🏃‍♀️ How to Fit Exercise into a Busy Lifestyle 🏃‍♀️ Over the last 18-months we have had to adjust ... a lot and it's been hard, I get it • Now that life is starting to become more 'normal' again, it's only natural that we're trying to make the most of each day 𝘽𝙐𝙏 as a result many of us feel as through we're struggling to fit everything in. So here are a few tips to help: 📅 Block out time - take 5-minutes every Sunday to schedule in some non-negotiable time to for your workouts during the week ahead • At the moment I'm working out 4-5 times a week and generally schedule my rest days on Monday's and Saturday's as I know that they tend to be the days I feel most in need of a Netflix & chill session! 📝 Plan ahead - although I know 'just showing up' is a little on trend at the moment (it's fast becoming the mindful eating of the roaring 20's don't you think?) turning up at the gym without a plan is a recipe for an unproductive session • You wouldn't walk into a presentation without a plan so why walk into the gym without one? 👩‍🎓 Be smart - if you know that you're tight on time one day and won't be able to fit in your usual workout, don't try to cram it in and half arse it • Instead be smart, can you switch your sessions around or your rest days to suit? 🚶‍♀️ Maximise your time - one of the best ways to fit movement into a busy lifestyle is to use your breaks to get some steps in • A 30-minute lunch walk will add around 5K steps to your day! ✌️ Be realistic - don't overwhelm yourself with your goals, make sure you set yourself an achievable target each week to stay motivated!
