Since you said that you saw all the endings. What's your thoughts on each of them?
MAJOR SECURITY BREACH SPOILERS AHEAD:
Bad Ending:
This was the first ending I saw and I teared up when I saw Gregory running away, I believed Gregory would probably just run home to some unloving family, but nope, we saw that the kid is homeless, he sleeps in a cardboard box then we see Vanny's shadow, implying that despite his escape from the Pizzaplex: Vanny still killed him in the end.
This also implies a darker thing: that Vanny and Glitchtrap could intentionally be seeking out homeless kids to kill because no one would notice they are missing.

Driving into the Sunset:
Gregory driving is probably the funniest ending hands down, like Gregory stole a company van and he and his new awesome Dad are going on a cool road trip.
The fact Glamrock Freddy escaped with Gregory in this ending is a bonus. Seeing that Gregory has no one in the outside world who would care for him.

Fire Escape Ending:
Of course we had to have a fire ending, every third game seems to have one (FNAF 3, FNAF PS and now Security Breach).

This ending was the most confusing to me, Glamrock Freddy pushes Vanny off the roof to safe Gregory but he dies from the impact on the ground, then we see Gregory unmask Vanny, seeing that it's Vanessa, it seems like that Vanny and Vanessa are the same person now.
... but then we see Vanessa on the rooftop looking down sadly, implying that Vanny isn’t Vanessa but rather someone stole her identity .... or something more darker: that's her spirit on the rooftop, trapped in the Pizzaplex forever.

Disassemble Ending:

Yes that's the sound of me ugly sobbing, it's not a happy ending for anyone, Vanny orders the Security bots to tear Glamrock Freddy apart (I cried when I saw Glamrock Freddy's look of horror realizing he was outnumbered and unable to escape, and his scream also when he was torn apart), Gregory then grabs the remote and orders the Security bots to disassemble Vanny, thus killing her.
What gets me is the way that Glamrock Freddy says “You are my superstar” while ruffling Gregory's hair then he dies a few seconds broke my heart, Freddy genuinely cared for Gregory and Gregory clearly is devastated that Glamrock Freddy did not survive after everything.

Saving the Princess Ending:

This ending is nice but I like the Afton Boss battle ending better.
Also Freddy is just a head, please someone rebuild him.
The Final Boss Fight Ending:

I've heard a lot of people saying this is the true ending to Security Breach and I can see why. It's implied the place where they go is the Pizzeria Simulator place, meaning that the Pizzaplex was built over it, that wouldn’t be the first time in this series that something has been built over a pizzeria and there is a lot of evidence to support the fact that place COULD be the burned wreckage of the Pizzeria Simulator Restaurant.
To see the Funtime Freddy amalgamation grabs Burntrap and drag him away, revealing that it wasn’t after Gregory but rather trying to get William instead, then seeing Glamrock Freddy and Gregory run away from the burning location, later we see this:

This scene warms my heart. Unlike the other endings, it has an actual animated cutscene as opposed to a comic style that shows the ending. TBH I would love to try to paint this scene on a large canvas (I might do that in the future).

sb art + lore dump!
decided i'm gonna talk abt sb in my au!!!!
this doesn't rly contain major spoilers for th canon game, but i will still put it under a "keep reading" section just in case.
i hope you all enjoy it!!
first up, i made a poster for the sb arc of my au!!! i've made a few posters in the past but i don't think i posted any of them (and if anything i'll just be remaking them bc designs for characters have changed a bit. for example, since i changed william's design, chris, michael, mk, and vannie are all gonna be changed), so here's what my style of posters looks like!!!!

i personally just rly like making posters when i feel the urge to bc they're so much fun (even though this one was a bitch to do bc of so many designs and characters and colors. and i improvised the glamrocks bc i hadnt thought of official au designs for them at that point), and while there are mistakes here and there, imo it doesn't rly change the poster much at all, and i still love the overall result!!!
next up, here's a sketch of my finalized glamrock designs along w some hcs for them!!!

- the glamrocks are basically the funtimes 2.0. originally, the funtimes actually weren't murderbots and william added that stuff in after he discovered remnant, but things didnt work out to well bc of baby and the fact that he had to do everything manually. with newer technology of the glamrocks, everything could be programmed into them with no manual controls needed!!! - expanding on the murderglams; - roxy will usually be the one who picks a target and choose a good time to have them be killed. - chica will then recognize voice patterns and use them to lure the person (hopefully a child - in their case bc i ofc dont advocate for actual fucking child murder /srs) to an isolated area. - monty will then use his claws and teeth to quickly kill them and prepare the remnant for collection (it's a whole other process i'm not gonna get into). - freddy then takes the final step by collecting the remnant, and the body if needed, and delivering it to william + the cult. - the glamrocks are actually sentient and were built off of mk's blueprints to assure that. they all have prebuilt personalities though and are not built to be actual people like mk was. they only have the look and sentience of humans to "relate more to people" in a way. the do still have animal characteristics to keep the theme of animal mascots.
and one final thing before i get into general hcs: vanny the bunny is now glitchtrap the bunny!!!

with henry's forced assistance, he and william created an illusion that would allow william to wander free and do what he wants without being suspected. they created an illusion disk to help make the illusion in the first place because none of them wanted to spend months on making a fabric costume (also please note that illusion disks until this point did not exist in my au, so they are not a component in sl).
pros: allows william an adequate disguise and the disk itself can emmit high frequency soundwaves to help stun and shock victims near a 20 ft radius. cons: the disk will run out of power after a few hours, and it will need to be recharged. the soundwaves will become weaker and weaker as the power runs out and the illusion will begin to glitch out, hence the name glitchtrap (as well as vannie calling him that the first few weeks they shared a body)
now for some general hcs!
- gregory is not the main character (he does appear in this au though. just not in act 3). instead, our familiar yet unknown protagonist, sammy, will be the main character along with charley, hope, and her bf gavin (hehe i finally got something for him xddd) - each of the glamrocks are semi controlled by a different cult member, with william overseeing all of them; vannie takes freddy, john takes chica, alex takes monty, and ryan takes roxy - the arc begins with the modern misfits (which is what i decided to call the group of sammy, char, hope, & gavin) visiting the new fazbear location (the pizzaplex) just for shits and giggles. they actually end up liking the place and fall asleep in a plushie storage room. they then wake up and realize that "oh shit we're stuck in the building now. how tf do we get out". they eventually find themselves all being hunted by the glamrocks as basically free remnant (except for sammy because ooo he's importaaant) - unfortunately, the arc ends with sammy being taken by the cult and char gets shot in the arm. annabeth (security girl) takes the remaining members of the misfits and takes them home (she can't really do anything about it because she kinda works for the cult by force now)
i do have a few more hcs, but i feel like i need to flesh them out more before i talk abt them. plus this post is already p long, so that's all for now!!! i hope you guys like these, and stay tuned for more hcs and art hopefully soon!

