I fully understand that “too much green to feel blue” is about having enough money to distract your self from your personal issues/ unpleasant feelings. However to me it’s about being to envious to acknowledge where you are sad. Hope this helps

also also seeing fame < infamy live is like. a pivotal life moment now. always been one of my absolute faves, and I hoped they would do it as the 8 ball song, but they have so many tunes, and I didn’t want to get too attached to one specific song. so when Pete was talking to the magic 8 ball and asked “is there... too much green... to feel blue?” I didn’t even process what was happening until the unbelievable intro to the song starts. I looked at my friend, who loves that song as much as I do, maybe even more, and we just screamed “OH MY GOD THEY’RE DOING IT” and hugged when they finished and yelled and cried and just. oh my god. didn’t even realize it was the live debut until later. i’m still in shock. unbelievable
