seeing that they’re doing another minis auction and it’s their biggest one yet and for fantasy high so presumably gonna make bank and they’re doing it to help send aid to Palestine rather than make a profit made me weep, i truly think no other streaming service can come close to comparing to dropout
if you are a fan of Dimension 20, starting March 4th there will be an auction of minis and set pieces from their campaign Fantasy High: Freshman Year. all profits will go to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund!
They're auctioning off the minis and parts of the battle maps from the first fantasy high season??? Oh my god....how much money do the biggest fans of fantasy high have....
I wouldn't see it as worth but I know a lot of people would....how much are you guys willing to pay to get your hands on these....???
I just saw what d20 is doing for an auction of their minis and stuff from fantasy high and I already thought it was so cool and then I saw they’re donating everything to the Palestine children’s relief fund and I’m so 🥺
i know and i love them so much😭😭😭. also i’m going to spend $10,000 on a corn cutie
in honor of fantasy high minis going up for auction, I'm remaking them in HF
I'm only doing them as they go up for auction though I have a paper to write.
this week (3/4) we got Adaine, Kristen, and Fabian on the Hangman.
3/11 oops i did it again but forgot i already made a post lol
pics & explanations under the cut.
things i can't match perfectly
color. I did my best, but i mean they did the painting bit IRL so some stuff I can't recreate with decals. also eyes are detailed in HF, I just picked what I remember their canon eye colors as being.
faces. HF completely changed how they do faces recently. I did my best but the mini faces are real tiny and hard to see and I'm unlikely to be able to recreate them.
poses. while there's very little advanced posing for these guys, there is some. I picked the base pose I think they started from.
this was actually much harder than I thought, because I had to remember what HF stuff was available way back then and what wasn't.
Adaine Abernant! (auction mini)
notes:
they made her before HF separated pants/skirts into an upper layer and lower layer, so I have no idea if there were leggings or anything originally. I am almost 100% certain those low poly flats are accurate though.
HF doesn't have socks, so I did my best with decals, but the skirt covers up where the sock color fades into skin color.
surprisingly, Adaine's mini has like. dark red lipstick. its a good look I just didn't notice it earlier.
couldn't get the Hudol decal on her jacket or the stripes on her tie. you can get patterns on the shirt but not on the tie :/
she's not smiling as much bc the 3d printed face isn't smiling that much its just the way the lipstick's painted that does the smiling for her.
Kristen Applebees! (auction mini)
notes
they don't have corn on HF. I think this rotated fern looks OK though. same w her book, I scootched some decals around to try and match the design at least a little.
while they do have patterns for clothes now, they don't have a tie-dye one. this is a heavily modified leopard print. not as many different colors, but the ones that are on there do match the ones on the mini's shirt.
this is one of the few where I think I did in fact get her face right. I copied my old Kristen design from before the face customizer came out, so this is the old "round face" preset.
the freckles are subtler obviously but i s2g they're there and they are reddish-orange
Fabian Aramais Seacaster & The Hangman (auction mini)
notes
his hair. ooh boy. they did the tiny mohawk and then painted on shaved sides but HF can't do shaved sides like that so I used a truly ghoulish amount of decals to approximate. [update: they have since added shaved head decals and I have updated the boy accordingly]
also he does technically have eyebrows 3d printed on i think, but they aren't painted separately. its just skin color. and that just looked bad and wrong on HF so i took his brows off altogether.
they made the skull themselves, but otherwise it's mostly the same bike. I used the "bloody skull" color for the headlight as a lil tribute.
this type of rapier used to be much chunkier, whatcha gonna do. I like this one better anyway.
they can do decals on the back now but none on just the sleeves, or on the front where the A is. rip.
fun fact: this is not a letterman jacket. This is what's called the "outlaw's shirt and vest" props to the team for resourcefulness, good jackets in HF are relatively recent.
To wrap up the Fantasy High Freshman Year Minis Auction - thanks to the unbelievable generosity of fans, we were able to make a $185,000 donation to @thepcrf! You can donate yourself using this link: https://pcrf1.app.neoncrm.com/forms/general
For transparency: Took a few weeks to finalize as some auction winners did not follow through with payment. The total revenue generated from the auction was about $217,000, and our costs ran about $35,000 (for labor, materials, and operations). We opted to round down costs a bit.

