of the colors, preps wear your shiniest Playboy logo shirt, goths and emos you better wear your nicest black knee high converse, all of it!! Go fucking over the top because truly, it was rarely ever over the top in the 2000s! Also, did I mention? Cringe culture is dead, nobody cares if you somehow manage to truly go a little too far! If you're feeling yourself, don't hesitate to show a little skin, (I don't mean totally naked, duh, especially if you're a minor plz no it's usually a very bad idea) ain't nothing wrong with mini skirts or crop tops! (guys, GUYS please wear them too if you feel like it, I promise you a lot of us think that's hot okaythatsall)

16: Instruments: I wish I could play an instrument but I didn’t have the money for music lessons when I was in school and now I don’t have the time. But if I did, it would have been cool to learn electric guitar or the piano.

17: Languages: English. I took 3 years of Spanish in school but I’m a bit rusty. I also started learning Japanese a few years ago (after years of just learning random words) and really want to get back into it again.

20. Aesthetic: Wearing my white sun dress with blue flowers on it (that I have yet to wear again since graduation) and my white lace jacket, sitting on a decorative bench in a garden and admiring the bushes of blue roses around me (it’s my aesthetic, they can be blue, lol). There are no bugs, there is no wind, the weather is perfect, and the scenery looks like something from a painting I know I don’t have the skills to paint. Night comes, and I change into my leather jacket with knee length leather boots, and Alex and I have a night out browsing the mall, having dinner at a restaurant, or catching a movie. We just have fun together, laughing and talking about anything that comes to mind. As we walk through the parking lots, the moon and stars are out and every time we get out of the car I can’t help but look up at the night sky and point out to him how pretty it is.

{i do not play co-op lol. literally before i made this blog, the only people i spoke to about genshin were people who didn’t play the game and literally didn’t care asfda any co-op i experienced was lived vicariously through dish/ant/tuanto/dawn/etc.

how he came to know you?

well, he was up at midnight you know, just staring at his phone like everyone does

and he’s doing the thing where you just randomly click through youtube videos because you’re bored

Wonwoo was scrolling through the next recommended videos when he saw this cat being weird video but when he went to go click on it, his hand slipped and he clicked on the video below it

and he’s just like ‘well im too lazy to go back now’

the video was a vlive and yes you were the one doing the live

Wonwoo was initially going to click on another video, but then he heard your voice

It was soo sweet and soothing to his ears that he just stopped and started watching

and he fell

HARD

Suddenly it’s 7 in the morning, the sun is starting to peek out and Wonwoo knows your birthday, your birth place, your favorite song, your pets, your favorite food and color

Wonwoo didn’t fall for your music, he fell for you and your personality

He thinks this is just a small phase, that he’ll get over it in a week

But now it’s six months later and his folder of photos of you has gone over 600

Wonwoo does finally take time to listen to your group songs, and he’s just over the moon when he hears your voice

Stumbles across a video of you doing a cover and he’s sitting in the dark, in the middle of the night, with his heart jumping out of his chest

Heard you rap once and lost it

bc you were so good but then you got all shy about it in the video and Wonwoo was melting

absolutely LOVES when you pull out them pun jokes

like he’s sitting there in his room, in the library, in the café, laughing his ass off like it’s the funniest thing he’s ever heard

doesn’t forget to remind people of that moment

Created a Tumblr blog dedicated to you

Got really confused the first week on how to use the site

for the first two months he reblogged a lot of stuff just pertaining to you

got really interested in those things people call gifs

so he learned everything he could about it and mastered the art of gif making in a few weeks

started making gifs of you

they got really popular because at first he just did regular ones from vlives and interviews but then all of a sudden he’s making these cute and aesthetically pleasing ones of you

and the whole kpop world is freaking out

people requested him to do other idols, or at least other members but he’s like

‘sorry I only do them for y/n’

He met Joshua on Tumblr

Joshua messaged Wonwoo privately, asking if he can use Wonwoo’s gifs that he made from one your interviews and translate it to english

(bc that particular gif was the part of the interview that you talked about Joshua’s bias)

Wonwoo took like 3 days to answer because he was so nervous and hesitant

Finally agrees to letting Joshua use it

Wonwoo discovers the world of crediting the gif maker when Joshua puts a little credit at the end of the post

Wonwoo doesn’t know how but he continues to talk to Joshua and finally one day Joshua’s like ‘bro you should join this group chat I’m in’

