Louis Tomlinson has dropped a surprise album ‘Live’ – featuring songs that he recorded at 15 shows across 15 different cities.

Announced and shared yesterday (April 25), the album comes after the singer and former One Direction member embarked on two world tours over the past three years – playing just shy of 200 shows globally.

Now, a variety of performances from both tours – the ‘Louis Tomlinson World Tour’ and the ‘Faith in the Future World Tour’ – have been compiled into a new live album, which is available now.

Fifteen songs are included in the tracklist, and each was recorded in a different city, at a different show from across the three-year run. The album comes in both digital and physical formats, and features his singles including ‘Bigger Than Me’, ‘We Made It, ‘Walls’ and ‘Out Of My System’, alongside fan favourite album tracks, all released live for the very first time.

“I’ve been lucky enough to spend the last 3 years touring the world twice over. The feeling I get sharing those live moments will be with me forever,” Tomlinson said in a statement. “To be able to record these songs from all over the world and put them out as an album like this feels so special, and a real tribute to the fans who make each and every show feel unique and incredible. Thank you! Enjoy!”

There are four exclusive tracks split between the physical editions of ‘Live’, including a special version of the One Direction classic ‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go’ – which is available only on the double CD.

Accompanying video clips of compiled tour footage will be shared on Louis’s social channels to support the release, showcasing a glimpse into his past three years on the road and 170 performances.

At time of writing, Tomlinson has shared two huge solo albums since departing from One Direction. His debut album arrived in the firm of 2020’s ‘Walls’, which has sold over 1.5 million copies, and the follow-up was called ‘Faith In The Future’. The latter went to Number One in the UK, Spain and Belgium, and Top 5 in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and across Europe.

Since May last year, Tomlinson has been on his ‘Faith In The Future World Tour’, which hits South America next month for its final leg. From there, the vocalist has a number of festival appearances lined up for the summer. Find remaining tickets to his shows here.

In other Louis Tomlinson news, earlier this week the singer, alongside Courteeners and English Teacher, were among the acts to be honoured at the first-ever Northern Music Awards.

The inaugural ceremony was hosted by the UK’s largest music therapy charity, Nordoff And Robbins and took place at the Albert Hall in Manchester; celebrating northern artists, festivals, venues and industry figures. The event saw Tomlinson named as Artist Of The Year.

• 8/13, WYB allegedly drove and went to XZ’s LOCH shoot. You may see some photos and videos that is allegedly the proof but you can’t even see the driver’s face. There’s also some talk that “WYB” was wearing a motorcycle helmet so there will be no chance people seeing him. I don’t know what to think. I understand how exciting it is, how hilarious that people even speculate about this and the fact that cpns like this is dangerous. i would hate for melon/yxh accounts to pick this up and get them in trouble. • This month, I saw 2 questionable videos going around related to them. I do not endorse spreading these videos around but i can’t help that it pops up on my weibo feed and fans really have different etiquette when it comes to this. But i have to say that it should be a genera rule to not promote these proxy shooting because it’s too invasive. If they are hiding, we should not be the ones exposing them. They are already working enough as it is to keep their privacy. Please do not ask me for the video. I am mentioning it here for archiving purposes only.

One video is from WYB’s shoot of Luoyang, Lele & YanYan were assisting another guy aside from WYB with an umbrella. Why would they do that? We know the hiding by umbrella ploy was used before, like in SDC 3. So are they using the same tactic to protect this friend when he is visiting the crew?

Second one is at a hotel. Video is allegedly from a 🍤, they were more interested with XZ but they filmed WYB was also in the same hotel. XZ went in without any luggage too.

The videos are not clear at all, to the point that you can’t provide this as evidence in court that “based on this video it’s clearly wyb or xz” , so take it with a grain of salt.

This drama will be done in a month so i don’t know if WYB’s Bright Road can still squeeze in it’s airing before the year ends, tho i’m not optimistic cause drama licensing is tricky. Before LOCH gets released Spring Festival 2024. No matter what happens, All I know is BXGs are booked and busy!

