I just finished listening to Elliot Page's book and I have to say it was an interesting piece of literature. I highly highly recommend it.

I have never read a book that is so closely aligned with myself as a trans man and my upbringing. I never thought I would read book that defines what it means to be a trans man in the public eye. I do not want to be as famous as him but I would like to make a change to the world as he has.

I am comfortable in who I am and who I love and how I choose to express my gender. Things really can and often do get better with time. And I hope that any person that sees this knows that they are not trapped in the shoes that society has put them in and they can actively choose a different pair.

I would love to read Pageboy soon; these memoirs and other art and literature are our history, part of our lifeblood as a community, and it's vital that we read each other's lives and understand that we truly are here in this world💛

a few nights ago i went to have drinks with an acquaintance and we went to this really loud bar. My bf went to go scout out the bathrooms and while we talked a bit on the drive over this was my first time meeting her and i'm a shy little freak

She had pinned me as a gamer (ouch) and asks me what games i've been playing recently. I say baldurs gate which is a very normal and well-adjusted answer. She nods in agreement and responds thats she's been playing some fighting game, and that I should try it because, and i am slightly paraphrasing here, "there's girls in it".

This reasoning shocked me. Even IF i heard the name of the game over the bar music it wouldn't have mattered because all of my neural processes were fixed on this completely left field reasoning and trying to understand what she meant by that???

But she (and HER boyfriend who is also here) is now looking at me, expecting a response. Buckling under social pressure I blurt out

"Sorry, I'm not into women"

See, what I MEANT TO SAY was "Oh sorry, Im not really a fan of anime girls or fighting games" (because I assumed it was like skullgirls or something) but in the stress of the moment my brain boiled down all of the nuance of my reply into something so damning that i could feel the flames of hell start to lick at my ankles.

"How can you NOT be into women?!" they cry out in unison. panicked, I backtrack: "I-I mean I DO like women but it's not like that.. I RESPECT women!" I have not even clarified that i'm talking about ANIME women, and that i really feel no which way about them. but at this point i've fallen into a social chasm so deep that my reasoning does little to cushion my night's descent into complete catastrophe. "I would let a woman hit me with her car"

Then, newly found acquaintance puts the final nail in my coffin with a final, interrogative fall of the conversational hammer: "Are you a SIMP?"

I felt like my life was ending. The blaring saxophone playing over the bar speakers faded into high-pitched ringing. I could feel my soul being tugged into oblivion as my name gets scrawled on an ill-fated list in the black book of Alleged Simps, a public record psionically beamed into every queer person in the tri-state area so that they may forever know of my shame

It was all good btw. I was invited to her house and was delighted to know that her bedroom was painted to look like an inside of a mouth, she had a lamp you can jack off to turn on, and that her ceilings were adorned with a modest 4 ornate boob lights (which does not beat the record of most boob lights in a house i've seen, being my own with a triumphant 13)

Just got up to get water and and somehow completely ate shit for no reason didn’t even trip on anything just immediately fell face first out of bed looney toons style which is almost impressive. Also broke my already quite decrepit stand fan in the process but it was on its dying days I just put it out of its misery

Where did paper Mile come from?

Originally, Apo did nothing to hide his dejected mood at the KPWT send off. He was doing his everything to celebrate the art he made with his colleagues as well as making sure to make Mile feel included.

Check out this awesome writeup by @mellowroxy about Apo making sure Mile was included if you haven't seen it yet.

But then suddenly even Apo's mood lifted with the appearance of life-sized paper standee Mile! The above video is the first time Apo sees paper Mile. You can see his little wai greeting at it because Apo is just the cutest.

Where did paper Mile come from? How did he get to the event?

Paper Mile was originally a gift to Mile from Chinese fans sent in July.

Before people get silly out about how fans sent him a paper standee of himself, it looks like they attached handwritten notes supporting Mile that made up the shape of wings. No wonder Mile kept it!

But paper Mile's heroism wasn't done yet. He had to save the KPWT send off for the most important person: Apo

The Mile Phakphum fanclub administrator confirmed with a fan who had helped send the standee that Mile had asked a friend to bring it to the event.

It looks like Apo was on the phone quite a bit before paper Mile arrived. Maybe it was a mid-event decision Mile had thought of...? Certainly would explain why paper Mile only showed up halfway into the event. But fear not, because from then forth Apo's frown was turned upside down.

From then forward, Apo would not let paper Mile go. No one else was allowed to touch paper Mile either.

Apo blew paper Mile a kiss while carrying him on his back. He also kissed and cuddled it constantly. In front of everyone's fan cams lol.

Here's three different videos of Apo doing that little turn thing he did with Mile at the KisFarger press conference that Jeff (RIGHTFULLY) clowned him for.

