Chocolate Coffee Babka Wreath

Ingredients

2 1/4 tsp(7g)yeast

1/4 cup (55ml)warm water

3 tbsp( 43g) granulated sugar

1 cup (220ml) milk

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extact

4 1/2 cups (585g)bread flour

7 tbsp (99g) butter

For Chocolate Filling:

110g butter

150g semi-sweet chocolate

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup cocoa

1 tbsp instant coffee

2g salt

For Caramel Syrup:

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup water

Instructions:

In a bowl, whisk together the warm water, yeast, and 1 tsp sugar and let it rest until fluffy, for 5-7 min.

In a large bowl (preferably of a stand mixer), add flour, milk, remaining sugar, salt, eggs, vanilla, and yeast mixture.

Mix them until combined for about 3-4 minutes. Then, cover it with a cloth or plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for 10-12 minutes.

After that, knead the dough by stand mixer or hand. Add room temperature butter to the dough and continue to knead for 12-15 minutes.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and keep it in the refrigerator overnight. If you have limited time, you can keep it at room temperature for 45-60 min and then in the fridge 1-3 hours.

The next day:

Prepare the chocolate paste; in a medium saucepan, place the butter and chocolate and stir over low heat until the chocolate is completely melted. Remove the pan from the heat and add the cocoa, powdered sugar, coffee, and salt. Whisk until the ingredients are well combined and let it cool at room temp.

Transfer the dough onto a floured counter. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a 26x16 inch (70x40cm) rectangle. You can also make two small wreaths by sitting this in two. Spread the chocolate mixture on the dough with a spatula.

Tightly roll up the dough starting from the long side. Transfer the roll to a baking sheet and leave it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes so it can be cut easily.

I will never shut up about this. Izuku says that Ochako is always putting people above herself,but he (or her) doesn't even mention the fact that he does the extact. Same. Thing. (And is technically doing in that scene) But you know who DOES? Katsuki.

And let's not forget Izuku saying he can't rely on help any longer,even though this boy has NOT been getting enough. Then he has the gull to say he's fine. What does Katsuki say about this? This is also something he never tells Izuku. He never tells Izuku this is how he truly views him. C'mon,Katsuki,tell him your truth. (Or how you "really feel" depending on the translation)

(not to mention the fact that Izuku and Ochako are extremely alike and Ochako heavily parallels All Might. So it makes sense that Ochako can't help Izuku,since they have the same mindset. It also explains why Ochako needed the rest of 2A. Because they're too alike in that sense. I talked more on the Izuku side of this,but I wanted to bring up Katsuki some more ).

I have a hot thoschei take: I don’t think most of doctor who tumblr is ready to confront the idea that Missy allowing the Doctor to “fix” her was almost more a form of self-harm for her than anything else. Which makes the confrontation between her and the Master even more upsetting to me than if it was a simple ‘Missy good, old Master bad and sabotages her goodness.’

It’s more like looking on your future self and seeing her restrain herself further and further in ways you’d rather die than do, in ways that are slowly erasing what makes you/her yourself/herself. and when you realize that she will happily push you into this fate, too, (and has the audacity to preach about it), how else can you react but cut her loose.

And it also makes Missy and Twelve more interesting to me, because you can’t really argue the Doctor doesn’t know that he’s contributing to this. He locked her in a box. He knows her far too well to really believe she’d want to live so long in confinement, but he does it anyway. I don’t even think it’s that divorced from love or a need for them to come to an understanding; the Doctor just wants it to be completely on his terms and for the first time ever, that control is entirely possible and he doesn’t even have to feel guilty about it because she’s letting him.

I suppose my own brain is a bit too of a "they are characters in a text, serving a purpose to the point made by the author, not self-aware people making choices" bitch to really view it this way. But I absolutely agree this whole situation was much more effed up than fandom gives it credit for. I mean, the basic message of the vault arc is "here's the fool-proof way to develop empathy: a human lifetime of solitary confinment! Let's just ditch all those resocialisation programs in prisons and put all violent criminals in solitary boxes with only psychologists visting them! :DDDD".

Yeah, ok, that last point was a bit over the top in social engineering area even as far as fan bashing is concerned. And, tbh, I think a positive side of the vault arc is the not-sure-if-intended idea that it in fact wasn't decades of solitary confinment with Twelve coming to banter through a locked door only actual interaction with Bill that had Missy introspect, but wtv, it all just needed to go tragic in the end. I think the really unawarely messed up part here is this underlying insistence on. well, basically writing the Master as Darth Vader. There's still good in you, I can feel it!, as in just go back to being a child that I will be idealising in the penultimate episode, which frankly sounds to me the extact same as GO2 Aziraphale asking Crowley to just go back to being angels only even nicer :) (sth sth angelhood as a metaphor of pre-selfaware childhood when you can't even tell yourself apart from other people and especially God-the-Parent). Basically, the big idea being the Master's villainy isn't a result of conscious choices of a hundreds year old eldritch horror only not hearing the music whatever that means.