You need to understand, seeing Chris lift up and point his bass at the crowd at the end of the slightly modified Jimmy Jam riff before Time Is Running Out was a religious experience that changed me and we're lucky enough to live in an age where you and I can witness it over and over and over again and I'd suggest that you do)

Shepherd's Bush Empire 2006 (Early gigs are always interesting because over time Muse develop different ways of playing songs that are fresh off new albums. The way they work through Take A Bow live is a bit different here, Dom's the one controlling the opening verse synths! During the Abso tour, Matt would play that bit on the piano as an intro to Space Dementia and if I'm remembering right, he does now on the pianos (correct me—this was on the ST tour as well). Also, Starlight in Bm at this gig)

Rock Werchter 2023 (Muse play Rock Werchter in Belgium almost every year, except for the pandemic and 2012 I think, but this year's was a bit special. Best performance of Madness I've seen in a while, I love what he does in the outro! MOTP returns to the set. Muse had tech troubles at the end that caused them to restart Knights of Cydonia twice, to no avail. They finally cut it back for a guitar-bass-drum-vocals-only performance of Showbiz, and Matt's voice sounds exceptional on it— the best in recent years)

Bizarre Fest 2000 (BLESS SOMEONE HAS RESTORED THIS FROM VHS TAPE IN HD, this is so much better than back in the day!! If the falsetto at 1:13 doesn't do it for you, you're into the wrong band, nothing else will help. What an electric performance this was!)

For decades, tensions between Los Santos and the Sons of Silence have flared in Tonopah Valley, but in August of 2022, they finally reached a fever pitch when a third player stealthily slipped into the fray, determined to drive them both out for good.

Using the two groups' contempt for one another as fuel for the fire, this newest player, The Enterprise, launched their takeover bid at the first annual Fire & Ice Charity Gala. Under the guise of celebration and fellowship, The Enterprise captured and murdered Enrique Alvarez, a member of Los Santos, in covert fashion and had him strung up for all in attendance to see. Strapping a sign that read "This is Our Town," around his neck, it was all too easy for most to lean into the idea that the Sons of Silence had been behind this gruesome attack– an assumption that played right into The Enterprise's hands. A month later, The Enterprise struck again, this time at the Sons of Silence MC. During the 42nd annual Fall Bike Festival, a homemade bomb was strapped to one of the motorcycles in line for the yearly parade. Before the tradition could fully commence, that bomb was detonated, killing two founding members of the Sons of Silence (Dean MacNally & Serkan Tezel), a prospect (Kahil "Kyle" Sakarya), and wounding several others. At first glance, it appeared to be Los Santos' retaliation for Enrique's murder just a month prior, but it spanned much deeper than that – Los Santos and the Sons just weren't fully aware of that yet, though members of each faction soon began suspecting a third player on the board, even though they had no idea how to find them. Over the next couple months, Tonopah Valley remained in a state of shock and desperation as gang members and citizens alike rallied, determined to protect their own and stay safe. During that time, Los Santos and the Sons of Silence, under the leadership of Rio Romero and Cole Monroe, respectively, reached an agreement for a tentative ceasefire under the mutual belief that there was a third player aiming to pit them against one another. Meanwhile, The Enterprise stayed quiet, though there was plenty unfolding behind the scenes. All of that would come to a head on New Year’s Eve when Dante Parker, the Assistant District Attorney and a board member of The Enterprise, chose to strike. In doing so, he murdered an innocent woman (Kate McNulty) and nearly murdered the acting police chief at the time, Shepherd Decker, in fear that the man was getting a little too close to uncovering ugly truths. Naturally, this sent the Valley into an uproar once more, with Shepherd's sister, Sawyer, and their newfound half-brother, Cole Monroe (President of the Sons of Silence), eager for retribution.