After the wonderful weekend, the college reopens. Skylar and Diana are sitting together in the cafeteria sipping their coffees. Skylar notices the changed mood of Diana.
“You seem extra happy”
“I am.. “ Diana said smiling.
“Care to elaborate..?”
“I moved in with John..”
“WHAT?? For REAL???”
“Yes.”
“Havent you known him for like only a week?”
“Yes”
“So… that’s fast even by my standards”
“The situation we have is different.”
“Details please”
“I cannot tell much”
“all right.. So how is he in bed”
“SKY!!!”
“What? It’s a perfectly reasonable question”
“We haven’t done IT yet”
“WHATTT?? What do you do then?”
“We did…. Have done……..other stuff” Diana said with reddened cheeks, hiding behind her coffee.
“…and…?”
“Skylar, not a college appropriate topic of discussion”
“No ones around”
“I am not talking about this here.”
“Okay lets go to the club today. Its been two weeks, we haven’t been there”
“You know what, yes. Its been a while. Lets go to the club”
“Will you sing?”
“I am not doing that again, sky!!”
“Oh come on, you have such a wonderful voice”
“Lets See. See you after class here?”
“Done!” Skylar and Diana part ways to their respective classes.
John, in his house is sitting with Dog. He has made some calls about Borgov. New information has merged and John is not happy about it. He will need to go again, but this time he is more confident. He has trained Diana over the past week in self-defense, come combat skills. He will also teach her to fire a gun, not a big one, a pocket one. He has some models in mind, like Bond Arms Backup, Ruger LC9 or Smith & Wesson Bodyguard. Diana will never have to worry or look over her shoulder again. As he gently rubs Dog’s back his phone chimes. It’s a message from Diana.
“Hey John, don’t come to pick me up today”
John furrows his brows and messages back.
“Why? Is everything okay Diana?”
Yeah, everything’s fine.Just going out to the Nightimes Funtimes with my girls”
“When will you be back?”
“I am not sure. 😉”
“I will come to pick you up at the club, just call me.”
“Stop worrying so much John, I am not a baby”
“You are my baby, love”
“John, I promise I will be safe. I’ll send you pics”
“Love you”
“Love you too John <3 <3”
John turns to dog and speaks. Looks like Persephone is not coming soon tonight boy, wanna come with me to bind some books, Dog barks. John realizes how his life has changed in a span of a couple of weeks. Before, he was not sure of living at all, now he had started to imagine his life with a woman. She was not just any woman, she was tremendously talented, well-read, and was not afraid to call on John for his wrongdoings. He liked her assertion and honesty and the fact that she was not even in the slightest bit afraid of his work. She had accepted his love with open arms and heart and that made John feel humane, a feeling that decades of being an assassin and killing people had taken away from him. He had a couple of hours to go to the club and pick her up. He also had to finish the book binding of the book tonight. Only little work was left, then the glue and binding would take a few days to dry. Diana’s birthday was in two weeks and he wanted to gift it to her. He almost felt jealous of her being out with her friends. He wanted nothing more than to keep her to himself without any interference, but he knows that Diana is an independent woman and he would not like to change that. John also had got her something special. He was not sure but he had known that women loved jewelry. He had got Diana a two carat pink diamond stud in a white gold chain. The rare pink diamond was for the unique and rare woman that Diana was.
John also opened a smaller velvet box, and held it open. He hazed at the five carat princess cut diamond that he had planned to give her when the time was right. He vowed, it will be soon. With that, John kept the two boxes in the top drawer of his work table . He switched on the lamp and began to put final touches on the book.
“To Diana beating us all in the game of love” A drunk Skylar yells on the club table.
“Hear Hear!!!” joined Jennifer and Anna.
“Good God!”
“Come on Diana, live a little”
“She is drunk on looooooove” stutters Anna
“We should send John a video”
“No that’s a bad idea”
“Lets make him jealous!!!
“NO! please”
“oh no one is asking you D”
John is working in his basement on Diana’s book. He is lowly humming one of the Schumann’s symphonies. He is lost n work when his phone chimes again, its from Diana. From the notification of it, it appears it’s a video. John plays it and to his restlessness its Skylar, sending a video from her phone. There are two other girls, whom John does not recognize but they were there when John had first heard Diana sing. The video goes on to see a very drunk Skylar speaking.
“Hey Mr. Wick, guess whooooo…its meeee… Sky!!! We have kidnapped your guuuurl frind … and if you don’t come, we will send her to…….that guy” Skylar turns the phone camera towards a random guy at the bar. “……that’s where you also met her……didn’t ya!!! Mr wick!!! Skylar giggles” The video ends.
John first smiles. Diana’s friends are nice and good. She needs this. The last few weeks must have been exhausting, the attack, the sudden change in living conditions. But then it strikes John, he didn’t see Diana in the video, he sees it a few times. Wait, was she going to the man at the bar? John’s posture changes. Diana loves him, she isn’t going to flirt with a random man just like that. Will She? But that man is normal. He can give Diana a normal life. And just like that John is over powered by some feeling of jealousy over an imaginary man. He picks up his keys and goes off to the club.
Diana comes back from the washroom and sees Skylar and her other friends laughing and giggling. She sits down with them. It feels right to let go some times.
“Sing something for us Diana”
“Oh my God! NO”
“Yeah, you have such a great voice”
“No No No…”
“Oh come on Di, its such a dull night, its all Night, street, lamp, drugstore, A dull and meaningless light. Sing for us.”
“What do I Sing?”
Skylar suddenly notices, that John is standing on the entryway, he is probably looking for Diana and she knows if Diana sees him, she wont sing. SO immediately she says.
“Something Bob Dylan”
Diana takes a long sip of her whiskey and then goes up on the stage. “I hate you all” She murmurs.
John has reached the club. He also feels stupid coming here like this. But then his possessive and jealous side overtook his thinking, when it comes to Diana, it happens most often. So he decided he will sit in the corner, without disturbing the girls and drink. When Diana calls he will show up to pick her up. He wont embarrass her in front of her girl friends. When he entered, he looks around, and he sees Diana walking up on the stage. He smiles, the things that started it all. Her voice. Will she sing the same song? Maybe not, maybe, John cannot resist. He is almost thankful he came.
Diana takes the stage. And she sings.
The song (Please Listen, its awesome)
Diana finishes the song. The people are mesmerized. Diana feels shy, she wanted to sing blowin’ in the wind and then she thought of John and the song just came out. When she looks up from the stage, she sees John. Pupils Dilated, absolutely predatory gaze, looking taller and broader than he usually is, John was walking with some certainty towards her. Before she could say something, John picks her up from the stage, bridal style, and walks out, without caring who is looking.
John cannot control now. So sexy, so tempting, that sultry voice, that song, those words. She was calling him. It was for him that she sang. But this time, John is not going to let her vanish after the song. Of all the things, why did she have to sing this song. Then the people, the people at the club, they all were looking at her. She is mine stop looking at her he thought. At that instant, John wanted to kill each and everyone in the club. He wont, Diana is his and he will make sure that she knows it too. So without any inhibition, he walks towards the stage, without any thought, he picks her up and takes her out of the club. He doesn’t care of her friends are looking. Yeah, Diana is his. Diana is totally wrecked in embarrassment, she almost shrieks
“John!! What…What are you doing?”
No answer. John keeps walking.
“People are looking, put me down”
No answer. They have reached his car.
“JOHN!!!”
No answer. John bends his knee and opens the door of the car without putting Diana down. He then puts her on the car seat and secures the seat belt. He closes the car door almost runs to the other side and before Diana can even guess, he drives off in full speed.
“JOHN!!! What the HELL!!!
John turns his face slightly. He doesn’t say anything but his gaze leaves Diana in shivers and creates a wet pool between her legs. She almost whispers now,
“John, what are you doing?”
“I’ll make you my baby tonight, love”
Diana gasps.

