i think he'd lock tf in honestly . tbob wasn't a bad attempt . like the book was a mess of him oversharing, but he managed to get something out the door that wasn't meant to . high security facility for tyrants and he still slipped something thru the cracks -- that's interesting ! i wanna play in that space which takes into account bill cipher is competent and more than willing to rip his fate out of the jaws of whatever sick punchline the universe is setting up for him

i think bill cipher can have his moments of patheticness . he's fun to put in the blender for a lil bit i also enjoy a bill cipher jamba juice from time to time

i just also think he got where he was in life for a reason . he's charismatic . he's funny . people genuinely like him, a natural born cult leader . he's extremely smart, and knowledgeable . he's willing to do a lotta shit most people wouldn't which already puts him ahead of the game

i think the thing that's the most fun about bill being in the theraprism is when you acknowledge he's a person . he's been put in a place where he no longer has any agency . his entire life has been chasing any scrap of agency he can get, and never feeling like he's got it . i love that thread, because this wouldn't be anything new for him -- bill's never had agency as far as he's concerned . always clawing his way for the right to exist

he's a cornered rat, he's always been a cornered rat, and he's gotten pretty god damn good at clawing his way back to the top . i think it's fun being able to explore what that looks like, how that power struggle would function in a place where he is pretty well and truly powerless

then if you throw ford into the mix, now he's got a wedge . and it's fun playing with bill trying to reconcile the ways he wants to use ford as leverage, with the reality that ford is his weakness . that doesn't change just because bill beefed it big time . the fact he won't acknowledge that just about dooms him to it, and that's awesome . i love cycles man. keep pretending that love did not undo you in a mind-bogglingly brief amount of time, i'm clapping and cheering about it yippeeeeee

ohhh it's just so fun . take my man and have him lock tf in . i wanna see him clawing at those walls and being a genuine threat to the system, while coming to terms with the fact that reincarnation is just about inevitable

it's such a weird fucking situation . you can talk so much about personhood, and agency, and how he took those things from others, but like . dude you still deserve to be a person . you still deserve to be treated well . so did all the people you hurt . theraprism presents such a good pressure chamber to have a narrative exploring how someone like bill reconciles those facts, if ever

rooting for you man . i think your success is more narratively interesting than failure

oh goddd and don't get me started on the meta implications of reincarnation as a narrative representation of how so frequently "character redemption" equals the death of the original character, replacing them with someone completely different, usually "good" and "domestic" hhhhhhh

turn him into a moth . turn him into a human . at the end of the day his personality has been so twisted and warped it's not even the same person anyways

Another Headcanon! YEY!!! Imagine the Doll taking a picture of a confused Hunter! Or Gehrman sleeping while crying over Laurence. She definitely loves her camera. My girl deserves to have hobbies. I find it sad that she just stands there, waiting for Hunters. That’s why I’ve made a list of headcanons:

One time, the Doll saw Gehrman sleeping. It intrigued her so much that she tried to do the same—“sleeping.” That’s why, when she’s waiting for a Hunter, she sits and closes her eyes, because she believes "sleeping" is some kind of pastime. Lol.

She also once saw Gehrman knitting. And what did she do? She immediately learned how to knit. So, when a Hunter shows up with a torn garment, she offers to mend it… or teach the useless Hunter how to do it themselves.

Taking care of the Messengers. She definitely gets along too well with those little guys. Sometimes she even brings them tiny hats and spends hours playing with them.

Collecting flowers and tending the garden. Maybe the flowers in the Dream are artificial, but the Doll enjoys arranging them, planting more, and keeping the place beautiful.

Poking around Gehrman’s stuff. He’s so depressed at this point he doesn’t care if strangers mess with his things. So the Doll likes to look through his old books from his Byrgenwerth days, letters addressed to Laurence or Maria, old photographs he once took, and even his old weapons—because she’s very curious.

