I forgot to mention, I was looking at some different disorder cringe groups on reddit and found one person asking what the criteria/signs were that someone was faking their disorder.

Not one person in that group had a proper answer. Every comment was different variations of "you sort of just know" and "it's obvious when you see it".

It is literally just proof that they have no idea what they're talking about. You could fit the exact criteria to any disorder and they'll still post you there because you're simply different to what they're used to and that's upsetting to them.

I'm going to refrain from posting anymore about r/fdc, but please keep that in mind when you're feeling insecure as a result of those groups. They have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. None of them are qualified to be judging anyone like that.

you can really tell syscringers/fdc/whatever it is these days only roam the pro endo tags, despite claiming to cringe at any and all "system cringe" even diagnosed systems, because they 1) won't typically post posts that are in syscourse only without the pro endo tags, and 2) will typically just post shit that is so niche it's considered niche in syscourse like... *reads notes* selling headmates??

in 5+ years I've been in syscourse, I've seen like... 2-3 posts trying to sell headmates. which are scams anyway? can we all agree those are a scam. because they are. because they want real actual real life money for something that's not even guaranteed to work. like scams are.

build a headmate blogs are out there for free if you need a template or general help to create/develop a headmate. or meditation guides. or daemonism if you're less into creating headmates and more on self-discovery and new perspectives. hell find an obod member they'll talk your ears off about spirit work. genuine options are endless, but syscringe and fdc will focus on the ONE thing that everyone can agree is fake ass. dude find something better to do with all that energy you got there

I don't know, I think r/fakedisordercringe is okay, actually.

I spent the worst part of 6 years thinking I had DID, and other things I didn't because my ex-husband fucking Munchausen By Proxy'ed me. FDC not only made me realize that what I was experiencing was likely fake, but also reminded me that even with a fuck ton of research, and self tests, you can still be wrong. I'd spent 4 out of those 6 years looking shit up, self assessing, taking those assessments to my psyche. I was wrong.

I am now seeking diagnosis for BPD, as my best friend, who is a medically certified psych, and literally diagnoses people for a living, has suggested I do, as I meet the criteria for BPD way before DID.

FDC also made me realize how many people fake being autistic. Which I have been fighting for assessment and diagnoses for almost my entire life, despite being quite obviously autistic in my day-to-day life.

Those who fake, those who appropriate - do you not realize you are actively harming people? Do you not realize you are actively making it harder to get proper diagnoses? To get proper resources? To be taken seriously by medical professionals?

I suddenly have a question.

Recent comics focus on immigration issues and heroic stories. I don't think they have told any of them well, and at the same time, they have lost their characteristics.

If dc really wants to shape jaime Reyes as a "representative of Mexican heroes" (I mean, after all, they already take “the first Mexican hero “as a cover)

Why don't they show more local characteristics in the comics? El Paso architecture and customs (of course, deserts, but there are also deserts in the Middle East). I even searched on the Internet to find that El Paso has beautiful colors and romantic streets. But in the comics, no matter which one, it doesn't show much of these. I don't even know what the reyes family will eat at least for dessert (I still need to search it myself，This actually hinders a foreigner (yeah，yeah，I'm a foreigner) from creating fan works.）

I love Jaime, but look, after 2006, I feel like I'm in love with an empty shell. In the end, the boy's story has become more and more shallow in the infinite extension, until now it has become like a tool, which can be dispensable. (Just give me a detailed city view and a dining table，it’s okay ) Maybe, I mean, they should really go deeper to integrate local characteristics and cultural connotations to create something really influential and meaningful, instead of short-sighted and superficially just making the character into a cool symbol .which superhero is not like this? These are basically the same works，If there is such a common phenomenon, is there a problem with dc's improvement measures?

if you want to write a community culture, you can't just focus on the growth experience of the protagonist. How does the community work? What do the locals celebrate? What are you proud of? How does the culture adjust and adapt to the changing times? What is the thought of the people? I think as a reader, I prefer to see the public's true view of this hero and the culture he represents, rather than just putting the camera on Jaime, or formulaical creation stories.

After all, this is a personal heroic comic. You can't have too many illusions.

But I think it is their responsibility as one of the most influential comic companies to create something really meaningful instead of just focusing on making money and political propaganda.