Next night at Smokey’s Pizzeria
(In the Toy’s showroom. Everyone is in there and in human form)
Blade/Sly/Anubis/Bandit: (walk in)
Blade: (is carrying the briefcase) Hey.
Cutie: Hello.
Smokey: (standing beside Cutie) Hey, guys.
(everyone says hi to them)
Blade: (sets the briefcase down on a table)
Toy Smokey: Cutie Baby should be here soon.
Oreo: (looking out the window) Y’all, they’re here now.
(everyone else looks out the window to see Rusty’s truck parked in the parking lot. Cutie Baby, Lil Baby, Tiny Baby, Teeny Baby, Bitty Baby, Fern, Dakota, Funtime Smokey, Lil Cutie, Funtime Star, Unit, Ray, Peanut, Pea, Nut, Nutty, Peanut Jr., and Rusty get out of the truck and walk up to the door)
Oreo: (lets them in) Howdy, y’all.
Cutie Baby: Hey, Oreo. (to everyone else) Hey, everyone!
(everyone greets each other)
Cutie Baby: Wow… you guys look amazing!
Star: Thank you.
Blade: (opens the briefcase) These potions here are what made us turn human.
Fern: How do we turn back into animatronics?
Anubis: Just imagine yourself as an animatronic.
Unit: How am I going to drink this?
Sly: Umm… maybe we could splash some on your screen.
Lil Cutie: Is it nasty?
Bandit: It doesn’t have a taste.
Cutie Baby: Where did you guys get it?
All (except Cutie Baby’s group): Uhhhhh…
Blade: (lying) We got it from a drug store.
Cutie Baby: What’s the name of the drug store?
Blade: Does it really matter what the drug store is called?
Cutie Baby: I guess not.
Blade: (passes out the potions to them) Go ahead and drink.
(They all drink a potion. Sly splashes the potion on Unit’s screen)
Cutie Baby: (is now human. She has white skin- like her suit- brown hair that’s styled into a high ponytail, a short-sleeved brown t-shirt, knee-high khaki shorts, brown and white sneakers, and a tail.)
Lil Baby: (is now human. She is now the size of a small child. She looks just like Cutie Baby except for her purple cheeks and her hair is styled into a single braid down her back.)
Tiny Baby: (is now human. She is also the size of a small child. She looks just like Cutie Baby except for her pink cheeks and her hair has been styled into two high pigtails.)
Bitty Baby: (is now human. She is also the size of a small child. She looks just like Cutie Baby only her hair is styled into a low ponytail.)
Teeny Baby: (is now human. She is also the size of a small child. She looks exactly like Cutie Baby except her cheeks are blue and her hair is styled into two low pigtails.)
Fern: (is now human. She has light brown skin- Like her suit and long brown hair. She is wearing a white shirt with a light brown leather jacket, brown skinny jeans, brown and white tennisshoes, and a tail.)

Lil Cutie: (is now human. She has her own legs and feet now. She is as tall as Funtime Star. She has light brown skin- like her suit- she has brown hair that is styled into a choppy cut with side bangs, her skirt- yes, it also has a top- no shoes, and a tail)
Funtime Star: (is now human. She has light brown suit- like her suit- brown hair that is styled into a trendy short layered cut/bob, her bikini-like outfit, light pink high heels, and a tail. She has a big butt and is thicc in the chest area as well.)
Peanut: (is now human. He has short, blonde hair, a sand colored sweater, long blue jeans, white shoes, and a tail)
Ray: (he is now human. He has long, dark brown hair, white skin- like his skin- a dark brown long sleeved shirt and dark blue jeans with black shoes and a tail and cat ears. He still has his cat eyes.)
Pea/Nut/Peanut Jr./Nutty: (look like Peanut only their hair is a little longer and they are the size of small children)
Unit: (is now human. She has peach skin, a short, silver bob, silver eyes, silver lips, a silver suit and pants, and dark gray dress shoes. She also has silver eyebrows.)
Rusty: (is now human. He has really light brown skin and hair, a red hoodie, black pants, and black shoes and a tail.)
Cutie Baby: (looks at everyone else) Oh. My. God. You guys look fantastic!
Lil Cutie: (looking at her legs and feet) Yay! I have feet! (tries to walk, but is very clumsy and almost falls) Whoa!
Funtime Smokey: (steadies her with his right hand) We’re gonna have to teach you how to walk.
Oreo: Y’all can go look at yourselves in the bathroom mirrors.
Cutie Baby: Ooh! Yes, let’s do that!
Funtime Star: I’d love to!
(They go into the bathrooms. Girls bathroom)
Funtime Star: (looking in a mirror. She looks at how big her butt is and is shocked. She puts both hands on her hips and then brings them in front of her. The distance between her hands is wide) I’m this thicc? Wow, Funtime Smokey is right about me having a big booty.
Cutie Baby: (looking in the mirror) I look great!
Lil Cutie: (holding onto Cutie Baby for balance. She’s playing with her hair) It’s so exciting having feet! I finally can go places without having to be on Funtime Smokey’s hand or crawling!
Fern: I really like this jacket. (looks at Dakota) Hey, you look adorable!
Dakota: Oh, uh, thanks, Fern. You look great too.
Lil Cutie/Tiny Baby/Teeny Baby/ Bitty Baby: (standing on their tiptoes to look in the mirror)
Lil Cutie: I look waaayyy better than all of you.
Bitty Baby: No, I do!
Tiny Baby: No, you’re ugly af. I look better than each of you.
Teeny Baby: No, I look the best!
Cutie Baby: Girls, you all look identical and besides, we all know I loom better than the four of you.
Bitty Baby: I look just like you, Cutie Baby!
Cutie Baby: Well then, you’re blessed.
Unit: That’s a lie. You’re cursed.

