Just Some Random Bloody Crow Headcanons (Part…1?)
(I have been meaning to post these. They are mainly for my fan-fic on the boi).
🩸 Crow became a true Vilebood at the age of 26. Before the transformation, he was a young man with prematurely silver hair, green eyes, and a scarred, pale face. After receiving the blood, his hair became white, his eyes changed to crimson, and his old scars vanished completely, as he had been perfected. He had a cold Pthumerian look with dark-ringed and sunken eyes, along with a lack of melanin.
🩸 Crow’s strength before becoming a Vileblood was already inhuman and unnatural, but past the transformation, he was nearly invincible. Eileen herself hunted him for nearly 40 years and could not halt his rampage despite all her efforts.
🩸 Crow was mentally unstable before his Vileblood transformation, but it was heavily suppressed. He struggled with schizophrenic symptoms like psychosis and delusions that he couldn’t control. He also was severely PTSD-ridden, depressed, anxious, and paranoid in general, but didn’t seem to be aware of it, brushing everything off as emotional weakness that he needed to have under control.
His Vileblood transformation only sealed these illnesses into a single pool of madness that left Crow with a broken psyche.
🩸 Crow’s goal when following Annalise was to eliminate all hunters and bring his queen blood-dregs, which he did willingly and not because Annalise has ordered him to. He was her executioner, and shared in her desires for revenge against the Church, as well as the humans of Yharnam in general, but he came to her with this desire after she revealed her plans to him alone.
🩸 The general goal between Crow and Annalise was to bring forth the Child of Blood, a godlike being that would allow them to ascend to a higher state of acceptance and communion with the Great Ones. The child would be their witness and eventually their source of power—the power they needed to triumph against the world.
🩸 Crow and Annalise shared a symbiotic relationship—Annalise was restraint and Crow was chaos. Their wills were in alignment as individuals even in their wrath and madness. Though Crow served as Annalise’s knight and reaper, he did it of his own volition, even if there was a strain of emotional manipulation involved.
Simply put, Annalise encouraged his darkness and nourished his anger, and he carried out her more sinister plots. They enabled and nurtured the worst in one another, after years of shared misery.
🩸 Crow was initially raised to be the captain of Cainhurst’s royal guard and was therefore trained for the role from the moment he could walk.
🩸 Maria was Crow’s biological sister. The only other person besides Annalise and Eileen that Crow fought to emotionally bond to in his adulthood, but after years of separation and miscommunication, Crow’s trust in Maria’s love for him became shattered and strained.
🩸 This type of broken trust was also rampant in Crow’s relationship with Eileen, but not because she had nurtured it. It was entirely the result of his fractured mind.
🩸 Mental turmoil aside, Crow was the deadliest Hunter-of-Hunters that ever was, and was only surpassed by the Hunter that was still dream-bound.
🩸 Smol Crow was very cute and innocent.
