More Fun Semblance Facts (Final Rose)

Here are more fun Semblance facts:

Elsa’s Semblance is partially autonomous and can move and respond faster than she is consciously aware of. This means that her Semblance can block attacks before Elsa even realises she is being attacked. This is why she has to develop strong mental filters (Lightning and Averia were quite helpful here), so her Semblance doesn’t do something crazy like impale Anna when Anna tries to ambush her for a surprise hug.

Claire can use her Semblance to clean objects. For example, she can clean jewellery and the like by destroying only the grime on it. She can also use her Semblance to carve objects and the like.

Yang’s Semblance has a mental effect that reduces her sensitivity to pain and encourages her to get more pissed off and combative when injured rather than worried and retreat. When she lacked experience it often led to her becoming a bit reckless. It has been speculated that it at least partially explains her risk-taking behaviour.

Anna doesn’t actually need to glomp onto people to ‘borrow’ their Semblances. She just does it because she thinks it’s funny, and she enjoys glomping onto the people she likes. Ironically, this means that the two people with the most experience of their siblings clinging onto them are Averia and Elsa.

Blake’s clones are all aware of each other, and they all know who the original is. Part of her Semblance includes a component that ensures the clones will obey orders and will not attempt to rebel or eliminate the original. However, they can still sass her if she permits them that freedom, and Blake will later use multiple clones with differing ‘temperaments’ to help examine her decision making from multiple angles. The rest of Team RWBY politely ignores how weird it is to see multiple Blakes arguing with each other.

Summary: Rex has heard the rumours surrounding Commander Cody and is willing to admit he's intimidated by the reputation. Virtual classrooms and virtual tutors are both widely available in the distant future. However, for social reasons, it is common for children living in isolated areas or areas without lots of other children to attend virtual classroom where they can interact with other people their own age.

The equipment required to do this is actually not all that expensive. Any decent holographic projector can be used, and the quantum-synchronisation equipment needed for everyone to communicate at the same time has been available for centuries. Indeed, most mining settlements and other remote installations have powerful communications equipment that can spare a bit of bandwidth for this sort of thing.

Rereading the guild codex: demonized by Annette Marie and trying my hand and crocheting Zylas.. (and hopefully the rest of the characters soon!)

Got zylas’ body just about done, with pipe cleaners for articulation. So excited to get back to crocheting!!! Had to take a break for a few months due to carpal tunnel 😅
