Things in my F1 DR

Okay so, I have been on a fix with my F1 DR and thought that I would share with you guys some things that happen and other little details.

To preface: I have not yet shifted to this DR but these are just things that I have scripted; I have scripted that I drive for Porsche F1 (replacing HAAS) and have an OC as my second driver; also, SV5 is my mentor/father figure/sponsor and I am the godmother of his kids

Lmk what you guys have scripted, I would love some more F1 shifter friends!!!

I currently live in Monaco but are renovating an Italian farmhouse

Jeremy Clarkson is our Team Principal??? (Still debating this one lmk what you guys think)

Seb’s kids always want to watch my races but they have no idea about time zones so if a race is happening during their bedtimes, Seb just records the race and plays it during the day and they think that it is live

I go on the Screaming Meals podcast and the boys (James, Clement & Marcus) dress up in dresses without telling me.

One of the drivers gets me a inflatable dinosaur suit for Secret Santa before the Abu Dhabi race (I have been talking about getting one throughout the year) and I walk around the paddock in it for fun.

Sebastian tells Lewis to keep an eye out for me when he can’t be there and he (Lewis) becomes like an uncle

My radio checks are almost exclusively quotes from movies

When I get super drunk I start talking in fluent Latin and my friends call it the “Exorcism Stage”

I can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under 20 seconds

I got my Bachelor’s Degree in engineering just for fun

My teammate and I do an advertisement/video for Uber (one of our sponsors) where we become Uber drivers in Porsches and deliver food (in our race suits and everything) and we turn it into a competition to see who gets the most clients

When I went to school in the UK (Same school as Lando) I lived with the Norris family and Lando is now like a big brother

Logan, Oscar and I were all roommates whilst at Prema together

I filled in for Charles Leclerc at Ferrari at the 2022 Silverstone Grand Prix (I scripted that he got sick and couldn’t race) and the protestors came on to the track just as I was going around and I said over the radio “Are they trying to be compost or something”

I don’t have a social media presence before joining F1 but have to have one as a part of my contract, but then I get my account access privileges revoked after a bunch of PR incidents

My teammate and I find a couple of those Razor indoor go karts and race them around the office

So yeh, that was just some of the stuff so far. Might do a part 2 if you guys want!?

The next day…

The sun shone through the thin curtains of your Melbourne hotel room, a steak of light shining directly onto your face. A soft groan falls from your lips as your sleep is disrupted by the ball of fire in the sky that seemed to be insistent on waking you up. The realisation that you’ve slept in hits you like a freight train, scrambling out of bed, almost tripping over your feet as you just manage to reach the bathroom.

You’re frantically scouring your hotel room, looking for your other shoe when the door knocks. Relief washes over you as you find the shoe after endless minutes looking. Hopping over to the door, pulling your shoes on, you open it to your older brother, Logan Sargeant. He finds himself amused at the sight of you hopping back into your room to sit down and put the shoe on properly but he shrugs it off, making his way inside.

“You woke up late again?” He questions you, no longer surprised at your antics as a soft chuckle passes his lips. Before he’s aware of it, a pillow is being thrown at him, falling to the floor by his feet.

“For a formula one driver, you really should have better reflex’s Lo,” You tease as your brother as you place your foot back down on the floor, reaching for your bag as you stand up. “Ladies first.” Logan rolls his eyes at you but goes first anyway, making his way into the hotel hallway.

As the car pulled up at the track, a sense of fear washed over you. What if people don’t want me back? What if it was better off without me? You’re pulled out of your own head by the feeling of a hand on your shoulder. It’s Logan.

“You’re gonna be fine,” A soft smile graces his lips and that’s all you need for reassurance as the car pulls to a stop. Climbing out, you take a deep breath as your feet hit the floor. There’s no more hiding now.

You manage to match the walking rhythm of your brother, your feet falling into the familiar action of one foot in front of the other. The screams from fans as you enter is almost deafening. You hadn’t heard anyone scream your name in so long and suddenly you’re hearing so many scream it all at once. It’s almost a comfort; they’re happy to see me.