And Wonwoo’s like sure because it’s 1 in the morning and he’s dead tired and he doesn’t know what he’s saying because he knocks out dead asleep after he sends that message

Wakes up the next morning to 1,000 new messages and two guys names Cheol and Woozi screaming all caps about their biases

Wonwoo discovers he fits right in with these dorks and now he has best friends who he can talk to about you

Gets really emotional at like 3 in the morning about you and everyone is just

‘wonwoo are you okay’

The guys are all talking about their past experiences with fanmeets and concerts and Wonwoo is there like ‘lol never been to one’

The group chat falls dead silent for 5 minutes

Joshua: WTF WONWOO EVEN I’VE SEEN THEM AND I’M IN AMERICA

Everyone’s screaming and now everyone is determined to help Wonwoo meet you

Luckily, thanks to mama Jeonghan, he has connections and is able to bring Wonwoo with him to the groups next fanmeet

Gets really nervous the more he gets closer to the venue

And Jeonghan is laughing and sending pic and videos of Wonwoo being nervous to the groupchat

Wonwoo’s standing there in the crowd, and when you come out with your members, he’s so frozen

He’s SHOOK to the core bc ‘she’s real. SHE’S ACTUALLY REAL. I SEE HER’

Jeonghan took a video of that moment and everyone in the group chat is laughing

It’s at the part of the fan meet where everyone is going on stage to meet the idols and Wonwoo is next and his hands are literally shaking because you’re the first one

He feels his stomach churning and he’s so scared

Jeonghan already went up, and so Wonwoo is looking at him in the crowd who’s giving Wonwoo a thumbs up

And Wonwoo wants to cry because HE’S NEXT

Jeonghan literally stops taking pics and videos of his bias to capture Wonwoo’s moment

It’s Wonwoo’s turn to go and you look over at Wonwoo and everything just stops

All sound is drowned out, he’s staring into your eyes, taking in your features, your straight hair, the cute flower crown on your head, the way your lips curl up into a smile, and you give a small gesture for him to move forward

and it isn’t until a staff is pushing him that he snaps back into reality

he hears you giggle when he sits down, he thinks he’s going to pass out

your hand brushes his when he gives you a cute plush doll and suddenly he feels nauseous

‘you don’t look good’ you give him this concerned look, and you touch his hand asking him if he’s sick

Wonwoo shakes his head and he’s cursing because HE DOESN’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY

You’re trying to get him to talk but he’s so quiet so you’re like ‘who’s your bias’ since it kinda seems he doesn’t like you

But he spits out the word ‘I like you’

And you give him the biggest grin and he’s swooning, and he’s seeing the next people start to move and now he’s rushing to get everything out

‘I really really like you and your music and you’re really cute when you rap and you’re so nice when you help the other members and I find your puns and jokes really funny and I hope you win on the next music show’

It all came out really fast and you’re processing everything and it’s possibly the sweetest thing you’ve heard in a while, so you smile really big while grabbing his hand

And for the next minute Wonwoo is in heaven because you don’t let go of his hand and you’re asking him random questions as you sign the pages and answer his question

Almost falls to his knees when he goes back to Jeonghan

Jeonghan is screaming because he got the whole thing on video and he took nice pics

Now Wonwoo is screaming because he can relive the moment

Wonwoo post all the pics and videos to his blog and obviously gives credit to Jeonghan

Lets just say Wonwoo never misses a fanmeet after that, and he even goes with the other guys

For his birthday, everyone is screaming

The group chat fills with pictures of just you in celebration to Wonwoo’s birthday

His followers are sending him birthday messages

Jeonghan reposted those first moments of Wonwoo meeting you on his fansite

To Wonwoo’s luck, you did a vlive on the day of his birthday

And as he’s watching, he sees these messages on the chat screaming ‘IT’S WONWOO’S BIRTHDAY PLS SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY’

And it’s 12 boys screaming it at the same time so you notice it, and you’re laughing before saying ‘Happy Birthday Wonwoo, I love you!!’

Fanboy Wonwoo just adores you so much, he’s seen you so much that he’s no longer nervous when he meets you at the fanmeets. And you find him really cute and nice to talk to, you’ve recognized him so much that you wave to him in the crowd and honestly Wonwoo can’t find anyone more perfect than you who smiles his way and remembers his name.