Maybe these aren't the most exciting activities, but let’s be honest: there’s not a lot to do in the Hunter’s Dream… aside from going to a corner of the garden to cry. 😔

people keep saying karma is the last ep of alnst but it isn’t mentioned anywhere that it’s the finale? they would’ve atleast mentioned it on the description, poster, or title .. desperately need till pov so this can’t be the End

On Patreon, Vivinos has said that "Alien stage is heading towards its finale/Update on final episode", and reiterated that Karma is the final episode, the few times it's been mentioned, it really should've been made clear more publicly but to be completely honest, I believe it is the end of the episodes. After 11 episodes, everything wrapping up by circling back to Mizi and Sua's narrative feels like the logical conclusion of the main story, I don't think Vivinos plans to have it any other way

If that is the case I hope I'm not gonna be dissapointed-- there's still more things to do with Alien stage and I've been trying to wait for Till's pov but ALNST is literally going to fast for it's own good, I was anticipating that within the time frame before Karma that there would at least be more time for sub-songs and side comics so we can clear up some things and wrap up some loose ends but it didn't pan out like I expected and now Karma is coming on friday... so I have no idea how Till is going to be handled, not to mention Luka is a whole other can of worms, those two haven't been given much of anything on their own so how does vivinos plan to give Karma a proportional ratio of (Luka: Till: Mizi and Sua: General plot)?? I really don't want them to just be halfheartedly crammed into MiziSua's video just because they needed to be dealt with before the deadline, that'd just be hella dismissive of both of them on Vivinos's end, they deserve their complete development just as much as every other character

well, I'm almost for certain that Alien stage Fridays won't be over for a while after Karma is released to make up for it, it is so absurd to end it here with these plot holes and half the cast should have more stuff for their characters, that can't possibly solved in an under 5 minute video that innately shouldn't be centering anyone else but Mizi and Sua for the most part. But still, it's not the best situation, I believe if the team had they paced this more thoughtfully, they could've waited and let Till and Luka's arcs develop as characters more within their own side content so that they could easily flow into Karma's plot (opportunities were missed, a good handful of them, is the sum of this) If this is the end of the main videos I'm just worried about that, or if their arcs will be handled with care at all, worst case scenario this is really the extent of Till's character or Luka will die just seconds after he was told to LIVE with love and HyunA died for that point so he'd better 🤦 shit don't get me started on that "Vivinos won't show Till's perspective of Ivan to highlight the one-sided nature of their relationship" HELL NO

Please just announce Alien stage season two and let them sort this out the hard way Vivinos

I know some dont know that and just wonder if you could please turn that feature off? Because you're making it so no one else can see/read them and I know at least a couple are bookmarks of mine that I like to reread and I'd really hate for the authors to not get the views and such.

Yes, I am aware they are hidden. That was the purpose of making the collection.

I'm making it so no one else can see/read them. You don't have a right to my fics or my works or to me. The things I made were shared with fandom out of my good will and that good will was abused, so I took my fic back.

I would urge you to reconsider the way you interact with creators in fandom spaces. Perhaps if you had been polite or showed an ounce of empathy for me, I would have gladly downloaded copies of the fic for you.

For additional clarity: the collection is mine and the only fic included in the collection are my own. I am hiding only my own works and no one else's. No one is hiding my work.

I've really missed you guys, by the way. I know I've said that already, but I'm serious. Once or twice this year I've been right on the brink of coming back but schedule stuff always keeps me from letting myself commit to that again, and that in turn has kept me from posting anything at all. But I've been in an unexpected drawing mood lately and so if I can get enough stuff to set up a queue we might pretend I'm back for a month or so sometime this year. Maybe. Hopefully. We'll see. No promises though. That's why I'm hiding this paragraph under the cut.

Will there be a third book in Perth Shifters? I loved Braden’s and Aodhen’s stories.

Of all the kind of commercial-facing writing projects I've done, Perth Shifters did the worst, which is a shame, because Perth Shifters was meant to be the big money-spinner, which is why I broke with so many ways I prefer to write (more angst, longer stories, more character studies, etc.) to fit in with more conventional formulas to do so.

I enjoyed the experience very much! And I love the characters! If I ever tackle Hunter's book, it will probably be in serial format and a much longer story. I have learned that actually sticking to what I do best makes more sense in terms of both joy for the thing, and also income.

Perth Shifters was my first foray into hybrid publishing and it taught me an extremely valuable lesson. When I go back into hybrid publishing again, it will be with things I have already made work for me as serials, so whether they perform well as published novels or not just won't matter as much (and will be a bonus, so not as much is resting on its shoulders lol).

But for that reason, I can't justify putting the time aside to write a third Perth Shifters book. Still haven't ruled out revisiting the world one day though!