You walk with your brother and take a few pictures with some of the excited faces in the crowd though you leave the bulk of fan duty with Logan and his fellow drivers. It’s their day after all.

Walking through the paddock you realise just how much you missed the days you used to spend at race tracks. You’d spent your whole life around race tracks, watching Logan and cheering him on as he worked his way up. There was no one more proud of him than you were when he got signed by Williams. Though due to your rapidly growing career, you were lucky to make it to a race at all, though you never missed one. Always watching him from wherever you were in the world, whatever the time. The familiar hustle and bustle of the paddock brought a warm smile to your face, that only growing when you spot a certain driver in papaya.

“Oscar Jack Piastri,” Your voice in sync with your steps as you walk up behind him. Oscar spins around rather fast at the sound of his name, a large smile plastering on his face at the sight of you. His arms wrap around you, pulling you into a warm hug. You hug him back before pulling away, and taking a small step back, a smile on your face.

You’d missed him. Growing up with Logan on race tracks meant growing up with Oscar as well. From the moment the two boys met they were inseparable, you very quickly catching on. The three of you became your own little trio, always causing mischief at every turn. Your little trio never ended, no matter how busy any of you were and no matter how long you went without speaking to each other, you always made your way back to each other.

This moment is the first time you’ve seen Oscar in 6 months. You’d spoken over the phone, briefly, but it had been awhile since you’d seen his face up close. As Oscar spoke, it was almost reassuring to notice most things really hadn’t changed at all.

You, Logan and Oscar. The three musketeers. Finally back together.

The joyful moment between you two is abruptly ended at the sound of Oscar’s name being shouted in your direction, a thick British accent filling your ears. Following the sound, your eyes land on a second papaya-clad man. You make him out to be Oscar’s teammate as he got closer. Lando Norris. He comes to a stop at Oscar’s side.

“We’re needed apparently,” the man says to Oscar, not registering the presence of either you nor your brother yet. You’d heard of Lando Norris before, of course you had. Oscar had spoke of him and you’d seen him whenever you watched the race on tv but you’d never seen him in person before.

“Hello to you too Lando,” Oscar says with a soft chuckle escaping his lips. Lando shakes his head, his eyes falling on Logan though still not noticing me.

“Fraternising with the enemy I see,” Lando’s voice is a very soft one, playful. You can’t help the way the corners of your lips turn upwards as he continues teasing your brother. A small giggle leaves your mouth as the teasing persists and that’s when Lando notices you’re there for the first time.

Lando’s eyes fall on you when he hears a giggle come from beside Logan. His eyebrows that are slightly furrowed with confusion relax as his eyes meet yours. The kindness, the warmth in them is unmistakable, just looking into them feels like a warm hug. His eyes scan over the rest of your face, taking in all your features. You’re beautiful. You’re…familiar but somehow he can’t seem to figure it out.

“Y/n Sargeant,” You introduce yourself to Lando, offering up a handshake. Then it clicks where he’s seen you before, besides the obvious. Of course he’s seen you on social media, on the news, he’s heard you on the radio, you’re kind of hard to miss, after all. No but where he recognises you from, with that specific smile on your face is a picture Oscar showed him last year, the picture held a still of you, Oscar and Logan laughing at something, none of you can remember what exactly, when you were 17. That’s what Lando remembers you from.

“Lando Norris,” He accepts the handshake, his maybe holding onto yours for just a moment too long. As he walked away with Oscar, he wondered when the next he’d see you would be.

All you’d said was your name but it didn’t matter. He was intrigued, he wanted to know more. Know you.

Okay but sometimes I feel like I'm absolutely insane with my scripts like I haven't yet found a person on the level of insaneness and obsessiveness with details that matches mine.