Together, Cole and Sawyer hunted Dante Parker down and disposed of him – an act that would lead to the sort of widespread psychological attack that no one had seen coming. At the second annual Fire & Ice Charity Gala in October of 2023, pandemonium broke out after a mostly stable spring and summer. Blank shots were fired at the gala and a chilling message suddenly appeared to all who were in attendance – a message demanding the immediate return of Dante Parker. Of course, that demand couldn’t be met (a fact that is only known to the Sons of Silence and a select few others), and as a result, more and more of these anonymous messages began appearing week after week. Each message targeted a different individual and aimed to out their deepest secrets.  One especially notable secret detailed a heinous betrayal at the hands of Los Santos' general, Alejandra Eguia, that saw to the death of Capo Hernando Valdez's father. That reveal ignited quite the reaction, one that led to the carefully concocted murder of Alejandra by Valdez and his associate, Chase McCoy, and the inevitable collapse of Los Santos' presence in Tonopah. Rio Romero, the second in the command, quickly rushed to the group's headquarters in Mexico in a desperate bid to smooth over the ramifications of Alejandra's death and preserve the business flow that so many relied on. Operations were shifted into Las Vegas for those who wanted to continue on. Back in Tonopah though, things only went from bad to worse for Los Santos once The Enterprise was finally unveiled in a tell-all article in the Tonopah Tribune written by local journalist, Mikayla Beaumont. Giovanni Ricci, the head of The Enterprise, now exposed and emboldened, declared open season on what was left of Los Santos, a move that inevitably struck like a final nail in the coffin to the gang's presence in Tonopah.

Atualizações desde o ano passado:

Não fiz mais nenhuma viagem para fora em 2023 desde a viagem dos EUA, então, encerrando o ano com a digníssima;

Passei o ano novo na praia, esse é um padrão por aqui;

Encerrei meu ciclo na Cogna Educação como Gerente de Produto (Product Manager) para iniciar um outro ciclo;

Iniciei o novo ciclo profissional na Locaweb como Gerente de Marketing de Produtos Sênior (Senior Product Marketing Manager);

Janeiro foi bem parado, estava colocando em nota meus planos para 2024;

Fui comemorar meus 28 anos em San Andrés, na Colômbia. Passei 1 dia em Bogotá e 8 dias na ilha de San Andrés. Foi a primeira vez dos meus pais fora do país e foi incrível poder proporcionar isso para eles (vide algumas fotos da viagem abaixo)

Uns dias antes da viagem, encontrei uns amigos e fui comemorar com eles minha data (vide única foto que encontrei nessa galeria com mais de 22 mil fotos) nota: a 4ª e 5ª da foto conheci aqui no Tumblr, são amigas de anos, que saíram do virtual e se tornaram grandes companheiras na vida real 🤍 as outras 2 primeiras são amigas também de longa data, que inclusive foram minhas madrinhas de casamento

Voltamos para o Brasil ali já no finalzinho de fevereiro, nos primeiros dias de março meu gato Kira adoeceu, de alguma forma contraiu uma espécie de gripe felina e foi simplemente desesperador, mal havíamos voltado de viagem, nem chegamos a desfazer as malas, ficamos indo de hospital em hospital para salvar ele. Foi simplemente desesperador, principalmente quando ele transmitiu a gripe para meu outro gato, o Ryuk. Tive enormes crises de ansiedade, chorei por dias e dias seguidos. No momento, tô aguardando atualizações de outros festivais. Rock in Rio tá entregando uma line de aniversário de bairro, simplesmente péssimo, não me despertou qualquer interesse até o momento. Sigo aguardando algum posicionamento da Knotfest para saber o que nos aguarda. Mas, até então, nenhum outro festival a vista;

In a despicable way, Tenoch tries to intimidate me by hinting that he hired a legal team to initiate the corresponding actions and protect his reputation. The civil route reconciles the parties and unfortunately the violence that I received and continue to receive from you, in Mexico is still not recognized and much less legislated as in other countries.

Psychopathic abuse is a characteristic that whiteness has against racialized people and Tenoch together with members of Poder Prieto, with the appropriation of anti-racist speeches, have exercised it with me and with other people.

Dare to talk about this situation is not easy and Tenoch with the intention of detracting from my statement and legitimate truth, with his lies he has generated hatred and puts himself in danger, since I have received threats to burn myself with acid from fans of the characters he has interpreted in the audiovisual medium. I tell them that I don't want money or fame. All I want is for this violence to stop and to be able to live in peace. The first step is to raise your voice to name them and put a stop to them.

I remind you that nothing justifies threatening, violating and intimidating women for raising their voices. The character is one thing and the person who plays him is another, and being dark-skinned never exonerates you from being a violator who abuses his power.

In my opinion the only situation that could be punishable by law would be the possible "stealthing". But that would be hard to prove.