Funtime Smokey: (checking himself out in the mirror) Wow. I never thought I would ever look this handsome.
Ray: (looking in the mirror) I wonder what Cutie Baby thinks about my looks.
Peanut: I think you look great.
Ray: Thanks, mate. You look great too.
Peanut: (slightly blushing) Oh, thank you, Ray.
Ray: You’re welcome, Peanut.
Rusty: I think you all look amazing.
Funtime Smokey: Really? Thanks.
Ray: I’m going back out to talk to everyone. Are you guys coming or do you want to stay in here a bit longer?
Rusty: We’ll come with you.
Ray: Alrighty.
(they walk out of the bathroom. Everyone else is back in the showroom already)
Cutie Baby: I wish we could stay longer, but we have kids coming again tomorrow.
Toy Smokey: Yeah. So do we.
Blade: We better get going too. We have school tomorrow.
(they all say goodbye to each other)
Sly: (kisses Toy Smokey on the cheek) Bye. I love you.
Toy Smokey: (smiles) I love you too, kitten.
Sly: (smiles)
Blade/Sly/Anubis/Bandit: (leave)
(Cutie Baby and her friends leave as well)
Sunday: (walks in. in human form) Hey guys. (to Star) Are you and Rocky ready to go back home?
Star: Yes. Come on Rocky. We’re going home. Wow, it still feels so weird calling another place home.
Rocky: Can we play fetch when we get home?
Star: No. It’s getting pretty late.
Rocky: Ok.
Sunday: Bye guys.
Smokey: Bye.
Star: See you all tomorrow.

FINALLY! I finally got them all done!
Hoo boy, did this take a little while...
Okay, so, these are the rest of the kids that William is responsible for the deaths of (aside from his own, that is, who I’ve already drawn full-body pics of).
Now then. First pic, from left to right: Cassidy Afton (killed when Will was just a kid, but included here for completeness), Charlotte Emily, Arthur Schmidt, Javier Terrero, and Lachlan Greene.
Second pic, from left to right: Elijah Smith, Russell Carter, Alexander Welch, Harper Sullivan, Melissa Henderson, and Simon Berry.
In order, the animatronics they’re connected to are... Golden Freddy, Marionette, Balloon Boy, Shadow Bonnie, Funtime Freddy, Pigpatch (both Eli and Russell), Nedd Bear, Mr Hippo, Happy Frog, and Orville Elephant.
I may rework any of my victims’ designs, but I’m happy with them for the time being (and stoked to have them actually done~)
I will be doing some more victim designs, as there’s still some left that I could do in this same basic style, but... those are adults (or close enough to) and the template I made for these is meant for child or young teen...

Eighties In Music
JioSaavn is all of your music. Folks want to know not each single tune needs to be lyrical, that people take heed to music for various purposes. Not everyone is going to take heed to a music to get over a breakup, not everyone will take heed to a tune just to bounce. The range is too much, and now that modern rap is generally what people take heed to now, I do not really feel as if rock music is irrelevant. My favourite genre of music is alternative rock and reggae. Any such music is great because I can hearken to it regardless of the place I'm or how I feel. It can be calming and uplifting all on the same time. My favourite reggae artist is Matisyahu and my favourite alternative rock band is Phoenix.

The umbrella time period 'rock' is used to explain a big number of musical types. A happy ending to a football horror story.
Well thats the Championship season 2020-21 done for us and for most North End fans I might venture to suggest it has not come a moment too soon. The pain of falling away from a play off place the season before was still fresh in the minds of North End fans as a July finish to the previous season saw only a six week break before League action started again. It`s well documented what happened in the first quarter of the season - crap at home with some headline results away from home. However as the late Summer turned into Autumn things really didn`t get a lot better although we did put one or two wins together at home but only at the expense of some poor results away. Brighton knocked us out of the League Cup in round 3 after we had thrashed Mansfield at home in round one and won away at Derby in round two. 
Our form was very inconsistent and Alex Neil was struggling desperately to find a winning formula but it was clear to all that the magic had gone and the team were in decline. The 3-0 defeat at home to Blackburn would undoubtedly have seen the end of Neil if there had been crowds inside Deepdale but there weren`t and he ploughed on. A shocker of a defeat at Wycombe in the third round of the Cup was compounded when Neil came out and said we had just seen why some of the players in his much changed team were not getting many games for the first team. It was shocking man management in my opinion and it was something from which he never recovered. 
The inevitable happened, I suppose when Pearson left for Bournemouth and Ben Davies got a headline move to Anfield although he hasn`t trouble the statisticians much to date. Fisher was sold to Middlesbrough in a strange sort of move as North End brought in Seven replacements on loan eventually giving Cunningham and Evans contracts. The other five looked either inexperienced or short of match practice but some of them were to play a big part later on. February turned into March as the pressure grew and a defeat at Middlesbrough when down to 10 men left a shit or bust home game against Luton Town in the middle of March. It was bust for Alex Neil with a 1-0 defeat and his inevitable departure 24 hours later.
Little did we know at the time but a new unassuming hero was about to emerge from the shadows as Frankie McAvoy (Alex Neil`s assistant) was offered, and accepted, the role of interim head coach for the remaining eight games. When Neil was sacked North End had 44 points from 38 games and the general consensus was that 52 would be more than enough and it left McAvoy with the task of getting 8 points from eight games. It was a tough start with Norwich at home on Good Friday and then a trip to Swansea on Easter Monday. Most had written these games off and were hoping to get something from the Brentford game the following Saturday. 1st, 5th and 3rd in your first three games looked damned tough but when a Brad Potts deflected shot in added time nicked a point at home to Norwich on Good Friday there, finally was hope. Little did we know at the time that we didn't actually need any points from the final eight games as Wycombe finished third bottom with 43, astonishing. The draw against Norwich put some life back into the squad and another added time goal at Swansea courtesy of the Swansea Captain, Grimes, saw North End jubilant. However we came down to Earth with a real bump the following Saturday as Brentford went Nap with North End chasing the game two down. It was a harsh lesson for Frankie but one he took on board and four wins and a draw from the last five games saw North End finish the season with an incredible 61 points. McAvoy had taken seventeen points from his eight games in charge which is promotion form in anybody`s book.
Just two days after the final game at Forest, Frankie was offered the job and duly accepted with Paul Gallagher retiring from playing to take up a full time roll coaching with the first team. Add to this the evergreen Steve Thomson, now working under his third manager at Deepdale, and you have a good blend of youth and experience in the management team and no doubt Gally will be bringing some new ideas to the party. Nobody can predict what lies ahead and North End were sad to see the five loanees go back at the end of the season. Iversen had been outstanding, Van Den Berg and, latterly, Liam Lindsay had been very good. Jayson Molumby and Anthony Gordon had played their part over the season but didn't get much of a look in with McAvoy. I don`t think it was because he didn`t want to play them but I think he had just found a formation (3-4-1-2) and a group of players who fit in well with that particular style. He didn`t change it much when he was winning and fair play to him for that as it makes his record to date look outstanding in the Championship. 
There is no doubt that the club will need to bring players in and I`m not exaggerating when I think it could be as many as ten although probably half of those will be loan players. Whatever happens Funtime Frankie has cheered us up, finally, after 12 months or futile unimaginative football under the previous incumbent. This must also be a massive opportunity for the club to get its act right off the field with a Fan-zone, a much enhanced Match day experience and some imaginative ticket pricing to encourage the fans back to Deepdale. No doubt some would say, and I am one of them, that an U23 or reserve side would do us no harm at all and actually help players reach the first team sooner. We say this every season and it falls on deaf ears but after Covid I honestly think that the club must stop taking for granted its 8000+ season ticket holders as this pandemic may have changed the football landscape for good.
And finally this week:- the Football world mourns the loss of a young 9 year old boy, Jordan Banks, struck by lightning as he watched his friends training at the Spirit of Youth Junior Football Club at South Shore in Blackpool. My thoughts and prayers are with this young mans family and friends and this stark, million to one chance event just brings home how fickle life is. 
Stay safe, God Bless and God willing we will all be back again on the 7th of August as battle recommences for North End and our 61st attempt to get back to the Big Time.