Not the way he managed to invent chemistry with paper Mile. Truly impressive. (Though I'm definitely Jeff here lmfao).

Two more I don't know how to classify: constantly carrying the cardboard cutout with him and also serving meow fanservice at the same time.

Apo made sure paper Mile was in the center of the second group photo they took with fans :)

Where does paper Mile go from here?

He's probably at Apo's place now lol. I guess we'll have to see! I'm sure someone will ask them about it at a future fan meet Q&A

To find out that all of the people who accused Michael Jackson of being a c***d m****ter and harassed him about him for decades are finally getting exposed for being exactly what they accused him of is oddly satisfying for the fact that this vindicates Michael even more than before, but it's also infuriating for the trauma and pain they severely inflicted upon that innocent man for years and years and how that led to his self-destruction. All of this because they wanted to cover their own predatory behinds.

i am experiencing a dilemma

should i bring my backpack that can hold two devices to uni or should i bring the smaller one that can only hold one device but is way cuter

BACKPACK 1

pros:

- can fit two devices (laptop + ipad)

cons:

- idk if i’ll be using the laptop cause it’s so old the fans go crazy when i open it

- idk if i can use the ipad cause the keyboard (on the case) won’t work and i’ll be too slow typing on the screen keyboard

^basically i might need both

- not ugly but not cute and REALLY big

BACKPACK 2

pros:

- SO CUTE - has a little catbus attached and i wanna make friends

cons:

- can only fit the ipad (which might not work) and i might need my laptop

- could try taking notes with my apple pencil but it’s a knock off so while it still works great the battery is…

^also my handwriting still sucks so unfortunately it can’t detect half the words i write

don’t have to read below but this is what i originally wrote it’s basically the same thing but with more detail

1. the first backpack is really big and it’ll be heavy if i carry it around. HOWEVER i don’t know if i’l need two devices or not. i’d be bringing an old laptop which has fans that haven’t been cleaned in 6 years so it goes crazy when it’s open and an ipad that’s about 3 years old but the keyboard won’t work so i don’t know if i can type notes fast enough

2. the second backpack is smaller and would fit my ipad and is so cute but still has enough space for everything else just not the laptop. i could take notes using my apple pencil but i’m not used to it and it’s a knock off (literally $170 cheaper omg) so i’m worried that it won’t work. it has so far but the battery is ass (ngl i’ve never tried an actual apple pencil before though so the battery might just be like that)

ok so wanna hear about my real life aurelius religious experience lolol here we go

so yesterday i went to see argylle (very camp much fun super cheese) and afterwards went to play the claw machines at the mall (cause i love them) and lo and behold! there was a loid forger plushie in the machine

ofc my brain being RP-coded it went Blond Hair + Suit = Aury so i was like "lol don't worry Not Aury i'll save you from the box" and i got him no prob

then afterwards i went to buy mango and passionfruit ice cream rolls and was chatting with friends on discord about Not Aury and sending them pics of me feeding him and suddenly...this lady comes to sit next to me

"hi," she says, "i just wanted to introduce myself. have you heard about God? would you be interested in joining our weekly Bible study?"

cue random lady giving me a lesson on her faith (complete with neat phone slideshow about its historical miracles) and then telling me how to be saved, etc etc.

now while i am a faithful kind of person i don't know if talking to girls eating ice cream alone with their plushie in the mall is the right time to convert them so after we both talked about our faith and realized we believed equally firmly in different things she suddenly got up and said "ok goodbye have a nice day" and left with her two friends who were standing in the background and prolly giving her moral support

anyways lesson learned do not tempt gods and also Aury if you decided to possess my plushie im telling you now i don't have a plushie Klaus at home i only have a giant Wang Yi pillow now go back to your tumblr and bother people there

(fun fact: this isn't the first time i've been targeted by random nice lady from a christian organization, last time it was me eating dipping dots on a massage chair in a mall. so maybe you know, i should stop sitting down while i eat or stop getting ice cream or heck it stop shopping alone hahaha. that lady invited me to their church for a party and so i went with a neighbor to check it out, it was nice and the food was pretty good but it still was something )

edit: forgot to add this is the other plushie I won that day, some sort of bunny sashimi thing. anyways she’s home with some random 8-10 year old girl now whee:

btw if there are any other young americans out there who are extremely intimidated by filing your taxes and don’t know where to start, i really recommend H&R block. I use the free one because my taxes are pretty straightforward as a single person, and even when ive moved across state lines like 5 times i can still do it with H&R block for free

just go to their website, make an account, and you’ll have to click “yes i want to use the free version yes i promise NO i don’t want to give you money” a couple times but i find it really direct and simple and it walks you through the whole process in one sitting. it takes me less than one afternoon every year