Lantejoulas cintilantes no Vale do Amanhecer  > JOAQUIM PAIVA

O capixaba Joaquim Paiva, fotógrafo, tradutor, curador e um dos mais importantes colecionadores de fotografia da América Latina, com cerca de 2000 obras de seu acervo cedido em comodato para o Museu de Arte Moderna (MAM) do Rio de Janeiro, um material amealhado por anos em suas viagens como diplomata, em diferentes países que exerceu sua profissão desde o final dos anos 1960 até recentemente. Foi em Brasília, DF, que graduou-se em Direito e onde fez sua primeira exposição em 1972, Abstrações, no Clube das Nações. Desde então a capital e sua peculiar sociedade esteve em seu repertório e em seus livros, o mais recente Lantejoulas cintilantes no Vale do Amanhecer ( [Lp] Press, 2023).

O Vale do Amanhecer é uma comunidade religiosa eclética localizada em Planaltina, a 45 km do centro de Brasília, fundada em 1959 pela sergipana Neiva Chaves Zelaya (1925-1985) conhecida como "Tia Neiva", ex-caminhoneira, um dos personagens deste livro que como o autor descreve poeticamente: "aparece sentada, olhando para a câmera, os cabelos pretos armados e um elegante vestido com faixas em tons de amarelo, preto, branco, vermelho, verde e roxo. Olhar atencioso, muito educada, falava pouco."

Lantejoulas cintilantes no Vale do Amanhecer, de certa forma, dá continuidade a  produção primordial do autor sobre a cidade e seu entorno, iniciada nos anos 1970 e representada em livros como Foto na Hora-Lembranças de Brasília ( Centro de la Imagen-México, 2013), Rodoviária de Brasília ( [Lp] Press, 2021 ), Farsa Truque Ilusões ( [Lp] Press, 2017) e Brasília de 0 a 40 anos: Cidade Livre ( Arte 21, 2000). Publicações entre as outras de caráter mais artístico e íntimo como 1927-1970 ( {Lp} Press, 2019) um livro que homenageia sua mãe, a partir de seus diários autobiográficos e o Zine Elson faz 70 ( {Lp} Press, 2018) sobre seu irmão, em cerca de dez livros que compõem seu repertório.

Assim como Rodoviária de Brasília, o penúltimo livro, lançado em 2022 no Festival Foto em Pauta Tiradentes e esta edição no mesmo evento em março deste ano, o autor retoma os anos 1970 não somente no seu conteúdo mas também no elegante projeto gráfico, feito pela editora que nos faz lembrar das publicações da Aperture, uma ONG criada em 1952 nos Estados Unidos, uma das poucas editoras a desembarcar nas raríssimas livrarias especializadas em fotografia no Brasil dos anos 1970 e 1980, como a da Fotoptica de Thomaz Farkas (1924-2011  ) e a  Álbum, do fotógrafo Zé de Boni.

Paiva escreve que visitou o Vale do Amanhecer pela primeira vez em 1981. Mas as  fotografias estão divididas em cores, feitas em 1983 e em branco e preto, de 1987. "A atmosfera mística do lugar era envolvente: o Vale surgiu inspirado em religiões e doutrinas variadas, como o cristianismo, o espiritismo kardecista e as civilizações do antigo Egito e dos Incas - um sincretismo que não se deixa decifrar facilmente. As vestimentas dos fiéis, muito coloridas, denotam funções dentro da hierarquia da comunidade."

Para as imagens em preto e branco, o fotógrafo criou uma espécie de estúdio, usando um pano de fundo que pendurava fora do templo. Sua ideia foi destacar a paisagem, os fiéis e as pessoas à paisana. "A luz intensa do planalto proporcionava sombras dramáticas, que se juntavam às dobras do pano." Curiosamente, esta proposta, onde uma das imagens ilustra a capa da edição, guardadas as proporções lembra uma das primeiras imagens que Paiva adquiriu para sua grande coleção, uma fotografia da americana Diane Arbus (1923-1971), "Albino Sword Swallower at a Carnival", de 1970, a engolidora de espadas fica no centro da imagem, braços estendidos e blusa branca marcando o centro da composição, enquanto o cabo da espada espelha o crucifixo sugerido por seu corpo. Uma tenda de lona ondulante forma o pano de fundo da fotografia, indicando que esta é uma performance que ocorre nos bastidores, não para consumo público. O que podemos relacionar certamente ao proposta do fotógrafo brasileiro, ainda que a maioria das suas imagens sejam mais contemplativas.