For years I have been working/gaming on a standard sized office chair (see image below), then I went to Pax East and saw an array of chairs from a variety of manufacturers for office/gaming use. Only 2 specific models stood out to me due to its style, size, features and comfort. I was very happy when 1 of those 2 sent one our way for review:
The first chair ever to come our way to the CCHQ for review is from E-Win Racing this one is part of the E-Win Racing Champion Series Gaming Chairs, so I put this one together and gave it a proper try-out in front of my PC for both CC/UCPN work and day job! Check out the box opening below:

The first thing to take note of is how great looking the chair looks once it is put together (Should take no more than 15 minutes VERY easy!)! I’ve see a few other gaming chairs come with no extra features like a neck/head pillow and lumbar support, this one does! The pillows, like the chair itself, are wrapped in a soft leather case, making it soft to the touch and very comfy.
The back itself is firm and well cushioned and provides wonderful back support in conjunction with the lumbar support pillow and head/neck pillow. The chair allows for a 58 to 155 degree adjustment sitting on top of a Class 4 gas lift piston (holds up to 330 lbs)! If you’re one of those people who basically lives in the chair whether gaming or working, this even works well for a temporary nap-time solution! I did a 12 hour shift on this bad boy and I can attest that it was uber comfortable!
The seat is fantastically cushioned and provides a lot of support for your glutes as the seat is made of a high density memory foam that rests upon a sturdy steel frame. The armrests have four-dimensional adjustments to them, you can move them forward or back, twist the arms to the sides, raise and lower them, and push them in or out for the width. The last one does require an Allen wrench to make it work right, which it does come with.
The bottom of the chair has your 2 levers to adjust the chair how you see fit. The first being the main piston to raise and lower the chair on your right and the second also on the right next to your backside to adjust the recline of the back piece. You also have a tilt-lock and tilt-control mechanism under the chair. The wheels are all plastic attached to a 5-star Wide Aluminum Base, making it roll on carpet, tile, and linoleum with great ease.
As you’ve seen above, the chair does have a lumbar pillow, attached by pushing two of the expanding straps through the bottom then clipping them together by sending the other two through the holes at the top. I enjoy the design because it works fine and you can definitely feel the support. Finally, the color of the chair reviewed is labeled as green, you can snag it in a variety of colors.

