Indulging in some local food to feel at home in the new city!
Tumblr media
Even though, I am not technically alone in this city as I am staying at my sister's place. But it is still not easy to adjust in the new city with a different language and culture. I am trying to embrace this experience, starting with some aloo tikki chole chat. I had tried this once before during one of my visits to my sister.
We also went shopping at the Sunday marketing and bought some more weather suitable clothing and shoes for me.

Ivanova: hey, Marcus- do you want the rest of this?
Marcus: no, thanks, I’m good with the food in front of me. I do appreciate the offer, though.
Sheridan: I’ll take it if you don’t want it, Susan.
Ivanova: like hell you will!

so i got navia on my second account. AR 45, world level 5, highest character level is 70-80. everyone else hasn’t even breached 70. i’ve been neglecting artifact farming for exploration
so uh
looks like i won’t be building navia anytime soon bc goddamn the waltzing meks are Tanky
my venti crits at like 8k lol kaeya maybe does like 3k maybe
and to do the boss right i need pneumousia so a slot is taken up by navia solely for that purpose.
although, at level 30~ish meaning level 1 talents, random artifacts, level 20 melusine claymore (and i’ve not helped a single melusine), she can reach 6k on her skill
but that doesn’t help when she gets one-shotted after xinyan’s shield breaks after one hit lmao
aye-

Bit of Boston + Fan Expo
Alrighty well being unemployed means I get to travel around with Derik for now! And my first adventure was Boston for Fan Expo. He had a booth set up so while he worked I explored! With a hotel in walking distance I spent my first morning just roaming around outside. Finding a small park, I popped a squat and wrote my previous blogpost. Submitting that post made everything feel officially. I’m…

Beyond Sightseeing: Why Food is the Ultimate Travel Experience
When I travel, I don't just go to see the sights and experience the local attractions. Don't get me wrong, those are all important parts of travel, but for me, there's something special about trying new foods and experiencing different flavor profiles. It's not just about satisfying my hunger, but about immersing myself in the local culture.
Every culture has its own unique cuisine, and every dish has its own story. The ingredients used, the way it's prepared, and even the way it's presented can all tell you something about the people who created it. When I taste a dish that's completely new to me, I feel like I'm getting a glimpse into the soul of that culture. It's a way to connect with people who may be completely different from me, and it's one of the things that makes travel so exciting.
I also believe that food is art. Just like a painting or a sculpture, a dish can be beautiful, intricate, and thought-provoking. Chefs are artists in their own right, using their creativity and skill to craft dishes that not only taste amazing but are also visually stunning. The presentation of the food is just as important as the flavor, and when done right, it can be a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.
So when I travel, I don't just want to see the sights; I want to taste the flavors. I want to experience the culture through its food and appreciate the artistry that goes into each dish. It's an essential part of the travel experience for me, and one that I always look forward to.