Joaquim Paiva escreve que, "Revendo essas fotos tempos depois, me dei conta que os fotografados pareciam personagens de um teatro. Meninos curiosos se intrometiam pelas bordas para espiar, tornando-se participantes das imagens (convidei um deles, montado a cavalo, para entrar em cena). O preto e branco é misterioso, ainda mais ao lado das cores vibrantes."

Esta última ideia, a dicotomia entre a cor e o monocromático, sustenta plenamente a narrativa do fotógrafo, ajudada pelo distanciamento temporal entre o ato fotográfico e a edição das imagens, mais livre do envolvimento afetivo e do apego que os fotógrafos normalmente têm a elas ao relacionar suas experiências com suas fotografias. O que encontramos também nos livros anteriores. A visão atual do autor sustenta-se igualmente na função do colecionador e seu ampliado arcabouço imagético adicionado por tantos anos de convivência e pesquisa da fotografia.

No entanto, as imagens construídas em cor, em sua grande maioria retratos, sugerem mais um snapshot do fotógrafo, ao circular pelo templo e fora dele. A construção de um fundo específico, mas despojado para o P & B também tem esta leveza, que evita o embate entre os dois formatos, que na verdade trazem ganhos para as duas concepções. É um registro essencialmente documental, mas com uma cadência maior em razão destas opções.

Joaquim Paiva descreve: "Para além dos fiéis, dos interiores e das fachadas de templos, dos totens, das figuras do sol e da lua crescente, toda uma outra cena emerge, pois ali reside uma comunidade com os seus negócios: os cuidadores das malas e pertences dos frequentadores, os vendedores de automóveis expostos numa vitrine improvisada, a papelaria, as costureiras na loja de botões e aviamentos, os bares, a livraria religiosa, o engraxate."

Sua descrição gráfica e conceitual abrange uma comunidade que transformou-se radicalmente nas últimas décadas, com a expansão caótica da capital brasileira que desviou-se do projeto original criado pelo arquiteto Oscar Niemeyer (1907-2012) e o urbanista Lúcio Costa (1902-1998), distinta do momento de 1959 quando a cidade ainda estava terminando sua construção e quando a fundadora do Vale do Amanhecer, Tia Neiva, começou a ter seus episódios psíquicos, os quais ela creditava a seres extraterrestres.

"Os meninos assistem televisão no quarto com a parede decorada por um céu de estrelas e um cometa que iria passar em 1986 (a mídia criou grande expectativa a respeito, mas quase ninguém viu o cometa). Crianças brincam e jogam futebol no chão de terra batida.", descrição poética de Joaquim Paiva em seu pequeno posfácio, sintetiza o cotidiano em um senso mais amplo, quando pensamos que a comunidade é rejeitada pelas diferentes culturas religiosas no Brasil, ainda que seu contingente esteja perto de um milhão de pessoas, a seguirem pelo caminho descrito da fundadora, o que insere a obra do fotógrafo na seara da antropologia visual, no sentido de compreendermos através de imagens tal sociedade, não de uma forma mais "exótica" como encontramos em inúmeras reportagens, mas no repertório humano de uma cultura vernacular,  exposta habilmente pelo autor.

Em seu parágrafo final, Paiva arremata no texto suas imagens: "Belos girassóis amarelos, a luz brilhante dos trópicos, as nuvens no céu a perder de vista. Nas margens do lago é possível ver estrelas durante o dia - artificiais. Do outro lado, os fiéis caminham com cruzes marrons bordadas nas costas. Flores de pano adornam as mulheres. Véus, grinaldas, lantejoulas cintilantes no Vale do Amanhecer." É uma visão de um fotógrafo  sensível pela profusão cultural popular que encontra, a vida que brota intensa e incessante e menos o documentarista analista, crítico, um pseudo-árbitro da sociedade, como tantos outros.