Hey! I’m just curious on what you think, but how would you score the FNAF games? They can be scored on designs, gameplay, whatever you want!
Okay so preface - I can’t play horror games, they set off my anxiety real bad. I can, however, watch other people play horror games, and while I try to keep myself away from the jumpscares and such, I at least try to watch them XD
When it comes to fnaf, I’m a lorekeeper. I watch game theory and piece together clues as and when I can from the gameplay I’ve watched. I read the extra material, as much as people moan about the fnaf books, and I’m genuinely interested in the story element over everything.
Now that’s been said, onwards! To the game scores!
Fnaf1: 4/5Reasoning: Fnaf1 started it all. Not only did it pave the way for a whole new style of horror game, it sparked so much intrigue in people. It had just the right amount of story to hook us, but not enough to answer all our questions. There are still things in it that don’t make sense! We don’t have an answer to what the bloody hell happened during that final phonecall, we don’t have definitive answers to what happened to Phoneguy (I mean he was stuffed, but does that mean his remnant attached to the suit he was stuffed in? Lots of people thought he was Golden Freddy, which makes a lot of sense, but 5 kids were killed at the restaurant, not four.) The sheer volume of information the first game carried sparked so much debate on forums, it’s definitely up there are one of my favourites.
Fnaf2: 5/5Reasoning: My actual favourite fnaf game. Absolute madness. The death mini games taught us so much about the series, introduced the importance of the puppet and her hand in reviving the children, the continued allusion to the killer still being active - The Reveal of Purple Guy, William Afton before his name was revealed to us. This game was so jam-packed with lore, it was great! The mini games gave us more answers, and more questions - which was always the key to this franchise as a whole.
Fnaf3: 3/5Now this is entirely based on lore rating, and this game had those mini games that lead to the happiest day and the releasing of the children’s spirits. Very important, yes, but I feel the rest of it was… Lacking. We knew that William was haunting Springtrap, but we still had no information on remnant and why he was still out for blood. The happiest day was the best part of the game, for me, and seeing those masks without the lights on in the end was a powerful moment personally. I loved the lore because I wanted answers for the children; I wanted to know if they’d get peace in the end, and they did, which was the most important thing. This game had lots of key lore because more games built on it, but by itself? It wasn’t amazing.
Fnaf4: 2.5/5Now, I don’t want to resent fnaf 4, but I almost do. It did give us a lot of information, about the crying child and timelines and such, but at the same time, lots of people tried to use it to convince themselves William deserved better. That he was spurred onto his experiments with remnant because his son was part of a tragic accident and he wanted to save him. If you know anything about my stance on William Springfuck Afton, you know I am not a fan of him being given any sympathy because he built the animatronics to kill already. William was a serial killer, and his youngest son knew. So, while this game has a lot of lore (and also tried to pass us off with the dream/coma theory, nice try Scott but absolutely not), it is not standout on it’s own AGAIN, because it requires further games to explain itself. The beauty of fnaf1 & 2 was that the story itself made sense without further games, but would benefit from further games. Without the inclusion of Sister Location and fnaf6, the lore we see in fnaf3 & 4 is not complete.
Sister Location: 4/5Now we’re introduced to Micheal Afton, and finally, the pieces start to fall into place. Mike Exotic Butters Afton, who accidentally got his brother killed, lost his sister (and mother, because she’s nowhere to be found in these games) before that and finally his father to the springlock suits in fnaf2, is beginning to uncover his father’s horrible past. It is revealed in this game that the Sister Location bunker is located underneath the fnaf4 house - the Afton family’s home - and that William had been spying on his family when working down there. It is also revealed that Baby killed William’s daughter, too, via more 8-bit mini games that are a staple of the series by this game. After the tragic end where Mikey gets tricked by the being ‘enard’ (all the funtime animatronics combined) and scooped, then used as a skin suit for them to walk around in, we are shown that they abandon ship yet Micheal lives. This is the canon ending. Micheal is alive! Despite having no internal organs. We do not discover until fnaf6 that this is the power of remnant, what William was messing around with in that underground bunker - but this game gives us just enough lore to piece together who the kid in the house is, who Micheal is (”Father, it’s me, Micheal. I’m going to come find you” and suddenly springfuck) and gives us plenty of space to expand. I mean, there were still debates on whether William was the purple guy or his son was - but one was actually just a shadowy figure (can’t use black for shadows in an 8bit game) and the other was an actual lovely rotten purple (poor ol’ casual bongos Mikey).Fnaf6: 5/5Reasoning: This game gave us so much lore, it’s genuinely amazing. Finally, we see Henry - or rather, hear him - and he tells us exactly how it is. The lore is intensive, it covers the creation of Mangle of all things, it covers the Afton family finally being put to rest - yes, all of them, including beloved Micheal who I have developed such a soft spot for, and his springfuck father, who finally goes to hell for REAL this time - and we’re given the tragic identity of the puppet, which explains so much about the whole series. This game finally tells us about Remnant, about the purpose of the funtime animatronics and William’s obsessive desire to experiment with children’s souls and binding them to animatronics. It gives us a good ending, finally, to the mess of fnaf - it kills off the big bad guy, it puts the rest to peace and finally, it gives us an insight into a little bit of the possible future of fnaf. The mysteries aren’t entirely solved. The minigames leave us with some clues as to where the series may head next, which is exactly what I’d expect from the supposed ‘final’ fnaf game, and honestly everything was tied up so neatly and in a package that was fun and also terrifying, it was just? Excellent. Good on you, Scott. Also, we may be getting an ultimate golden freddy mode on it, which I just want to watch youtubers suffer with because there’s nothing better then having someone else suffer for your entertainment - especially when it comes to fnaf.
So this was my personal take - I missed out on a hefty amount of details, as well as Fnaf world, mostly because Scott doesn’t want to include fnaf world with the rest of the fnaf games. He felt it was sloppy and rushed and hated how it retconned the lore heavily and all of that. On that note though, I enjoyed fnaf world because I love rpgs and god damn I want a family of chicas that do nothing but kick ass so help me god.

Nier Automata - Genius and Madness

the works of Yoko Taro are something that have eluded me for most of my life, and that I have given very little attention to. Probably for good reasons because from the outside, the gameplay of his games range from Mediocre to Average at best and I consider myself a very "gameplay First" person. Some of my Freinds would rave about Drakengard and how weird it is but that didnt quite convince me to look into them much further. However, one Fateful Day a little game called "Nier Automata" was announced, a sequel to Yoko Taros Xbox 360/PS3 game Nier with a little line of Text that would change things in an instant

now friends of mine will know that, PlatinumGames is one of my alltime favourite Game Devs for their Crazy High skill Character Action Beat em up titles, containing Larger than Life characters and great and tight Gameplay that owes their roots in the Arcade games of old, which is something I have a appreciation for.
So, with a combination like this I finally decided to take on this series, by means of watching Youtube essays about it because goddamn, the gameplay in these games can get rather mind numbing sadly but honestly? Yoko Taro mighta earned himself now a nice cushy place as one of my favourite Directors, right next to  Hideki Kamiya and Hideo Kojima themselves.

But there is one thing I realised from watching these Essays and actually playing one of them it is one thing to watch a guy sum this series up for you, its a whole different thing to watch the Insanity for yourself
because the works of Yoko Taro arent stories about Heroic Knights slaying Demons and Evil Dragons, or Loving Fathers/older Brothers trying to survive the Fall of Humanity with their Daughters/Little Sisters
they are stories about Love, Hate, War, the meaninglessness of the Universe and the Hope growing from it, what it means to be Human, and what it means to lose all reason and go complete and genuinely Mad
(there will be spoilers, so be warned if you wish to expirience these games yourself!)
so originally, this was gonna be a brief recap of Drakengard and Nier, but then I realised I couldnt do these games justice so I just link this and this recap of these games that should give you a good idea what these games are about but to keep it brief
Drakengard is essentially to RPGs what Evangelion was to Mecha Anime, and thats a fairly approviate comparsion when you just look at, this

its also notable for how it handles its different endings, usually referred to as Ending A, Ending B etc, Ending E of the first Drakengard game was a Joke ending that nontheless became the basis for the setting of Nier, a ruined Planet Earth set hundreds of years after the Fall of Humanity about a Father (in the Western Releases) or a Older Brother (Japanese release) having to fend for himself and his Daughter/Younger Sister in a world under constant threat of creatures known as Heartless Shades
both these games are interesting, because their gameplay is nothing special, in the case of Drakengard its outright terrible,they got mediocre reviews and poor sales and yet these games have a dedicated Cult following and  tons of Novels, Audio Dramas, Manga and even Stage Plays that expand the Universes of these games and its lore
and thats for a simple reason: these games may have mediocre gameplay but, their Stories, their Characters, their Art Direction is actually of fairly high quality featuring intriguing Characters and worldbuilding that makes you invested in them regardless I mean, theres a entire exchange in Nier thats entireley between two Magical Talking Books for cryin out loud, and its one of the best parts of the game!
however, these games have thus far had a life as just that, Cult Classics, that didnt manage to garner a mainstream audience due to its aforementioned quirks, the Gameplay just could never stand up to the well written stories of these games
this is where PlatinumGames comes into play

now, the gameplay of Automata I honestly felt like was more on par with what Revengeance offered: there is stuff you can do with it but all in all its below the likes of Bayonetta and Devil May Cry 3 but thats not to say its poor, of course not, it doesnt encourage you to try anything other than just Mash about, but thats Fine, theres also Chips that your characters can even equip Chips that enhance their abilities and giv e them new ones such as a Bayonetta style Parry and Witch time or give them Heals upon Killing the enemy and while the actual enviroments can be a bit of a chore to go through (until you get Fast Travel), it still felt good to Parkour your way through them, nice snappy and smooth which gives me hopes they take a cue or two from this game for Bayonetta 3 in that regard at least
another thing I loved is the Soundtrack itself. Now I dont consider myself a musical person, however I can tell when a Song is used perfectly, and in Automata? Every Song is used to actual perfection. Music to me can be the deciding factor wether a Area or Scene in a Game or Movie is Garbage, Forgettable or Legendary, and for Automata, every song makes each area fall niceley into the latter fortunatly. One Standout track for me is Birth of a Wish (Become as Gods) a retake of an earlier song that adds in additional Chorus, and the Theme for Pascals village which is a cute Melody involving Children singing.

