B, IMAGINE: Bruce jumps in front of a magic beam meant to transform/transport Supes into another dimension by time shenanigans and Bruce knows Supes is susceptible to magic. Also he knows this might hurt him but he doesn't care b/c its Clark but instead of Bruce being ripped by time/transported by time/space, he's just left ...young. Like no longer is Clark seeing his early 30s BFF (and crush) but smol angry bean pole baby (ok 19 but I guess Bruce doesn't drink his milk till later in life) and Clark has to care for him now b/c Bruce'd never hear the end of it if he goes back to the mansion /now/ and Wow 19!Bruce has not schooled his features nor his mouth-to-brain filter and Clark learns a lot about his BFF in the next few weeks than he has in years (especially about his weakness for guys in glasses and sweater vests and blue eyes and hmm... Clark thinks a guy like that sounds so familiar...)

Here’s me once again thinking about the fact that we’re getting a Direct at some point in June and what that means for me as an F-Zero fan (probably nothing because who likes F-Zero amirite (sarcastic)) and a Pokémon fan (probably nothing because Game Freak likes to do their own thing. This isn’t a predictions post, it’s just me saying what the best case scenario would be for me

I think this would be a great chance for Game Freak to announce some Z-A stuff given we still don’t know anything other than it’s coming out in 2025, it’s entirely set in Lumiose City and you can say goodbye to the freedom of being able to choose all six of you team without having to reserve one in order for you to stand a chance against half the NPCs, not that competitive is likely to be possible in this game and they’ll probably remove Megas again in Gen 10 in favour of a more interesting, less restrictive gimmick (though will it be as cool as Terastalising? Probably not) Megas are returning. And if that’s not there (or even if it is) we could get some side game info and you know I need the Proto Beasts and Neo Swords in a side game at some point (obligatory okay I’m talking about Z-A how can I hype up SV/the Pokémon in SV?)

As for F-Zero, for some reason (the Metroid Prime remaster leak eventually becoming true) I do still believe that Nintendo (I’ve spent so much time in the last few months talking about Game Freak I keep accidentally trying to call the company who makes F-Zero “Game Freak” instead of Nintendo. Ironically at one point I did start work on a fan comic where I imagined Game Freak working on F-Zero which involved a Pikachu, a Charizard and an Eevee (who wasn’t allowed to evolve) joining the Grand Prix. I never finished it and don’t intend on working on it anymore) could be working on a GX remake (so you guys will just forget about the GX remake/remaster leaks but you won’t forget about the Zelda remaster leaks and will keep on insisting they’re true not that I doubt those leaks either and okay I get it the F-Zero leak hype brought us to F-Zero 99 being a thing (and the day after the release of The Teal Mask and I don’t think we celebrate that enough as an F-Zero fan and a Pokémon fan) but I do remember at least one of the F-Zero GX remake/remaster leaks being from a vaguely credible source and what’s to say Nintendo (okay that time I really did try to type Game Freak) aren’t thinking let’s just do this now for the Switch in its last year so no one buys it bc they’re too excited for the successor to the Switch who’s buying Switch games anymore lol? Or you know they could do that accidentally but you know that’s what the entire F-Zero fandom would believe they were doing)

I’m just gonna say it though, if a Direct features both F-Zero and Pokémon it’s automatically the best Direct we’ve ever had

Daily Question: In your AU, what is each of the Ninja's relationship with the Falcon?

Zane: Obviously feels the most attachment to it, what with it being a gift from his father (and being reminiscent of his mother's favorite bird). He loves learning new mechanics about it, or new ways to utilize its help, but for the most part appreciates it as just a companion. (I also support the idea of them sharing the mystic connection of bluetooth snksnksnk)

Cole: He treats it like a pet before a machine, knowing how connected Zane is to it (plus he's not terribly familiar on how to make use of its drone capabilities anyway—he leaves that up to Jay and Nya). Sometimes he'll use the Falcon as a sounding board when he gets too self-aware when he talks to himself lol

Jay/Nya: They're discreetly trying to break it open to figure out just how it works. Nya's pretty content just with extracting data from it and piecing together what she can from that, but Jay?? Can't figure out?? How Julien made such a sleek a Bird Drone and he REALLY REALLY NEEDS TO KNOW (Zane tries to keep the Falcon away from Jay as much as possible in any case)

Kai: Respects the Falcon's capabilities, but he had such terrible luck with animals that he's not going to risk getting too close to it. He'll be the first on defense whenever it goes rogue. He's watching you, bird. Always watching.

Lloyd: Doesn't get a lot of time with the Falcon, but he thinks it's pretty cool as both a tool and a companion. He's a little bit terrified of accidentally breaking it (because he's not sure if he could Master Build it back together properly, thus he just tries to avoid touching it more than he has to).

Because he’s obviously not meant to be Jesus 2.0 being a mortal and all, the belt’s power sometimes overwhelms his body, especially when he first gets the belt. He gets random intense hot flashes, nausea, fatigue, dizzy spells, and sometimes (only on rare occasions) straight up passes out. Since he’s lived and worked completely alone for years, he’s not one to ask for help from anyone, no matter now adamant Stewart is for Falcon to come and talk to him and let him help whenever he has an issue or something that’s bothering him. Instead of messaging Stewart or James to let them know that he’s not feeling good, he opts to try to deal with it himself by just laying down on cold tile or just trying to sleep it off. It pretty much never works though, and Stewart always notices that something is off (I mean I would too if I came home and my partner was just laying in the middle of the bathroom/kitchen/laundry tile floor). Stewart and James have to coax Falcon off of the floor or out of bed so they can help run him a cold bath and/or help him take off his racing suit and change him into something light that doesn’t overwhelm him. Falcon always feels like he’s being babied and that he’s a grown adult and he can handle it but Stewart always scolds him for thinking like that and has to remind him that they’re in this together and neither himself nor James mind taking care of him.

HC that the orange orbs on Yusei's jacket are squishy padding and his friends will poke and squish them sometimes out of boredom or to get his attention.

Despite the orange orbs looking similar, the ones on his kneepads are NOT squishy and certain people will find out the hard way via a Captain Falcon Knee to the spine.

Susie could’ve just cloned Mario or grabbed a different Player Character to use as her replacement Avatar, but that’s boring, so instead she mixes together a bunch of different DNA(with Mario’s as the base just to be safe) to see what she ends up with.

Thing is, the combination of her random gene mixing and all the Meme Energy she has to pump into the cloning tube interferes with the rapid growth bit of the cloning fluid, so the result is a preteen girl. A very small preteen girl, since again, Mario is the base of her DNA and he’s a Short King. This actually sets the God Box Fragment’s corruption back quite a ways because Susie takes one look at this small child she made and goes “fuck I’m a mom now.” It’s not enough to actually stop her plans or anything but still.