Just so you know what I'm talking about, I did an excel document for my fame dr with all my roles (project name, my role, when it was filmed, where it was filmed, premiere date) and another excel document with the complete f1 race results in my dr (from 2014 to 2023, all 20 drivers each race (qualifying and race and i want to add all 3 fp session when I'm done) and then drivers championship and constructors championship standings, again with all race results put in so I can check it quickly and also the amount of poles, podiums, wins, retirements and points per season)

so yeah, anyone that can match that? I'd love to talk to you :)

As a bear, Sebastian has periods where he doesn't remember he is human. Sometimes he wakes up covered in blood. He can change at will but he can't seem to suppress the change, to force it down. If he waits for too long, the outcome will get worse, days, sometimes a full week gone from his memory. The anxiety of checking the news after waking up naked, smelling of pine needles. The bear pelt he changes into always makes its way into his field of vision sooner or later and sometimes when he puts it on he finds himself consciouly letting go of his memories, fanning the flames of instinct to take over. On those occasions, he isn't scared of losing himself anymore, it's like he was always meant to be a bear, like the man's life was a bad dream. He cries when no fur covers his weak, naked body anymore, sometimes out of relief, sometimes mourning the loss.

When the bird moved, instinct kicked in and Charles pounced. He didn’t get the bird at once, it got away somehow, but Charles was both fast and smart and when the bird screamed and tried to take flight, Charles stepped on its long green tail before diving forward and pinning the bird to the floor.  ‘Stop, stop, please tell me you’re a shifter and you can hear me.’ Charles froze when a voice begged him in his mind.  The bird was a shifter? Shit.  He slowly released his paw from the bird’s fluffy body and sat down, looking down on the fellow shifter curiously.  ‘Thank fuck.’ the bird spoke in his mind again.  It had been a while since Charles had heard anyone but Arthur in his mind. All shifters could communicate through telepathy, and while their voices weren’t the same as in their human form, as voices in your mind didn’t have accents, Charles could tell the bird was male.  ‘Mate, I’m sorry, I thought you were just a bird’  The bird cocked its head at him as it ruffled its feathers. If Charles didn’t know any better he’d say the bird was very annoyed with him for not noticing it before.  ‘Have you ever seen a bird like me before?' Charles blinked at him. Huh, he had a point and now that his cat instincts weren’t clouding his judgment, he could also sense it, the prickling sensation in his neck he usually felt when a shifter was closeby. He had never seen a bird like this before, he looked exotic and very out of place at the roof of a Formula 1  garage.

Animal shifters AU with the drivers? Everyone on the grid has an animal form because F1 pretty much only hires shifters (they will hire regular humans if they’re talented, but shifters have naturally stronger and more durable bodies when in human form so they’re more likely to be hired), but there are some drivers who prefer not to shift as much so they’re more in charge of taking care of the others when they’re shifted. And everyone in a big pile of fur and legs and tails cuddled up together after every race in one of the older drivers’ driver’s rooms (or even the Mercedes motorhome because let’s honest Toto would totally let everyone have a cuddle pile there), just de-stressing and chilling together in their different forms?

(There would also probably be ships involved as well but I’m not quite sure what they are just yet. 😅)

This DR is set in 2023, May. It is a Tuesday, few days before the 7th race of the season. I have already won the Australian and Saudi Arabian races and got pole. I am a rookie at RedBull after being a reserve driver for about a year and a half.

My racing career

I started karting when I was 6 years old and continued to climb through the industry.

I became the second driver for RedBull at the beginning of the 2023 season after being a reserve driver for a year and a half. I get hate for being a female F1 driver on the grid, a few people spread weird rumours about me online. (need to have my main character moment and have great comebacks)

I race with the polish flag, (project Kubica.v2 HAHA) and have nr. 5 as my race number.

Hi :)

I'm a shifter and doing this blog basically to have a place to write, infodump and post random stuff whenever I feel like it. I'd love to have some mutuals and people to gossip with (my current obsession is mlb but I'm not picky). I'm always open for questions and interest in my DRs (none of my friends are really interested in it soo yeah). I'd also love it, if some people give me ideas or suggestions to make my DRs 'better'. Just be aware that I won't always follow them.