now onto the game itself, Route A puts you in the sexy and Lucious Thigh High boots of YoRHa Unit 2B, whereas Route B puts you in the cute Boy shorts of her Partner and mostly Good Boy YoRHa Unit 9S both tasked with ridding the world of Machine Lifeforms and making Earth inhabitable for the Humans stuck on the Moon again Both Routes play out roughly the same, 2B plays like a Standard Character Action Heroine with Lights and Heavies and such, whereas 9S is mainly focused around his ability to hack enemies and engage into brief SHMUP segments.
of the two I felt like 2B was a little more fun to play all in all, the Hacking was fine but also felt a teeny bit like a pace breaker but not too much, at least until late in Route B the game throws curvebals and unique hacking segments into the mix
a thing Yoko Taro games have been very good at showing, is showing the process of a Person losing their mental stability and throwing it all away to become a one track minded Mad Man and I find that interesting.
Drakengard had a good example when the Character Inuart completley loses it and becomes obsessed with bringing back his Dead Love interest, causing here to turn into the monster posted above. Automata meanwhile, shows this also but with Machines, being that shouldnt even go mad in the first place but become Insane with concepts like Revenge, Fear or other. Now I am not a Psychology Major or anything but I cant help but feel "this is Intriguing", not sure if thats a bad thing or anything but thats how it is.
now, Route C is where officialy the PlatinumGame ends and the Yoko Taro game begins, in that things become utterly, utterly Bleak. Not to say it was happy funtime before, many of the sidequests end on a very sour or outright terrible note, but here? Shits gon Bad!

YoRHa falls, everyone on the Protagonists homebase dies or becomes infected with a Virus that makes them go insane, 2B dies and 9S is severeley wounded and has his mental state utterly ruined by seeing 2B, his Love interest, die. from this Point onward, you play as Either A2, a former YoRHa gone Rogue and 9S as he tries to kill every last Machine Lifeform, and as hes utterly loses his mind. Focusing entireley on his one Goal so that maybe, he can find Death and be with 2B in the Afterlife.
this is where the game really became interesting to me. Gradually 9S goes from this sweet pure boy to a Violent Mess that only wants to Kill and Kill and Kill, Over and Over, its a Interesting Development for such a Character I feel. A2 meanwhile, while still a Great Character and a Blast to play, I felt like was severeley underutilized, getting very little playtime compared to 2B and 9S, with most of her greatest character Development limited to a Japan only Stage play that got a short text recap on a terminal. and it just goes from there and it keeps going, plot twists happen, reveals happen, callbacks to the first Nier and Drakengard 1 happen, its just this huge Mountain of themes and stuff to uncover and analyse. references to old Philosophers and the Concept of Nihilism itself ebing explored, little details that popped up in the early game and now have much greater meaning, its....actually incredible?
I dont think I ever played a game that had so much going on, the last time I think I did was, Metal Gear Solid 3, maybe?! I think....this might actually be one of the best written games I ever played?

and there is still so much content I could go through, the Stage Plays, the Novels, theres probably a buncha Audio Dramas for it too already its like, Jesus christ. and then theres Ending E, which while rather difficult (and probably causes at least 4 people to fucking hate my Guts) was probably one of the best ending sequences I seen in recent years, I'm not gonna go into detail what it is because, it needs to be seen to be belived, but I find it genuiley incredible.
I dont think theres a single game in the Drakengard and Nier series I would actually consider my "Favourite Game", maybe Nier Automata but thats up for consideration still, but I think I can safeley say that both games story as a whole is easily up there with Metal Gear as  one of my favourite Game stories out there, and friends and followers of mine would know by now how much I love that Franchise and its wacky insane story, Drakengard and Nier are special little series that you dont see enough of these days, but maybe thats for the better
I'm not gonna say "Nier Automata rekindled my love for video games" or anything, but I am glad I got to expirience these two series.

Thus far I’m just attempting to get used to the ability learning system. Not in terms of learning how to use it, it’s beginner levels of simple. In terms of not getting royally annoyed while I attempt to use this archaic and backwards style of character progression.
Clan Heretics continues taking some steady missions to the point of gaining some traction and deciding to join in on the clan wars. The concept is fine with me, even a positive if I’m honest as clan fights are interesting to me. But I don’t know how they are handled just yet since the only facet of this that I’ve seen so far is completing an unrelated mission and being told I succeeded in clearing a bit of turf or something.
Not so sure it’s fully realized here, but not bad at least.
I did roll my eyes at the scene explaining the clan wars since it was preceded by Ramza exclaiming his joy at their progress, which, fair. I just wasn’t ready to accept this tone since I keep thinking “shouldn’t you be a little more morally upset at all the fighting you’re now undertaking?” but the game is busy going “YAY! We’re in a video game world! Murder is happy funtime!”.
I guess I’m taking it the wrong way.
As I mentioned, the skill acquisition system i grating beyond belief. Been spending plenty of money on weapons that are worthless in every way save for teaching a skill, then grinding with them (instead of gearing up properly). It’s painful.
I can’t put to words how excited I got to finally see a countdown timer, and how crushing a realization it was that thus far the only enemies in danger of permanent death are undead.... because undead raise on that turn instead of permanently dying... ugh.
And finally we had a scene I liked.
Finally.
I was complaining that Ramza felt like h was too happy to be in this dangerous new world and the game takes a 180 AND explains it subtly as well.
Good on you.
Basically we reunited with Ritz for a quick parlay and when we finished she refused to join us because she has no interest in finding a way back home.
Maybe she has a reason, but at face value it’s selfish and dumb, I’m just giving her leeway in the hope that there is some ‘My life is terrible at home and this is my only real chance to live’ story or something. Maybe she’s terribly written, but I’m keeping hope thus far.
What was exciting for me was Ramza showing more excitement at their progress in missions back at the clan pub only for our moogle pal to break through the emotional barrier and ask Ramza how he really felt.
Perhaps it’s meant to imply he’s only faking it “this” time, but I’m easily able to accept that he’s been a mix of attempting to accept this and attempting to pretend he’s fine this entire time, it just took seeing Ritz to break through a bit.
Ramza is worried he’s stuck here forever and he’s shaken by this fact mixed with Ritz’ unwillingness to help him.
Not bad.

