“What’re you doing out here? I thought you were at home desperately depressed and moping around because (Y/N) broke up with you.” Damon said as he spotted Jeremy at a stall. It was the annual Mystic Falls winter fair and he had been dragged along by Elena and Caroline. 

The fair, up until now, had been boring. But he’d seen that Bonnie had insisted that you come with her and quickly realised from a bit of eavesdropping that you and Bonnie thought that Jeremy was at home. Damon decided that there was one way that he could entertain himself.

"I don't want to be alone." Jeremy said quickly as he paid for his snack and started walking away. Damon managed to sway the pair of them in your direction as he spoke to Jeremy. Jeremy was so wrapped up in coming up with an argument for Damon who accused him of being lovesick that he didn’t notice you until the two of you had collided.

“(Y/N).” Jeremy said in surprise.

“Jer?” You sounded just as surprised. Behind the two of you, Bonnie gave Damon an accusing look.

“You knew they were both here and set this up on purpose didn’t you?” She asked and crossed her arms as they watched you both awkwardly interact.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. Why would I want these love-sick idiots back together and during the holiday season no less? Caroline will tell me it’s a winter miracle.”  Damon said but he smiled slightly.

“Right. This had nothing to do with Elena being upset that these two broke up over a stupid argument?” Bonnie smiled as Damon scoffed and walked away, refusing to answer. She waited until she was sure that you were going off with Jeremy before hurrying to find Elena and update her on you and Jeremy.

Derek had been stuck in his wolf form for so long that Stiles’ father had managed to acquire a licence for you to own a wolf-dog. Then Stiles managed to get papers to make it look as if you owned a wolf dog and had rescued Derek.

It had been months. Every day Deaton would drop by with a new idea and nothing would work. You’d gotten used to Derek clomping after you as you went about the house. It had been so long that it no longer felt odd to give him an occasional pat on the head.

“It’s nearly christmas eve. The next full moon is the day before… Do you think he’ll change back then?” Stiles asked the room. Everyone had gathered at yours after Lydia had made up a rota. Each house was decorated and had designated shopping days so no one would run into each other. Last year Stiles had ruined the secret santa by accidentally running into everyone at different times while they were shopping and ended up telling everyone else what had been bought. Lyda was determined that this year nothing would go wrong. Besides Derek being stuck in his wolf form.

“Who knows.” Scott muttered and stared at Derek who had a pile of tinsel balanced on his head while you stood on the arm of the sofa and tried to hang the other end up on some picture frames. You climbed down and looked through a box on the floor and pulled out a large wolf jumper. Your neighbour had given it to you with a box of dog biscuits. You and Derek had looked at each other as she handed them to you and called him a very good boy. It had been an amusing situation to be in, for you at least. 

“I know that Derek is stuck in their werewolf form. But do you think it’s inappropriate for me to put this doggie Christmas jumper on them?” You asked and held up the jumper. The room was filled with laughter which grew louder when Derek sneezed in objection.

dick would be such a sweet partner about it

like he'd research into how to help support someone with chronic pain

he would love coming to doctors appointments and asking the doctor how he can help

always there when you need him

even when he's got robin/nightwing things to deal with

if it means making you as comfortable as possible, he's there

sometimes though, he can't be but he always makes it up to you however and whichever you please

very good listener!!

lets you talk about your experience or if something's not right, dick's never the kind of person to brush it off

makes a good support system

i think titans!dick will make such an effort to get you to do small exercises (that the doctor encourages) and would reward you will kisses or maybe bits of food you like or something like that

dick does hate seeing you in pain though

especially when it's really bad

like seeing you like that just breaks his heart bc he knows he can't do anything to take the pain away

that being said, i think he's very understanding and would never do anything to cause you harm (whether it's touching you without asking or forcing you to get out of bed or doing exercises you're not up for)

sometimes its those days as well that makes you admire him and appreciate his hard efforts