Dreading the day the fantasy high minis go on auction
oh shit have we gotten confirmation they’re planning on selling the fh minis?? Or is this just an assumption predicated on the past sales of the acoc and tuc minis bc I hadn’t heard anything abt a fh mini auction 👀👀 also I’m curious as to why you’re dreading it? Because of how insane the prices will surely be for all the minis given past results in the previous auction, or because it possibly implies no fh junior year (even though iirc the messaging in past mini auctions specified that selling old minis didn’t mean that they weren’t closed to the potential to do future campaigns set in those settings) ?? Or a separate third reason that hasn’t occurred to me??
IPL 2023: Major Setback For Hardik Pandya's Gujarat Titans, Pacer Worth 4.4 Cr To Miss The Initial Matches
IPL 2023 is all set to begin on March 31st where the defending Champions Gujarat Titans will face Chennai Super Kings in a high voltage match. Meanwhile, the Hardik Pandya led franchise has got a setback as the young Ireland's pacer Joshua Little has suffered an injury and he is ruled out from the ongoing Pakistan Super League 2023.
The left-arm pacer has returned to his home Ireland and he is likely to miss a few matches for Gujarat Titans at the beginning of tournament. Cricinformer wants to inform you that Gujarat Titans got this all-rounder for 4.4 crore in the mini-auction that happened on December 23 last year.
Cricinformer also wants to highlight that Joshua Little became the first active Irish Player to bag an IPL contract when GT got them for a whopping price.
Little, who is 23 years old, was supposed to play in the PSL for the Multan Sultans. He reported hamstring pain while playing for Pretoria Caps in the SA20. And Cricket Ireland reported that the pacer returned home, "out of an abundance of caution."
Little is hoping to make a comeback during Ireland's three-match ODI series against Bangladesh next month. It is hoped that he will get fit in time to complete his IPL deal.

" The late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld (1933- 2018 ) was an interesting controversial figure in many respects and a man of eclectic taste.
If you look at the two Sotheby's auctions of his effects in December 2018 you will see what I mean.
Turning to his Wikipedia entry you will see homes he lived in; a sufficiently large number where he could store his exceedingly large collection of furniture ,artefacts and art works etc from many eras.
In 2007, Lagerfeld famously spoke of refusing to keep any posessions. “I throw everything away,” Lagerfeld told The New Yorker. “The most important piece of furniture in a house is the garbage can! I keep no archives of my own, no sketches, no photos, no clothes – nothing!”
Prior to working for Chanel ; Largerfeld worked for Fendi (which he later owned )as well as Chloé.
In his very early years he worked for Jean Patou, Balmain and Tiziani. In 1963 Lagerfeld began working at the Roman couture house Tiziani where he stayed for six years .The Italian fashion house was patronised by Liz Taylor, Doris Duke and Gina Lollobrigida.
In 2014, Palm Beach Modern Auctions announced that many of Lagerfeld's early sketches for the House of Tiziani in Rome would be auctioned. Here are my some of my favourite fashion sketches from various sources and I have to confess I do like the work he did for Chloé.
The full-length, high-necked, and long-sleeved design stood out in a period of micro-mini, body-revealing styles, but Lagerfeld’s unique design sensibility is even more evident in the floral motifs hand-painted by Nicole Lefort.
The expanse of ivory silk crepe used to make the dress acted as a canvas for an array of colourful, stylized flowers that swirl around the entire garment – so precisely rendered that they look screen-printed, rather than hand-painted. Chloé’s ready-to-wear revolution had truly come into its own from “Paris Refashioned, 1957-1968” exhibition 2017 at The Museum at FIT in NYC.
Karl Lagerfeld, began working for the label in 1964. His sense of fantasy and exuberance, as well as his creative reinterpretations of historic styles, soon came to characterise the Chloé brand. His impact was such that his work took precedence over other Chloé designers By 1965 the credit line “Karl Lagerfeld for Chloé” appeared in Vogue Paris.
Other designers for the label included Christiane Bailly, Maxime de la Falaise, Graziella Fontana, Tan Giudicelli, Gérard Pipart, and Michèle Rosier, but it is Largerfeld who is best remembered for the rise of the Chloé brand.