Of course, it was backwards engineered, in a "ah, but what if there really, really, reeeaaaallly wasn't any other way for the Master to survive than as the Doctor's prisoner?" way, which could work considering how survival focussed the character is (like, surely that wouldn't be worse than becoming a cat? or a 90s effects goo snake? or a man eating emo electroskeleton? or a tooth?)... but then we have a "yeah, but there's like an evil past that does value their independence (and evilhood) over survival, ain't that tragic?" ending.

Basically, I think the problem is not so much Missy accepting being the Doctor's prisoner, as not trying to escape even freaking once? Like, if we started off with her being dishonest about the whole teach me to be good :((( and then easing into living like this, this might have been an interesting idea? But yeah, as we are, you're right, it just. Comes off as trying to amputate a limb that got caught in a mousetrap rather than snares...

"You took my husband from me!" Scott exclaimed, barging through the barn doors of the Ranch. Tango whipped around to call for his partner, but froze as the tip of an iron sword was posted under his neck.

"Hey man! Put the weapon down!" Tango warned the green life with a shaking voice.

"They- I was promised I would get my husband back! Jimmy's supposed to be mine-" Scott's blue eyes flared.

"I didn't ask for him to be my soulmate!" Tango hissed in alarm, Scott was nowhere near being a red life, and yet he looked like a madman.

"Jimmy died 'cause he's stuck with you!"

"Get off of our Ranch, Smajor." Tango snarled. He went for the nearest axe, but Scott pairied and stopped him.

"Do you have any idea what you're committing to? Do you?"

"I know you should keep your nose out of my allyships." Tango bared his teeth. He brushed the sword aside and got in Scott's face. "Don't even think about trying to nick me with that sword, I won't let either Jimmy or myself lose even half a heart to you."

"OH, Jimmy's fixing to lose more than just a stupid heart in a series like this. Do you really think a nobody like you could protect him from that curse of his?"

"At least I'll even stay loyal to him long enough to try!" Tango's fire blazed.

"He'll die anyway!"

"And I'll die trying."

"You better watch it, Ta-" Smajor was cut off by a songbird sweet voice.

"Tango! I just crafted a cake!" Jimmy extactically called to his soulmate from the inside of the barn.

Silence fell between them, and Scott's facial expression went blank. Cautiously, Tango turned his head to the house."I'll be there in a second-" Tango's throat went dry. "I'm harvesting the wheat."

When Tango looked back, Scott had tears welling in his reddening eyes. The man stared longingly through the window of the barn, fearing he'd catch a glimpse of his- of Jimmy. Through narrowed eyes, they faced off.

Though Scott was still on his green life, there was a jarring pop of yellow in his color palette. Tango's eyes lock on a golden fleather loosely stuck to Scott's aquamarine hair. He reaches a hand out to grab it, and Scott flinched hard, forcing the sword closer than comfortable to Tango's side. The blazeborn hissed with pinned ears, and slowly grabbed the feather. He pinned it to the center of Scott's chest with an open palm.

"You don't have to worry. Jimmy's in good hands now.

"Scott's hard glare momentarily became enamored in Tango's firey glow. Tango's vision danced with the shimmery blue crown atop the former winner's head. Slowly, the iron sword was lowered. Scott's hand reached up and hovered closer and closer to the fire, and Tango let him, tightening a grip on Scott's shirt. Willingly, Scott was pulled down to Tango's eyes level, and in the movment he cupped the blazeborn's face in his hand. He kissed Tango briefly, and both of them lean into eachother. Before Tango could open his eyes again, Scott walked off. Tango watched the entrance doors to the Ranch shut behind the green life, feeling his dislike for Jimmy's ex conflict with this new feeling of... desire.

Need for raw fcking

I think flashback helps to show that raw is basically a proxy for commitment to Tonkla.

He wants to relive the past where he was the priority and not some side affair; he was important; and now korn doesn't do it because he is sleeping with so many people (or 2 whatever!)

That's why he wants to feel it.. but doesn't mean anyone who agrees to do that will win TK's emotions.. TK has given up on the world and sees it as a give and take, use and throw... the only one he loves is Korn and Korn refuses to give him what he wants

The boy is really really yearning for love... coming from an abusive family and now no more a family together and jilted by Korn ...