shlooting and rpgs, Celestialvania
so, looter shooters (shlooters) and rpg leveling were recent thoughts of mine for this little celestialvania game i had, which drew influence from bl2, pokemon, and hld for gameplay base, but with a more jojo-stand esque usage of teams/abilities. 
i’ve started to realize that pokemon combines the two: what pops up in rng encounters is what you can level and customize via moveset. bl2 takes the (more or less) opposite approach, the rng loot that you can find have static stats and passives; what you level is yourself as a character. generally, through the game, you level your character just based on what seems appealing, in terms of overarching gameplay style or just down one of the three trees for that sick capstone, and if you happen to loot some good rarity gun that fits your skill tree at the moment, then awesome. it’s really only lategame, where you’re starting to get the legendaries and legit loot, that you might consider respeccing your build around specific guns, shields, class mods, grenades, etc. Ok wow, I need to punctuate because holy shit. 
So I guess what I need to figure out going onwards is why exactly BL2′s system is so good. I think part of the reason is the need to constantly find new equipment as you rapidly outgrow it in harsher levels/environments, and there’s that sentimental point of finally replacing a reliable gear that carried you through a significant point of the game. I guess that’s really Pokemon’s strength, then, in that you’re supposed to become attached to specific Pokemon and never outgrow them, only deepen your bond as you level them to the last of the game’s content. We’re gonna ignore PVP connotations for now, because I don’t think a game with network connectivity or PvP is anywhere near what I’m able to do for game-making right now. So, loot shooting is kind of a different “badge” of devotion, of showcasing a rare as fuck loot that you can only get by farming untold hours, defeating shit hard bosses, or farming shit hard bosses. 
There’s also a reverse timeline of where the rng comes in. BL2′s is at the “end”, where either you get the drop or you don’t, and getting it marks the end of your struggle and the beginning of funtimes. Pokemon’s rng is at the very beginning, and is a lot less black and white with all the varieties of stats and their combinations affecting viability. Pokemon therefore has the problem where rng actually kinda fucks with the sentimentality they have going if you become the kind of person that catches tons of a Pokemon until you find one with the stats/nature you want. The most common solution to mitigating the bad feeling of having a bunch of captured nobodies seems to be sacrificing them towards your main a la Gachas (Love Live, Granblue Fantasy, Puzzles and Dragons), but that still just feels horrid (lol Pokemon Go).
So lets talk a short bit about my game idea, tentative name Celestialvania. (I came up with the idea after seeing a gorgeous two story wooden house at twilight (the dark, late, basically night, good kind) when out on a walk. It was actually hella close to my house, but I never noticed because it was so concealed by shrubbery and tall trees. Wanna say it had a Victorian style, but I’m pretty sure that’s wrong as shit, but idk what else to call it. Tall and woody with tall and thin 2nd story windows (really all i could see of the house) and a tall pointed roof.) Cosmic horror/occult naturey vibe. Context is a spaceship of sorts sailing to a distant location, but old and traveling enough to the point where it’s basically just a piece of Earth, suburban and foresty and all, with an artificial sky. Come some shenanigans, night permanently falls with the failure of the sky, and its up to you as some plucky racially and genderly ambiguous teen to band with your hot and queer and plucky and cheer squad to do shit, whether its meeting up in the Asian restaurant one’s parents own that’s conveniently the only store in the entire downtown that still has power, beaning monsters in the local forest, fighting a great beast / really tall trench-coated occult looking humanoid mf at the highschool football stadium, or realizing that the old local church is actually a really large elevator to the 2nd world under your own, where “stars” are just laid out in a flat grid and named as cartesian coordinates and they’re much more urban and casually high tech than you are. Also a sea that’s the cooling vat for the main power, but contamination of the sea with creatures that feed off this thermal and otheryadda power has lead to darkness and some shit developing in said darkness. Anyway the point is I thought of some damage types for rock paper scissors pokemony style, with planetary (default physical), gravitas, constellation, nebulous, solar, and nautical. The point is I want you to be able to assemble a “team”, like in Pokemon, but the combat is more like Hyper Light Drifter or dare I say it Dark Souls. While you still have an “active” team member like in Pokemon, the rest of the team still gives passives and gameplay affects to yourself. Hence “Jojo stands”.
The main issue I had earlier that I’m hoping to figure out, typing all this out now, is how to flesh out a design of capturing members for said team, as they’d be cosmic entities of varying creature-ness and cosmic type. Like as in, what would be the factors that’d be rng-ey. BL2 is rng in two factors, more or less: passive and stats. Rarity classifications/colors are basically just a tier system for this rng gear. BL2 stats are Damage, Accuracy, Fire Rate, Reload Speed, and Magazine Size. Oh I guess a 3rd factor is weapon brand, because each has special factors there too, from Torgue’s rocket ammo on assault rifles and shotguns to Jakobs lack of full automatic but fire rate limited only by manual trigger pull speed. I started thinking up type interactions, but that’s honestly probably another post because this one is getting long. Still wondering though if this answer will just come to me as I flesh out the interactions of the types more and more. It all feels like it can’t exist or begin development without other pieces already in place, but it feels like those pieces are relying on every other too.
But then I did raise a good point. Stats. What sort of stats does my game want? Shit, what stats does Hyper Light Drifter even have? Time to do some research. That’ll hopefully help a bit with my question of hitboxes. Dark Souls is sick because of how good the hitboxes are with swing timing and range in a 3D atmosphere. So many times, sick victories against enemies are pulled off by swinging and landing your hit while they’re also in the middle of a heavy ass swing. I’m not sure how to equate that in a top down pixel-ey game. I thought about “hard-coding” damage timing with animations of attacks, as well as actually just using 3D models but just stuck to a top-down view a bit like how 2D fighters like Dragonball Z Fighters and Guilty Gear Xrd do 3D. It might definitely be out of my scope for now though. Actually fuck that it very well might not be. Downloading a trial/buying permanent license of Gamemaker in a week, after apprenticeship deadline for Disney. Man, I gotta be working on my portfolio. Like, immediate one. I want to make this game work. I guess this is one new use for this blog, but random smarmy writings are always welcome. I just hope they come from a better place now, though we’ll really have to see if I can even reach my previous spot of self-authenticity to work on improving it while in a living environment with my parents. Feels like an excuse typing that out. Need to sleep and wake early and start fuckin animatinnng groaaar.
